Does that only include things like Meltas, flamers etc or heavy weapons, like Autocannons & HBs as well? And does it apply to vehicles?

each unit has various upgrades . if a guardsmen squad takes a flamer then the next upgrade will get them a melta, then a grenade launcher, then a stubber, then a plasma gun.
if a heavy weapons squad starts with a HB than they can get autocannons next ect ect ect.
tanks all start with the most basic armaments

Does a Demolisher cannon, for example, need to be gained as a new armament for a LRBT or is the Demolisher cannon the standard armament of a Demolisher tank? And what about Hammerheads and Battlesuits, which have no standard armament?

All tanks start with standard russ variants
the nonstandard vehicles will be equipped with the most 'common' armament

"Sound off!" Mkarth yelled to the assembled company, one by one each squad yelled for their presence to be known by their captain. Sergeant Blane marched up to Mkarth and saluted. "Company's all here sir." He said. "Good, anyone found a way off this platform?" He said, looking at a group of scouts that stood near the edges of the bookshelf the Tanith company found themselves on, nearly six feet above the ground. "Uhhh, Ven did sir..." One of the scouts reported. "Oh really, where?" "Dunno sir..." Mkarth gave the scout an incredulous look. "What do you mean you don't know?" "Well sir, Ven isn't here so the rest of us assumed he must have found a way off without telling anyone..." Mkarth facepalmed and rubbed his nose with his hand. "For feth's sake, someone get me a line to him." Soon, Mkarth held a vox phone and was trying to find Ven's frequency. "Ven, this is Mkarth, do you read?" "Loud and clear sir." Came the monotone response. Mkarth rolled his eyes. "Where in feth's name are you?" "Down here, sir." Ven replied. Mkarth looked over the side of the shelf and saw a single figure waving up at him. "Ven, how did you get down there?" "You learn a lot when your single handedly leading a pro imperial resistance against a chaos conquered world, sir..." He shot back. Mkarth shook his head and hung up. "Alright this is how we'll do it, get out the rappelling gear, we go down to the next platform, re-secure the line on that platform and then keep going till we get to the bottom, sound like a plan?" "Ummm....sir?" Blane said unsure. "The scouts are already gone, sir..." He said pointing to where the tanith scouts used to be. Mkarth looked down to where Ven was, knowing there was only one possibility. The assembled team of scouts were already down there, waving up at him. "How---those boys have been hanging around Mkoll for too long, they're starting to give me the creeps." Mkarth said finally. "You and me both sir." Blane said. "Sir, I think I see our ticket out of this chamber." Domor said from a few paces away, pointing at another platform a ways away. "Are those..." Mkarth began. "Valkyrie gunships sir, doesn't look like anyone else is using em." Mkarth smiled. "Alright lads, our destination is the helipad over there, double time, come on!" The tanith troopers began to break out rappelling gear and soon, the men were all sliding down towards the ground...

DING-DONG!
DING-DONG!
DING-DONG!
“alright! Alright!! I’m coming…jeezus…”
Mark lopped off of the chair as the minis finished hiding and opened the door a crack. You never knew when you were going to be going eye-to-eye with a bio-titan.
As it turned out. It was just the African-American mail lady. Wanda
“morning.” Said Mark “what’s in the box?”
fumbling in her bag Wanda produced a letter as well.
“I don’t know…shook like hell though” she said before
handing mark the box.
Several minutes later, Mark was crouched behind a chair, while several ork kommandos who had dedicated their souls to him should they die, crept up to the box.
Their nob, Sneakshoot, raised his chainaxe with a mighty “WAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!” and as he cut the cardboard open. Mak racked his mind for anything that he could have ordered.
There was nothing inside.
Shrugging, he moved on, to the letter. It was labeled
“Tournament Info.”

