Are there any third parties that make SM compatible shotguns? Both one handed and two handed grips. maybe even holstered.
I'm looking to buff out my deathwatch with more shotguns.

Forge World actually has some in the form of the "Deliverance" pattern; they come with no hands attached so you can fit them as you wish.

That's not horrible. Works out to be about $20 for 10 shotguns.

With some work the scout ones might work. Holstered ones come with the scout bikes IIRC, but they are on the large side.

Holstered isn't so bad. I'm going to try some of the scout ones that aren't too to see how they work.

Kromlech was johnny on the spot with Frags, I thought maybe they would have shotguns. :(

I was hoping for something closer to the DW style shotgun though so I don't have to have hinky WYSIWYG.

I tried this approach on a test Marine(the scout ones, not the scout biker ones) Not too bad, I just felt they were a tad too small. well compared to the new one for DW anyway

I have been using the PPSH's left over from my German Grenadiers as the shotguns. Yes, they are too small, but they look just like the Combat Shotgun from Fallout 3, so I had to use them

I actually kind of like that. Have you tried adding a row of shells to the top to bulk them out? And could you post a comparison with the DW one?

Did you carve off the scout hands or just paint it like a marine?

I dont have any shells to the top, though it would greatly increase the bulk, Ill see about anything I can convert, maybe cutting the grenades in half and lining the top in a row.
Yes I did just carve the scout hands off the Forgrip and I chopped off the entire handle area. Reasoning was that after i tried using the scout hand, it was extremly small by comparison. So I trimmed a hand off a bolter, and plastic glued it to the shotgun and used that.

Awesome. I want to say my bits box has a row of shells, but I don't see it in my SM bits. Maybe it's an IG bit that I'm thinking of. Thanks for the help!
