Hi.
After a lot of hard work before Salute (you can buy our stuff at Maxmini booth this Saturday) I want to show you our new releases.
Clanking Destroyers (I'm still waiting for painted ones :( ).
This blister pack contains enough random parts to build one Clanking Destroyer. Plastic base included. Designed by Marcin "Majster" Szmyt.
And first product in our new range called Orc War II.
German Orc Heads in Helmets
Set contains 10 random heads.
Sculpted by John Connor.
Painted by Camelson.
Limited quantities of both above items will be also available on Saturday.

Stuff looks great!!! I am so tempted to buy a bunch of those Clankers to make a unit of cyborks...
REQUEST:
How about doing some "gnashing guard beasts": nasty two legged alien critters all teeth and attitude that might hang out with ork leaders ,etc.
Something like this only appropriately scaled and with your level of sculpting quality:
I'd love to see somebody do 2-3 different versions of these with some attitude, size and interesting detail.
i think ork players ( 40K, and fantasy) would be interested in these...

Post by: Gamble
I really like the cannon's carriage. The gun shield is dented just right and the wheels remind me of the original GW battlewagon's.
My only critique is the gun tube itself, especially from the front view. It's too smooth and well made IMHO. It needs something to Ork it up. Maybe some rope to hold it to the carriage... something's "off" to me.
Please note, that's just my critique of a piece I think is otherwise great.

I think IA:8 has a unit called 'Cybork Slasha squad' which has rules for 'ork cyborks'.
These parts are very faithful reproductions of many of the cybork designs and rules from GorkaMorka and would probably fit the new IA rules very well.
But they could always be generic nobz or boyz with cybork parts.

Your're right, they only have Chaos Nazis and an Ork Nazi V1 Rocket at the moment
To be precise, I am talking about WW2 German army (Wehrmacht) designs, and your concept sketches clearly show the WW2 German Field Cap (Baschlik Mütze).
Well, I am glad and a bit proud that no German miniature company has any intention to do funny Orks or Goblins with Ulan hats, as there is zero market here for ridiculing historic uniforms of our neighbors.

Well, just wanted to point out that all and only Polish companies find it funny to portray German soldiers as ridiculous brutish caricatures. Seeing it in the context that even major Polish news magazines like to portray our current politicians in Nazi outfits and the Anti-German hate campaigns by Polish nationalists, it slowly stops to be funny. I am not offended (as I hate the Nazi regime as well), just a bit annoyed. Just wanted to make this point once to give you a feedback from the country you caricature.

Some crazy, cynical bastards might instead suggest his drawings are going to be very very useful to anyone who owns a Blood Axe ork army for 40k and they definitely have nothing to do with German WW2 imagery:

I don't caricature any country, far from it. There are stupid people in every country - same in Poland. The worst thing is one of such people could be "our" president in near future :(. But I can't see Anti-German hate campaign in Poland - don't trust tabloids .

Oh yay Tommy Orks! I'd love those. Or Orks with Legion Etrangere kepis. Oh man. All in all, no matter where you come from, this whole epoch of "Our nation is the greatest on Earth", as terrible as it was, has a certain aspect that lends itself well to parody and ridicule.

Both are small auxilliary turrets for upcoming Orc War 2 vehicles, but they will look good on any sort of ramshackle vehicle you own.
Next thing is our own Ebay store. As always you can buy all our products on Maxmini Online Store but if you prefer to buy on Ebay you have now such opportunity.
You can find direct link to Ebay store on our website www.kromlech.eu.

They could be useful for scenery... Do the city fight things that allow units to move on from sewers require placing a marker? Or for an objective: It's the entrance to the bunker/secret underground lair/sewer where the turtle mutants are hiding/etc.

I'm not going to lie, that jetbike really doesn't do it for me. It reminds me of first generation Warzone miniatures, and for those reading this who missed that "great" period, that's very much not a good thing.

Post by: Alpharius
For me, it comes as close as possible the the HH "Visions" look of Jetbikes without crossing into 'actionable' territory.
It is also FAR better than I could do myself.
So again, for me, that is very much a good thing!

Post by: Alpharius
I don't know...
"Iron Shark Jetbike" is, I think, supposed to be more of a generic name, and not a Chapter Specific one.
It is better than the Old Stuff:
Seems to match the look of them as seen in the HH "Visions" series:
And while I wish it was a bit closer to this:
it HAS to be more affordable!

Post by: Ouze
nah, I should clarify, I just don't like jetbikes as presented in 40K in any format. Not OEM, not third party. The only Jetbikes I've ever liked have been from the first AVP comics (the Randy Stradley ones) - and I think those would be too big to do well - they'd wind up landspeeder size. I'm just pointing out it's not to my personal taste - it's really well done, though.

I had a lot of options here (flying base, normal round base, oval biker style base) but decided to sell jetbike without any base . You just can use any base that suit your army best. It has a round hole for most popular flying base stem ( or thick wire) underneath. It has also second hole closer to the front of jetbike. Purpose of this second hole is shrouded in mystery for now .

