I said bachelor's, although slightly preemptively. I have one more semester to go, after which I will have a BA in Medieval Studies (recent focus is primarily on medieval literature, especially Anglo-Saxon language and lit, though I've done a bit of work with medieval political thought, which is more philosophy and theology than political science, really), with a minor in Art History. 40K isn't my only nerdy interest!
[edit] Addendum: A decent bit of this thread means nothing to me, as I'm not terribly familiar with other schooling systems (A-levels for the Brits? Is that the equivalent of the American high school diploma? Associate? Bachelor? I have no idea...) Can we get a conversion chart, or something? I think I'd have a better sense if everyone below college/university-age just listed their age (not the point of this poll, obviously, and therefor not a legitimate suggestion - just a measure of my ignorance), since I really don't know how things translate.
[second edit] I'm an idiot. I just looked back and realized that a poll choice already answered my question. XD

In the UK you start aged 11 - 12 depending on your date of birth. You must attend until you have completed your GCSE exams (age 16) by law (some exceptions can be made for vocational courses at college) and there is an option to remain in high school until you are 18 to complete your A-Level exams whire needed for university entrance in a lot of cases.

Same situation, 2nd year of college, history major. Thinking either Law School afterwards, or government work.

Boeing would be a good place to work, if you can get an offer. I can't imagine any work you would do with an associates would be much fun, though. Bachelors probably would help. But in matsci, to do anything really cool you should gun for at least a Master's.

At my school durring our second year we have an internship we can do at boeing and some people that have done it really liked it and boeing ended up just hiring them. Not completley sure if I do want to work there.
