Yeah. As former guardsman I can tell you they are a major pain. I am surprised I was never actually shot... or then they missed. I am a sniper after all so I was quite far away from them most of the time after all.

No, and the distance we would have to be from the planet to successfully teleport(from all fluff it seems you have to be in planetary orbit not just in the system)is pretty much the same as drop pod, just more stealthy.

My thought are instead of autopilot we essentially call the iron warriors out, beautiful thing about chaos is they are so easy to goad, and since its just a shuttle they wont be as apt to just blow it out of orbit and try to kill them when they land.

I could possibly try to take a little different kind of route. Follow you from a distance or up high so I can cover you with sniper fire if needed. Would that help?

1864, I will leave that to whoever is in command of the Valkyrie group, and Kaspar, odds are the group will be seperated by miles.If nothing else 1864 I want you to drop off the group and keep moving until you are called for extraction.

Uhh I know you korpsmen aren't the best at this, but I think for now we will play it by ear(If you don't understand the term its one used to say 'we'll change the plan as the scenario changes') As for targets I think everyone should bring some laser designators, the machine spirit in the Valkyrie should pick them up and you will know where to go.

"ehm" looks verry uncomfortable about the way the mission is ordered. "as you wish i will do it. but what about these." he walks towards the holo maps and marks some places."these are AA laser destroyers. they instantly destroy these valkery's so we need to take them out first. we could drop inside this perimiter but it is limited in actions as there are multiple hardwired AA flak cannons there. of course if we do it stealthy we can destroy them without anyone noticing....... but that is just my vieuw of the situation and if the leutainent wishes something else we do as he commands."

Hey, I didn't even notice that the Techpriest fixed that, and that is a good idea 1864, drop off whoever is inside the Valkyrie and then proceed to take out the AA batteries since they are likely to shoot at us as we egress from the planet.

(A character I wanted to use in this would propably be perfect for this mission but I did not see him as a proper choice for the backstory of this RP. And using him now would mean Kaspar's demise...)

Well this is a frigate, so it may get a bunch of holes in the ship and utterly make it unflyable, but hey a nuclear explosion is a nuclear explosion, and it will utterly wipe out enemy AA abilities, and I reckon if we call in the cavalry beforehand we could get out with some help.

Ammunition crates had fallen off the shelves, probably during the Tyranid attack, so I've sorted the ammo back, taken each gun apart, cleaned them and put them back together, and got rather lost in my work... Also made sure the energy boosters to the meltaguns and the plasma rifles have their boxes tied to the shelf, I think we're pretty lucky none went critical.

... I need something to eat, something to drink, a wash-off and some rest... Actually I can wait with the wash-off until after the resting.

- Vox - Well, after fixing up the armory and seeing those power cells for the plasma guns, and then hearing someone mentioning we're going after Iron Warriors... Well, it doesn't take much effort to cause power cells to go critical, and if they go off, so will the ammunition next to them - probably the entire armory. And from what I've heard, Iron Warriors are specialized in heavy weaponry, which means heavy ammunition, which takes a lot of space, which means they have multiple large caches and armorys in their bases, no?

That way we won't have to penetrate their fortifications from the outside, shooting our way inside, but rather letting it blow apart from the inside, and in the confusion and chaos we'll sneak inside, snatch what we're after, and be gone before they've put all that plasma fire out...