As the company formed up at the bottom of the bookshelf, Corporal Nilson, a giant of a Verghastite with scraggly blonde hair and big tattooed arms, sat next to sniper Larkin on perimeter guard.
"See anything Larks?"
"Not real--wait a minute...what the feth is that?"
Nilson looked over to where Larkin had set up his trusty long las and saw what the wiry sniper had seen. There was some sort of metal man walking towards them and it held a weapon that Nilson had never see before.
"What the feth are you waiting for Larks? Kill it! Nilson urged.
"Patience..." Larkin whispered as he sighted his rifle. The metal man held ups its weapon and a green glow began to form at its muzzle...
"Larks..." Nilson said not able to look away from the thing. Suddenly, Larkin's long rifle cracked and spat a glowing red beam which connected with the metal man's head, specifically its eye, and sent it rocking, the blast that it had charged went wild and cleaved the air above the Tanith who immediately took notice and began opening fire on the figure which collapsed backwards. Larkin and Nilson were the first two to get to where it lay, and see that it was still alive and trying to get up.
"What the fething hell is it?"
"Does it matter? It tried to shoot us."
"Well its not dead, how do we kill it?"
Nilson smiled and pulled down his goggled, aiming his melta at the twitching skeleton.
"Back up, I know how."
There was a flash of light and a puff of smoke and the skeleton was turned into bubbly goop.
"Any other contacts?" Mkarth called, when he got a negative response he spat in satisfaction.
"Alright, lets move out!"

Kiku could hear voices from all around and gun fire, it sounded like a warzone had erupted from every shadow of this cavernous construct. Reaching the top of a segmented cliff face that was perfectly balanced to make 48 individual platforms and 48 even drops a series of collosal towers rose from each cliff segment and joined way up in the distance by another glossy tower that ran along a slope down the tops of each of the cliffs towers.
Kiku could hear the voice of the Creator from far below. These cliffs stood between her and her master, and their existence was unexceptable and unsignificant. She spread her wings once again to descend down into the living room. "Descending from the skyward prison, I have been freed to re-join the Creator in his mission to vanquish many foes. I will assist him and follow his orders to the word. Living for his use, existing for his purpose, I serve the Holy Mark." She rejoiced as she drifted down lightly in the air, calling out to Mark who was crouching behind a chair with a package and a letter, surrounded by several of figures which her vision did not make out clearly at first sight.
Landing elegantly on the carpet she began to pace towards the creator and resting a hand on her sword handle with her melta pistol held lightly by her side. Looking up at the Creator as she advanced towards him and the group.

It had taken several minutes of marching, but the company had finally made it to the platform...
Or rather the bottom of it...The place where they wanted to be was stories above them now, at least by their size. There they stood, looking up at the cliff face above, wondering how to get up to the Valkyries...
"We could use the rappelling gear again and climb up." Blane suggested.
"And how do we secure it?" Mkarth countered. Blane shrugged.
"Maybe we could make some sort of grappling hook?" Fols interjected
"What and throw it up there? Not even Bragg has that kind of arm." Mkarth came back.
"What sir?" Bragg asked from behind the group of officers, hearing his name called.
"Nothing, keep watch on the perimeter." Mkarth said, not looking down from their goal.
"Maybe we could..." He began as he looked around, he noticed the scouts were again gone without a trace and trailed off.
"Aw feth." Blane said exasperatedly as he also figured out what was going on.
"Did anyone see where they went?" Fols asked the assembled company, everyone began looking around confusedly, not knowing what was going on and shaking their heads.
"How about you Larks?" Mkarth asked the sniper, reasoning if anyone could catch the scouts disappearing act it would be him.
"No, but I know where they are." He said looking up towards the cliff face and pointing. Mkarth almost didn't want to look up there but did anyway and was greeted by one of the scouts leaning over the edge and waving at him. Mkarth sighed and accessed his vox.
"Mkarth to scout, nice stunt, over."
"Why thank you sir, that was Mktayl's doing actually..." Bonin said over the vox.
"See the Valkyries?"
"Yes sir, there's a squadron up here with pilots who've been on standby for a while, they say they're authorized to give us a drop off at an LZ a few chambers over, apparently there are other soldiers over there that they thought might be Tanith."
"Your telling me those pilots saw another Tanith unit in the area?"
"I dunno sir, but from what the pilots said, the way those other soldiers acted, we reminded them of those guys."
Mkarth thought about this for a moment and finally decided finding an area with other friendlies was better than staying here.
"Alright, ask them if they'll pick us up down here and give us a hop."
"Roger that sir."
Soon, the Tanith had all been loaded into the Valkyries and they took off, floating through the vault like chambers with ease.
"We're fairly certain this is some sort of hive, from the sounds of the radio, there's an army of heretics in the underhive and an army of orks outside in the waste, according to the reports I've gotten, a guard group got pretty messed up out there, haven't heard from em since." The pilot said as they flew.
"One step at a time, flyboy." Mkarth said, looking out the open side door, standing behind the door gunner.

