hey folks! I am considering running a toyhammer RPG where YOU are the possession of a nerd who wakes up one day to find you lot rampaging about the house
all factions are availeble but there may be a player limit.
so! I am exited! this is the first internet RP I will be running, hope it's popular.
(NOTE: some importent battles ARE decided with dice)
there will be only five SM chapters. (the groups have banded together in a crusade led by, --insert experienced player such as WARORK, darkvoid, gorskar,
Lord Harrab Scrazza Ect. here-- the chapter will be chosen by the force commanders (five of them. if you would like to be a force commander the five slots are limited so grab them quick) just one thing. no Blood Angels or White Scars. At all.
the sisters of battle (if there are players) will we led by a cannoness
another thing: it would please be helpful if the overall army commanders were fairly experienced players
rules:
1:you may not kill another persons charachter or major NPCs. (unless you are allowed to.)
2:you will start in a predesignated room.
3: there is only one faction leader for each group and so the first players will get the most flexibility
4: Dakka is encouraged
5: act like your faction. if you are a space marine (this means you black templar) dont go getting buddy buddy with the xenos
6: it would be appreciated if the faction leaders were played by experienced role-players
7: the dogs are invincible anti-mini machines (no killing them they are going to be named after my real dogs).
8: if you die you are welcome to return as another character.
9:all factions must submit to the almighty nerd!
10: the environment has consequences. Example: someone meltas my TV antenne. I go berserk
11: I play the nerd-god.
12:no godding (but hey, its me. so minor godding is OK)
13: no blowing up people (normal sized ones)
14: the faction leaders have the privilege to choose their factions starting room.
15: each post must be 100 words or more (more is better)
16: one titan of the scout class per faction if they have the unit.
17: rules are meant to be bent. a lot.

*sigh* everyone has done nothing but say it should be different.
let me point it out to you that this is a 40k thing. not a 'lego wars' it would just be too hard to get into character for everyone concerned, there would be too many factions and the whole thing would tangle up and die

Meh.. maybe. How would combat work? If these are actual models that have "come to life", then how would you determine strength? Would guns actually work? You know.. simple things like that.
Anyway, I am so calling dibs on Straken and lots of Imperial Guard with a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT load of shenanigans.
A metal Commissar Yarrick is left alone in a bedroom, surrounded by Orks and backed up by Guardsmen in a clear diorama of the defense of Hades Hive. He slowly flexes until he breaks free of his pose and begins pacing. Wha..where am I? This place looks...Unsettling.
He looks around at the orks and guardsmen, who are also trying to move. He lifts his power klaw in to the air and shouts. To me, heroes! Cleanse this...err...Destroy the orkoid stain! Purge them from the face of this world!
The surrounding models break free and lasfire pours in to the Ork models, causing them to break and melt. Yarrick strides through their lines, rounds bursting from his Storm bolter and crushing them with his klaw. Keep firing! Do not retreat!
The orks yell and fall back. To prevent escape, Yarrik breaks the leg of a giant table. It collapses and blocks of the door. A stray lasbolt hits the rug and it catches fire. The orks scream and melt, before the Guardsmen are rocked by sudden tremours and a sound like thunder in the distant becomes louder. The door bursts open, and a giant humanoid rushes in. Seeing the fire and broken table, he contorts with rage. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
right. first of all the game has not started but the post by troll will be considered canon. (but please refrain from RPing until the game has started)
and I am working on those descriptions darko, they will be up soon
in addition to 40k there will be some lotr the armies are: gondor, isengard, mordor, moria. those are the ones I played and that game was the one that introduced me to 40k (first army was isengard cuz uruk-hai are cool)
also: there can be a small amount of ambush vally ('Nam) minis as I play that if you want
aside from that I dont want to clutter up the factions too much.
We could have a recruitment thread, a thread for each faction (whole codices, not individual forces, e.g. Imperial Guard as a whole rather than Darkvoid's Forces) and a thread for battles. Battles could revolve around using creativity-you could say that you blow up a cupboard to get the guys inside, but risk annoying the humans. Alternatively, they could shoot flamers through it but on a 5+ they set fire to the carpet. Alliances could be created between two forces, however one force may have different enemies to another and infighting could start. And dogs could be involved when there's lots of loud noises.
Not with real models obviously, just internet discussion and dice rolling. Just an idea.

Way too many threads if we follow that idea. Two is pushing it, three is excessive.
I will base the OT off of Darko's off topic/recruitment thread for space hulk (also when the char sheets are posted they will probably be up within a few minuits because for me thats easy to do.)
this here will be the actual battles/talking between the charachters, as well as the full roster.
(a thread for each faction would have the MODS after my blood.)
Player: Yeroc500 or is this the faction then Chaos marines
Character: Marduk of the Word Bearers
height: 3cm
Weapons/gear: Daemon weapon, bolt pistol, evil crozius arcanum, power armor, helmet of the warmonger (allows use of the warp)
age: 2 years
Summary: After reading the dark series, the nerd created a Marduk model. He has lived all his life gaining dust with the other Word Bearers, because the nerd never plays Chaos. They are currently located in the garage in a KR multi case. Marduk recently came into being and is now planning his revenge on the nerd. Once he gets out of the box that is.
Marduk pounded on the inside of the KR multi case. "Kol-Badar burn threw the wall with your melta", Marduk said to the terminator. "That might work." The terminator growled and shot his combi-melta at the wall. It crumbled from the super-heated beam. Suddenly all the meltas in the army had opened up on the boxes walls. They crumbled. Marduk laughed. "Call up the transports the fall is a big one. The Rhino`s and landraiders drove across the huge KR multicase. The marines filed in and the vehicles drove off the ledge onto another box followed by another until it hit the ground. The stormravens flew from the box with their dreadnought cargo. They made several runs carrying those who didnt have a ride and the dreadnoughts. The daemons all materialized on the ground next to Marduk`s Icon bearer Burias. All 304. Two squads of CSM were thrown back by the sudden entrance of the daemons. Marduk laughed some more. He put his hand on Kol-Badar`s shoulder, "See I told you we`d make it. you`re getting senile old man. Hopefully I wont have to replace you." Kol-Badar threw the hand off his shoulder and walked off to join the annoited.
Mark Norman woke up and rubbed his bleary eyes. Tumbling out of bed he staggered to the hall and into the bathroom. Looking into the mirror a tired face looked back, after combing his mop of jet-black hair into a presentable form, putting on his bathrobe and heading into the kitchen mark put on his glasses and waited for his tea to heat up. Outside it was a grey, overcast day. Just like Mark liked.
What mark did not like was the sounds of the TV coming from the rec room. Walking downstairs on the thick wall to wall red carpet that covered both the stairs and the rec room he looked over the edge of the wooden stair-bars
He stared. On his couch stood his commissar yarrick mini, screaming orders at a leman russ tank dragging a remote.
several chimeras were carrying books and a trio of shoeboxes and a deathstrike missil launcher was carting around a large amount of plastic
bases.
The boxes were laid opened but down and several troops began to cut into them with meltas. The boxes were arranged in a U shape with the tops being dragged away by a trio of sentinels and placed on top of small stacks of books, making several ‘outposts’ around the table. A pair of basilisk artillery moved into each of the three tops and deployed. The sentinels began to do other tasks.
On each roof of the cardboard boxes was set a heavy weapon, one heavy bolter, one missile launcher and one mortar.
At this point Mark’s brain caught up with him. “umm…umm…gah” were the words that left his mouth.
Unfortunately the commissar heard it too.
“Well crap.” Mumbled Mark as the commissar stared at him.
Marduk`s scout jumped down the garage stairs. "Dark apostle, Mark has awaken and noticed a group of imperial guard being led by Commisar Yarrick", the scout told Marduk. Marduk nodded. "Lets move", he said to Kol-Badar. Kol-Badar issued the order and the army slowly climbed the stairs. They walked into the rec-room. Mark was standing wide-eyed at the sight. The imperial guard had set up a base already with outposts around it. "Dammit, Kol-Badar we must set up a base. Back men! Back", Marduk yelled. His army turned around and went back into the garage. Mark had turned and looked at the little sounds of the CSM army moving. Marduk didnt notice and followed his army back into the garage. "Kol-Badar I give you 6 hours to bbuild a better base. Now move my warlord, times ticking, the gods dont like being stalled", Marduk said to Kol-Badar and walked off to go and look at the schematics of the house.
Major Kern was busy riding atop his command tank: A gigantic machine of the Omnissiah's wrath, a Stormblade named "Judge and Jury" slowly scanning the jungle before him with his binoculars. Behind him came the third battalion of the 145th Krieg Heavy Siege Regiment. The forces under his command stretched out hundreds of yards and included many makes and types of vehicles. Dust was churned by his tank's giant treads as the men behind him trudged along, also kicking up dirt with their boots, wheels, and other treads. All of his men had been on alert since they had entered the jungle as they made their way to their designated deployment post on the other side.
"Major, sir." Someone called from below him. The major looked down into his turret where a man with his trademark gas mask looked up at him. The man proffered the major with a vox phone which he took.
"Kern here." He stated from behind his own leering skull gas mask.
"Sir, Kyerzak here." Stated the familiar voice of the Major's Commissar from his own Chimera. "My vox officer reports massive auspex contacts dead ahead." He said in a calm voice. Kern looked to his own vox officer who was looking down at his own auspex and nodded to Kern before he responded.
"Roger that, Commissar, I have confirmed signals on my own, standby." Kern said coming back out of the tank's parapet and looking at the horizon with his binoculars. Frustratingly, there was little to see except for the undergrowth, Kern cursed under his breath. He switched his vox to a channel where all of his officer would here him.
"Sound off all units, any visual contact with anything? Hostiles? fauna of any type?"
The responses that came back to him frustrated him even more, nothing for visuals but the auspex clearly indicated something, a lot of somethings were there, if they went much further the contacts would be all around them.
"You orders sir?" Kyerzak asked over the vox, there was a pause as Kern thought over his options.
"Stop the convoy, all units full stop." He said over the vox, in a few moments, the convoy stopped at a complete halt.
"Change formation. Vehicles guarding the front and flanks then the grenadiers guarding the rear, all other troops protect the artillery. I repeat, at this time be prepared to face an attack from all sides."
There was a large amount of clanking and thumping of boots as the dour troops of the Krieg battalion realigned themselves behind their commander's tank. When they were done, Kern got the call on his vox.
"Battalion ready to move at your orders, sir."
Satisfied, Kern ordered the group to move out and prayed that they would be able to make it to the other side of this Emperor forsaken jungle without suffering too many casualties...
"Kern to all units, I want a constant three sixty degree vigilance on our perimeter, anything not wearing a mask better not get within twenty meters of the convoy, understood?"
The responses, as Kern had expected, came back promptly and in the affirmative, satisfied, Kern went back to watching the front of the advance...
Yarrik gazed up at the man in front of him.
"Well don't just stand their, tell me who was that behind you?"
Mark told him about the Chaos Marine army.
"Chaos scum? You paid for Chaos forces??? Men, open fire! Purge the heretic! I suppose next you bought overpriced Orks from some tyrant!"
"I kind of did...they're in the garden..." muttered Mark as the weapons turned to face him. A las-bolt hit him in the eye and he ran away screaming.
"Alright men. First company, let's head for the garden. The rest of you keep watch here, and if needed head to the attic. Oh, not now you imbeciles! Grey's Anatomy is starting!
Vio looked at the reports. outside in the great green jungle there were reports of orks and masked humans.he thought of the possibility of helping them but he knew it was a lost cause. the another way led down a giant stairs and climbing was not the taus strong suit. good thing they had the tanks, although it would be tedious to get everyone down. the only other option led past the living room, and there was no way he was going to sneak an army by all those humans.plus the giant color giver (get it?painter ) had run out of there screaming holding his eye. so if it wasent safe for a giant, then who was it safe for. "i wonder how easily the color giver would come over to the grater good. "
"shas'o'vio,we found the food you wanted." turning to the XV12 suit, vio asked
"really? were?"
"in the giant white box. its cold in there but filled with all kinds of giant human food. although its very hard to get around in there."
"very good.start passing out supplies.oh,and how did you even get in?" he couldnt tell, but he thought the young tau was smiling.
"we had one of the hammerheads blow a hole in the front door thing."
"very good. move along to distributing that food now."as the XV12 left, vio returned to putting attention back to planning,he couldn't help but think of how he awoke. he was on the counter (island?) in a case. as he shot his way out along with his men he came to find out he was on the bottom case next to the white box shooting its side. it took an hour to get out,and another 2 to get organized and help a few others out. "well,i think we should stay hear for now. set up defenses and send out more scouts. i want to know more about every place we can go.and i want them back in an hour o an hour 30 or they will be thought dead."
Mark rubbed his eye for the tenth time in as many seconds. What the HELL was going on here? The sound of automatic weapons fire coming from his guest room was not a welcome sound. Picking up and loading his BB gun he stormed in.
US marines in drab desert camo were taking cover from arrows behind Bradley fighting vehicles and HMMWV transports, while moria goblins streamed down from the massive moria board and attacked them.
The bellowing and harsh war-crys of uruk-hai was punctuated by the ‘pop!’ of bolters. Where the troops of isengard and the sisters of battle were slaughtering each other in a middle eastern town.
Scowling. Mark raised his airsoft gun and fired into the mass of goblins, tearing five of them apart.
The room went very quiet.
One of the delta force commandoes spoke first “Holy s**t! First goblins and now giants? Where are we?”
The orcs and goblins started running as fast as they could while the uruk-hai began bowing and scraping. Mark realized that he was wearing his “isengard” bathrobe.
Outside it began to pour.
The sisters of battle gasped when they saw him and started arguing whether he was a saint, a deamon or a xeno.
“Hey man, what the f***k is going on?” asked a USMC infantryman.
From within the dusty old box the dusty old Zoat King fought to get out.
He telepathically cursed the box to his fellow models. "May it burn on a Daemon world!" He telepathically
screamed to his subordinates. One Flamer-wielding comrade obliged.
"What's that smell?" Mark wondered aloud. "Wait... It's smoke!"
“CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!” screamed mark as he charged through the kitchen into the basement, accidentally trampling a pair of sentry drones.
Running downstairs and throwing the pantry door open, the exhausted teen found several of his uncles old zoat army rampaging about setting fire to a box. “WHAT THE F**K?” he screamed and began flinging them about to get them out of his food storage area, when a fleshborer fired a glittering stream of borer beetles at his hand. “Aarrgg!” He howled and flattened the zoat responsible for the bug bites. The rest of them fled into the musty recesses of the rat tunnels below the boiler. As an afterthought, Mark sprayed RAID down the hole and placed a brick on top but knew that they would get out somehow.
“Heretic!” came the cry from the coffee table. Yarrick was screaming at a character on the TV. Mark had no idea what the show was, but he snuck up behind the couch with his back to the garage door and reaching over. He plucked Yarrick from his seat on a leman russ, yanked off the commisars power claw, and violently shook him about, bellowing “MY HOUSE! MY RULES!”
vio stared at the color giver as he ran down the great stairs and then came back up. as he went back to the map they had drawn on a yellow peel which was turning brown annoyingly fast,he heard the color giver yell something bout house and rules. "odd.well, everything here is odd. also go find us better map martial"as the pathfinders ran off,vio got an idea. "you see this room?" looking at the map, vios commanders replyed
"yes, its smaller than the rest.what is it?"
"i dont know, but it seems more defendeble. me and 1 kroot team,1 hound team, both human teams, and the vespid team are going to go capture it."
"yes shas'o'vio...but you sure you dont want to take more?"
