Noriel sat on his master's throne, the Fallen Angel smiling to himself as he looked out upon the blasted landscape of Xa’va’Youzi. Below him, he could see the armies of Chaos battling for supremacy. It had been months since the war on Kerthouis, months since both the Necrons and the forces of Chaos had vanished from the face of the blasted world sometime after Lord X'tasir called down an orbital barrage on the planet, wiping out all signs of life from the already barren world. Months since X'tasir had battled the Star Serpent, months since both he and the C'tan vanished. Noriel had been elected to lead in their Lord's stead, until his return. He smiled, X'tasir would not return, he had seen to that. While he was contemplating his victory, the Fallen Angel felt the room grow cold, could hear a thousand voices screaming as one as if from some great distance. He felt the cold grip of a lightning claw on his shoulder, Noriel turned to face whatever held him. He gave out a strangled cry as the dark haired, handsome visage of Lord X'tasir locked eyes with him. "M-my Lord, I was not aware that you had returned, I-I was merely preparing the-" "Spare me your lies, Noriel. We both know it was you that sabotaged my ship over Kerthouis." To Noriel's surprise, the Chaos Lord was smiling. "But the Great Conspirator smiles on the liar and the traitor, if you had succeeded, I have no doubt that you would have been rewarded. But alas, you did not, and you know as well as I that the only excuse for treason is success." X'tasir increased his grip, and the Fallen Angel could hear his arm turning to powder in his grasp. "You never expected me to return, did you? Well Noriel. Here. I. Am." Noriel knew fear for the first time in his long life, a fear that threatened to empty his bowels. X'tasir smiled, and casually gouged out Noriel's eyes. "Since you failed to dispose of me properly, I have no doubt that the Changer of Ways will be most displeased with you..." With those final words, X'tasir flooded the Fallen Angel's body with unholy power, melting his flesh like wax, and charring his bones. Pushing the corpse of the throne, X'tasir settled back into the opulent chair. He looked down upon the warring armies, and smiled. They would soon learn to serve him.

X'tasir begins to transmit a message to all of the inhabitants of Xa’va’Youzi
"I X'tasir have returned. Prepare your self for a war against the Imperium of man! I will lead the forces of each tribe , clan and Warband on this planet. Seek out your greatest champion. Send them to me!"

"Vermin, hear me! The C'tan have returned, but they are weak and feckless. I myself have fought the Star Worm, and broken him! Rise up against them, the enemies of your gods! Make them know fear! Make them weep at our coming!"

The Star Serpent mused to itself from the shadows.

More worlds shall burn at the hands of my unwitting pawn...

"That Star Serpent ordered me to kill that Chaos scum X'tasir, but I was too slow, and he escaped, he shall not evade me again... Warriors! We are soon to launch an attack against X'tasir, who lost us the first time. He is the main threat in all of Chaos, so therefore we must destroy him. No longer will he unleash havoc upon worlds, no longer shall he kill anyone and everyone, for we shall kill him and all who follow him! FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!!"

"But sir X'tasir holds great power and what is this Starserpent?"

"He does it is true, but I have faced him before, with the help of a space marine, and we bested him, he was not slain however. This time, he will be. I however will not discuss anything about the star serpent in this to any of you. It is classified, and nobody needs to know about it. The starserpent however is a great and powerful force. That is all you need to know."

I whisper in my head, "Are you still there?"

The Tau cheer at the idea of killing X'tasir. Suddenly fleeing Fire-Warriors are cut down by a Unknown foe.

The Star Serpent whispers to Shas'ui

The voice fades and Shas'ui falls to the ground. All he can see is darkness. Darkness.

"Warriors of Chaos! Your time has come! We must slay the C'tan for our Gods! But first, we must build engines of war! This barren world is bereft of such resources, but the world of Defofvik IIV, a Tau stronghold, is rich in such resources. The world is heavily defended, and will not fall easily, but worry not, it shall fall nontheless!"

"Where am I? Where are my warriors, what has happened to them? I know I need to slay him, but I need my warriors to do it!"

X'tasir orders that any War-Machines and Troops prepare for the attack on Defofvik IIV. Invasion plans are made and Transports prepared. Chaos Starships are loadead with thousands of Chaos Vetrens while X'tasirs personal ship is also prepared.

Shas awakes in a pitch black realm.