“turneemunt? Whut da zog iz a turneemunt?” said one of the boyz. “well…technically you guys art supposed to be alive. In fact you are supposed to be little pieces of plastic” replied Mark. “following yoo so far.” Asid boss blastgunz from his position atop the mantelpiece. All of the minis were here, including some tanith and Irishmen that Mark had found in the hallway Mark continued“and people roll dice to see if you live or-” “BLASPHEMY!” howled the model of the black templar marshal across the room. Mark Facepalmed, “what?” he asked. “ONLY THE EMPEROR CAN DECIDE OUR FATES!” sighing, Mark told him. “well as the emperor has not come around yet, there IS no imperial creed right now.” The black templar looked confused. “IMPOSSIBLE! HE IS MY GOD AND MY ONLY ONE-“ “WHATEVER!” howled Mark, “some of you, have got to learn to stand still.”
The next few days were an ordeal. He would be bringing his chaos marines, tau and guard. But the guard were conducting ‘standing drills’ the tanith scouts were appearing everywhere, the tau were practicing mag-locking their feet to plastic bases and being confused when they had not stayed on, and the chaos marines had found Mark’s liber chaotica, and dark apostle books, and were debating whether or not he has the sixth chaos god.

"sir..it seems we need bases for the suits to...." jaw dropping, vio turned to the young tau.
"WHAT. how can they even fit on those tiny things???oh,ive got it." the following scene was the battle suits either standing on 2 small bases or standing on one leg in ballerina like positions on one.

Kiku followed 'The creator' around as he delivered the message to the different races in the different sectors of what he called 'home'.
She sat on his shoulder for most of the journey and yet he didn't seem to mind, or even notice much to her annoyance.
This was a delightful way to travel perched upon the shoulder of a colossal god. Being swept through the air at high speeds with each step he took.
Through out 'home' there seemed to be almost every race for the Imperial sector back home, xenos and imperial soldiers alike. All working hard to earn the creators favour.
"O' great Creator," Kiku piped up as they finished dilivering extra plinths to the Tau forces, "Would it not be more understandable to gather the leaders and teach them how to use these," She said inquisitivly holding one of the obsidian disks.

Mkarth crawled through the dust and grit until he made it up to where Ven was at the very edge of their cover.
"All clear?" Mkarth whispered.
"Seems so, sir. The two Titans rounded up most of the other groups and took them...somewhere." Ven responded.
"But they're gone now right?"
"As far as I can tell, sir. I think they noticed we were missing but it seemed like they weren't too preoccupied with finding us."
Mkarth signaled to the men who were also on their bellies behind hm and together, they moved out of their cover out from under the couch. Soon all of the men were standing around covered in grey dust and lint. Suddenly, the Tanith were followed from their hiding spots by several squads of Kriegsmen who came out from another side. Initially, the Tanith were wary of the creepy looking guardsmen and all began aiming their weapons at the Kriegers until they put their hands up.
"Don't shoot! We're guard, like you!" One of them, a junior officer shouted.
"Oh really?" Mkarth said, waving the Tanith's guns down. "You the guardsmen that got hit by those metal things and the orks out there?"
"They came from all sides, even the heretics, not many of us left now." The Krieg officer said.
"Bad gak, that. Hows about you boys come with us back to the base camp?"
"Where is that?"
"A few chambers over, me and the lads made contact with some boys that call themselves "Scots" or "Irish" Emperor knows why, they sound just like our families back home..." Mkarth said, leading the kriegers away.
Soon they were back at the encampment and settled in. Mkarth sent the scouts to investigate the underhive and they came back with a startling report.
"Sir, it seems all the heretics, well, they're gone sir." Bonin said
"Gone?" Mkarth asked
"I think the Titans took them all with them wherever they went. That area down there stinks like one of their foul pits but its like they all just disappeared."
Mkarth got a grin on his face as an idea came to him. He called the Krieg officer over.
"How'd you and your boys like a little revenge?" Mkarth asked.
"With all our hearts, sir."
"Then grab all the explosives you can get your hands on and meet back here, I've got a plan."

