So I'm looking to make a turbo Dbag list, designed to just blast armies off the table.

This list is not meant to be fun to play against and only would be brought out against TFG that brings multiple riptides, eldar wraith Knights, or flyers against armies with non flyers

Tentative rough outline of an army would be

War hound Titan with a plasma obliterater and a laser destroyer to just blast tanks right away

Then for HQ a tech marine master of the forge to repair, and 2 tac squads to fill the CAD and then the SM sky hunter missile launcher to take out air units

Don't care about capture points just blasting things off the table.

What do you all suggest really wanna keep the Titan just for the lawls

To be TFG with what you've said:

Warhound with dual turbo lasers or go home.

If you need troop slots then take scouts like every other list like this.

Don't use Baneblades unless you like watching most of your army die turn 1 to Stormsurge missiles/Wraithcannons.

Escalation T.C'tan dubious for sure but hey you wanted to be TFG pwr lv and you could always use the FAQ on OOP material.

I'm just looking to make this list to be TFG to the other TFG. We have a kid making an eldar list with a FW Wraith knight, and a flying far seer with 2 template D weapons. Looking to just rain on his parade.

To be clear he is not actually a TFG pretty cool kid but it's always fun to mess with him.

This is akin to running a 1500 point cultist army is just for the lawls.

Ok but scouts, duel lasers on the Titan and a sky hunter missile launcher, anything else that would be down right disgusting to take? Beside the tech marine being a master of the forge with a conversion Beamer

To many unpainted models to count.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

And with a twist, it's not Imperial.

Behold the glory that is Chaos. (That no one uses because it would cost a fortune and be a nightmare to play.)

The Unending Host for siege of Vraks
(Renegade infantry units return to the table on a 2+, may outflank, and gain a die when running when they come on the board. Also get 3+ cover thru their own units lol.)
Command squad with plasma gun and krak (why not lol)
4x Platoons with:
Command squad with plasma gun
2x milita with plasma guns each and vet

LoW:
Brass Scorpion

This results in 13 units that all pack a plasma gun, they have BS2 and no armor, but who cares? They come back to life anyway en masse...(I mean this army tops out at 125 infantry models lol)

Throw in the Brass Scorpion, which eats pretty much everything, armor, psykers, gargants, super heavies, whatever you point it at.

You can drown your enemy in flesh, and have a disgustingly nasty super heavy to boot! (All the while bringing them back to life anywhere on the board.)

Tell them to up their game to 3000 points then bring a Warlord Titan.

At worst it explodes and you get a draw.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Flying Farseer with 2 template D weapons? i wish to know how aside he is bringing a Hemlock wich is not a template but a 2x Blast weapon. (i just don't know template D weapons aside Wraithguard D-scythes)

The most easy is a Wraith titans Eldar formation 1x Revenant and 2x Wraithknights put you 10 points under the limit.

Wait, there's another answer besides "two more Warhound titans"?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Mechanicus Start Collecting! box with the Unmaker gauntlet for 1-9 hp restoration on the titan, the Icarus array for all the anti air, and the haywire guns as needed for the giggles.

Could possibly even squeeze in a flyer of your own through DFTS if you wanted.

Alternatively, CAD Mechanicus with grav servitors and the Unmaker.

And now we know why GW has codices that are imbalanced. It's an arm race and we have to keep buying or paying more to keep up with the Joneses. I guess, GW policy does work, or I should say use to work, since sales are still keeping going down. I guess it's not as good as they use to. Time will tell if 8th edition fixes this or if it will be the same old same old.

Why do you need to field a CAD if you are just going to blow things off the table. Might as well go Unbound.

Speaking from experience, the arms race was part of the fun starting out - especially if you started out at the same time with someone.

I think the problem now is that the arms race has been exhausted and they haven't refilled the ranks with fresh blood as well as they used to, i.e. the non-trivial influx of Dawn of War players back in the day.

While it can be fun, just like a lot of MMOs from what I hear, the game becomes "Play to win" then. So starting off with friends, is great, but when you want to do Pick Up Games with strangers, this is not fun at all. I think this is one of the reasons why GW is hurting so much. Hopefully 8th edition fixes this.