Khorne Bezerkers charge the Tau gun line , many cut down but not all. Remaining Khorne Bezerkers tear throught the Tau Ranks like a knife through butter.

"Order all remaining drones to give us a hand! Stay out of close combat with the Chaos forces! Just stay back and maintain heavy fire upon them!!!"

Tau are torn apart by the Khornate Termintors while Khorne Bezerkers tear through the Fire Warrior gun lines. Brood Sides strugle to stop Hell-fire fighters and Chaos Defilers.

Once we are in the control room we block the doors with all we can.

"LISTEN CHAOS!!! I want to face X'tasir, your leader! Yes X'tasir, I challenge you! Or are you scared, just like last time...?"

"Warriors of Chaos, shatter these infidels in their homes! FOR CHAOS! FOR TERROR!"

The voice of X'tasir whispers in Shas'ui's head.
"Do not think to bait me. I could destroy you easily, but you serve me better alive. Take this lesson to heart..."
A ferocious psychic attack rips through the Tau's mind, ravaging his unprotected mind with terrifying visions. He sees a Raven ascendent over all, a serpent cut in two, sees Commorragh in flames, the Druchii bending the knee to a dark and terrible god, the Tau race left to be ground to dust beneath a spiked heel, the number 13 wreathed in warp fire, then nothing as the attack causes him to lose his grip on the waking world. Before the blackness swallows him, he hears a thousand voices laughing as one.

Sitting atop a throne made from Tau corpses, with an Etherial crucified on a banner rising from the back of the great chair, X'tasir addresses his warriors. "Children of Chaos, the gods smile upon you! You have broken the weakling Tau in their own homes, an act that will scar their racial memory for eons to come! But our work is not yet done, the Magos of the Dark Mechanicum have begun to harvest the minerals and ores that lie beneath the surface of this world, building massive daemon-engines that will make even the mighty Astartes weep in fear.
On the morrow, we march on Heroicon, their war machines are to be made into instruments of my will."

I could swear that the GM says if some players mind has been broken or whatever...

For example, I cannot say,

"Kais charges at X'tasir, firing as he goes. He slams into him, and takes out his knife to stab at the Daemon. It greatly wounds X'tasir, and before he falls unconscious, he sees Kais with out his helmet on, smiling at his victory."

I would instead have to "attempt" to do it, like saying that I charge at him, aiming shots at his head, not actually saying what happens.

I am not trying to moan at anybody, I am simply asking a question.

Also Taus minds cannot be affected by the warp seeing as they have never been connected to it. (nod)

I look forward to plundering it, but now I have not the time, for we prepare to march on Heroicon. But worry not, I shall not leave unattended. Catos, come." The Ultramarine moves with sure strides to the Tau, a sense of utter wrongness surrounds him in an unholy miasma. The Mark of Tzeentch is displayed proudly upon his helmet, and his armour seems to writhe and boil if one looks at it long enough.

"What have you done daemon? What has happened to Catos?"

I whisper in my mind,

"If I could have any help from those Necrons now, it would be much appreciated."

The Planet shakes as Shas is teleported away from X'tasir. The Cold Metalic forms of Necrons soon matrialise .

"Warriors, slaughter this metal worms! Catos, use your 'gifts' against them!"

"Okay, all Necrons I want you to go into groups and then surround the enemies. Fire everything you have aginst them! Let nothing back! Destroy both of them! I am sorry Catos, but you are beyond help now."

I whisper,

"Thank you, this will make my job much easier. How many are there?"

The Umbra in Nox noctis charge the Herald's position, their jump packs making no sound at all.

X'tasir's forces vanish in a killing mist, slaying many necrons in their passing. X'tasir himself smiles, as if he planned on the coming of the Herald, nay, as if he counted on it. "Come little slave, seek me on Charnal, our destinies shall play out their final acts there..." An image of a world held in orbit around two green stars, cloaked in oily, black clouds worms it's way into the Herald's mind. "I shall be waiting..."

On some unknown planet in the sector
"DAMM YOU SORCERER!"
A Chaos lord stands surrounded by many Imperial guard troops.
"DAMM YOU YOU COWARDLY DOG!"
A Chaos Sorcerer wacthes as his former Chaos lord is cut down by massed gun fire.
"Thank you for the Sacrafice my lord , it was needed."
He laughs and walks away as the Chaos Lord draws his last breth.
"You thought I was weak. Your greatest mistake."
Shas is left in the middle of a empty blood covered Tau base.