Kiku stand up from having been thrown around in the car journey. She snuck in when mark was getting his models together, having not wanted to miss this. She fluttered up to one of the smaller forcefields in this transportation capsule and gazed out into unfamiliar skys.
The Giant Games Workshop sign stood resolutely in the sky infront of the shops wall. She smiled at the sight of Mark walking away towards the shop with case in hand.
Flying out through the gap he left in the capsules barrier or 'window' as he called it. She followed him towards the gargantuan building. She was careful to remain out of sight and stay close to him.
As 'The Creator' entered the building by pushing open a collosal panel, Kiku slipped in after him. Looking around at the collection of other giants that stood around holding assorted torture weapons. (measuring tapes, dice cubes, glue)
She hid behind a case as one of the giants walked in her direction, careful not to be noticed. Luckily she had brought the Obsidian disk with her and had been practicing how to remain still on it's surface. "Infiltration successful," she muttered to herself, followeing mark with her eyes as he carved a path through the crowds.

Yarrick banged his power klaw against the sides of the box.
"Let us out of this infernal cage, lest you bring the Emporer's wrath upon you!" he yelled in anger.
"Will you shut up back there? Just get on those bases and stand still when we go inside. And if I see bullet holes in anything there'll be hell to pay!" Mark answered.
The troopers felt a judder as the box was put down. Looking out a hole in the side, the men could see many more Giants walking around, and they all had the same thing in common: they were unshaven, overweight and foul smelling. Many carried menacing looking weapons: wide metal strips that stretched many inches forwards, and bottles of liquid that could fuse a man to the floor in a matter of seconds.
"By the Emporer, this place is a meeting house of heretics! Who knows what infernal games go on in here..." He said, spotting large armies being pushed around, all sharing the same poses. Imperial forces and Xenos fought together; a clear violation of Imperial creed. Many smaller giants carried Ultramarine companies, all seemingly lead by Marneus Calgar.
"This is worse than I thought. I always had my suspicions of the Astartes, but to think the stalwart Ultramarines could be so treachorous! Cloning, off all things, cloning of their own Chapter Master! And there are many more than a thousand here. Many times more. This is clear violation of the Codex Astartes that they hold so dear!" The men stared in shocked silence. Suddenly, the roof of the box was lifted and daylight flooded in. Mark and another Giant were discussing something.
"You use Yarrick? He's useless! 185 points for some minor morale bonuses." said one
"He's one of the first models I bought, second edition, of Ebay! And his paintjob is pristine. Besides, mechvets are quite competitive these days. I left the powerblob portion of the force at home..." replied Mark.
"Quite fluffy, seeing as they're Armageddoners, to use transports. I still wonder how you have such a massive collection of them. They cost 25 quid a squad!"
"I got them at second hand retailers. Now are we going to play this game or what?"

vio was getting really annoyed.the plastic eldar were horribly painted, not to mention he noticed a loaded die,but couldn't say anything. at least it wasent as bad as all those orks smashing into him. but then he saw something.something BAD. a few eldar melee warriors smashed into some fire warriors...and one tripped. as a blue bolt melted threw one of the eldar and hit its owner square in the nose, vio could barely stop from moving.
"ow! t-the hell!?!? did your miniature just shoot me!?!? i-i-it melted my eldar! wait...why did it just stand up and get back on its base!!?!?" the surprised giant said.vio did not like how this was going....

One of the anointed had forgot himself and hacked apart one of the opposing players pieces. Mark covered it up by saying he crushed it, and gave the guy one of his unpainted guardsmen from a pouch he had brought for the purpose. Now to play steel legion against nids. looking over he saw Philip (playing tau) groan and a guy staring at a firewarrior with a smoking pulse rifle.

Marduk heard the commotion. gak he said. All hell was going to break loose, in seconds. Marduk had to do something. He started calling upon his powers, and targeted the dim witted man who`s nose was shot. He erased the memory from the nerds brain and then refocused on the game as the nerd realized he had flicked himself. He smiled again.

