GW store I got the bonesinger for buying a 'Nid Battleforce and a WHFB rulebook. I went in to buy a carnifex and I didn't have the hardcover rulebook yet, so it wasn't too bad. But I did spend way more than I was planning too. WHFB deal makes a lot more sense because you can get a LE night goblin fanatic , which if you buy Battle for Skull's Pass, becomes very useful. I guess the most efficient way to get the bonesinger if you play Eldar is to get the hardcover 40K rulebook (if you don't already have it), the (preferrably older) Eldar battleforce, and then the bonesinger. That way you don't get a bunch of models you don't need.

But after saying that, there's really no such thing as models you don't need. Models from another army make great casualty covered bases and terrain or trophies. Battle for Macragge could be used to put dead bugs all over your eldar if you're playing the craftworld that almost died to bugs, or any other craftworld could use some dead marines. Really what Xenos or Chaos army couldn't use a bunch of dead marines. In fact, I used a Battle for Macragge marine just last night in the base of a tyrant guard.
