Quick question:
So Archaon (either version) has his Crown of Domination that allows him to effect the result of a dice roll by +/- 2 for battle shock tests of anybody nearby.
Many Daemon units (Plaguebeares, Bloodcrushers, etc..) have the Icon bearer rule where if you roll a 1 for battle shock you add d3 or d6 models back to the unit as reality blinks.


Does this mean that an Icon Bearer unit effected by this ability adds models back (only to its original size no more obviously) on a 1, 2, or 3 or only on a 1 and 3 ?

It's a roll of 1 on the dice, otherwise modifiers from models lost, unit size, etc would mess everything up.

Exactly what Ninth said. The warscroll says "if you roll a 1" not "on a result of 1". The actually roll of the die is what caused the effect.