"ill call if i need more.the scouts say there is a giant round chair in there, bet the humans are spending alot of time in there." as vio gathered his things and his crew, they were dropped off by the hammerheads on the ground. walking out of the kitchen and to the bottom of the stairs, vio gulped. "this is gonna be one heck of a climb." as they climbed a few stairs, vio thought he heard something, but when nothing showed up,they continued. as they were almost at the top,vio heard a bark. looking down at the bottom of the stairs, there was a huge dog there looking at him."...climb faster men! fast, fast fast!" as they got to the top and rushed for the small room,he heard the beast catching up. "weres the color giver when you need him to stomp something?!"
(we really need a map.please make one on paint or something.)
ineptus astartes wrote:sure. I dont know how to post maps to dakka though

Marduk watches as a stormraven slowly nudges a button on a remote. A huge door opens up on the far side of the garage. "Hahahahaahaha, You were wrong Kol-Badar, it did open the big door. Now I`m taking a landraider and a squad of annoited with me, we`re going to go scout the area. Also I want two scout squads to set up outside the garage", Marduk said to the warlord. Kol-Badar grunted and started giving out orders. "Actually just a squad of havocs and a stormraven. I want an airiel view", Marduk said. The stormrave that had opened the door now came andlanded in front of Marduk. It had the Chapter House extension to make it look more realistic. The Dark Apostle boarded the stormraven, along the 217th Havoc squad under Namrie-san. "Pilot we`re in take off", the warrior brother gave a thumbs up and the stormraven took off. "Now take us around the yard. I want to scope it out", Marduk ordered. the stormraven took off and circle the yard. Suddenly las-fire peppered the outside. Underneath was a Death corps regiment. "Feth, get us out of here. Namrie fire a few las-cannons down at them", Marduk yelled. "Alright Dark Apostle. Sacarth fire on one of their vehicles", Namrie orders. The marine opens a hatch and fires. A vehicles tread is ripped off. "Nice shot now pilot get us out of here", Marduk yells to be heard over the wind.
so: the top left cornor is the kitchen with entcances to the back yard, and basment on its top, and left side respectivly.
below that is the dining room containing a dining table, chairs, and a bookshelf cluttered with magazines, mail, fruits, pictures, and plants
the room to the right of that is the living room with a couch, two chairs, a bookshelf, another bookshelf, a closet (bottom right) and a rug. along with the front door (bottom center) and the stairs to the 2nd story (top)
to the right of that, is the sunroom, with two couches a recliner, a pair of bookshelves (mid left) a table (bottom right) rugs, a chest, (mid right side) and a little temple to shiva/vishnu/bramah that my nepali grandparents made in a cupboard
Marduk wacthed the side yard come into view. He saw wierd things flying next to the stormraven. The mounted turret shot thing and it squaked. It`s wing shot out it fell to the ground. "Pilot land us next to the thing. We need food and it`ll be perfect for that and as a sacrifice", marduk said. The stormraven landed next to the thing. It gripped it in its clamps and carried it back to the garage. It was still alive and pecked at the stormraven. It put little dents in the armor, but nothing else. They dropped the thing on the ground next to the WIP base. The host roared at the sight of a sacrifice to the gods. (And food) Marduk stepped off the stormraven and went searching for Kol-Badar.
after having subdued the commissar by locking him and his troops in the downstairs bathroom and getting the uruk-hai (who were convinced that he was their god, a fallen Mia) to guard the exit. He trudged wearily upstairs. He stopped to get a drink at the sink and sat back on the kitchen stool while rain poured off the windows (IT IS RAINING PLAYERS, REMEMBER THAT) he took a long gulp and lowered the glass. He then proceeded to spew the water onto the island in front of him.
There were tau on the table, watching him intently. “Mark was about to scream, but then just sighed set down the water glass, looked at the tau, said , “Behave!” and stomped into the living room were an tanith scout and a chaos marine scout were locked in mortal combat on the mantelpiece.
Taking a deep breath, Mark picked up a fire poker and grabbed them. Quickly flinging them onto the couch he pretended not to notice a group of Gue’vesa, kroot, and a tau commander sneak upstairs. And looking at his two captives he raised his fire poker menacingly.
Both hardened soldiers simultaneously pointed a finger at the other and hollered “He started it!”
Mark facepalmed.
“He started it?” began Mark “is that all you have to say?” “No.” grumbled the world bearer. “He’s also a corpse worshiping fool.” The tanith scout clubbed the marine over his chaotic head with a lasrifle. “Well you’re Atlas!” he screamed. “that’s IT!” replied the world bearer “I am SICK of these Atlas jokes!” the tanith scout began chanting. “World Bearer! World Bearer!”
Mark was fed up. He picked them both up again and walked up the stairs. Skipping a set so as to not squash the tau. Who were using grappeling hooks to get up each stair. Walking into the bathroom, Mark held the tiny soldiers above the toilet bowl.
(OOC: @ Yeroc *shakes fist* Darn you chaos folk and your flying machines!
But I would appreciate it if you would refrain from telling my Death Korps when to fire in the future.)
"Halt convoy!" Kern shouted as the enemy craft flew away swiftly. "Damn." He said to himself and got down from his Stormblade to figure out what had gone wrong. Before his feet even touched the ground, he could see some officers gathered around the bottom of the ladder.
"Report!" Kern commanded with authority as the officers saluted. It was beginning to rain and as such the ground was becoming a soggy mush, Kern smiled at that, that was one thing at least that reminded him of home; mud...
"Sir, that craft blew a hole in my tank, no casualties but it will take a few minutes for the engineers and the cogboy to fix it up."
"Any other tanks hit?"
"No sir, the engineers say they'll be done in twenty minutes."
"Tell them they have ten, we need to keep---" At that, Kern was cut off by his vox officer who was right behind him.
"Sir, Commissar Kyerzak reports contacts!" Just as he said that, the unmistakable chatter of weapons fire could be heard on the other side of the convoy. Kern grabbed his bolt pistol and was off, his command squad and grenadier guard behind him.
"Get that tank fixed and set up a perimeter! Anything that comes out of the jungle, shoot it! And tell the Hydras they'd better not miss the next flyby!" Kern yelled to his officers as he ran. He got there as the firing stopped however and was pleased to see his men mopping up.
"Report!" He yelled so all could hear him, his Commissar was the one to answer.
"Greenskins sir, dealt with rather hastily I might add."
"How many?"
"Perhaps only a single mob, a dozen maybe more, Offel is burning their corpses right now." The Commissar said as a trooper with a flamer stepped up and started to immolate the green corpses
"Good."
"Oh and, sir, there's something else you might want to see..." Kyerzak said, leading the Major towards a large mound behind the greenskins.
"They were trying to drag this around before they saw us."
Kern looked at the great mound of fur, it was obviously some sort of animal but it was simply massive.
"What is it?" He asked.
"From the looks of it sir, I'd say its a rodent."
"The size of a Leman Russ?" Kern asked rhetorically. "And I thought the trench rats back home were bad..." Just then, the Major's vox officer chimed in.
"The engineers report they've almost finished, also there have been reports of rather large insects on the perimeter, they say dozens of six legged bugs the size of dogs came at the line, they've been repelled, no casualties."
"This jungle just keeps getting stranger, I'll thank the Emperor when we're out of it." Kern said shaking his head. He started to march back to his tank.
"Kyerzak, get the men rallied and back into formation, we're leaving in no less than three minutes." Kern ordered and didn't bother to wait for the Commissar to affirm his command, he just saluted and walked back to his Stormblade.
"Move like you've got a purpose men! The deployment zone is only an hour or so's march away!" Kern shouted as he strode through the convoy.
"Woah Woah Woah, great man put me down. Its the will of the chaos gods. I`m sure they told you daemon prince. Its the will of the gods that this pathetic man dies. He attacked me while I was scouting the area. He ambushed me. The corpse worshipping whoeson", the chaos scout said.
OOC: Sorry but it would have been something your men would have done. I didnt want to make them seem defenceless, being Death corps my favorite guard regiment. Anyways.
IC: Marduk got the sub-vocal vox message from his scout about the great daemon prince. "Appease him and the gods will spare you", Marduk voxed back to the scout.
Lieutenant Dan Shatner of the 75th ranger battalion scoped out the terrain. He remembered going to sleep last night after a short raid on an Al-Qeda weapons stockpile. Then. Waking up here. He was scoping out a massive expanse of desert. And the biggest house he had seen in his thirty-year old life reared up in the distance.
Wherever they were, it wasn’t the earth he knew. His troops had woken up just inside a jungle his little bird chopper and blakhawk circled at a low patrol vector sweeping the yard and returning every twenty minutes he had with his a single platoon of rangers. And HMMWVs enough to carry them all if need be. He looked up. The desert was getting wet with a sparse rain. But it would stay hard, cracked, earth. His men were digging foxholes and smoking cigarettes while they took breaks every know and then. A few minutes ago a massive swarm of ants the size of dogs had appered. And attacked ranger Stranahan when he had put his foot in their hole.
“Alright! Were movin’ out! Hooah?” he hollered. The reply came instantly “Hooah!” as the troops mounted up in the humvees the gunners swung their 50. Cal HMGs in arcs, scanning the sparse desert. “check your gear! No shitbagging!” he ordered, and got into the passenger seat on the lead Humvee. “Take us in.”
The convoy moved on, the rain slowly picking up and causing the treads to be absolutely covered in mud. As the troops trudged along or rode in the back of chimeras or Centaurs, their boots also began to acquire a heavy amount of mud. Kern, above the rest of the convoy on his Stormblade's parapet, had to keep rubbing his binoculars to clear them of the mist that was rising. Every few minutes, there was sporadic firing on the line as more greenskins or native fauna came towards the perimeter line. Already, the men had shot a large amount of giant sized insects and arachnids that had gotten too close. There had been no casualties so far in these engagements, but Kern knew it was only a matter of time before their luck ran out.
"Siegehammer to Eagle Command, over." He tried for the fifth time that hour trying to get imperial command on the line. "I say again, Siegehammer to Eagle Command, do you copy?" Again, no answer, only static greeted him.
"Sorry sir, but there's simply no signal, its like command just disappeared." His vox man said below him, turning nobs and listening in on his own headset. Kern just grumbled to himself and went back to watching the line. Fortunately, in the past half hour, the auspex contacts had thinned out as more and more fauna were felled to the Death Korps' advances. The Major cursed the thickness of this jungle, they had had to use the hellhounds twice already to clear a path through the vegetation...
But it seemed that their troubles were over...Kern could just make out the other side of the jungle through his scope, he couldn't really see what was on the other side but he could at least see the jungle's treeline from here.
"All units be advised, we're about to enter new terrain, I repeat, the jungle is beginning to thin, be on your guard." Just as he finished saying that, his vox officer prodded him.
"Sir! Auspex contacts, directly ahead! All other officers confirm!"
"Greenskins?" Kern asked.
"No sir, it appears to be....human sir, several small vehicles and they appear to have light air support as well."
"How far out?" Kern asked, his mind racing...
"Well..."
"Can we make it to the treeline before they come into range?"
"Yes sir, we should be able to..."
"Have the convoy spread out and take up firing positions on the treeline, we're going to meet them abreast, get the hydras aimed at those air assets."
"Yes sir." The vox officer said, relaying the Major's orders through his vox.
"And Corporal, make sure nobody fire's a shot unless I give the word, understood? I'll not have a blue on blue situation if it turns out the contacts are friendly."
"Yes sir!" The vox officer said as the convoy moved on.
Kern watched through his binoculars as his convoy broke the treeline and began setting up defenses. The land was clear before them and Kern smiled as he looked out at it.
"Ah the glorious no man's land, just like home eh?" He said to his vox officer.
"Just like it sir." The man replied.
The forces that now came towards them were small compared to their own, small recon cars held troops of men holding autogun like weapons. Ornithopter like vehicles circled overhead, being followed closely by the convoy's hydras.
"They don't look like guard, but they don't look like rebels or heretics either..." Said Kern's voxman.
"Strange indeed." Kern said under his breath, waiting for the opposing force's response.
Andrew and his squad ran as quick as they could across the harsh white tiles of the kitchen. The man to his left, Thomas, spotted a cabinet under the sink, and he and his men dashed to it. They could hear the sounds of conflict of ways, and the sounds of a swearing man. He gathered hit team around the door of the cabinet, and gave the order to pull. A moment passed as their efforts did nothing, then the door creaked open less than willfully. He and his men hopped inside, and propped the door open with a small box of garbage bags.
"What now, Sergent?" Jeremy asked, his voice rasp and fearful under his mask.
Anthony thought for a moment.
"We need to hook up with any other Guard forces in the area. Derick, set up the vox-caster. See if you can get a lock on a signal."
Derick complied, pulling the big vox of his back, pulling up the antenna. Anthony looked around, and thought he had heard a noise.
"Leo, Thomas, Jeremy, with me. Alex, David, you stay and guard Derick while he gets a signal."
He pulled his team together, and tracked through towers of spray and huge boxes of chemicals.
Yarrick scowled.
They had been locked in this forsaken basement for an hour now. As they were heading downstairs, the accursed Giant had spotted them and in his rage, he had thrown them in the lowest dungeons. But Yarrik had made it out of trickier spots before, and a Marauder wing from the attic (or "Halls of the Dead", as Yarrik believed them to be) was en route. Lifting his mouthpiece to his face, Yarrick yelled in to the vox.
"Airmen, where the feth are you? You were meant to be here an hour ago!"
"Sorry Sir, but the giant and a group of Xenos were at the foot of the stairs. We had to return and head out the window, and we've spotted a small window at the base of the building-we believe it is at the top of the dungeons. If we blast it open, will you have a ramp ready to head out? It leads directly in to the garden, however. The place is crawling with greenskins and what appear to be traitor humans. Thankfully, a force of Kriegsmen are stationed nearby and could use some back up."
"Roger that, Captain. We'll build a ramp. Now get to it!"
After 20 minutes, a ramp consisting of a few chairs, tables and soiled underwear was ready, leading up to the small window. At the base, the Armaggedoners stood ready. The Marauders dropped their payload, and a shower of glass rained down upon them.
"Good work, men! Now let's move out!"
The force ascended the ramp quickly, eager to taste Greenskin blood. As they reached the top, a voice crackled over the Vox.
"Any loyalist forces in the area, we require help in the kitchen! We are under attack!"
Yarrik answered back immediately.
"Hang tight. Armaggedon forces are heading to your location now, arriving in approximately 25 minutes."
He changed the frequency of the vox, then spoke again.
"Armaggedon 259th, 3rd Platoon, this is Lord Commissar Yarrik. Allied forces require help. Set Grey's Anatomy to record and head down to the kitchen. Oh, and while you're at it, add House to that list. God I love my House."
With that, the heroes of Armaggedon charged up the ramp, and out in to the pouring rain.
vio was running as fast as he could. he and his crew were almost there, and hopefully safe from the beast. as they enterd the small room, they saw the color giver standing in front of the round chair holding something. as vio heard the barking behind him,he and his crew ran and climbed onto the color givers shoe. as the beast entered, vio yellled "for the greater good!" and they open fired on the thing. as he was firing,he heard his com being called and answered. "yes?"
"we just saw a small group of humans hide in a very nearby cave thing,it would be easier than betrayal to close that door on them, plus we out number them greatly."
"then do it. try to not kill them unless they fire 1st." as the man awnsered and the com died, vio looked and then almost fell over as he saw the dog right infront of him.looking to his side,he saw an escape. "up that hole in the color givers fur!"
Mark was flipping out. He had just learned that vengeful world bearers where in the garage. When several tau entered being chased by shorty, one of his dogs ‘thank god sandy is staying with mom at the moment.’ He thought as he shook his shoe and the last kroot fell out. “what were you doing?!?” he hollered at the tau.
