Isn't that made by Prodos/Archon/Whatever and ND is just distributing their stuff? I remember them previewing a very badly done version last year and then posting a correction.

Subject: Soda pop and ninja divsion make a 28MM Aliens drop ship

Well how are the colonial marines supposed to ship if they don't have a drop ship to land in?
Oh how many of my childhood dreams are being manufactured by companies that can't even compete for quality with toxic Chinese sweat shops

Be warned, if you order this from Prodos expect 3-4 month wait with very poor communication. It took starting the process with PayPal to get money back for them to ship.
That being said the quality is pretty decent. Four out of five stars or so.
Looks very cool and have only bought the avp boxed game, even that was from an online retailer but going by how they e messed many people around on funding the game. Be damned if il ever give them more money even less chance of 150 quid or what ever the price tag is for the dropship.
But I'm sure people will.
As nice as this is, I can't bring myself to give a single £0.01 more to PRODOS Games as they operate with very questionable ethics. Still waiting on the stuff I ordered over 3 years ago through the AVP Kickstarter, despite it being sold in retail now for 2.5 years.
Me and a lot of other people.
A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............
My mate ordered one of these last year as he had a month off from work.
Paid extra for fast postage (which was already expensive) so he could get it for when he was off and had something to do.
Needless to say it didn't turn up before he went away for his break.
Over a month later (it was supposed to be next day delivery) it still hadn't arrived so he tried to get a refund from Prodos.
After a lot of faffing about they eventually agreed to give him the refund and he got his money back - he had bought something else to do whilst on holiday and no longer wanted it and it seemed like a lot of hassle.
Finally after receiving his refund a couple of days later he got an email saying really sorry - even though we've refunded you we have still dispatched your item, coz basically we are really disorganised, do you still want the drop ship and if not please refuse the delivery.
Told his staff to not accept the package but Prodos hadn't put his name on the box and as it was coming to work somebody had signed for it. He then spent almost a week trying to return it but nobody replied to his emails.....
So he still has it.
In short - it's actually a nice kit - but I would never deal with them as they are a bit of a nightmare.

Prodos make some beautiful kits and models in 28mm, of a fantastic quality. The stuff paints-up really nicely and they use innovative multi-part moulds, so some extremely dynamic poses are available as single-piece sculpts. HOWEVER....
Prodos are the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I made an order from them in July and never got a reply to ANY of my attempts to contact them, be it via their website or social media. They just ignored me completely. Thankfully I managed to claim back the payment this month, but my trust in the company has been ruined and I'll never deal with them directly again.
So... my advice? If you really want something from Prodos, buy it from a third-party retailer, and even then only if they have it in stock (because Prodos don't seem to mind screwing them over either... look at Wayland Games. Space Crusade is still on 'pre-order' for them, 6 months after Prodos said it would be shipped).
Great product. Worst customer service in the industry.

While I generally agree.. I think you're forgetting or unaware of Defiance games. CMoN can be bad too.. not so much with the delays but customer service.. my experience with them has been less than stellar. Spellcrow for me has a bad retail track record, then there's Center Stage. Again.. I agree with you...and it's sad that they're in the ranks of these companies.. but there's also a second side of Prodos that is delivering for other projects on time and with amazing quality. It's like 2 different entities and the one can't seem to do what the other makes look easy..
Check out my gallery here Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
It probably arrived in the Prodos bin bag of safe travels like the AvP pledges did.
Nope. The wood box was in a cardboard box, no padding. The model was packed as you see it in pics. I was worried when it arrived as I opened it. Luckily, 100% fine.
this isn't exactly news, this thing has been out for a long time. Did it get updated or something?

As much as I dislike how Prodos have handled the AvP kickstarter (or not as the case may be) this still looks like one of the most desirable minis I have ever seen.
Just the thought of this, squad of marines and Hadley's Hope base setup (which you can do easily from any number of MDF kit companies these days) - that's surely the most exciting hobby and film fan dream right there.

If you never herd of it before, yes it is news to me. We can't be up to date with ever single thing. Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's not news. It might not be new, but it's still news.

And from Prodos... THATS saying something!
