The bags and patches will be released in June of this year, and we are taking pre-orders for our first production run. Pre-order time is the best time to get in on ordering your bags as you don't have to worry about what colors are in stock, we just order what is requested, and stock from there.

So, with that being said, a couple of things we need to inform you of:
1) If you are outside of the United States, please email us your location and which bags you are planning on ordering. We will use that to calculate your shipping. Because my items are large in size, but low in weight, it makes it difficult to know what to charge for shipping. You may reach us at sales@outriderhobbies.com.
2) The pre-order specials are available until April 15th. We want the initial pre-order to be a great success, so we are offering some added goodies for those that pre-order by the 15th. If we reach our goal of 200 pre-orders, we have some ideas for extra goodies for the early adopters, but you'll have to wait and find out what they are.
3) Please remember that this is a pre-order. The bags are not going to be ready to ship until some time in June. We understand that it is a bit of a wait, but that is part of the reason we have these extra goodies for the early adopters.

THE OVERLORD

The Force Ops: Overlord bag holds 18" of foam in two stacks. The case opens fully to allow trays to be taken out through the side. We have placed a plastic insert in the top of the bag, and foam lining throughout, so your models will be well protected.

The Overlord also features two pockets for books, that will fit any of your books from Total Warfare to Strategic Operations and still have room for your maps and record sheets. There are also two accessory pockets that are 6" tall, one 5" wide, and one 10". All pockets are 1" deep, providing plenty of room for any materials you may need for your next game.

Finally, you no longer have to use the Henry Ford method of color selection. We have a choice of colors for you to choose from besides basic black.

Are your larger trays essentially two trays stuck together?

Does this BattleTech Case hold foam of those sizes?

If the answer to all of those is a "yes", you're a genius and you have me as a potential customer. With no offense meant, I already have an investment in miscellaneous companies' standard foam trays, and switching sizes would be an impossibility. Catering to someone such as myself would be immensely welcome.


Additionally, I'm finding the pricing scheme to be a bit confusing. Are the prices listed under the "Force Operations Bags" the price with foam trays? Is there an option to order just the bag itself?

@Absolutionis - Yes, as Cyporiean said, our trays use the industry standard 7.5x13 trays. I'm not sure what you mean by larger trays though. We cut each tray individually based on the thickness. So a 4" tray starts as a blank 7.5x13x4" piece of foam. As there are two sizes of bags offered, there are two different prices for the bags. Both the Union and the Overlord are offered with the foam included. We are not currently offering bags without foam, but we are planning on that later on. For this initial run, we wanted to keep things as simple as possible for what we were offering. As for missing images, we are working on that. Most of the time it is just me working on everything, and I have friends that assist me at times when I need it. As for custom cut foam, we still offer that, it is listed under the "Foam Corps Trays" category. I'll make sure to cross it over to BattleTech too later.
