I love this image, along with the image of the Mentor Legion commander (coming soon!) it's one of the ones that sold me on 40k. I have the figure for this and still use him as my marine commander for my all RT marine army. Just sitting in his chair, looking mean, just saying, 'don't make me get outta my chair and whoop yo ass' to any heretics or xenos who come by. Love him.

See - this is the kind of stuff I love about 40K. GW makes X-Men retcons look like a minor incident. What cracks me up, though, is that this WD is now so long in [b]our [/b]past that folks have forgotten it.

I've sworn to people before, and I can't find it anywhere anymore, but somewhere there's a piece of text in a WD about how not only were the Crimson Fists a First Founding chapter (alluded to in the two-page spread in RT), but that they were at the Istvaan Massacre. Maybe Kid can dig that up....or maybe I really was hallucinating about that. I dunno, other than Chapter Ultra-Marines vs the Ultramarines there really haven't been too many retcons. A few years back they even refered to the Battle of the Farm fluff (the sample battle in Rogue Trader which starts with an errant missile destroying the Crimson Fist's fortress killing all but 15 of them).

I can't remember ever seeing that bit of CF fluff but my Rogue Trader archives are far from complete. Anyone else able to chime in?
