I wanted my Kniight Gallant to have a gauntlet that was a bit different from the standard, something to show it's more aggressive, get into combat nature. A quick look at the fingers on the gauntlet showed that clipping the pads off at the last joint and rounding the contact point would be easy, but what to use as simple to make talons? The shape seemed like Dark Eldar or Necrons would be a good place to start looking and sure enough, the legs on the Illuminor Szeras model looked perfect for the project. It worked great, clipping the legs at the ball joint and using a small file to clean up the radius gave a perfect fit to the fingers on the gauntlet, some may complain about fine cast but it is easy to work with when converting!. A little superglue and a small dab of green stuff to make for a strong joint and done. Hope you all find this helpful.