Alright I'll throw out a quick review of Kromlech from what I have in front of me.
The Kopesh Set
Pros: Beautiful Weapons, little to no flashing, pretty much straight as an arrow. For resin that is a big deal
Cons: I don't really count this a con because I personally like it. As you can see from the pics below these weapons are really large especially for 1handers.
Apocalyptic Rippers
Pros: Again gorgeous weapons and very detailed (two separate rows of teeth on the single edged ripper)
Cons: Large! If space marines can use these in CC then I need to be getting a +1 attack bonus for flicking around a heavy bolter. I assume that since these are so much bigger they are harder to keep straight when curing, will need a little boiling water and straightening out. One handle did snap at the hilt but that's not a problem
Overall beautiful work, good quality, fast shipping! I'll be doing a review on the jet bikes once I receive them.

All your human infantry models have APCs/AFVs to carry their gear then? Troops carry things, that is what they do. Backpacks are a much needed accessory for the woefully lightly equiped cadians.

Yup, me too - I thought of the Volpone Heavies straight away...
And I believe the "bedroll" or "bivouac" backpacks are most appropriate...if you intend to survive, you need to carry the essentials with you, and APC's can't get everywhere.

My mandollies don't need to carry their gear. They just have to look a way that appeals to me, their lord and master. : )
I happen not to like the "soldier wearing a backpack" look. I prefer the cleaner look of him in his uniform/armor without the distraction of the backpack.
Please, note that I did not insult the backpack sculpt or the use (by others) of them. I stated that they were a "yawn-fest" (though I typoed it LOL) for me. Although I did not specifically use the words 'they look good,' that was my intent in stating that they didn't look bad.

I don't see a *need* for troops wearing backpacks on the 40K battlefield. They can look really cool that way, very characterful and all, but in my imagination, if you're a Guardsman or (and this is what I would use those torsos for) Inquisitorial Henchman about to be charged by Termagants or something, you dump your backpack somewhere nearby at the first sign of trouble, because you may need to move fast, and occasionally smack things with a chainsword.

I had a package waiting for me today when i got home from work, and likewise when i opened it I was thrilled to see my order in a nice blister pack. I was even more impressed when I popped it open to examine the contents and was blown away by the crispness of detail, clean castings wth no flash or bubbles, and EVERYTHING was straight as an arrow with no warping/bends.
This was my first Kronlech order, and based upon the quality (and quick shipment) I will be making more to be sure.

I don't think they would look all that great on Cadian legs due to the bottom of the coat that's attached to the legs, but Catachan or SM Scouts might work. Hi Guys.
After two weeks silence we are back with new stuff.
Below you can see our new CM72 Plasma Rifle designed by our weaponmaster Marcin "Majster" Szmyt.
This gun is intended for human SF soldiers (you can use it in combo with our armored torsos released some time ago for example ).
We have some more human releases in the pipeline so stay tuned.
Cheers.
If you want to buy Orc Commando Heads they are now available here.

New Orc torsos will be released soon. Here's pic.
I think these are good as a base for Wild Orcs conversions or maybe for a squad of orc Afrika Korps veterans (one torso have a bullet hanging on the neck)?
Of course torsos fit most popular orc legs including our own running legs, monowheels and mechanical legs .
Sculpted by Todd Nistler.
We are also waiting for headswaps accompanying above torsos. Below you can see small teaser of things to come.
Concept sketches by invaluable Dermot McCall.

You guys from Poland never get over your private fetish, do you?
"We just released a wooden pole ... maybe for your Nazi Ork border post."
"We just released a naked human body ... maybe of an SS Obersturmbannführer."
I just hope you never do bearded Ork heads, if you know what i mean

Some brilliant sketches there. If they turn out half as good as actual sculpts, that will be a winner.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. You don't see lip plates often outside of an anthropology book or more rarely among the so-called "modern primitives" scattered among western cities.
I do have one little thing to say about them though:
<Anthropology degree>
If these are supposed to be African-influenced Orcs, the only real-life African tribes that come to mind that actually use lip plates reserve them exclusively for women. Now I know that in many universes Orcs do not have sexes or genders, but I think that these could be called "male" if one had to make a choice. That said, there are tribes in South America where men do use lip plates.
</Anthropology degree>
Sorry. After spending a year of my undergraduate degree studying body modification types across the globe, I just had to get that out.

i got some last week. And yes a perfect for 'not space marines / chaos marines'. The detail is super crisp and no flash or mold lines. Ideal for 'not plauge marines'.
I also have to say that the feral and villian heads are also great and the perfect size for 'not chaos marines or not space wolves'. On the otherhand the zombie heads are to small for power armour without looking like pin heads but would suit slightly less bulky human sized models. Also for some reason the maximini guys put a set of the cyborg bodies with my order? I didt order / pay for them. Do you guys want me to send them back? I have to say that ive placed two orders and im 100% pleased! I will be orderinp again soon!

Those greatcoat orks are seriously impressive. In fact they are so much so, that I am very surprised that you do not have a normal human scale version of them, I would imagine they would sell well.

you know after this realscale grey knights project is done, I was thinking of picking up some sort of themed orcs.
My only issue with this is I would want some of them to have super snazzey uniformed like some SS officers or somesuch and that is frowned upon =(

With the right style of helmet you could make them into WWI Tommies, Frenchies, even Doughboys. I'd like to see those variant heads offered at some point.