He needed to go downstairs and evict the traitor astartes from his garage and now a bunch of communist frogs. And killer chickens had scrambled into his shoes. Said commie frogs and killer chickens were gathered on his desk. “wait here.” He said. “I have some pest control to take care of.”
EVENT COMES NEXT
ALONG WITH A NEW ALLIE FOR MARK: NAME: 'THE ANGRIEST'
PLAYER EVENT ONE: EVICTION This event will be concerning the removal of Marduk from the garage and into an aria of his choosing outsid, in front or back yard.
Mark had questioned the scout and the tanith guard and typed them up and put them in his medicine cabinet. After emptying it of course. He had wrapped the Chaos Marine in lots of duct tape just in case.
Mark had armed himself in earnest this time. In one pocket was a can of RAID with a lighter taped on. (He did not want to use that.) and in the other was his BB gun. While in his left hand he carried a super-soaker that was pumped up as high as it could go while his trusty fire poker was in his right. Storming through the kitchen and to the garage door he unlocked it and charged in. the first thing he hit while flailing wildly with the poker was a stormraven, arriving in the garage. A land raider shot towards him and he shot it away with the water-cannon “wish I had filled this with Lysol.” He mumbled to himself. Firing into the ludicrous amount of traitor astartes he began stomping. The ‘crunch’ of breaking power armor was abundant in the room. Until they opened fire. The pain was awful.
Running out of the room and flattening some thirty daemons he kicked a bloodthirster into a wall where it dissipated. when he was out he slammed the door. the hiss of melta fire cut through the silence. Lighting then tying down the lighter so it burned without him needing to hold it down he flung open the garage door and grabbed his nail gun which they thankfully had not noticed. Slamming the door again he lugged in and turned on the power tool. And flung open the door again. When he hurled the can of volatile liquids into the room with a burning lighter strapped to them he waited until it rolled into a large group before taking aim and firing the nail gun. The tool sent a single nail blasting out of the muzzle. And punching through the can of RAID the contents turned gaseous and wafted to the flame in a matter of seconds. Mark dived to the side as the makeshift bomb detonated like a hand grenade and a massive fireball went up.
As he heard the shrapnel stop flying he looked in. it seemed that the large force of chaos marines had fled to the side yard and over the driveway into street. Of course it was miles of territory for them and it would take tham a long time. Hours to get to the back or front door. through the unmowed grass. ‘
Major Kern marveled as the supposed leader of the human forces in front of them walked up towards his Stormblade, apparently unphased at its size and yelled up to him.
“GOOD! MORNING! DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?”
Kern looked at his command squad. "It seems they speak gothic at least, but does anyone know what he meant by 'English?'"
All Kern got was shrugs and shaking heads.
"Maybe its a dialect sir? They do seem to have rather strange accents." One of the engineers replied.
"Perhaps they are local PDF? Reports said their forces were in the area." Kyerzak interjected.
"Well they seem to be friendly enough, lets go meet them shall we?" Kern said as his men began climbing down from the tank.
"Everyone hold position and hold fire, command squad and Herman's grenadiers on me." Kern began ordering as he walked forward to the human soldier.
"Yes sir." Came the response.
"Konarski?" Kern said to one of his command squad.
"Sir?"
"The colors please."
"Yes sir." The trooper said, unfurling the regimental banner and marching along behind Kern as his command squad and the squad of grenadiers crowded around him. Kern came to face the human who just seemed content to watch the procession. Slowly, Kern's hands came up to his face and gently took the obscuring mask off his face and revealing the human face behind it.
"Major Jakob Kern, One forty fifth Krieg, the Emperor's own Imperial guard." He said formally introducing himself. The human soldier, clad in strange uniform and gear, looked blankly at the figures before him.
Commissar Kyerzak was the one to respond next. "When a superior officer introduces himself it is protocol for his inferiors to salute him and introduce themselves as well." He said annoyed, his hand going to his hellpistol at his side.
while waiting for the color giver to come back as to avoid his giant anger, vio called home camp."did you trap those humans?"
"yesir, and from the sounds they are not happy we moved there box." smiling a little vio look off the edge of the desk.
"ok,keep me posted if anything changes." hanging up,vio climbs to his feet. "dang, were is the color giver?"
“Well with respect ‘sir’ it does not seem to me that you’re MY commanding officer”
said a somewhat miffed Shatner. Showing the. ‘Mess with the best, die like the rest’ badge on his shoulder, under the American flag he asked “you from England?” he asked. “And who is this ‘emperor’ of yours.? I didn’t think there were any emperors left in Twenty-Eleven.”
without waiting for a response he pointed at the super-heavy tanks in front of the line. “That’s some serious armor your packing, gonna blow up a few continents are ya?”
Squinting at the massive tank Shatner called the armor expert, a man named Michal Dearborne. “hey mike, you recognize that armor?”
The young man looked at the tank for a moment “no, sir.”
(note: Shatner has a standard east coast American accent ie: wshington DC)
Mark walked upstairs and into his room. Sitting down on his bed he began to bandage his bolter’ed legs. “damn chaos.” He muttered before noticing the tau again. “oh. Yeah. I have a question”
“Yes?”
“Why the hell are you here?”
Anthony led his team of three in the dark city of detergent and drain fluid. He light up a torch light and descended deeper into the cabinet. He heard an insect chitter near the end of the cabinet, and had Leo advance. Leo took fifteen full steps ahead, caught between a can of Lysol and a bottle of Febreeze. He turned left, then right, and finally turned to give the clear when it struck. A shiny black flash, and Leo was shoved out of view screaming. Jeremy and Thomas advanced, and took up position where Leo had stood, and opened fire with their hellguns on something just behind the Lysol, out of sight. Anthony advanced to their position, just as he caught sight of three more creatures, giant roaches, enter from a corner in the rear of the cabinet. He opened fire, seven las shots tearing open the first. The second roach leaped before he could react, but was swiftly shredded by hellgun fire from behind the Lysol, Leo. The third had been some how smarter, and veered around and his Thomas from the side. Thomas was ready for this, however, and grabbed the roach by the mandibles, twisting his torso as he did, and threw it into the Febreeze, where the volume of fire from three hellguns pinned it to the wall and tore it open and apart.
"Leo!" Anthony called, swiftly dodging between his squad members and tearing around the corner of the Lysol. Leo was fine, only minor bumbs from the harsh landing, with the torn corpse of the roach beside him. Anthony sighed his relief, then regained his composure.
"Alright," he said. "Let's get back to the others, see if they managed a signal."
With that, he and his squad retraced back to the others, Hellguns raised in anticipation this time.
vio replied "well color giver,i dont know why. i awoke in some black box and shot my way out. now we care mearly trying to survive, and hopefully all the giant food from the white box will help us for awhile. oh,and maybe those humans we locked in that cave can tell us were to get water...may we leave now?"
Yarrick looked out upon the wet grass.
Though the rain obscured his vision, a good pair of bino's and a strong flashlight gave him a clear view of the events.
It seemed the Kriegsmen were confronting the odd-looking soldiers. Picking up his megaphone, he yelled out:
"Soldiers of Krieg, this is Lord Commissar Yarrick and the Armaggedon 259th. We wish to aid you in your purge of Xenos and Heretics. I believe a Major Kern commands this battle group. May I speak to him?"
Yarrik was told to go meet him and the leader of the strange humans. As soon as he met him, he asked the leader a single question.
"Do you respond to the call-to-arms of the God Emporer of Mankind, and wish nothing more than to lay down your life in His service?"
A moment of pause, and then muffled laughter.
"Do I what to the what?"
There was a moment of shocked silence, before 500 Imperial Guardsmen reached for their weapons at once.
as the tau left he realized that the minis themselves had come to life. he KNEW he shouldn't have accepted that can of paint from that chinese guy on the street.
this was turning out just like some damn thread on dakka...
ineptus astartes wrote:nice. roaches are a pain. bout the size of surfboards to those guys right?
Just throwing in some action for my guys until someone wants me for their Guard army. I don't like having a big army, so I just stuck with 6 REALLY skilled and tough guys. That OK?

You could join the platoon heading to you, responding to your distress signal. You could act as an independent commando arm of it.
We just need to explain what you were fighting when Yarrik recieved a distress call. Panicking during the Giant Roach attack?
With each word that came out of the man's mouth, Kyerzak became more and more agitated. Finally with that last quip about the Emperor he became quite furious.
"You dare to blaspheme against the master of Mankind?!?!" He said incredulously, pulling out his hellpistol and beginning to aim it at the human. Kern stopped him with a wave of his hand, all of the human soldiers behind the man began aiming their own weapons, Kern's men began to aim theirs, Kern quickly realized a single shot could ignite a firefight that would see them all dead.
"Commissar..." He began in an authoritative tone. "Please go make sure the men are kept in line, I will remind you that no shots are to be fired unless I give the order."
"Yes, Major." The Commissar said holstering his pistol and turning to leave. Kern watched him go and turned back to the soldier. He regarded him for a moment and decided a simpler approach might work.
"I apologize for my Commissar's quick temper, but it seems we have had a misunderstanding. I command the third battalion of my regiment and no we are not from this planet you call England, we hail from Krieg in service to Terra and the Imperium of man."
Kern turned towards the Stormblade as the human officer, or so he presumed him to be an officer, pointed to it. "That, my friend is a gift from the Mechanicus, an engine of war designed with the express purpose of killing, A beauty is she not?"
A moment of silence passed between the two.
"But I'm afraid I cannot delay here any longer, I have orders to deploy my forces in this zone and we have yet to reach a defendable area. I'm afraid I haven't gotten your name or rank yet though..."
Before the two could talk any further, He was alerted to a rather large force of other imperial guard coming up on his flank, they were steel legion and were lead by none other than Commissar Yarrick himself who asked the human very bluntly if he served the Emperor...
When the man answered unsurely, many troops became very very wary of these humans who were vastly outnumbered.
"And so the misunderstanding grows..." Was all Kern managed to say, now very confused...
as vio entered the kitchen he was happy to see the floating island ad some defenses and barricades up. he looked over to see 2 broadsides holding the cave closed. as he and his men were lifted up onto the island, vio told his commanders what had happened.
"so...there is some giant beast running about now..ill tell everyone to be on alert now." as the warrior ran off,vio sat back and reviewed the new map drawn on some soft paper (napkins) they had found.
"are next move will be-why is it kinda cold?"
"its the hole in the white boxits letting out very cold air."
"huh, well anyways get those broadsides some help,i want to get those humans in that cave alive." as he looked over to the cave about 2 minutes later, the broadsides opened the cave and 1 team of pathfinders,3 broadsides (including the 2),2 kroot rider teams, and 1 warrior team aimed in and said "dont move or we shhot all of you! come out were we can see you!"
Anthony and his team met no more resistance on the way back. A good thing, as these Hellguns were awful to ammo and parts. The rest of his team was right where he left them, except Derick had his helmet off, his bald head wet with sweat and face grim. Anthony approached optimistically.
"What did you get, Derick?"
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, slightly lost for words.
"Well, sir, two things. One, I put out a signal, and a Guard regiment said they'd stop by."
Anthony nodded slowly.
"And the other?" he asked, less sure now.
Derick took on a pained expression.
"Well sir, Tau locked us in."
Anthony was dumbstruck.
"Repeat that for me."
"Tau forces locked us in, sir. Saw them, but before I could react, they pushed the door closed. We tried to push it open, but they're holding it fast."
Anthony had had enough for today. He pulled out two melta bombs and tossed them to Leo.
"Set those, trooper. Don't prime 'em yet. On the door, near the hinges. Rest of you, grab some cover, and get ready. You know what to do."
His men nodded and took up cover positions behind any box or bag the could find, save for the Lysol. He himself held the trigger for the bombs. All he needed now was a chance. As if on que, the door opened, and in stepped Tau forces. Substantial, including Kroot mercs and battle suits. His men didn't need an order, they snapped down in there cover, out of sight.
He hit the button.
The melta-bombs did their magic, the door creaked as hinges melted, then fell. He wasn't enough to hurt the forces out side, a spare suit outside easily propping it, but it was enough. The fire team, kroot, and suits turned their attention, only the pathfinders keeping their stance. Anthony shouted the order, and his men dashed out of their cover, descending back into the cabinet. The pathfinders left no time to spare, pulse carbines screaming over their heads as they slowly advanced. A moment later, the other Tau caught on, rail-guns and kroot rifles snapping into action. Behind him, Anthony saw his men return fire, dropping a few kroot and fire warriors. Leo jumped suddenly, a rail-gun shout narrowly missing him. The pause was enough for a sharp shot to catch his arm, as Leo screamed in pain. He didn't slow down however, and merely switched his hellgun to the other hand. They turned a corner, out of sight of the Tau, for now.
“Leutnant Daniel Shatner.” Said the Ranger. “75 united states Rangers battalion. Scout convoy.” He searched his pockets for his documented orders, then remembered he had used the paper as a rollup. “well my orders are to remove Al-queda presence from my area of fallujah province, wich was supposed to be a village named rajistan, but seems to be F****ing ‘Nam” as an afterthought he added “And this planets name Is Earth, England is a country name. your accent sounded english.” Turning to the other man he said “whoa! You’re eye…didn’t mom tell you not to play with sticks?”
(my pathfinder all have railgunsaka sniper like things)
as vio hit the ground and ran up to the fight,he yelled "how many casualties?"
"not many,2,3. another 1 or 2 injuries." slightly angry, vio yells.
"we gave you a chance to surrender and live, but now you must pay. open fire! bring a hammerhead and bomb them with grenades." pulling out to grenades, vio activates and tosses them in while he hears a tank coming in and sees heavy fire and grenades fly into the cave. "your mistake was firing 1st and not giving peace a chance. "
Kern regarded the man who introduced himself as a lieutenant, more importantly, he shared his orders with Kern, who, not seeing much that the two had in common language wise, but seeing no reason to treat them as hostile, simply shrugged.
"Well then, it seems our two forces have separate orders, I will wish you good luck on your mission as well as the Emperor's benevolence." He said turning back towards his forces.
"Commissar Yarrick, if you are done threatening the natives, we have a base to set up and some heretics to kill." He said to the Commissar as he returned to his tank.
And so, on Kern's orders, his men moved out past the small force of strange attired humans. Kern threw one last salute and the battalion moved out.
"Do you think that's the last of them we'll see?" Kyerzak asked.
"Possibly, maybe we'll end up fighting together one day, despite out confusion don't believe they were hostile." Kern answered as he retook his position at the top of his tank and continued looking out at the desert with his binoculars.
"... firing first, and not giving peace a chance." Anthony pulled his team back even further. For all there preaching of peace, the Tau were some of the worst foes, unless of course you were a Space Marine. He looked desperately for an exit, when he saw the hole. He imagined it was a tunnel some pest had made. He calmed down and turned to his men.
"Alright, here's the deal. We can make a stand and hope the Guard Regiment arrives to help, or we can try for that tunnel.
Jeremy piped in this time.
"I vote the tunnel, sir. If it leads anywhere, it leads to everywhere. Remember, like in the trenches of Kethes IV? Took me days to burn out the damn bugs."
The others nodded their agreement, and Anthony gave the order. One by one, his Stormtroopers, best of the best, piled into the hole to run. He himself jumped in as Leo paused. Leo then turned and started:
"You know what? Feth you Tau, talking about peace and gak with big ass guns pointed at our heads. You can take those railguns, and shove 'em up the hole and pull the trigger! HA!"
He then piled in the hole after Anthony. That would call for some disciplinary action.
