Hi there,

I'm looking for detailed information on Explorator Fleets, because I want to build a Explorator themed army. So far I've read the Codex: Skitarii as well as the regarding entries in the lexicanum and the 40KWiki. Is there more and especially more detailed info on this topic?

Cheers

Yes there is quite a lot but its all hidden in novels and the Rogue trader RPG.

I know for sure that there is a lot in the Beast arises series.

The novel Priests of Mars is about an explorator fleet. It is also a lot of fun to read.

There's also the novels "Adeptus Mechanicus: Skitarius" and "Adeptus Mechanicus: Tech-Priest" by Rob Sanders, the said Tech-Priest is an explorator magos. The books aren't really focused on the fleet but there's some info. It's quick to read, too.

Back in the day when BFG and the other separate games had their own magazines, there was a write-up on the explorator fleets for BFG. It had a bit of fluff on their general makeup as well as what ships they tended to use and all that.

I'll go through my stash and see if I can find the specific issue.

Thanks a lot guys! I just bought "Priests of Mars" and started reading already. The Rogue Trader Core Rulebook seems to be hard to get, but I'll look for it on ebay. "Adeptus Mechanicus: Skitarius" is on my list, too.

@ chromedog: Thank you very much! That would be great!
