I love all the mechanics and tools in the Sylvaneth faction. Cool looking minis too. I am a competitive gamer so I want a list that will satisfy me. Am I making a list building error in putting 3 behemoths in here? For a collecting strategy, 2-3 boxes of start collecting Sylvaneth seems pretty straight forward.

I am not comfortable or familiar with the battalion strategies and rules for AoS, any pro tips ??

A little heavy on the branchwraiths from what I"ve normally seen but you are on the right track.

Kurnoth bowmen are brutal.

Most people take the low numbers and figure it will be an easy run. Then the shenanigans begin and catch folks off guard.

Tree spirit army is tough.

Wow, 1 Branchwraith is heavy. Thanks for the tip.

Any advice on battalions?

Maybe he meant Dryads? 1 Branchwraith isn't bad at all. Since you get to choose which spell you get, just choose Regrowth and follow your Son of Durthu around causing him to regen d6 wounds per hero phase. Branchwraiths are better than Branchwitches, because neither wants to be in combat really but the Branchwraith gets -1 to hit when inside a forest.

Dryads can be an absolute nightmare to get rid of if you proliferate the board with Wyldwoods. Above 12 models in a forest means 3+ Sv -1 to hit, mystic shild means a 2+, run them alongside your treemen for groundbreaking stop for -2 or even -3 to hit. I've had someone rage quit Age of Sigmar entirely when Sylvaneth first came out and I pulled this. Any kind of objective, pop a Wyldwood on it and some Dryads and dare them to remove you.

Battalion wise only two are available to you. Harvestboon needs an additional Branchwraith, but I believe a Branchwraith is 100pts and you have exactly that left over. It gives Wraiths +1 to cast and dispel and a cool arcane artifact as well as +1 to run and charges. And Winterleaf that requires you to run 4 units of dryads (so 4x10 in your case), but every 6 to hit generates another hit and they treat Ophidian Archways as Wyldwood for all that matters.

Harvestboon is obviously the best choice. Pick up another Branchwraith and you've got a great AoS army.

Thanks for the tips! Is this a good way to go about collecting, straight towards 3 giant trees? Sylvaneth looks so cool and tricksy! After listening to some of the podcastd I think the free terrain will end up being my more(most) important model.

3 Trees might be a little boring for you, possibly consider Drycha instead of a Tree. She's a lot faster and has the potential to cause a lot of damage, and adds a lot of character to an army so Dryad heavy as yours.

Tree revenants are good, but they don't replace Dryads. They don't have the staying power of Dryads, although their usefulness comes in the form on Waypipes. With Waypipes and their re-roll they can quite reliably make those 9'' charges when way-piping on from the edge of the board, especially if they're included in a Harvestboon battalion. But again, take them alongside Dryads, not in place of.

I hate GW Wyldwood, but I can't find any other suitable models. You'll have to make your own Wyldwoods, considering how many your likely to need but wanted teach to remain unique.