The Armageddoners looked across the field at the tyranid horde, not moving as per Mark's orders.
After a 10-minute debate, Mark had convinced in hushed whispers that Yarrick and his men should stand on their bases, perfectly still. When they saw their opponents, tensions had upped a lot.
Tyranids, the sourge of the galaxy, face us unmoving and vulnerable. Why don't we attack? This is ridiculous. He stared as Mark rolled a dice.
"Crap! Two! I guess you go first..." Mark said.
After 10 minutes of dice-rolling and pushing models along, and 30 minutes of argueing over something called " RAW vs RAI", Mark began pushing models off the board, each one accompanied by a sigh. After another 20 minutes, Mark began rolling more dice and removing the other player's models. He thought he had grasped what was going on: if Mark rolled low and the other rolled high, his own men were removed and vice versa. He wasn't shure what the interjections about "rules" were, or the big green "Circles of Doom" did, but what he could see was that there were less Tyranids than there were Guardsmen. And, for some reason, these Tyranids didn't come back endlessly. He appeared to be winning-shots that Mark claimed, ridiculously, came from Yarrick's Stormbolter had claimed 5 Guants already and he had appearently "curbstomped" a Tyranid warrior. There was a massive die next to him, displaying a .
After an hour of dice rolling, Yarrick came face to face with a Hive Tyrant. He gulped, starring at it.
He didn't notice the Tervigon sneaking in to Mark's back pack.

Marduk laughed as Burias defeated a dreadnought in close combat again. Two good roles and a invulnerable save was all it took. Marduk then cut the laugh before it had even made a sound. His armor was powered down in a position so he was finee standing this still. Mark rolled a 6 for a wound against the last remaining terminator, followed by the owner rolling a horrible one. Marduk resisted the urge to laugh as the terminator was removed from the board and the game was ended. Four games down one more to go Marduk thought.

After a minute, Mark returned to him and dice began rolling again. Yarrick saw a 6 come up, another 6, and then a 1.
"Looks like he's dead...Oh no, Iron Will!" Mark rolled another die and got a 3.
"Yes! Yarrick isn't dead!" Yarrick cried too.
"YES!" The man across the table starred at him too.
"Did your model just talk?"
"Err...no" said Mark. Mark then began rolling dice again, frantically, and after 5 minutes the Hive Tyrant was removed from the table.
"Looks like I've won!" said Mark. "Is Yarrick great or what?"
"I don't know. You're playing three games at once here, it's really annoying to your opponents!"
"Oh, well...OK. I guess I'll put these guys back and devote the rest of my attention to these games.
Mark held out a hand, and Yarrick heard the other person mutter "douchebag. Then, he was shoved back in to the box with the rest and everything went dark.
OOC: This all happened before the incident with Vio and the Tau. I've gotta go to bed now, bye bye!

“Damn.” Said a forcibly cheery Mark, as he gathered up the rest of his models. Those firecrackers and-“MINDWIPE!” he screamed. At this, the sanctioned psykers of the imperium and the sorcerers of the CSM focused all their power into several of the geeks. Knocking them unconscious. While a group of culexus hiding in the rafters dropped onto the heads of several people and released both psyk-out grenades, and Animus blasts. Knocking them out as well. Soon the psykers began implanting he thought that a large power surge had knocked everyone uncontious and loaded up into Mark’s car and sped back to his house

Marduk cursed the damn tau. His powers could probably work on a few people but not the whole crowd. "Kol get the stormravens and the vehicles read", Marduk voxed. "Yes Dark Apostle", Kol-Badar replied, as the stormravens take off and land next to Marduk and Kol-Badar. They board the stormravens as the vehicles pull up and gather the troops. No one noticed because they all were to inticed by the tau. Stupid bastard Marduk thought, as his army rolled out of the convention center. They all headed towards some car, and Marduk had a chirmogen undo the lock on the trunk. They all loaded up into the trunk. Then Marduk moved his troops up to the front. Marduk then used his psychic powers to start the car and had his men man the pedals and the wheel. They were able to and they pulled out of the parking space. Then they took off towards the house. Kol-Badar had his navigator bring them back to the house. They had attempted to follow the speed limits and only just managed. They made it back to the house and unloaded. The car was parked at a wierd angle and Marduk didnt know how Mark was going to explain the new car, but he didnt care. They moved into their base minutes later.

