Feat Turn

Warmachine MKII

The Feat Turn is a turn in which a warcaster or warlock uses their unique once per game ability. These abilities are game breakers in several ways:

  • Enhancements that affect their entire control area.
  • De-buffs and Denial within their entire control area.
  • Damaging effects that occur within their entire control area.
  • Attrition abilities that bring back models into their control area.
  • Focus/Fury generation/stealing/enhancements within their control area.

Retribution of Scyrah

  • Adeptis Rahn
    • Arcane Alignment: All friendly faction spellcasters gain increases to range and boosted magical attack and damage rolls. Not only does this mean that Rahn is more likely to hit with an important Force Hammer and other mages have a greater chance of getting critical knockdowns with their Force Bolts.
  • Garryth, Blade of Retribution
    • Vortex Lock: Garryth uses his feat after he has charged an enemy warcaster and failed to kill them. Vortex Lock prevents his opponent from boosting attack rolls with focus, thus making it difficult to hit his high DEF or to buy additional attacks.
  • Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper
    • The Vanishing: By making models in her control area unchargeable, high ARM Retribution models such as models in Shieldwall or Defensive Line become difficult to kill with infantry, and her warjacks become difficult to reach. By making ALL her models Stealthed, however, Kaelyssa can become exposed to AOE attacks.
  • Ravyn, Eternal Light
    • Fire Storm: Ravyn's own ranged attacks are also boosted by this feat, and Swift Hunter can make her army move dangerously close, or allow it to slip further away after attacking with boosted ranged attacks.
