Background and Description

Troll regeneration is so powerful that their cut flesh can spawn tiny versions of themselves. Whelps are an emergency source of food for these trolls, and assist the trolls in healing themselves.

• Alternate Food Source: Trollbloods may remove any number of Whelps from play nearby to heal damage on their spiral.
• Annoyance: Enemy models have a penalty in melee combat while a whelp is in melee range with them.
• Big Brother: When within range of a Trollblood warbeast, Whelps never flee and automatically rally.
• Spawn Whelps: Trollbloods can wait to deploy until a friendly Trollblood warbeast takes damage from an enemy.
• Wrong Place, Wrong Time: Whelps can be sacrificed in order to make a nearby Trollblood warbeast automatically pass a threshold check.
