That being said, I found the review of Galaxy Trucker excellent. I didn't know anything about this game before and the name didn't encourage me to check it out, but now I really feel like going out and buying it.

I skipped the Romeofoam interview because I had just heard the same guy on 40K Radio and there he sounded very much like those people on the home shopping channel telling you that you can now get a dozen kitchen utensils you have never heard of before but can't do without. That whole tone didn't appeal to me.

Avian: We do work on the shouting thing, but it is tricky as we get very excited.

As for Battlefoam, I think you'll find our interview a bit deeper than a infomercial (Yakface is even mentioned) and ours did include Raef, Craig, and my hands on experience with the battlefoam product. Along with how we challenged battlefoam to meet our particular gaming needs.

But all that said, that's why we try to include a variety of segments in the show. Not everyone is going to love every segment, so we mix it up.

Is it safe to go on? Some of us have the episode PVR'd and have to wait for the weekend to watch it, and are deliberately avoiding hearing anything about it.

Osbad: You'll be happy to know that Craig and my challenge for Battlefoam was to build a tray to hold Uncharted Seas boats. While Raef's challenge was to build a tray to hold a good number of Khador heavy warjacks. (Big, heavy, metal models).

It was a very amusing review. It's the humour that really makes the D6G stand out from other pod-casts for me. As you mentioned other good pod-casts like Meeples and Minis also do very good detailed reviews too, but the banter makes the show imo.

Sure the Battlefoam interview was an informercial. But it was the good kind of informercial This wasn't corporate shlock, but instead clearly a committed individual who has come up with a high quality product. You also clearly set Romeo a very difficult challenge with the fleets and the 'Jacks, and he also clearly surpassed your expectations. Had there been any failings then I'm sure you would have reported them. Sometimes listening to someone's enthusiasm for the product they've invented and bet their farm on is *worth* listening to. Sometimes promotion is *more* than just undeserved hype, and this was one of those times. And sometimes the "little guy" deserves help from his fellow gamers when he's done something worthwhile.

I'm as big a cynic as any when it comes to advertising, but this was one of those times I could just sit back and enjoy listening to someone who really believes in what they've done!

Now, look, guys, for the sake of my wallet can you not review the odd product that's totally crap for a change? Throw me a freakin' bone here, as you colonials colourfully put it! It actually answered a few questions I had regarding their product that isn't listed on their site. There were a few times he sounded like an infomercial with the "But wait..." type comments. I don't really care. It was in fact an infomercial piece, but at least this was actually information about the product being relayed instead of harping needlessly and more importantly not being redundant about certain features like infomercials are historically known to be.

To be honest, it was the reason why I wanted to listen to the podcast oddly enough. *shrug*

Showing the time at which each segment starts. Then people could more easily skip any segment they're not interested in.

I've enjoyed them all so far, except the one on computers, but that's only because I work with them, and have gamed with PCs for nearly two decades now. An index would have made it easier to skip without having to jump forward a minute, listen to see if it's over, and repeat.
