Phineas is the Chief Librarian of the Spears Of Ares. The alternating black and white Mechanicus theme is played out in multiple places throughout the Terminator armor while the ancient Greek motif is once again expressed through the character's name and the mosaic basing. Being a major character, Phineas has an animal portrait on his base, one commonly found in ancient Greek artwork. I chose the Dolphin for Phineas because their intelligence made a good association for a Librarian as did the ideas that Dolphins exist in two worlds both of land and water and have a sixth sonar sense while Librarians use their sixth psychic sense to perceive both the natural and supernatural worlds of Warhammer 40K. |
