				<description><![CDATA[ So you have an upcoming 'Ard Boys?<br /> <br /> Well the list looks pretty good now that you've modified it based on suggestions for your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(48);'>GT</span> list.<br /> <br /> I really don't know what to change, however I will say that while Tankbustas are useful, Lootas are gennerally better, but I think all those Tankbustas in a wagon may be OK.<br /> <br /> <br /> I like it a lot though. 30 Rokkits, plus Lootas, Deffkopta suicide rushes, Bomb squigs, and Power Klaws. Seems like sufficient anti-tank to me. Plus Tankbusta bombs and Tankhammers. I assume you dropped Snikrot and a trukkboy squad to get Lootas and Deffkoptas.<br /> <br /> Maybe you could scale this down to 1850 somehow?<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well I have not played a lot of games with orks yet, but I find armor plates are a must for wagons. Being able to get your troops were they are needed seems to be the linchpin of the list.]]></description>

I've been paying close attention to your evolving 1850 rokkitwagon list and I'll admit I'm not smitten with the strategy. With the points you spend on the rokkits and kannons on the BWs you could field a squad of warbuggies with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rokkits or another kamizakee kopta. I feel that both those options are more efficient because they allow you to keep moving. I've found that if the BWs stand still for a turn you're often faced with people getting rear or at least side shots on you. <br /> <br /> The only other point I'd make is that you have only 4 troops choices in a 2500 list as an ork player, 3 of those troops being fairly easy to get rid of. I'm not sure where you'd make room for them, possibly scaling down your nobz? <br /> <br /> Otherwise looks pretty solid.]]></description>

Perhaps a second squad of lootas would be better, and I hadn't even thought about war buggies.  'Ard Boyz isn't until May, but I think between now and then I'm going to have to konvert some rokkit buggies (<a href="http://www.the-waaagh.com/forums/?showtopic=43927" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.the-waaagh.com/forums/?showtopic=43927</a>) out of some Deffkoptas.  Need to find a good source of tires. <br /> <br /> I jumped on the rokkits on the battlewagons because Kevin Nash spoke authoritatively on it, but stylistically, I'm having a real tough time sitting still with assault orks.  I think those rokkits are important, and I'm going to sort out rokkit buggies so I can move and still shoot.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah I've seen some of his battle reports. The idea seems to work as reliably as any other Ork tactic as far as anti-tank goes, but it just seems like the BWs shouldn't be standing still. I've tried to make killwagons before and while they can be fun and somewhat effective, I still fill the absolute best role is as a straight transport. <br /> <br /> As an Ork you are always gonna struggle with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> 13 and 14, and trying to force the Orks to be effective against something that the codex has decided they're not just doesn't sit well with me. In the end it seems like the sacrifice in mobility is not worth the possible pop on a heavy vehicle. <br /> <br /> I've used warbuggies before, I ran a squad of three with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rokkits. I was rather disappointed in the results with just the one squad, but i feel that two squads of three would be a viable anti-tank threat. They have a couple things going for them:<br /> <br /> -Paired with a KeffMek (or even without) they aren't a guaranteed killpoint for the enemy like kamizakee koptas. With warbuggies you can rely on about 3 turns of shooting with them if used carefully, I've had squads survive entire games with them shooting every turn <br /> <br /> -The koptas get one round of glory (maybe) before they're blown away. The fact that they're actually vehicles makes them relatively unafraid of small arms fire, something that the koptas can't claim. <br /> <br /> -They're dirt cheap. you can get two rokkit buggies for 1 buzzsaw deffkotpa. Because their so cheap its not devastating to lose a squad becuase 3 only cost you a little over 100 points. If you lose them, all you've lost is your cheapest anti-tank unit as compared to losing a rokkit BW in which you've lost an expensive transport as well as an expensive anti-tank unit. <br /> <br /> -Fast vehicle. Move 12" fire the 24" rokkits. Effectively a 36" rokkit that can probably get side armor with its speed. If you don't find yourself with a desireable shot than you can move em 18" behind something and surely get a nice juicy side/rear armor shot next turn.<br /> <br /> Problems: (Beside lack of model to buy)<br /> <br /> -Low rate of fire: You've only got 3 possible impacts here, and thats not great for orks especially if you need 5s or 6s to pen. I ran into this problem when I ran only 1 squad of 3. I feel this can be solved by using two squads of them. You'd have to lose a deffkopta to make this work, but I'd honestly drop them anyway. Orks usually have leftover <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(35);'>FA</span> slots anyway since that section is so weak in the codex, so I've never been in a spot where I was thinking  'damn I wish I had another fast attack choice"<br /> <br /> -Though I find they live longer than koptas, if the enemy wants it dead, it'll die. 10AV open-topped does make it more resillient to bolter fire than a kopta, but anything else is just as deadly. keeping a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> mek with them helps a lot. Plus side is, usually the enemy is focused on popping the BWs bearing down on him to be worried with little go-karts.<br /> <br /> Thats how I feel about them. I've been looking to field buggies in force, but haven't the money or the time to find suitable conversions. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

I think you'd be much better off with some MegaNobz to ride in the Wagon with Gazkull.<br /> <br /> Burnas are meh, I'd say the points are better spent on more Lootas. Its fairly nasty. Tankbustas and burnas are both very good units. 5 rokkit hits will severely cripple most tanks or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>, and the burnas are great for clearing out big swarms of things, or just about anything really. reach over, hit 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> marines with a template, suddenly 22 saves have to be made. Lootas i think are overrated, and are asking to die to any kind of ordnance. Besides, its a mek army, the fire support SHOULD travel with the army.<br /> <br /> With that said, its for ard boyz. You have 3 trukk squads and the nobs as your only troops. Nobs are a problem, but you better believe that anyone will try their hardest to finish them off. Nobs dont last long when hit with multiple hammer squads/template weapons and you will face those kind of things in ard boyz. When 3 S8-10 ordnance shots hit the nobs you better pray to roll well. The 3 trukk squads are a joke at the points level. I would go for bigger boyz squads in wagons personally. <br /> <br /> Still a very nasty army list, and it has a lot more tactical flexibility then your regular armies have, which is always a good thing. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> give it an 8/10, and only because of its weakness to wolves/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>ig</span>.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd definately take the Gretchin here, as they help your lack of troops.<br /> <br /> As I said, rokkit buggies are better than Lootas here, and while lootas are good, buggies fit the army nicely.<br /> <br /> Plus buggies synergize with Mech better anyway, and fit the theme.<br /> <br /> I agree though, this list is quite good.<br /> <br /> Keep in mind that the trukks are probably behind the wagons, and probably won't get shot as much.<br /> <br /> Well, I've nothing more to say, I think you've got the idea, and I don't need to go around repeating myself.  ]]></description>