(funny thing is,if you look at my troops,my island is still very well defended while he is completely overpowered )
Pffff... Imma Kasrkin. I balance my numbers and power. I'd prefer remembering my 6 superheroes than 5000 cannon fodder. Plus, I like the whole commando thing. Besides, I could have said the cabinet smashed all you troops, but I didn't
land warrior segeant Sam Darwin was surprised as the six men rounded the cornor and almost bumped into the SAW operator, Lawrence. But he raised his weapon anyways, “name and rank?” asked the supercommando slowly.
vio called for a stop of the attack and sent in 3 kroot. they came back and said that the humans had escaped through a tunnel.then one fainted form all the chemical fumes made by all the liquids they had blasted out of containers. "move back to the island, all those chemicals will stop them from using that entrance...unless they have gas masks." as vio landed on the island and grabbed some lunch,he looked around.they had a fully operational base and very good barricades set up. "let us hope were safe. everyone,be on alert.no scouting for now.stay on the island and await further command.anyone who comes in this room who is obviously not a friendly face, kill them."
“Land-warrior segeant Darwin. One-oh-one airborne” replied the trooper, scanning for a genetic match in the data files that contained every member of the US army with his flip out eye computer. No match came up. “I don’t know of any ‘kasrkin’ or canadian units here. But I’ll escort you to our firebase under the jurisdiction of the united states military force.”
I am gonna be online for about half an hour more then its bedtime (waking up time for some here...) so I will check in the morning (a few hours) after I go to bed.
"No time for that. I don't know you, I don't recognize your regiment, and I know for sure that the primitive stuff you're wearing ain't gonna help a bit against a railgun. So, if you don't mind, I'll have to deny your service. Unless of course, you can find another Imperial Guard force. In that case, I'll come."
Mark walked downstairs. He had gotten the amaricans and british troops into his room, but had heard gunfire from the kitchen. Storming in he saw the hole in the fridge. “what the hell?!?!!?” the cabinet door was melted off of his hinges. “wtf?” he asked the tau and said to him. “Moving base. Now!”
vio was shocked. "but color giver,we cant move now. we have already spent time into making theses defenses. and besides, the humans shot 1st,and blew off the doors.we just shot into there to try and kill them for it." picking up the map vio looked it over. "hmmm,if you carry us were we want,we promise to try to kill are enemies less explosively."
“Ok I will carry your stuff, the kitchen isn’t the most range-effective place anyhow and you can have some clay to build your walls and base. That work? “ asked Mark
smiling, vio nodded. "thank you color giver. now...it seems the room you took me to earlier(marks room) would be very defendable,or failing that the glass room(sun room) with the giant padded things would also be good,if not a little strange. your choice color giver."
alright. This way.” The men walked through the tunnels for several minutes until they arrived at an exit point. As they exited the soldiers scanned the room for hostiles. When none where found Darwin spoke “Darryl, grapnels.” Trooper Darryl set his portable grapple-gun up and fired it securing it to the top of the banister the men climbed up and walked slowly over the massive banister and onto the top floor. “Alright.” Said the commando. “Lets go” as the troops entered a room that was filled with tables they stopped. “Those your friends?” a small unit of kreigsmen were talking to a delta force corporal.
vio set his men to work.using the clay and other stuff, they made 3 outposts. there main base on the soft giant chair. they also made one on the book shelf to guard the entrance and another small one on the table for an all around view. looking over the map,vio decided it was time tho make a move. "im going to take a decent sized force upstairs. hold the fort here."
"yes shas'o'vio,were are you going?"
"im thinking the table room. if not that we will just explore the other rooms. "rolling the map up vio went and observed as his force assembled. "i want 2 warrior teams,1 kroot team,1 kroot hound team,3 rider teams,1 hammerhead,1 broadside team, the vespid team,1 XV8 team, and both XV25 teams. we move out in 10."
alright Im gonna hit the hay. I encourage you to RP the whole time I sleep. (gotta read somthin when I wake up) just no ones involving Mark, the modern troops,or the uruk-hai
(also on a major NPC for Mark: he couldn't resist making a model of 'the angriest' with angry banner, and power-bat, power sack of power doorknobs and the iron cigar.
Marduk woke with a start. The chirumgens were attending to some crippled warrior brothers. Burias was satanding watch over the Drak Apostle. "How many", Marduk asked. "50 causualties. 25 marines, 24 daemons, and the nurgle greater daemon. Oh and most of the marines have some kind of burn. They`ll recover. Kol-Badar is furius. He set up a base in the side yard. The death corps are here. In the back yard at least. Our base is by a window looking into the area that the garage wa connected too. Its made out of brick. Some orks have attacked, along with a huge amount of some degenerate form of tyrinids (Red ants). We held them off. No causulties since the great daemon attacked", Burias explained. "Good, now take me to my stormraven", Marduk ordered. Burias led the Dark Apostle to the stormraven and it took off to view the fort. It was a box with watch towers at intervals along the wall. The havocs were manning the walls. The compound on the inside consisted of a HQ tent, Barracks made out of the KR Mutli case, A chaos temple, and the field hospital. "It looks good. Now what is the Coryphaus planning", Marduk questioned? "He is going to have the scouts go and scout the whole house and yard out. He wants to find places to put listening post around to keep on top of the enemy. Oh and we have found a crate to heal our numbers. Or to upgrade us. Your choice", Burias told him. "Alright that sounds good. But we need the firepower. Oh and grab the chainsaw if you can from the garage. I have a plan for that", Marduk said as the stormraven landed.
Kiku blinks her eyes. Gazing out around the room, frozen. She stands upon a large black pedastal which is located in a giant alcove. She stares out over the wood work surface on which the pedastal stands. It streches out into the distance in front of her.
"It seem the battles have begun again," Kiku says to herself in a light tone.
She steps forwards off the black circular disk and paces forwards out of the shade of the alcove of micsalenious items upon the desk top. She notices the low constant rumbling noise and searches for it's source.
Her sword still held in her armoured hand she raises it to prode a giant wall of flickering light that seems to be emitting the noise. The sword blade taps lightly against the giant fragmentation shield.
She turns away loosing interest in this monolith of magnificense. She sets her eyes out across the desk and out to the disant sky. It seems so far away yet she longed to escape this colossal prison.
She had been trapped in here for far too long no way to escape she had searched for what seemed an eternity and found nothing. She had been to that false sky and much like the monoliths colour generator it too was shielded from her.
Stretching out her wings she desided to go back into the cavern under the powdered cragge. The 'bed' as she had heard it be called by the creator was the safest place to avoid the glaring harshness of the fake sun.
Sgt. Oberk and his squad had been sent by the Major to scout the area for any visible landmarks, and while they had found quite a few, it seemed they had also found one of the native soldiers with the strange slug based weaponry they seemed fond of, although this one seemed better equipped than the others.
The two groups had been able to communicate rather well and the conversation revolved around what was going on, what the other group had seen so far and so on. Soon, however, another group of soldiers approached, some of them obviously being other Imperial guard which Oberk found comforting. When he saw that it was none other than the Cadian Kasrkin, he immediately came to attention and saluted as did the rest of the squad, the other human soldiers backed away and gave the two familiar parties their space.
"Sergeant Oberk, One forty five Krieg." He said introducing himself. "My squad and I are here on advanced recon for my battalion, although I don't recall these guys being on the deployment rosters." He indicated the delta force troops.
"Or Cadians for that matter. I'm sorry, we're just a little confused right now, do you know what the heck is going on around here?"
"All I know is that when me and my team wake up in a giant kitchen, then gak has really hit the fan. When giant roached and Tau start attacking, well, we got worse than gak here. You can't be all of the Kreigsmen. Where's your commander? Or at least a Commissar. A threat feels strangely comforting right now.
"Oh right, my commander, Major Kern will want to hear about this..." Oberk said summoning his voxman and beginning to call his commanding officer. A minute later, the communication was done and Oberk turned back to the Cadian.
"Alright, Major says he'd like to see you guys at base, apparently while we were gone our battalion found a neat little spot. If you'd be so kind as to follow us, we'll be on our way..." Oberk said stoically and gathered his troops up. Before leaving he waved to the "Americans" as they had called themselves.
"Strange group of guys those...nice enough I suppose...but its like they're from a different time or place." Oberk commented as the group moved off.
"You said giant roaches?" One of the squad asked. "That's nothing, Heinkel here got jumped by a spider the size of a friggin salamander, aint that right Heinkel?"
"You were there, why're you asking me?" The offended trooper asked to the first trooper's humor.
"Cut the chatter." Oberk said, "Time for the descent." He said as they reached the edge of the table where a book was leaned up against its edge on top of a stack of books which was seated on a chair. Under the stack of books was a shirt that hung to the floor over the side of the chair and was utilized as a slide by the troops, once they were on the floor, Oberk led them to the exit.
"Its like a hab back home only..." he began.
"Frakkin huge?" One of the squadsmen said looking around himself awestruck.
vio almost fell over as he caught his breath.those stairs were not fun to climb.even less the 2nd time. "ok men,the tables room is right over there. stealth suits, scout ahead, everyone else, hide in the small room til they report back." as the stealth suits vanished and the rest of the army rushed into the small room with the round chair, vio just hoped he didnt have any trouble. about 4 minutes later, the scouts appeared.
"shas'o'vio, there are a bunch of humans in there, including the ones we fought earlier." almost face palming, vio asked for numbers and fire power "not much. those ones we met are still low.the other small masked group dosent have anything heavy either. however the stranger looking humans have some heavier things i think, but nothing we cant handle." nodding, vio pulls out some emp grenades and a few photons too.
"emp them then blow up there heavier weapons, once we hear the explosion,we wil come and help finish them." as the scouts took them and headed off,vio sat back and prepared. about 5 minutes later they heard the explosions and rushed n guns blazing. vio saw masked humans blow apart from heavy fire. he shot and hit one of the stranger ones in the chest. seeing the stealth suits burst cannons ripping though infantry and smoke rising from the destroyed heavy weapons, vio saw they were slaughtering the humans. "leave none alive, for the greater good!"
Anthony and his men hit for cover, raining hell fire on the Tau all the way, they fixed up position behind a book and threw all they had. Frags shattered kroot formations, Hellguns tore Pathfinders. Anthony saw the Hammerhead, and threw two of his meltas on top of it. The explosions took out the main gun and half the engines, but the pulse cannons fired for moments more before dying. He ran to a book next to him where Oberk took cover and yelled in his ear over the roar of guns.
Major Kern had quite unashamedly left the Steel legion to mingle with the other human soldiers, he had given a good enough explanation: he had orders to follow.
The convoy advanced through the desert for a while unhindered, no shapes were present on the now clear horizon. Soon, though, they came to something that interested Kern greatly...
A wide, deep, trench that ran perpendicular to their advance lay before them, Kern and every kriegsman that saw it smiled in anticipation. Oh yes, now this was just like home.
"We've reached our deployment zone men. I repeat, we are digging in here, standard protocol fortification, nothing fancy, everyone grab a shovel or a hammer and start digging!"
The trench became a flurry of activity as men began piling into making it the new home of the Kriegsguard. Sandbag walls were put up, machine gun and stubber nests plowed, dugouts, grenade sumps, the Hades drill was used to is full effectiveness, drilling out thousands of pounds of dirt for more trench work. Bunkers for the tanks were dug out, the HQ bunker was being constructed by the Techpriest and the team of engineers. Kern watched this all from atop the stone cliff face to one of their flanks (the brick border of the garden/desert). More siege works were being constructed behind him, the men were making full use of the defilade they had upon that wall, carving out parapets and firing steps.
The Kriegsguard were masters of the siege and this was their home turf, Kern took pride in seeing them so hard working, so far, all the things they had seen today had been strange, very strange, and it seemed like his men were happy to participate in a task they were familiar with to dispell the memories of those strange things...
"Sir, our patrol has reported contact with more of those other human soldiers as well as a squad of Cadians." His vox officer said to him.
"Cadians? They weren't on our rosters. When we get command they've got a lot of explaining to do, tell them to return to their rally point and bring the Cadians with them." Kern replied, he listened as his vox man relayed the orders and then came back this time more urgent.
"Sir! The patrol reports heavy contact with enemy forces and requests support!"
"Tell them that it's on the way! Get all our artillery trained on that rally point and tell him he's got some armor headed his way!" Kern said rallying his command squad and a grenadier platoon and a Leman Russ Vanquisher. Together they moved out, towards the rally point, hoping they weren't too late...
----------------------
Oberk was barking orders and shouting into his voxman's vox at the same time, he managed to get off a few shots which killed a couple of firewarriors as well. That was when the Cadian got to his cover position and asked him id he had any way out. Oberk gave him a thumbs up.
"Chimera's outside! Lets haul ass!" Oberk shouted the fall back command and as everyone was getting up to leave, one of his men went down messily. One of the Cadians tried to stop and get to him but another Kriegsguard stopped him.
"Leave him, he's dead already, besides, he got more than one anyway!" The soldier said as if that explained the soldier's death. Together, the two squads were able to find the crack in the wall that Oberk's squad had come through and were able to squirm back through it, down the wall a ways and out another crack to the outside where Oberk called to the driver of the waiting Chimera.
"Start that thing up, lets get to the rally point!" He yelled, his men piled in back and the Cadians jumped on top.
"GO!" Oberk yelled at the top of his lungs to the driver. The Chimera pulled away as fast as it could, swerving the entire way.
as the firing stopped, vio looked around.they had killed alot of those strange humans before they had run off.as for the others,he saw they must have killed half of each squads units. looking at their own casualties, they didnt have any major number drop.then hammerhead was a different story.it was toast. "leave it,lets head back before they come at us with reinforcements." as they quietly left the tables room, vio called in to HQ "be on the look out, just made enemy with alot of humans.killed more of them than we lost on the bright side. shoot on sight now. have are pathfinders (they stayed behind FYI) keep those scopes open." as they got to the stairs, vio scanned the area below and saw what he wanted. the beast. "you 3 vespid, ive got a job for you. got annoy that dog til it chases you, then lead it out to the backyard were we had reports of those masked humans.if it liked chasing are little group it will love chasing around an army of humans." as the vesp9id flew off and he heard th beast run off,vio started his decent down the stairs.
(....i feel like im being to evil for the tau....:shrug
Marduk`s advance daemon auspex picked up the combat in the upstairs room. He smiled. So the enemy were fighting amongst themselves. Good. He`d use that against them, but the reports of any races he minded were 0% other than the orks. He walked the walls with his Coryphaus and Icon bearer following him. The base was ready for any assault.
The chaos scout, Namai, finally cut the tape. Man was it a bitch to cut he thought. Now that he was free he pulled out his melta. "Hey corpse man if you wanta live follow me", he said to the tanith. "Alright scum, but one wrong move and I`ll kill you", the tanith, Mckenniver, said. The melta fired and burned a hole through the glass. Namai jumped out, followed by the tanith scout. "Hey let me make contact with my leader. He might want to join up with you. Your commander has served with mine in an unlikely pair up when we were trapped in that bastion", Namai said. "Yeah I remember. We kicked those damned astartes from here to terra. Alright I`ll contact Gaunt", the tanith agreed.
Chinook pilot Martin was impatient as the last o the Land rovers were loaded up into the back of the transport chopper. Evidently a massive amount of aliens had attacked marines and some local troops without provocation. So when the American colonels were debating a bunch of brits had stepped out of the closet... Sevral teams of SAS with thermal masking were trying to find their base…the massive kid had off to find a friend of his. And had put them in charge for now. Guess it was lucky when James had found that big crate full of weapons and ammo. They didn’t trust the green guns or the thinks that looked like some soda cans taped together. But luckily there was some good old heavy ordinance of the 21st century to use. Including anti-material rifles there was still the chatter of fire in the hall as he lifted off.
