The list above doesn't look too bad to me, but as it's written it's just a standard Combined Arms Detachment. If you make just a couple tweaks, you can turn your CAD into a pair of Formations that offer some particularly nasty bonuses...

If you traded the Flyer for a team of Assault Marines and Downgraded the Int-Chaplain to a regular Chaplain (or traded him for a Company Master), you'd have a Lion's Blade Detachment with a Ravenwing Strike Force on the side.

That would let your Greenwing fire overwatch at full BS, rather than at BS 2 like you'd be doing in the list above. It would also let your Ravens either Turbo Boost and Jink for free on Turn 1, or automatically come in via Outflank on Turn 2 (no reserve roll required).

See what I mean?

-----------------------

Edit: You'd also have room to bring in one more HQ if you wanted, as the LBD's Commander (points permitting).

Yeah I definitely noticed this possibility, however the biggest rule where I'm playing is that if my opponent only uses CADs or allied detachments, then I'm restricted to that as well, so I don't really want to risk bringing a lions blade, and then having to change things up to a CAD at the meet up. Thanks for the advice though, will come in handy.

Hmm... That's a very strange house rule, but I understand; you have to respect it.

One possibility might be to make out two lists: One with the Lion's Blade/Ravenwing, and the other with the Flyer and the CAD. That way, you can run either one, depending on whether or not your opponent sticks to a CAD, or runs formations.

Can't believe I didn't think of that
So then other than switching things up to a lions blade, do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

There's the possibility of using Grav Cannons on your devestators, if you have the points.

Grav Cannons are nasty buggers. 24" Range, Salvo 3/5, with Graviton, and Re-rolling failed wounds. Apply some Mathhammer, and you see they can be a big threat.

20 shots, hitting on 3+ has a 66% sucess rate, or an average of 13 hits.
13 hits, wounding on 3+ (MEQ Armor), re-rolling, has an 89% sucess rate, or an average of 11 wounds -- at AP 2.

They can even be a threat to vehicles:
Those same average 13 hits auto-immobilize a vehicle on a 6+, re-rolling. That's a 31% suceess rate, or an average of 4 penetrating hits. -- That's enough to take down a Land Raider.

Plus, you can still fire them if you're forced to move your Dev Team, albeit at a 12 shots 12" Range, rather than 20 at 24".
