Warmachine MK2
Warjacks are typically the originators of slams through their power attacks, but other models might create slam effects as well. Most slams have the following restrictions.
- Physical slams often require the attacker to move in a straight line directly toward a target's center.
- Models that slam targets with larger bases only cause the target to move half the distance.
- Extra-effect slams (slams generated by critical hits or spells, for example) don't limit movement of the attacker, but are affected by the base size rules unless otherwise stated by the rule.
- Damage rolls against the model slammed can be boosted. Collateral damage rolls against other models hit by the slammed model cannot be boosted.
- At the end of the slam, the target is knocked down.
Models with slam effects other than the warjack power attack: slam.
Cygnar
Retribution of Scyrah
- Adeptis Rahn
- The melee weapon Balance can slam targets when it rolls a Critical Hit
- The Force Hammer spell slams its target if it's non-Incorporeal and ignores the base size restrictions of regular slams.
- Rahn can upkeep Polarity Shield on a model/unit which prevents charges and slams from being declared against the target in their front arc.