When they touched down in the guest room they did not open fire directly but landed on the tables instead. Their flak vest had proved to be useful against the birdlike alien’s guns, but the blue energy bolts of the ‘tau’ cut right through them several British troops were already setting up sandbags on the tables and the aliens were taking a break on the bed opposite them.
The AC130 was suitably cowing them into submission after it had blasted apart a pair of the robodys that some of the enemy wore with a single missile through the screen window and it was generally accepted that if the aliens tried to run it would turn them into mincemeat. The troops with anti-matireal rifles where scoping the battlesuits. So they would remain here until Mark had gotten back with his friend
vio looked at the plane and ordered his men to aim there weapons down. looking at what seemed the highest ranking human vio said "what do you want? if were going to fight lets us continue and we shall die for the greater good!"
As Mark pulled up in his driveway he said “what the f**k?” there was a gunship hanging outside of his window.
What the hell had happened?
He opened the door, entered, and slammed it. Pounding up the stairs, he looked into the guest room where bodies were everywhere. Storming into the room he turned on the minis inside “WHAT. THE. HELL.” "I leave you for ten minutes and it’s a f***ing warzone in here!” “well technically-“ began a marine. Before being silenced by a glare. “That Is IT!” screamed mark. “I am going around the house and bringing the leaders here! If you so much as SNEEZE at each other, I will flatten you” that’s when a sound came from Marks closet. The sound of bolter fire and the crunching of bugs. But above all that was the dreaded warcry. “ALWAYS ANGRY!!! ALL THE TIME!!!”
vio stared at the color giver. "well, great color giver,we didnt start this-" he then stopped when the glare turned on him. as mark an out,vio turned to the humans. "erm...sorry bout killing dozens of you?"
“DIE! DIE! DIE!” screamed the marine, smashing a group of roaches with his power sack of power doorknobs. With another cry of hate around his Iron Cigar the chapter master fired a boltgun at the by now dead bugs. Mangling them even further. When he had emptied the weapon into the insects he turned around “WHO THE F**K ARE YOU?” he asked Mark, in his howling voice. “uhh…Mark.” “LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR YOU F*G!” Mark sighed and shook his head. Reaching over to the table, the wargamer picked up both the ultramarine codex, and a metal colander he used for storage. placing the codex on the ground he watched as the angry marine howled “WHAT!?! SMURFS!?! DIE! DIE! DIE!” with that, mark dropped the colander on top of him. “HEY! GET ME OUT OF HERE F**KER!”
Mark walked out of the room.
The stormraven nearly smacked into Mark as he exited the door. Marduk started yelling, "Great daemon sorry for almost hitting you. But we heard you were summoning us so we came to keep you from having to retrieve us."
“Huh?” “oh, you” said Mark. “Yeah, listen, go in that room and don’t kill anyone O.K?”
without waiting for a reply Mark headed downstairs and into the back yard. Then he noticed the death korps taskforce on the right side. With a sigh, he walked over.
Marduk grimaced as he heard the foul mouthed thing under the colander. "Hey you chaos s***, I see you. And dont give me that look I`ll shoot you motherf*****s out of the sky." Marduk yelled back, "By the gods someone end my pain of having to listen to this heathen." Kol-Badar happily stepped forward. Marduk smirked and flicked the Coryphaus off.
The Chimera bounced its way along the grass until it made it to the rally point where it soon met the reinforcements led by Kern himself. After formal introductions and a few questions were sorted out, the group began to head back towards the Krieg lines when suddenly a huge shadow blotted out the sun, All the men turned to see what it was and were completely shocked to see a simply enormous human looking object coming toward them.
"Get back to the line!" Kern yelled at the top of his lungs as all the vehicles and troops ran in a futile attempt to escape the titan.
Kern heard the thing shout at them to stop but knew to do so would mean certain death. Knowing that all his men could not possibly take the thing down, he called for the chimera to stop.
"Are you crazy sir?!?" The driver shouted.
"Do as I say or I'll shoot you myself!" Kern shouted back, the maddened charge of the chimera and the tank stopped and the men stood around uneasily. Kern stepped down and presented himself to the gigantic being.
"Yarrick, this is 3rd Platoon here. Looks like we were too late for our allies, so we're reporting back to you for further orders."
"Yes, err....right. So, did you set House to record?"
"House? Errm....no, sorry."
"That's it! All men, back to the bedroom!"
With that, Yarrick and his men withdrew.
As the humvees rolled into the jungle, the choppers did an overhead, sweep and Shatner was talking with his orienteering spec. “So what’s the ETA?” he asked. “About five minutes gets us through this area here, from there we go about half an hour to an hour through thick terrain to that big porch, it has a window open.” said the spec.
“yeah. Gottit.” answered the lieutenant, as he got out of the humvee and entered the little bird gunship Shatner checked his forward recon unit that would rappel onto the sunroom floor, a squad of troops in the Blackhawk and a half squad in the littlebird, including him. “Alright guys. Take us into that sun porch.” Said the lieutenant “If you see any natives remember the rules of engagement! no one fires unless fired upon!”
Kiku spread her wings and glided gracefully across the 'office' landing on the powderfield with a spongy feel under her metal adorned feet. She paced across the squishy surface her sword still in hand, surveying the room for any changes that might give her an escape route.
The fake sky outside was tempting her again with its shine and she flew up onto the ledge infront of the barrier. Tapping the barrier again with her sword she gazed out into the pearly blue sky. Her strengh had weakened over her time in this prison, a lack of nutrition has caused her to loose the strenght that was neccessary to escape this cavern, which will surely end up as her grave.
Kiku sat infront of the barrier faceing the room as a whole and leant backwards against it. Her wings folded behind her back and she placed her sword on the surface of this white cliff top. Her shadow cast a small pool of darkness against the white ledge and she sighed deeply.
"I need to escape this place before it is too late for me, but with out nourishment it is impossible. I must find food in here somewhere and regain my strenght before I can hope to break out," Kiku said out loud in the emptyness. Regaining her resolve she picked up her sword and stood once more. Desiding to begin her search under the surface to which the monolith was perched.
She spead her wings walked to the edge of the white platform and dived, swooping down through the air towards lowest level of this cavern. Landing neatly on the floor she looked around again. She saw that this base of the cavern streched out much further than she expected. Striding across the moss-like surface, Kiku aproached the nearest edge of the caverns base and desided to search around the edge of the cavern for anything that would have been left behind or forgotten by the creator.
Marneus looks around to see him and his friends at the table. He finds his way down and starts to roam around to see an Imperial Guard platoom. "Soldier, why are you here?"
Escaping the rat holes, the zoats grabbed the food and entered the game room, ready for a fight, suddenly they caught a view of Marduk's forces. "Eh?" said the Zoat King. "What's that?"
The Pain-boy wakes up in the Bedroom ridden with dust. He says: "Why does the Almighty Lord Mark does not like mez anymorz...". The Painboy slides down the stairs, avoiding both dogs and walks into the kitchen. He then looks into a fruit bowl and takes some bites out of an apple. He then comes back avoiding all and says "comes boyz we got da feast to get too". They avoided the dogs and got to the fruit bowl. They started greedily indulging themselves with the fruit. But suddenly...

“So…you’re NOT going to devour my soul?” asked the korpsman. “No," said Mark "Why would I do that?” The Major shrugged. “Happens quite a lot where I come from.” As they walked up the stars and Mark deposited the Kreigsman on a table me walked into the office to get some pen and paper.
As he walked out he left the door open and set down the dropped the stuff. Unfortunately the Angriest had broken out of the colender and was standing directly under the cascade. “AHH!!! IT’S THE APOCOLYPSE! OFFICE PRODUCTS FALLING ROM THE SKY!!!” Mark was confused “what?” the Angriest looked up. “OH! I DID’NT SEE YOU THERE, S**THEAD!” "And a pleasure to meet you too." Grumbled Mark.
Kiku watched as the creator walked across the cavern towering above she hadn't seen him since he left her in this prison.
She wanted to call out but was too weak from hunger. A glimmer of light caught the corner of her eye and she spun to face the object. It glistened with golden light and drew her closer by instinct.
The ‘thing’ was nearly the same size as her. It was golden and rounded with two twisting excesses jutting out of the sides. She stared at it in confusion having not seen anything like it before.
She holstered ‘The Revenant Blade’ in the loop of her belt walked towards the object, ignoring the shouts from overhead. Grabbing one of the folds with both hands she pulled at the crumpled golden coat of the ‘thing’.
“Come on,” she moaned as the golden layer began to slide back revealing a dark mud coloured block underneath. A wave of fragrant delight washed over her as the dark block was revealed fully and she fell backwards still holding the golden sheet, which was silver on the other side.
The brick of pungent aromas stood resolutely in front of Kiku and she gazed up at it. Standing, she drew her sword once more and plunged it into the object. Cracks began to spread from the wound as a creamy viscous matter oozed from the hole.
She stared in amazement pulling her sword from the object. The sticky substance smelt delicious and she brushed some off the sword blade with an armoured hand and tasted it.
It glued solid in her mouth and she struggled with it, the flavour was better than anything she had tried before. Finally breaking free of the delicious bond she wiped more from her sword and into a small glass vial on her belt.
She broke off a chunk of the solid brown layer and bite down hard into it. It melted in her mouth like liquid gold, strengthening her and filling her with energy. Pocketing more pieces of the object she decided, “That too much time has been wasted here.”
Turning to the ‘door’ with which the creator had left open she spread her wings again and flew swiftly and silently towards it.
"Ah the tau. I should have known you`d be here. Anyways I`m Marduk, Dark Apostle of the WORD Bearers legion, direct desendant of the glorified Lorgar. I take it your the tau commander vio. I`ve picked up on your name through my comms. I dont like the tau but your better than any of the other heathens, so I will spare you, for the moment. Now explain to me what in the name of Khorne is going on", Marduk questioned?
As Yarrick was approaching the stairs, he heard a noise; a faint rumbling. Several tiny marching boots, and a single pair of massive feet.
"Huh? What's-
"ALWAYS ANGRY! ALL THE TIME!" Yarrik thought to himself, I know that battle cry... "SH*T! IT'S THE ANGRY MARINES!!" Panic broke out along Yarrick's lines and his men fled. However, in seconds the Angry Marines were upon them, with the Giant at the rear.
"MOVE A F***ING INCH AND WE'LL GOUGE YOUR F***ING EYES OUT YOU LITTLE P*SSY S**TBAGS!"
"Calm down, Angry Marines. Save your angriness for later."
It appeared the Giant had reached an accord with the Angriest.
"Yarrick, come with me. Now." said Mark.
"O Rly? No."
"I'll step on you like a bug."
"You wouldn't dare. I'm a second edition Commissar Yarrik, do you know how much idiots will pay for me on Ebay?"
"Don't think I won't. How do you even know what Ebay is?"
"When you're locked in an attic for 6 years, you learn these things. Just look at Frazzled."
"Who?"
"It doesn't matter. I gotta go now, I'm missing House." Mark stared at him increduously.
Kern watched the giant go and turned on his heel back towards the table, he immediately froze as he saw all manner of heretic and xeno on the table before him...
looking right at him...
Kern didn't know what to do right then so responded on instinct, pulling out his bolt pistol and warily pointing it at the enemies around him.
"Move and I'll--" Was all he had time to say before one of the occupants, a Chaos lord by the looks of it, waved his hand dismissively
"Save your fanatical gak, nobody's going to kill you."
"Your not?"
"Not unless we want the color giver to come back and crush all of us." The tau leader said.
"Oh...well then..." Was all Kern managed while putting his gun away and scooting to a part of the table as far away from the others as possible.
Marduk laughed to himself. The fool. Almost fired apon me. I should have him killed. In a closed comm Marduk said to Kol-Badar, "Coryphaus if that man makes one wrong move have the annoited shred his unit to pieces. Then we will sacrifice his body to the gods, slowly." Marduk laughed again. Everyone looked at him. "What cant a man have a laugh", Marduk said.
Anthony could hardly believe what he saw. Tau, Chaos, Kriegsman. Xenos and Heresy everywhere! He grabbed Derick and pulled him aside.
"We're leaving. ASAP."
He looked a little confused.
"But, sir, we seem to have something in common here..."
Anthony threw a fist into his face, dropping him flat.
"I don't care. Get a rope down this table, soldier."
Deick nodded, as he he and Thomas moved to the edge of the table, stringing down a rope of the edge. Anthony didn't care how big Mark was. He didn't want to be here. He would have to make sure to establish coms with the Kreigsmen later. If they survive.
Major Joe Leyland was petty sure that his troops could kill most of the faction leaders in one go. But the big one in armor was making him nervous. The troops of his armed with AM sniper rifles could kill him reasonably fast but knew that standard small-arms fire would not prove as effective.
The world war one german look-alike was an easy case it seemed, as well as the alien in yellow. Looking closer at the gasmasked one, the major noticed that his guards weapons were not standard NATO rifles. And the pistol at the mans hip looked like it fired AM round without penetrators.
As the huge Guy came back in the room with what appeared to be a green spaceman, a big Viking, a centaur thing and a protesting man in a what looked like the long black coat and tall peaked cap of a soviet commissar, he knew this wasn’t going to be easy

Inside the massive bedroom, a battle was raging aboard a great artificial but realistically-well painted landscape. Dozens of unmoving models were set up - twenty Daemons surrounding a great, shining exemplar of a fictional version of humanities' undying refusal to succumb to the ravages of time; a pinnacle of dark science combined with centuries upon centuries of skill and experience fighting the most terrible horrors that plight mankind. In his right hand he clasped the Titansword, bane of the Daemonic. In his left, he wielded the only Storm Shield possessed by the Grey Knights.
Suddenly, the models began to move. The unholy blades of the Daemons began to glow with evil power, whilst the Titansword shimmered and crackled with massive energy. Lord Kaldor Draigo stepped off his decorated base as the Daemons, given new life, apprehensively advanced.
"Daemons! Prepare to be banished back to whence you came!" Bellowed the master of Chapter 666 as he began scything down his foes with speed and skill matched only be his ferocity. Within half a minute, the Daemonic forces assailing him were down to half their original number, many cut apart or utterly incinerated by psychic flame as Draigo waded through them, shouting righteous oaths and promises of destruction at the Daemons.

I hope he likes House. And I've changed it to say several feet rather than hundreds, but 6 Angry Marines is still enough to terrify them.
Kol-Badar having the scouts feed info to him knew about the humans with the snipers, probably to kill the leaders. He ordered the annoited to surround the Dark Apostle. He wouldnt let his Dark Apostle be killed. Again. Burias had takin off to find the humans. Burias found them in a tree outside looking into the room. Burias relayed their position to Kol-Badar. "Alright burias if they try anything funny kill them", the Coryphaus ordered.
“OK. Listen, all of you!” said Mark, as a protesting zoat lord was dumped on the table. “If I see, hear, or SMELL any fighting, their will be Consequences.” Mark stared at all of them in turn. “Agreed?”
after replying to the color giver, vio then asked "but its in are blood to fight.all of ares. if we dont fight then what are we suppose to do? get along, hug, and watch the giant screen?"
