Games Workshop Computer and Console Gaming

Introduction

The following is a list of games licensed by Games Workshop that have been released.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm

Release: 2008 (PC)

GamesRadar.com Review

Soulstorm adds two new armies to Dawn of War: Sisters of Battle and Dark Eldar. Each race also receives a flying unit. Just like Dark Crusade, Soulstorm is a standalone expansion that limits you to playing Dark Eldar or Sisters of Battle in online multiplayer games. To use the other races in online multiplayer games, you must have purchased the other versions of the game.

The campaign map adds new special scenarios, new bonus sectors, and a new expanded feel as armies struggle to control warp gates that lead to other planets.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade

Release: 2006 (PC)

GamesRadar.com Review

Dark Crusade is the second expansion for the Dawn of War real-time-strategy game. It introduced the Necrons and the Tau Empire as playable races, new units for the five previously released races, and a non-linear map campaign.

You do not need the original Dawn of War to play Dark Crusade, except to play as the older races (Space Marines, Orks, Eldar, Imperial Guard, Chaos Space Marines) in multiplayer matches.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Winter Assault

Release: 2005 (PC)

Winter Assault introduces the Imperial Guard as a playable race with two new campaigns and new units for all pre-existing armies.