Edit: Darn these tabs... And so the combined forces of the Tanith and the Kriegsguard set out, but they were not alone in this. A coalition pact had been made between the guard and the allied forces, in a meeting, they all determined that while the titans were gone, it was the perfect time to dispatch the scheming heretics that were obviously planning something. The companies of the Tanith and the Kriegers set out in the Valkyrie gunships which were escorted by a Vulture. They were supported by a few Chinooks which held anybody the Valkyries couldn't fit and those were escorted by an AH-64 Apache. And so the air armada made its way through the huge chambers of the hive, but as they passed a transparent barrier that separated the outside wastes from the inside, Mkarth saw something that made him order the flight land short of their objective. He saw figures in yellow armor, busily trying to break through the walls of the hive in very crude manners. Mkarth had the Valkyrie blast a big enough hole through the barrier at ground level for the figures to come back into the hive. "WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING WITH ALL THAT AIR POWER?!?!?" The leader asked loudly. "Going to kill us some heretics boyo! Care to join us, or are you too busy killing bricks?" Mkarth shot. "F*** THAT! THOSE BIG S*** TITANS SAID NO!" The leader came back. "Any ideas on how we can convince these guys?" Mkarth asked "Lemme handle em, sir." Feygor said rather haughtily. He leaned out of the Valkyrie and yelled in his most mocking tone. "Hey Yellow Jackets! Those heretics just wanted us to tell you they like the way your primarch wears pink power armor!" "F****** WHAT?!?!?!" Came the reply, followed by all the marines shouting and storming off towards the garage. Feygor gave a thumbs up to Mkarth. "Works every time." He said with a grin. Mkarth signaled for the air fleet to move outside. "We're not following them sir?" Doyl asked. "We'll meet em in the middle, we got some other stuff to do first." Mkarth said. The first stop was the Krieg trenches where the bodies were left where they lay. A pit was dug and the bodies placed inside, not before being stripped of all gear and placed in bags. There was a short moment of silence accompanied by the pipes of Milo and then from the sky the Valkyries and the gunships purged the former Krieg base of where the orks had set up their camp. All the orky machines of war that were not taken with them with the titans were blown up. Reports were that some of the orks had taken shelter in the jungle too so that was purged with fire as well. Outside was also found where the heretics had begun making tunnels not unlike the Kriegers had been. Teams equipped with explosives went down and were attacked by daemons which took heavy casualties, luckily for the guard, the Tanith and Kriegers had a large amount of flamers and eventually the tunnels were purged, the Hades drill was found and hauled out of the tunnels. This took a while the daemons that filled the tunnels were hard to push through but it was eventually done. "Easy when they're not around." Mkarth grinned. The assembled group eventually made it into the garage where they found the Angry Marines absolutely tearing up the place and in mortal combat with the daemonic forces. Mkarth and the junior Krieg officer looked at each other, shrugged, and charged in with bayonets fixed and guns blazing, their men behind them. Explosions flared, walls came crumbling down, all manners of vehicles were blown up. The guard forces managed to retrieve many vehicles taken by the heretics from the kriegers and most notably a single Tau tank which had been looted as well. They used the gunships to haul the loot away. The battle pitched and raged and the chaos forces were eventually driven back to their giant construct, it appeared to the guard to be a giant tank or siege engine, there was no way they could let it be used. Their fire was ineffectual however, as the thing was massively armored. "We have to get through that thing's armor!" Mkarth yelled. The junior Krieg officer was already on it, he boarded the Hades drill and led a charge into the siege engine's flank. The drill cut through it and burrowed in, followed by the remaining kriegers. While all this was happening, guard specialists were setting up charges all over the garage. "Today we wipe this foul treachery from this hive!" Mkarth yelled as the other guardsmen cheered him on. The Tanith fought their way out of the garage and back to their transports just as a car filled with chaos marines pulled up in the driveway. The Tanith laughed and jeered as they flew away back into the house... And then the garage exploded... Plumes of fire shot out from tons of explosives and the entire construct came tumbling down in a great heap, burying the chaos base, the kriegers, and the Angry Marines with it. "FIRST AND ONLY!!!" Was the cheer as the Tanith landed back at the allied encampment and the celebrations began. Mkarth watched from afar as his men shared drinks with pilots and other soldiers, he smiled and sighed holding up the cap that he had picked up, it had belonged to the junior Krieg officer who he'd never gotten a name from and who'd taken on the siege construct with the drill. Mkarth smiled and set the cap high up on a cliff face on top of a lasgun wichi had its bayonet stuck into the ground. Mkarth saluted the memorial and marched away...