"Hate to break it to ya, son. But the grim darkness of the future says there is only war. I don't plan on spending the rest of my eating Cheetos and watching My Little Pony!"
the next morning, mark glanced at the paper. He had gotten each of the various factions to a room. The zoats had escaped into the tunneled though. Looking at the paper he spat out his moring tea the headlines screamed
vio looked up at mark "something wrong color giver?" (still find it funny how mark hasent commented on this) while he waited for marks answer,he turned back to the fridge. the repairs were almost done, but he would miss being able to get to the giant food. turning back to mark he said "well? is it something to bad for words?"
vio thought for a second, then turned to his men. "finish that up then return to the sun room." as he heard reply's vio ran after mark.then he noticed something next to were mark was putting on his shoes. a backpack. "oh,boy,im doing this?yup,im am." running at the backpack as fast as he could vio randomly yelled "for the greater good!" he jumped and caught the zipper. using all his strength he pulled himself up and fell into the thing. "own....whats with the mold growing in here?"
“Unholy F**K!” sevral of the marines raised their guns below Shatner was a camp of what appered to be aliens. Suddenly, one of the troops, a kid named Davis started giggling. “What?” asked the leutenant. “they look like friggen frogs!” replied the trooper. “you are kidding, aliens?” said Shatner.
A heavy rain had forced them to hole up in a large woodpile that night. They had spent a dry but dark night fending off massive rodents and insects while attepting to keep themselves dry.
As the little bird landed on the massive carpet, Shatner waved to the aliens “hello?”
As the Death Korps continue to build their siege works, as is their specialty, Kern gets radio contacts from his patrols in the area that the giant titan had called the "yard"
"Sir, everything is clear for the most part, a few of the patrols ran into some rather hostile wildlife, but sir, almost all of the patrols have reported giant mounds of....well, I'm not sure what sir..."
"Come on Lieutenant, I need an explanation." Kern said into his vox from his spot at the HQ bunker, overseeing the defense efforts.
"Well, they are huge, and have the consistency of fertilizer, stink about as bad too...Some of the piles are as big as the Stormblade..."
Kern was speechless for a moment. "Let me get this straight, your men have found giant piles of..."
"Sh*t, sir, though I have no idea what kind of animal could have made them..."
"Alright, return to base, time for an officer's meeting." Kern said, his face going down into his hand exasperatedly
Marduk finely finished the painstaking work of finishing the inscribement. He placed the rat skin book onto a chain on his armor, to replace the fake one he had. He laughed. He had killed the vermin himself. He even had a skin cape from it. His crozium arcanum was also dipped in its blood. Three more birds had been killed and sacrificed. The remains dumped into the giant green can that the daemon prince showed them. Kol-Badar walked in, "Dark Apostle the insects attacked again, three injuries. Other than that its been uneventful. I long to make the imperials bleed." "I know my Coryphaus so do I. Now ready my stormraven. The daemon prince is leaving. I wish to follow", Marduk replied. Two minutes later Marduk was climbing into Marks backpack to go and see the flayed man.
Anthony and his team were NOT content to stay in a room forever. They sensed his anticipation, and Anthony gave the order. One by one, they found his carrying bag, and piled in.
Thomas had questions, as usual.
"Why are we doing this, sir?"
Anthony was looking down at his Hellgun, disassembling and cleaning it.
"Because, this kid will lead to one of two things. Action, or freedom. Once we're outside, we'll find a route for the rest of the guard to join us. That clear?"
Thomas nodded.
"Crystal, sir."
"Good, then catch a nap. Except you, Derick. Keep a link up for contact."
Derick nodded and sat by his pack, while the others fell into a thin sleep, ignorant of the figure already inside.
after deciding the mold was no harm vio decided to look around. not a big space, and very hot. pushing past a magazine with images he thought the color giver should not be looking at,vio tripped over a leg. looking over at itit was human. turning,he saw the human that he had fought before. "oh,erm, this is awkward."
Marduk jumped in surprise at the sudden appearence of the guard. He looked at their sleeping forms. Damn he thought at their vulnerability. He went over to the furthest one away from the group and pulled out his knife. He sat contemplating on if it was worth it. It was. The man died before he even knew it. No sound was made and Marduk pulled the dead corpse over to a old sandwhich. He hid it and sheathed his knife. He then waited for the daemon to leave the yard. He hauled himself up to the top of the bag and saw that there were many and plenty of houses for the taking. He laughed.
As mark's car neared the crime scene several police cars were already there, along with a coroner, Mark fumbled with his bag for a moment and stopped his car. After a moment he pulled out a ‘press’ badge. He worked as a freelance photographer for the local paper. When he had gotten the camera he shouldered his bag and walked over.
“What happened?” he asked the sergeant on duty. “the guy is dead, that’s what happened, his skin was atomized down to the bone.” As mark turned his head he saw a gleaming white skeleton being put into a bucket. “SH*T!” he screamed and leapt into the car.
Several minutes later he was driving down to a friend of his’ house. When he pulled up to the picket fence, it began to get grey again.
KNOCK. KNOCK.
the door was answered. “what?” The voice came from a disheveled guy the same age as Mark, but with philipeino features. The college student said. “Man, cant this wait? My ‘crons are missing.”
S***! Came a tinny voice from Mark’s pack. “what was that?” asked the other guy. Mark had to think of a lie fast. “what did you say Phillip?” he asked. “I said ‘who was that.’” Sighing Mark began shaking the back upside down over the welcome mat. “this.” He announced, as multiple swearing figures, a ‘Playboy’ magazine, and a moldy sandwich fell out.
as vio fell and hit the ground he,of course, said "ow!" getting up and looking at the color giver,he said "color giver, there are nicer and less painful ways to get us out. now on to business.ive connected the lines and know its the vile necrons that commented the crime.i pledge that me and my warriors will help you bring them their demise."
"Damnit, i forget where I placed that nexus arrangement. If I knew where it was I could attract the necrons. Daemon do you or that pathetic guy know were it is", Marduk asked ignoring the tau.
Phillip stared. “commie frog? satanist?” he mumbled. “long story.” Said mark as the tau and the dark apostle began arguing. That’s when he noticed the little boots, sticking between the now bloody slices of moldy bread…
Marduk noticed the body and continued to argue to not get himself in trouble. "Now tau I understand that you think you can find them, but I have a fool proof way of finding them and bring them to me, so you need to help me fing the nexus arrangement. So my techdaemon can get it working again", Marduk said to the tau commander.
vio couldn't believe what he heard. "we dont have time for that.there are enough of them out there to fell a giant. if you really want to use something go get those giant magnets off the white box!"
As they pulled up into Marks driveway, the dark apostle was still arguing with the tau. About his nexus arrangement. He was still doing so as they walked up the steps even as Mark began the lengthy explanation.
As Shatner and a little bird helicopter did a sweep from the forward firebase in the logpile, they noticed the biggest dog in the world sneaking up in a leman russ tank…
Kern and his command squad were busy taking a walk, touring the caverns and tunnels the engineers had so far excavated with the help of the Hades drill which was making short work of the dirt, so far, the tunnels stretched far below the surface.\
Kern and his squad made it up to the front where hte drill cranked loudly and continued to chew through the dirt. Suddenly, one of the engineers waved his hand.
"We've hit a pocket! Back it up!"
The Hades drill was backed up after a minute and Kern's command squad and a grenadier squad with a few flamers attached jumped into the dark hole which was quickly illuminated by flashlights.
"What is this chamber?" Kern asked.
"It looks like somebody beat us down here." His commissar commented. Suddenly the chamber began to shake as something stirred inside it. An enormous figure came out of the shadow, it was huge, covered with fur, had no eyes and enormous claws.
"Take it down!" Kern yelled as his squad opened fire, soon, the grenadiers had set actual fire to the chamber and burned its contents black.
"Giant moles?" One of his men asked.
"Why not, everything else in this world is so frakkin big, why not the moles?" Kern responded. "Get the drill down here, lets keep going,"
Anthony turned every where. Derick was no where to be found. He had the others wait by the playboy as he searched. He noticed the sandwich almost as soon as he gave the order. It wasn't unlike Derick to look for a snack, even a moldy one.
Then he noticed the boots.
He moved quickly to the sandwich, and, with little effort, flipped the top slice of bread, to behold the corpse of his Coms officer.
At first, there was nothing to feel. Just a casualty. But then he realized that they were under a universal cease-fire. That is what set his blood ablaze. He picked up the limp body of his friend and held it above him.
"WHO DID THIS?" he yelled loud enough for everyone to hear, even Mark, crystal clear.
The little bird shot low over the ground, as they sped towards the dog. One of the delta force commandoes was aiming a M14 sniper rifle at the dog’s left ear. And as the littlebird deposited the five men in the jungle of massive grass, the marksman fired.
The Leman Russ commander was too busy looking out over the yard through his scope to notice the large shape coming up behind him. Suddenly, a shot rang out and the commander's eyes turned to where it had come from. He gasped, stuttered, went down into the tank and ordered for the smoke mortars to be popped and fro the tank to take off full speed ahead...
"Daemon would you know where my nexus arrangement is", Marduk asked avoiding the glare the guardsmen was giving him. Mark didnt pay him any attention. He pulled out his bolt pistol and prayed to his gods. He shot Mark in the arm.
As the russ fired smoke grenades and tore off they knew it wasn’t fast enough. The dog darted forward and literally tore the turret off of the tank, which rolled and bounced down a small dip in the yard. Another Delta opened up with a CAR-15 and sprayed several shots ito the thing’s rear. Wich did not react at all but simply continued to destroy the tank tearing off the treads and sending the fuel tank hundreds of meters away. “littlebird!” we need a missile spread on that beast! Use HE-frag!” as the chopper wheeled toward the dog a pair of ravens slammed into it and began pecking at the underside. “Damn! Its like the environment wants to kill us!”
Mark is unfazed by the bullet. Marduk curses and hauls himself out of the car. He drops to the ground. He signals for his stormraven and it comes a minute later. Marduk jumps in. "Pilot take me to the Death corps soldiers. I wish to speak with them", Marduk orders his pilot. "Scratch that take me to the base. I want to go by land. With a sizable force", Marduk quickly says. The pilot brings him back to the base. Kol-Badar is waiting. "Coryphaus prepare the annoited and the landraiders. We`re going to go meet the Death corps lads. I wish to speak with them. Make an alliance, even though they worship the corpse", Marduk says cutting Kol-Badar from saying anything. Ten minutes later and the convoy is moving across the yard to get to the death corps trenches.
as the chaos lord ran off vio decided he wanted to talk to the other commanders to. calling in a hammerhead,he ordered them to bring him to the tunnels. as they arrived in the kitchen vio sighed. "we still cant use this entrance.those chemicals need to be cleaned up by the color giver still. bring me to the nutjob yarrik instead." as they sped around and went off vio called the HQ. "send off all souts to see what the other armies are doing." after finally arriving at yarrik he was glad he wasent shot."hey yarrik man,ive got some news for you,we have a slight necron problem..."
After the mole chamber had been cleared, the hades drill continued to plow the way through, soon, they broke into another pocket.
"Flashlights! Whats down there?" Kern yelled, the response was quick and came in the form of screams and lashes of flamers.
"Bugs!" Somebody yelled "Too many, we've got to go!"
"Back to the surface! Staggered retreat! Get those flamers into them!"
The group of kriegsmen made their way back to a lift that had been constructed to get down into the earth. They slowly ascended to the surface.
"Blow the hole, they can't get into the base!" Kern said, everyone was firing at the streams of ants that were coming at them, the flamers took a huge toll on the bugs, burning swathes of them black and crispy. One of the engineers took out a detonator and pressed its trigger, the caves below them shook with emplaced explosives which caved in the cavern. Kern looked below him at the cavern.
"Well, there goes our mining plans." He said disgustedly, soon, the lift brought the grenadiers to the surface and Kern was told of two things, firstly was the loss of a Leman Russ which he was rightly pissed about. the second, was approaching Chaos forces...
"Sound the alarm! All men to general quarters! All men to battle stations!"
The trenches were a flurry of activity as the men took up their firing positions. Kern stood in one of the parapets that had been constructed to oversee the battlefield. He spoke into a mega phone at the advancing chaos forces.
"Halt, another step and we will blast you to oblivion, have your leader show himself and state your reason for being here!" Kern yelled.
"Why do you think they're here?" One of his men asked.
"I don't know but they'd better have a good reason, there is supposed to be a ceasefire between the factions..."
Marduks force stopped at his command. Marduk stepped out of the rhino he was in. His command squad followed. They moved to the front of the convoy. Marduk yelled, "We`re here in peace. We`d like to set up an alliance. Dont shoot."
When Marduk didnt get a reply he said some more, "Alright major, there is a escaped necron force thats killed a gaint. I`m looking for allies to defend myself against them. We mean no harm as long as you guys dont provoke it."
"Are you crazy sir? Those are heretics down there! Chaos! We should kill them where they stand."
"They haven't shot yet and so neither shall we." Kern replied to the Commissar's frustration. "They want to talk, lets talk."
Kern and his command squad marched out to meet the Word Bearers. They stopped several paces from them, Kern wasnt keen on getting to close to the fouls smelling chaos marines.
"How goes it Atlas? Ever get that planet off your shoulders?" Kern mocked, his men laughed.
"What exactly is it that you want, heretic?" Kern asked after the jibe, meaning to get to the point.
"Gods Damn you. Its Word Bearers. But I`d like to make an alliance with you to work together to protect ourselves from the necron. Being the only the only armies outside. Oh and we`d also help with the insect problem. We`ve been dealing with them with ease. But I dont know about you. So I`m here to propose an alliance pure and simple", Marduk said not willing to stoop down and insult the imperials. Kol-Badar was quivering with rage though. And burias was switching between his true form and his possessed form. The guardsmen behind the major flinched at the scary sight.
Kern considered the marine's deal, fully aware that everyone was waiting for his response.
"Alright, you've got yourself a--" There was the sound of a gun being drawn and Kern turned to see his Commissar pointing his gun in his face.
"If you even think about making a deal with these heretics, I'll shoot you where you stand." He growled.
Kern didn't flinch. "Before you pull the trigger, you might want to look around you Kyerzak." He said motioning with his hand around him, every other man had pulled out their weapons and aimed it at the Commissar.
"In case you haven't noticed, this isn't our world, universe, dimension, whatever anymore, and as such, rules must be broken to ensure our survival, like it, lump it, or die, your choice Commissar."
The Commissar eventually lowered his weapon, Kern snickered. "Good, now, this alliance will be purely practical, I wont have your men spouting your heresies in my men's presence and you wont see my men preaching Imperial faith, we will keep watch for the necrons and you will help us ward off these damned insects, rodents, birds and that bastard pooch too, we must find a way of scarring it off when it comes around or else there won't be any of us left."
A few moments passed between them. "Do we have a deal?" Kern asked disdainfully.
Marduk considered it, "Well we need tunnels that only your drill can make. So if you offer to let us use that, then sure. I`ll be happy to oblige. Thoughin return for the use of the drill, I`ll let my Coryphaus help fortify your position better."
"Well I`m not trying to find but more I`m trying to build. I wish to expand my base underground where its more defendable. Oh and to mine rocks too. We need the material to build our mausulium to Lorgar. Other than that nothing", Marduk replied.
Kern frowned, he didn't like anything about this but he didn't see much choice. Besides, it wasnt like he planned on using the drill for anything else, there were too many damned ants below the base to be digging around down there.
"Alright, you can use the drill, but if we get it back and there's even one heretical scratch on it, I'll have my tanks turn you and our entire army into paper mulch, got it Atlas?"
"Sure. My techdaemon doesnt dabble in scratches, so dont worry. Oh and I know about your insect problem when you were mining. Your psychic defences arent that great. We`ll happily help with that", Marduk said.
Derick was buried quietly in a nerby patch of dirt.
"Rest in piece, Derick. Emperor guide you."
Anthony gathered up the five remaining men, and looked for the Kreigsmen. He saw Commander Kern with the Heretics and approached in formation with his team. As they approached, Anthony whistled to get Kern's attention. Kern turned, and Anthony shot straight to the point.