Chaos forces begin to harry Necron tombships, blasting them with strange combinations of druchii and human technology. On Henrou II, broadcasts from the Astartes held world cease, the final astropathic relay telling horrifying tales of daemons and traitorous battle brothers. The sector quakes in fear as great space hulks trundle out from the Warp, leaving fear and death in their wake. As the sector burns, a mocking laugh can be hear between the stars. "Seek me, if you dare..."

I whisper to the Star Serpent.

"X'tasir is gone, again. My forces are dead. Your Necrons have been destroyed. Everey time it seems to be that I engage him in a battle, and almost destroy him, but he escapes at the last minute. So what should I do?"

"I need a new arm as well. Then we must go to Charnel, to kill X'tasir."

Shas's arm is replaced by the arm of a necrons.

"Thank you. Now to go to Charnel, and to finish this fight. We must have an unending army of Necrons if we have any hope of destroying X;tasir and his forces. But leave X'tasir to me."

"Ha, Charnel lies in the Warp, a place anathema to the C'tan, you must come alone..."

Charnel lies deep in the Warp , its very soil tainted by the Raw power of Chaos. Daemons infest it in their thousands , while Chaos Space Marines and their Daemon Prince leaders plan their Black Crusades.

"I will then go alone Star Serpent, to face him by myself. Wish me luck."

Shas thinks of the Possessed Catos , once a brave ally

"He will not be forgotten. Now, take me to the battle. I must go on alone once we are there."

Shas is sent to Charnel.

"Thank you, but now I must tread on alone."

I start to walk on, and as soon as I am alone, I call out X'tasirs name. To challenge him.

X'tasir appers , his Daemonic from terrifying to any normal mortal but Shas stands strong.

"We meet again. I would like us to have a one on one fight. For honour."

Warping his form to of that of Catos, X'tasir smiles. "Oh we shall duel, but not here..." As though hit by a hammer, Shas'ui feels the air driven out of him, then a feeling as if he was being turned inside out. Opening his eyes, he finds himself in a grand chamber built of blue and golden stones. X'tasir, wearing the form of an Ethereal, sits upon a writhing throne of flesh, attended by both a Druchii Haemonculous, and an Ultramarine Librarian. A figure in terminator armour stands off to the side, his face covered by a heavy black shroud, a great force axe with runes written in the tongue of the Old Ones adorn it, and the Tau can feel the weapon's hatred for him. "Little slave, do you truly believe that the Star Worm will allow you live after you are no longer of use? He and his kind have come to cleanse the universe of life, you have not only doomed yourself, but your race, and all the sentient races in the galaxy! What if you kill me? You are trapped here, your god will not be able to find you here." His form warps again, to that of Shas'ui himself.

"The star serpent is not of my concern right now. You are. We shall fight, and the best will win. Finally this will be setteled. Shall we begin?"

"All in good time... all in good time..." He motions to the figure in terminator armour, and the hulking figure strides forward, throwing back his hood to reveal him to be Catos Sicarius. "You will not lay a hand on my lord. Prepare for your doom, degenerate!" He raises the hateful axe, and charges at you. As you look into his eyes, you see... nothing. As if his very soul had been destroyed.

I raise my rifle and fire shots into him, standing perfectly still, not fearing him.

Catos slams his Axe into the ground throwing Shas back , X'tasir laughs at this seeing it as humorus.

"Catos, what have they done to you...? No matter, you are beyond repent. I'm sorry, but it ends here."

I run allong the edge of the chamber, firing at him, no emotion shown.

Catos laughs
"What you new was Catos is no more , his body is a valuble tool and his soul screams in agony as he watchs the slaughter I commit. He begs to be put of of his misery , happly this will never happen. You will suffer a quick death however seeing as you are just a pawn in the C'tans game. My master X'tasir will conquer the Galaxy and it shal burn!"

I fire another steady shot at his head.

Catos falls to the ground , his strentgh gone and unable to move as the Old one creature and Catos's soul battle for control of his body.

"I'm sorry. Now, X'tasir, you will pay for all you have done. Let us finish this."

