I am planning on a visit to my local GW store for a small game on a gaming evening they run.

I have no idea what I will be facing or what type of mission I will be playing. So I want an army that will be relatively survivable no matter what I play against.

Is there any changes anyone would recommend for this list?

I assume the squad in the razor is 5 man, not 15.

Chapter Tactics? Imp. Fists would be my guess, but a few others could work.

It looks like a solid, well rounded, TAC list. There are a few tweaks I’d suggest, but it should play well as-is.

Your librarian could use a bike. You’ve got a squad for him to hang out with, and not being cooped up in a box/hanging in the backfield will let him get more use out of his powers. If you plan on moving him up, an auspex could be nice.

I’d like to see that 4th LC in the dev squad.

The easy points I’d shave would be the dozer blades and the 6th dev. Camo cloaks would be next. That’s about it for things I’d like to cut. More points could be freed up by switching one of the squads over to melta.

With a little work, you could shift this over to a Sternhammer Strike Force. Swap the Lib for a captain/chaplain, and the scouts for a 3rd tac squad.

If it's Imperial Fists I'd definitely aim at a Sternhammer Strike Force. It can be done for 750 points (see below) & that would give you 250 more for upgrades/anti-air, extra Devastator "wounds"/transport or whatever else you wanted

STERNHAMMER STRIKE FORCE

Core (Battle Demi Company)

Chaplain (90 points)

Tacs (5man) Meltagun, Combi Melta + Rhino, dozer blades
Tacs (5man) Meltagun, Combi Melta + Rhino, dozer blades
Tacs (5man) Meltagun, Combi Melta + Rhino, dozer blades
(390 points)

Attack bike (HBolter) (40 points)
Devastators (5man) + MLx4 (130 points)

Auxillary choice:
Thunderfire Cannon (100 points)

750 points total! And you still have 250 left!!!

1000 points Single CAD? Khan and a Librarian with hunters eye in a command squad with apoc and 4 grav 2SS and then as many 3 man units of bikes with grav/melta (1:1 is a solid ratio) as you can fit.