With a nod to the Word Bearers, Kern cut the negotiations between them to a conclusion and marched his command squad back up towards the defenses where The Cadian, Kern remembered his name as Anthony, stood waiting.
"Well Anthony, it seems we have successfully gotten a hold here, but I remember something the giant said about other guardsmen in that fortress." Kern said pointing to the house.
"Specifically, I believe he used the word "Cadians" if you remember. I think it would be in our best interest to try and rendezvous with them perhaps link our two forces."
Kern's attention was gotten by one of the Kasrkin behind Anthony, one without an arm. "I'm sure my techpriest can get you a good replacement for that if you want before we set off."
Marduk swiftly turned around and sent his troops back to the rhino. A big noise could be heard and the drill came forth. Marduk`s plan would come into being. The convoy waited for the chimera hauling the drill to drop it off. Then the techdaemon, Darioq-Grendh`al, attached the trailer to one of the rhino`s. They convoy drove back to the base. Marduk was happy. "Now Kol-Badar you have a day to make the primary tunnels and two days for the whole project. Get it done. I want this done and over with before they come asking for it back", Marduk said meaning to hurry the project up.
Marduk waited for the elevator to reach the tunnel floor. The doors openned up and Marduk could see the progress of the tunnels. They had in half a day made the primary tunnel system. The reason was that they hadnt run into any tyrinids yet. Marduk walked along the tunnel and looked around. The walls were being supported by themselves, for they were pure rock. Marduk marveled at the strength of the drill. Marduk wished he had one.
Yarrick and his army came steaming in to the garden.
"What the F**K is all this noise? I'm trying to watch my-HOLY SH*t!" A raven came swooping overhead, picking up dozens of men and flinging them across the grass.
"Crap! OPEN FIRE!" The raven plummeted as the air filled with autocannon shots from the Hydra battery. The raven's bodyheat made it an easy target.
"Good shooting! Now keep that up and we'll be home in time for breakfast." A second raven flew towards them, but turned away as hundreds of las-bolts struck it's chest. However, a shell from a Leman Russ had hit the dog and now it was pissed off.
"Keep firing, aim well-giant dogs? What the hell is this place? Whatever it is, burn it to the ground!" The dog charged Yarrick's lines. Bolts and tank shells bounced of it's fur like the rain.
"Commissar-
"Lord Commissar. I don't care what the Codex says, I'm a LORD Commissar."
"Lord Commissar, we've spotted the group of Death Korps again. It looks like they're stuck in this too."
"Good. Request aid from them and await a response. And will you just f*ck the hell OFF!" He yelled as he swiped at the Dog's paws with his power klaw.
Mark got up and made himself a glass of tea. Being sure not to step on the uruk-hai that had made a cereal box fortress on the island or the group of orks who where debating with said uruks about who was the ‘ardest’
As he walked out to the front yard and fetched the paper, an almighty explosion and an exultation of “We are the hammer! We are the hate! We are his right hand!” Mark facepalmed. Kaldor was now awake it seemed
Kern laughed at the trooper's reply. "I'm sure our resident cogboy can find something satisfactory."
It was then that a commotion was heard from the garden and the Korps looked over in time to see the beast dog that had ravaged one of Kern's tanks clawing into what appeared to be Commissar Yarrick's forces.
"Get me the artillery, tell them to lock on coordinates and give me a salvo on that thing!"
Soon, shells were raining on top of and around the dog with all the effectiveness of firecrackers. The dog soon ran away whimpering and the kriegsmen on the line gave a cheer. Kern marched back to Anthony and his group with a squad of Grenadiers in tow.
"I will be ready to go when you are, our first objective will be to get into the fortification, shouldn't be much of a problem I think, and then we'll go from there."
Lord Kaldor Draigo had strolled through the Daemon's with all the subtlety of a bulldozer rampaging through a park on a summer's day. Suffice to say, the fight was over very quickly. With his current foes dispatched, he made his way to a very large black case that lay upon the table. When he reached it, he plunged the Titansword into it and cut a large doorway out of the plastic. Several Grey Knights in Power Armor stared out from their padded "beds" with relief before jumping out and joining him.
"Supreme Grand Master, it is an honour," One began, kneeling before him.
"Dispense with the pleasantries, we must free the others," Draigo commanded.
Within ten minutes, the entire Grey Knight force had assembled on the board so that Draigo could inspect them. His seventy Power Armored Grey Knights consisted of four Strike squads, two Purifier squads, one Interceptor squad and one Purgation squad. Then there were two units of Terminators and his Paladins; twenty-five Terminator-armored warriors. Furthermore, Techmarine Aurellias stood overseeing the great warmachines of their force - the Dreadnought Icarus and Venerable Dreadnought Torrontus, as well as the Dreadknight piloted by revered brother Gideon. Their armored section consisted of a large amount of vehicles. Each Power Armored squad had its own Rhino APC and his TDA equipped Knights had a trio of Land Raiders and three Storm Raven Gunships to transport them. Standing next to a Chimera a short way off from the main force was Inquisitor Corteaz and his retinue of henchman as well as a representative of four of the six temples of the Officio Assassinorum that were in the codex.
Next to Kaldor himself stood Castellan Crowe, Grand Master Gaius, Librarian Korvus whose psychic strength matched even his own nigh-unmatched power as well as Brother-Captain Stern who was rather annoyed that ever since Draigo came along with the new codex, he had been a Grand Master for over six years, but now he was only a Brother-Captain as fate had originally intended.
Heathans, heretics and the unholy would never know what was coming for them.. until it was too late. Far, far too late. Lord Kaldor Draigo grinned in anticipation of the great hunt that was to come.
“I counted all his money.” Sang PFC ,McKenzie “It made a pretty penny! I took it and I took it and I took it home to Jenny! S sighed and she swore, that she ne'er would device me! But the divvil tak the women, fer they never can be easy-” when captain John Macintyre interrupted him. “Not now laddie.” We’re on a reconnaissance mission.” A slightly put out McKenzie nodded. “Right sir.” “Landing in five!” came the voice of the American Chinook pilot.
As the men of the 134th Loyalist Irish brigade clambered into their landrovers and scorpion scout tanks, the ramp dropped at the back end of the transport helicopter. McKenzie steeled himself and prepared for the landing.
The high-pitched buzzing of miniguns was audible over the two massive motors that powered the blades. And the voice of the copilot came over the comm. “we got local wildlife! Landing hot!” As the chopper descended into the woods of Sligo Creek Park McKenzie pulled back the slide on his FN FAL battle rifle and took aim out of the cargo hold while the chopper threw up cloud of dust. When they landed on the dirt path, the bass rumble of the main cannon on the Chinook filled his ears as reports of a large feline, probably a wildcat, darting at them trough the trees filled the air.
Sprinting forward into the dip at the far end of the path, McKenzie dived in and watched as the other troops, scorpions, and scimitar tacks filled the trench too. As the cat pounced a scimitar fired its main gun with astounding accuracy and hit the cat in the left eye. The beast died as it hit the ground but managed to flip a landrover while it’s corpse skidded.
The Captain, it seemed, had no time to spare. “Lets get a move on.”
sitting back in his makeshift chair, vio looked over his defenses for this 'sun room' as the color giver called it. nodding,he put it down. "wish we still had that tank, but were still strong." getting up and exiting the 'building',vio stopped as a scout appeared infront of him.
"shas'O'vio,we have reports of heavy environmental threats in the forest." thinking over this, vio turned and went to the edge of the table.
"send a scout squad to go meet the masked humans and the evil ones. the XV15 for the masked,a XV25 for the armored ones. makes sure they tell them i am arriving with an alliance offer." as the scout saluted and ran off,vio yelled "men,i need 2 fire warrior teams,2 rider teams, and 1 broadside team ready to leave NOW." as they scrambled to assemble, vio hit the ground."lets hope this works, cause if those necrons attack while any one of us is attacking another,we might just loose."
(you seem to be ignoring the US rangers hat just said hi, klimono...)
Rushing up the stairs and waking phillip who had crashed on his couch, Mark ran upstairs while phillip grumbled and put a pillow over his eyes
Throwing open the doors to the guest room he saw a scene of carnage. Some 100 daemons were lying in pieces around the 40k board some thirty grey knights were clambering out of a carrying case. Mark hit the floor and crawled to where a dreadnought was stomping on moria goblins and picked up the colander he flung it on to the dread and dived for Kaldor who turned, howled “DAEMON PRINCE!” and charged. As mark sailed through the air he wondered if this was the stupidest thing he had ever done and grabbed Draigo, making him drop his NFW…

Lord Kaldor Draigo fixed his diamond-hard gaze upon the great beast that now held him in an unescapable grasp. "Daemon! I hereby commend your blasphemous soul back to the warp!" He shouted as he raised his arm and emptied his entire clip of Storm Bolter ammunition at point-blank range into the giant Daemon's face.
(Oh damn, sorry, forgot about the 100 word rule for a sec.. not entirely sure what else to post.. unless you want my entire force ganging up on Mark..)
as vios force was about to leave to go meet their potential allies,he noticed some humans very nearby. "oh,sorry i didnt see you, been busy as of late..now,what do you want?"

Upon the sofa sat the Kasrkin of the 312th Cadian. Leo's missing arm had been replaced, fitted with a small chain blade. His accuracy may suffer, but Orks would no longer be a nightmare. They all took this opportunity of solitude to mourn the passing of Derick. He wasn't a bad soldier, nor an excellent one. He gave what he had never shirked.
"Well, enough of this. Jeremy, find a way to charge our packs. Sitting on them isn't the quickest way, mind you."
All the men began to drop their packs, but Jeremy didn't even move. He had been laying upon one of the INCREDIBLY SUPER COZY PILLOWS, apparently attempting to get some sleep, despite the short nap earlier. He absently pointed to the lamp upon the coffee table, just in-front of the sofa.
"Just put 'em under there."
Anthony grabbed his pack and threw it up in the air where it landed just short of Jeremy's face.
"You put them there."
He grabbed the other packs and tossed them one by one, trying each time to land a good hit on the kids face.
The last one made it.
Jeremy grunted at the pain of the pack's impact, then moaned as he grabbed the packs and dragged them with him over the INCREDIBLY SUPER COZY PILLOW.

Doesn't apply to conversation.
I am now confused.
Also, can we please take this over to the discussion thread?
“aaaargrhhhh!!!” yelled Mark as he felt about a dozen bee-stings on his nose. Flinging Draigo into a wastebasket and dumping the rest of the force in too he carried it to the bathroom and locked them behind the thick doors of the cupboard and washed his face. clearing the blood out of his mouth he began to feel for the tiny metal fragments. He did not relish asking some miniature medic to remove them…
vio pointed over to behind him. "i thought we were inside already, huh. theres the door right there that leads to to the living room or the kitchen.were going out that window there to get to the forest. if you want to speak of any alliances you can meet me in an hour or 2 in the sun room. make sure to tell my men "giant green bitter thing"(pickles!) for safe entry."
with that vio called to continue marching on. he hoped that the masked humans hadent shot his scouts...
Kern continued to watch the garden, there was a lot of action going on over there, he was glad that the battalion had gotten out of there before hand.
His attention was again turned to the slopes that led up to his trenches. Were those Tau coming up towards them? They seemed to be scouts of some sort, no doubt come to give Kern a message of some sort. Kern let the aliens get up to the large stone cliff face and looked down at them.
"Do you come in peace or in hostility?" He shouted down to them. "Because let me tell you, you are severely outgunned."
the tau scout looked up at the human "true, but ive got heavy support coming in behind me and others of my squad on standby ready bto shoot you if you shoot me.sorry, yes,i come in peace.my leader shas'O'vio is on his way to talk about an alliance." then, turning, the scout walked off and was followed by Several others that came out of nowhere, one came from right behind the human leader. "he will be here in about 4 minutes!"
------------------------------------------
vio looked out at the human standing on a rock.motioning,he and his small force walked up to him. "hello masked human...sorry,never got your name. im shas'O'vio, leader of this army of warriors,we come to talk of an alliance. with a group of necrons large enough to over power and kill a giant about,i think its a good idea to say the least."
Kern stepped aside as the scout jumped down from the wall. He looked around at all the kreigsguard that stood around him flabbergasted. Kern shrugged.
"Stealth suits, well played, xenos..." He said to himself and then called to the leaving scouts.
"Very well, I will await your commanders parley!"
"Heretics and xenos looking for alliances? What kind of world did we drop into sir?" One of his men asked.
"It has concerned me too, these necrons must be a rather big deal to them, you all remember that match last year?"
The kriegsguard shuddered at the mention of it, the way that monolith had carved into the guardsmen was something to be dreaded, but this time they would be ready for them.
A few minutes later the leader of the Tau walked up and got Kern's attention, also speaking about the necrons.
"My name is Jakob Kern, you may adress me as such." Kern said looking down from his emplacements. "What are the terms of your proposed alliance?"
As the Irishmen advanced toward the noise of running water they inflated several rafts. They would be going downriver soon it seemed. As they arrived, they noticed that it was easily a hundreds-foot drop to the hundreds foot deep river. “Damn.” Muttered the captain. “Alright men. Lash together the tanks, and make a raft with logs!”
when they had rappelled down the rock wall they began to load up.
When they had made the small fleet they set off toward down the river, their weapons panning the banks for more cats the scimitar tanks, with blowup rafts around their sides and plowing up water with its treads.
Without warning, one of the scorpions disappeared in a flash of water and scales.
"well, jakob kern, we request mostly a 'come to my aid when i call' alliance, but information trading would also benefit us.after all,you know this forest better than us,but we know the inside of the house better than you. any other things you wish to add ill happily hear them."
Kommando sergeant Biggunz stormed through the concrete and steel sewer tunnels, with his kustum shoota panning back and forth the kommandoes behind him were dragging sevral bodies of the endless hordes of vermin that resided in these tunnels. they were part of rouge WAAAGh!!! That had been alive for almost a month for some reason. They knew these tunnels like the backs of their shootas.
The dead ratz would make fine tents when they got back to the kamp. Without a sound something moved in the darkness. “oi!” Yelled the sergeant at the top of his lungs. “oo iz yoo?” instead of a reply came silence the seasoned commando knew something was up “bugblasta! Git wit yer burna up ere roit now!” “commin boss!” came the reply within a second the flamethrower fired out streams of liquid fire. Illuminating the sewer for all to see.
The cigar clamped between Biggunz teef dropped out wreathed in flame were dozens of skeletal figures with massive clawed hands, and animal pelts adorned their frames while the leaped forward and gutted the firs commando to fire. The orks rained bullets on them like a typhoon and managed to destroy about a dozen beyond repair but were quickly overwhelmed Biggunz realized that he would never get out of this alive so selecting the biggest bomm in his rucksack he charged into the metallic ranks, with one final cry of “WWWAAAAAAAHHHHGGG!!!”
Deep in the shadowy depths of Mark’s garden, a hole sinks into the ground as the sewer is blasted open. The Kreigsmen, not half an hours march from the spot look up at the sound of the detonating device, while in the jungle, the first clawed hand grasps at the edged of the hole.
"That would be beneficial, Vio." Kern called down. "I agree to your terms but also request that you keep a look out for any other guardsmen in the house. If you find any, please send them my way, the yard must be made defensible."
Just then a rumbling was heard and felt across the yard and a plume of smoke shot up from the garden, it seemed something had come up from underneath it. Kern grabbed his scope and pointed it towards the garden, what he say terrified him. Metal beings carrying strange green weaponry and others with bloody skins draped over them with huge claws began to spread out and grow in number. Kern cursed loudly.