Displeased that his power is weakening over the Ultramarine, X'tasir stands to his full height, a terrifying form that seems to be composed of equal parts Warpflesh and malice. The room goes black, and Shas'ui can hear a distant wailing, that grows to a crescendo as X'tasir appears besides the startled Tau. "Does the Worm truly think he can topple me from my throne? Here? In my own realm? Allow me to show him the error of his ways..." Suddenly, the daemon prince is gone, and a wiry Druchii youth charges the Herald with an agonizer and a splinter pistol. He can feel the darkness closing in from all around him, the mocking playful tone so common of X'tasir is gone, replaced by a terrible rumble filled with malice. "So little slave...DO YOU STILL THINK YOU CAN KILL ME!?" As the Druchii reaches melee distance, he warps into X'tasir's true form, a towering being of protean form, constintly shifting and rearanging into a multitude of nightmare shapes.

"Yes."

I stand, in a defiant stance, full of courage, and bravery. Before, instincts kick in, and my only thought, is that I will finish this.

The Two Battle grizziled warriors stand ready to fight , both leaping into combat. X'tasir grabs Shas with his giant claw but Shas uses his dark powers to get free and send bolts of Atomic energy flying at X'tasir. X'tasir stumbles back and roars , charging Shas in a utter fury! He fires a stream of pink and blue lightning at Shas , burning and scaring his body.

"Argh! You have increased in strength. But it matters not. "

I charge a bolt, and aim it directly at his neck. Followed through by a burst of shots.

"What are you? Nothing! You are a slave! You obey your master without thought! I shall release you from your bondage..."

X'tasir lifts the Tau into the air, and he can feel his body being compacted as if he were being squeezed by invisible hands.

"No, you are the one who is blind."

With that, I release blots of atomic energy at X'tasir, with catches him off guard, and I break free. I shoot some steady shots aimed almost to perfection at his eyes.

"Arrggh! Damn you! Burn!"

Pink flames leap from the daemon's claws in a spiral pattern.

I dodge them by rolling to the side, and I leap towards X'tasir, charging myself with atomic energy, and firing shots at him continually.

X'tasir in his fury tears open a rift in the chamber allowing Horrors of Tzeentch to pass through , he screems dark words daemonic words and points towards Shas who in repsonce begins firing at the aproching Warp cretures. One of the Largest Horrors splits into multiple others each screeming parsies to Tzeencth

I fire at them with everything in my arsenal, without fear in my heart.

X'tasirs wings are torn and shatered by the Atomic blast , X'tasir whelps in pain as he is slamed into the chambers wall.

"I will not be brought low by the likes of you! Minions, attend me!" The Ultramarine Librarian vanishes in a flash of pink flame, and the Haemonculus leaps from the tower, born aloft by sinewy wings. Over two dozen members of the Umbra om Noch nochtis fly into the room, splinter weapons firing.

The Biologicly enginered Umbra om Noch decend upon Shas , his fleash already scared and torn is hit hard by the talons and splinter shots of the fly beasts.

"Humourous."

I shield myself with atomic energy

X'tasir fires a bolt of black warp lightning, and Shas'ui's atomic shield absorbs it for a time, then it begins to flicker and waver under the sheer malice behind the blast.

Shas's C'tan shield shaters in an instant.

I then absorb all the power that was shattered when the shield broke and combine it with my own energy, and fire at X'tasir in the form of a pulse rifle shot.

X'tasir appers to disintegarte in that single shot but the sound of his voice still fills the air
"Are you truley that arragent Tau?"

"No, are you? You are annoying, always running and fleeing. Now you are gone."

"No, you will die!"

Lashing out with his talons, X'tasir rakes them across the Tau's remaining biological arm, severing it at the elbow.

"I must return to my Realm Tau but enjoy the company of my Servants"
X'tasir steps through a Warp rift but soon more of his Mutated servents decend apon Shas

Using his remaining power he teleports back to awaiting Star Serpent.

"Again! He left, will this never end!?"

"He is needed , be pacient"

"Fine, what do you want me to do?"

"Go to the Pirate base near this world. Destroy it!"

Shas arrives on Henou II , he and a group of Tau servents watch as a group of Chaos marines chanting pass by.
"Join our Black Crusade of X'tasir , join the force of great X'tasir!"

"They are gaining followers. X'tasir must soon die. Come."