"The necrons are upon us! Sound the alarm and get to battle stations! Ready the artillery, the enemy advances!" Kern began yelling, men all around him began to dive into the trenches and ready their weapons.
"Vio!" Kern called to the Tau. "The necrons are at the gates! Gather your forces for their attack!" He yelled and went to go prepare his own forces.
vio turned instantly at the explosion, then heard jakobs request. "smart move, broadsides! swerve to the left onto that small hill to give more heavy firer! scouts! take explosives and hit them in the rear! everyone else, forward assault! ill call the rest of my army! you, jakob, call any allies you've got! *call ing HQ* the necrons are in the backyard! i repeat in the backyard! be get everyone here now!"
The front trenches were firing full blast but it seemed like nothing was happening to the necrons, they were just walking through the fire like it was a spring rain.
"Direct heavy fire! autocannons, meltas, plasma! Give it all you've got men! For the Emperor and for Krieg!" Kern yelled, his men echoed his cheer. All of the armor was now engaged, every single man under his command was firing some sort of heavy weapons at the necrons.
"Prioritize targets! Take out the big ones first!" He yelled, his Commissar was also shouting, the entire line began to sustain a withering salvo of fire at the uphill advancing necrons. The artillery continued to rain upon them, blowing metal skeletons this way and that. At the top of the stone wall, Kern waved his power sword and shot his bolt pistol into the advancing swarm.
"Sir! The tau report that a monolith has come up, its advancing on the line!" His vox officer shouted. Kern thought quickly and then bolted back towards the command bunker and up into the parapet of his Stormblade. His plan was risky but something needed to be done.
Kern shouted at the giant tank to plow into the front and aim for the monolith, waving his power sword at the enemy, his standard bearer stood next to him, holding the regimental banner in the breeze for all the troops to see.
The Stormblade charged, its weapons firing massive amounts of firepower and its main gun charged and blasted its powerful plasma shot at the monolith.
"Dats sum 'ard boy dere." said boss Blastgunz as he watched the kreig commander order his big booma forward, screaming,
"DRIVE ME CLOSER! I WANT TO HIT THEM WITH MY SWORD!"
As the necron hordes smashed into the trench lines of the DKoK, boss Blastgunz knew which side he would take. The one that had more enemies. He disliked fighting multiple opponents because it meant you didn’t know which one you killed, and where was the fun in that? Besides, maybe he could get some of those nifty green shootas that the shiny boyz liked so much. Shrugging, he raised his kustum shoota and bellowed out the praise to the gods.
“WWWAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!” his army took up the call as well. The roaring, charging, shooting, blasting, chopping, screaming, howling, flying, rolling horde of orks streamed out of their base under the tree roots near the trenches. Gretchin gunners cackling and blasting away at the advancing silver horde and fighta-bommas blowing great gouges out of the lines.
as vio shot down another necron,he felt a rumble. "oh feth..." he said as he saw the monolith appear. "you! go inform the humans! keep firing men, hold your ground! reinforcements are on their way!" as he said that an explosion sent him flying. hitting the ground, vio vision went hazy. as he stood,he saw explosions at the back of the necrons force and burst cannons going off. looking around,he saw his force being pushed back. "dang, retrat and form up with the humans in the trenches! we cant hold them with are numbers!" as he ran a kroot picked him up on its mounts. as they reached the line he saw the humans massive tank charge forward. "may the greater good prevail for you..." but just then as if to awnser there prayers, sevral powerful rounds slammed into the side of the monolith. looking over, vio saw the rest of his army on the left side of the necrons. his tanks, all the other broadsides, and XV8 suits were pounding the monolith. the pathfinders were using teir railguns on the heavier ones.and all the others were firing at whatever was closest!yelling to his own mean and his human allies, vio aid "keep fighting men! let us win for alll are goals!" then,as if to be even more blessed,a horde of orks slammed into the sother side of the necrons. "ummm....for the WHAAAGH TOO!?!?!??!?!"
ineptus astartes wrote:you forgot the green tide slamming into said 'crons...
(im going with he is caught up in the chaos of war and plus seeing his own men arrive on the complete other side of the enemy lines kinda distracts form that,ya know? plus you ninja'd me and thats not very nice. ill go add in alittle, wont be much though.)
Mark looked out of his window and into a scene of carnage. Peering out further he said.“What are-NECRONS?” he almost screamed. “phillip walked in. “what is with you with all this damn shou-HOLY FETH! NECRONS!”
Within a minute, they had loaded up their gear and opened the door. mark had a nail gun and his fire poker. Along with a pair of water balloons filled with Lysol, and a bag that had sevral swearing minis inside
. Phillip had a water gun that was filled with the same fluid, as well as a golf club and a can of RAID.
When he looked at the battle raging all over the yard he wished he hadn’t sent his dogs to his mom’s house for the time. Selecting a Lysol balloon he flung it at the nearest of the tree monoliths, but a stray gauss flare removed the balloon bit and sent volatile fluids all over both armies.

As he grew disinterested in the children in make-up, he pushed the 'up' button on the remote, where he entered a channel called "Boomerang". This show contained a strange bald man, short, with a melta gun and commissar cap. The character looked to the screen and put his finger to his lips.
"SSHHHHHHHHHHHHH." he intoned. "I'm hunting Hewitics!". Thomas groaned. "What are we wat-" that was as far as he got, as Anthony's fist planted firmly into the man's face.
"SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH WHILE THE COMMISSAR IS WORKING."
The commissar on the screen approached a hole, wherein a Chaos Marine with unusual horns appeared, munching on a strange vegetable.
"EEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh" he said, "WHATS UP COM-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-". Whatever he said was drowned out by the screaming from his vox, as he melted via the commissar's melta gun.
Kern's vision shoo, he was face down on the found as he tried to pick himself up. As he stood, he saw the ruins of his beloved tank, on fire, the crew burning alive from the hit it had taken from the Monolith. All around him, his men shouted, the gunshots continued as did the strange zapping of the nercrons weaponry. Kern pulled out his power sword and activated its sparking blue field. With his other hand he found the regimental banner still clutched in his standard bearers dead hand on the ground.
The screams of his men filled his ears as did the explosions of his tanks, it was over, the line had been broken and he was goin to die here...
Not before he took some of the metallic bastards with him. Kern ran towards the nearest group of necrons and slashed his sword through one, two , three metallic bodies, cleaving them in two. He held his sword high.
"To the last man, with the last round! The Krieg way!" He yelled for anyone who may still have been alive to hear him. He turned, in front of him stood the most terrifying necron he'd ever seen, before he could swing his sword around, the thing's staff stabbed into him with cold efficiency. Kern fell to the ground, impaled, gasping. So this was how it ended, he thought.
The Necron Lord raised its staff to stab him, when quite suddenly, it began to rain, not water, but chemicals. Kern's chemical protection was suiting him well, but as his vision faded, he watched the Necron Lord begin to twitch and fizzle, it appeared the chemicals didn't agree with him. With blood spurting out of his mouth, Kern rallied his muscles for one last attack and stabbed his power sword up through the Lord's neck, chopping its head off.
Kern became still as the Necron Lord fell over, as his vision greyed out, he laughed...
death.death everywere. jumping over an ork here, using some humans as cover, dodging tau flying body parts. then it rained. as vio shot threw a few metal freaks,he saw the human commander fall with a big metal beast. "dang! dont let up men! as long as one man stands nothing is lost! for the greater good!" as the strange rain damaged those it hit,vio was careful were he stepped. "oh,feth im an idiot!" pulling out a handful of EMP grenades,he activated them and chucked them one by one. as they hit and necrons fell deactivated, vio charged forward. jump kicking one he fell back with the thing qlmost looking confused. luckily he shot it before it shot him. getting up and looking around,he saw the color giver and his friend stomping and shooting the metal monsters. "the great color giver and his friend the giant lazy one have come to are aid! we shball win this,FOR THE GREATER GOOOD!" as he charged forward,he smiled at the echo that was his troops.
Marduk laughed as he watched the decimation of the humans. The tau on the other hand were doing fine. The orks were being slaughtered. Marduk wanted the kriegsmans supplies and vehicles. The whole annoited had been assembled and been told the plan. It was a lightning strike and retrieve followed by a rapid escape. All the landraiders and rhinos had been prepared. The rhinos had battle brothers armed to retrieve vehicles, by force. "Retrieve any vehicles no matter the race", Marduk had said. He was in a landraider with his Coryphaus. The convoy wrapped arond the combat shooting at necrons but not anyone else. Then thy stopped when they got to the kriegsman lines. The annoited jumped out of the vehicles and jumped into the tight trenches. Their bulk allowed only two to travel down the trench at a time. Kol-Badar laughed as he backstabbed the kriegsman and slaughtered them. The combat was so thick that no one noticed the terminators until it was to late. The vehicles which had been held back to keep the them intact were practically unharmed, but the chimeras had sped forward at the beginning of combat were lying as burning husks from the necron. Marduk impaled a guardsmen on the spike of his crozius. The capture teams were just getting to the vehicles. Marduk watched one team open up a leman russ and torch the crewman. Screams could be heard as the crew died. This was happening all down the line. Ten minutes later and it was heating down. The necron were slowly killed. The tau sustained minor damage using range against the short ranged necrons. The orks were unknown because of their numbers. The kriegsman were halved. And had lost all their vehicles. The chaos gained ten leman russes and twenty basilicas. They had retreated around the battle and were already on their way back to the base. Marduk smiled as he looked at the head of the commisar.
vio looked around.they had won. the necrons were either dead or retreating. heading back he sees the dead human commander. "men, bring his body to the garden. a brave warrior like him deserves to be buried." continuing,he sees a chaos terminator in the trench. "*com* men, this fight might not be over. dark humans in the trench. if they attack kill them." turning around, vio heads to were most of his remaining forces have gathered. "good job men,how are are losses?"
"heavy shas'O'vio, very heavy. one tank left and only 1 broadside team left.plus infantry is dropped massively..."
"understood. gather what guns and ammo you can and take them back to HQ with us." then turning to the giants, vio said "great color giver, great lazy one,we thank you for your help." and with that, the tau gathered what they could and went back to the HQ.
(whats left of my army from all the battles...:/
16 tau fire warriors(2 teams),12 human fire warriors(1 teams),34 kroot(3 teams),8 kroot riders (2 teams),7 kroot hounds(1 teams).
Boss Blastgunz was setting up his new kamp overlooking the kreigsmens old trenches. He had gotten most of the vehicles and equipment including a fair bunch of new tankz he was trying out his new gun that he had taken from of off them ‘chaoz champeeunz’ and several of the vehicles torn off stormbolters hung at his hips.
He ha managed to salvage the min gun, secondary rector and chassis of the stormblade and was having it refitted with a backup diesel engine for ‘more powa’ along with bolting on some dozer blades. His thousands of boyz were now each armed to the teef and the gretchin were learning how to use the ‘zakka gunz’ taken from the kreigsmen while the tau gear was joyfully torn apart and reassembled by the big mechs some of the shiny boyz gunz had been taken but most of them had disappeared along with the shiny boyz themselves. Peering down at the chaos boyz looting the trenches below him, he lit a cigar, and took a deep draw.
now all he needed to do was se if Gork and Mork were going to give the boyz sum help wit their flash. he hd see the two rampaging through the battlefield, as big as gargants.
Marduk gleemed at his armor from the walls of his base. They had managed to salvage two chimeras and a single tau tank (of what varient was uknown for it had no turret). The leman russ's were being disassembled to make something. And the basilicas were being placed into position. Except for ten which were also being disassembled. Marduk was going to reserve the tau tank for himself. He like the tau and their advance tech. He grinned as he saw darioq-grendh'al looking through the vehicle bone yard. He knew that the tech daemon was going to make something awesome.
“oi! Boss!”’ called blstgunz to Gork. “Yoo wan us ta krup anyfin?” as a warboss, he could speak freely to the gods, while the others bowed and scraped. “What?” thundered the massive Gork “no, not at the moment…exept, try killing the last of the shiny boyz.” Blastgunz grinned. “Soz kin we WHAAAGH!!!?” Mark rolled his eyes. “whaaagh to your heart’s content.” “WWHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” came the howl from the greenskins, as the charged into the jungle, with their new flash pounding away at the soulless warriors. ********************************************************************************************** “hay! Yelled big nob Warork, as they returned, pointing at the chaos lines. “dyez got sum of Flash!” “kalm ya thrustas Warork it just dere haul ‘o da loot, we gotz mor anywayz," said Flashgunz "anyways, dat is just-just-just a-a-a parsnip-wait no…parlay? Nuh-uh…parlsely? Nope…pilfering?...cant be, dats anuvver wor fer lootin roit? Gee…whuts da wurd…oh, yeah! PALTRY! Dat it! PALTRY sum!”
In the humongous bedroom, a single silver figure crouched; hidden. He scanned the area for hostiles and potential threats. He found none. With that, he sprinted across the open ground as fast as he could before reaching his target - a blade of unrivalled value that had been left behind by accident. Justicar Sontaro reached the revered blade, which hummed ominously with hidden power. He was about to pick it up when his super human senses noticed something. He spun on the spot, raising his left arm and releasing a hail of high-calibre explosive shots as he did so. A line of Moria Goblins dropped, but dozens more charged, screaming madly.
Sontaro charged, roaring a battlecry of his own, a hateful curse upon his lips as he continued to gun down the humanoid greenskins. Arrows impacted and broke upon his steadfast ceramite battleplate as .75 calibre Bolter shells found their mark and detonated within the charging Goblins. Soon they met, crude iron and steel clashing with annointed blade. Sontaro cut down enemy after enemy, expertly dispatching them in a whirlwind of fury. His crackling Nemesis Force Sword was more than a match for the Goblin weaponry and it cut straight through them with ease. Those that managed to get past his guard found their weapons inaffective against his armor. In less than a minute, the Goblins were dead. Sontaro's armor was drenched in blood - none of it his own. He gathered up the Titansword, holding it reverently, before returning from whence he came.
Yarrick and his army returned to the humongous bedroom, the Armaggedoners trailing behind him in a line. The wounded were carried in stretchers in the Chimeras.
"Ok, now let's have a casualty report. How many dead?" A Sergeant ran up to him and responded.
"27 Guardsmen killed, and 17 tank crewmen."
"Vehicles?"
"2 Battle Tanks, a Chimera and a Hydra. 3 Basilisks are badly damaged and the Demolisher is out of ammo."
"May they go with the Emporer. Have the Scouts spotted anywhere to resupply?" he asked.
"Yes, a large building full of what appear to be uniform grey ammo pieces and weaponry. There's even some plastic arms, for reasons I can't imagine." Yarrick frowned at this.
"What daemonic experiments has this heretic Mark performed? And to think I almost became his friend. Why did I even do that? Emporer help me. How far is this store room?"
"About a kilometer, by our reconning."
"Good. Let us leave at once." As they left the bedroom, avoiding the body pieces strewn across the floor, they spotted an odd figure; a hulking, silver armoured man covered in strange symbols, leaving the room. Yarrick recognised him immediately.
"Grey Knights. If they've been called in, then this place must truly be infested with filth. We best not disturb him." The men walked past, casting odd looks at the mysterious man.
After 20 minutes of walking, they found the building, and resupplied. Thankfully, they encountered little trouble on the journey; they spotted the daemon-Dog wandering around, but aside from that there was little evidence of the day's carnage.
(TrollPie, I would appreciate it if you did three things:
1) Spelled good ol' Sebastian Yarrick's name correctly.
2) Roleplayed him a tad bit more realistically. A big tad.
3) Not drag my characters around when they've already left the scene.