I call OP. Daemons not only have invulnerable saves, but hack and slash imperial guard up, and my greater daemons would truly do huge damage. And even marines are hard pressed at close range. Plus Darioq isnt stupid. Neither is Kol-Badar. There are traps, and a central tunnel destruction system. I dont know why you guys are attacking me, and plus the whole event would have taken over eight hours, with all of what you said. I mean the ork forces would have been about an hour, the tunnel action would be another three-four hours, plus stripping the bodies another hour, the getting the drill out another 30 and transportation another 30, oh and dont forget the huge whole for the dead another 30. The whole thing would have been only half way though the whole thing when Marduk got back. From the time I used from references, would have been at least 5 hours. So I call gak. EVENT Half of his house was in ruins and he tanith were dragged out from somewhere. The angry marines had been found saying “WHEN WE FIND THOES GUARD F***ERS, WE’L RIP THEM APART!” The HAZMAT team had been called and the tanith were bolted away in a massive trunk. With all their gear confiscated down to their pants. Mark was living an a rented RV for the time being and would be moving to his parents house in Nepal, where they no longer were, having moved out but kept the house. Mark was furious, the chaos marines were even more so. They had destroyed every valkiry that the tanith owned, and a newly bought forgeworld warhound had to be bought to cull them. The orks were upset over losing a percent of their forces, and the Tau were mad that their base had collapsed as a pity call. Mark had bought sevral sets of CSM and was waiting to paint them until when he got to nepal They were boarding a Korean air flight tomorrow…

Oh hush why don't you? The only invulnerable saves we're playing here are in Mark's tourney otherwise we're going by fluff...Your greater dameons I hope would be with you and I hope that you'd also have a lot of your other daemons with you as part of your army...
Most of your army was gone, be happy I put what I did because I was planning on going through the whole thing unscathed before...You don't know why guard are attacking chaos? Hmmm, that takes a while to figure out...the event would not have taken eight hours, the Valkyries could probably make it from one part of the house to the other within a minute or so, coupled with the fact that we have somewhere around 220 men working together with air assets (150 Tanith and 70 Kriegers) I think the time from when you left to when you got back was completely justified and probably didn't take much more than two hours besides it was a frakkin 40k tourney, how long do those usually take?
I call shenanigans on your shenanigans...

Thats fine by me. My tank will now be fixed with the warhound titan. Anyhoo IC: Marduk smiled, despite boarding a flight tomorrow Mark had allowed the CSM to continue work. The tank was being repaired where the drill had dug into its thick armor. The main cannon was also under construction. Two plasma blastcannon were being fused together for it. They would become a twin linked one when they were done. The tank looked a bit odd were the back was because the warhound armor had to be cut up, but it would do. They also had to salvage the three land raiders and ten rhinos lost. They were also being used to fix the tank. The interior was big enough to hold a all four land raiders along with the eight remaining rhinos. Marduk smiled, despite losing almost all the daemons, and half the vehicles and one of the stormravens the tank was intact. That was acceptable. Later the next day. Marduk grumbled as he sat in his case. The tank was in a seperate box. He was goin to have to check it imediatly when they arrive.

Marduk watched as Mark gingerly (thankfully) took the tank out. It was massive. The airport people were po`ed about its box size, but it went through none the less, and it was intact. Marduk sighed in relief. That meant that the final repairs and it would need the main turret attached. Then it would be done. The thing was fifteen pounds, and was as long as 6 land raiders, had three cargo holds (a bottom for the land raider, a middle for the rhinos, and the top for the troops. But in the mean time between the unpacking and the getting there, Marduk had talked to the tau about an alliance, and had reclaimed the stolen tanks from the tanith while they had their pants down (Literally LOL).

When he had found his seat, Mark pulled his laptop and a small mound of blankets out of his beg. Thankfully, no one was in the seat next to him, so several minis jumped out of his pocket and began sampling the cup of complimentary peanuts, and using their ration kits to help themselves to the soda. Kiku was hoarding chocolates, Marduk the inheritor, feared scourge of the galaxy, was stuffing junk-food into his mouth like their was no tomorrow, and Vio was swimming laps in the water. (thankfully wearing clothes) Yarrik was watching a prerecoreded episode of ‘House’ on Marks DVD player , the zoat lord was rummaging through the pretzels, the kasrkin were watching 'Gettysburg' (so was Marduk, who thought it was the best thing ever, to see humans killing each other) and the lone nine surviving Kreigsmen were passing around a mini-mug of coffee. the plane began to shake as it took off.

As they neared korea, every mini present had taken a side in the civil war film that Mark had been watching, and cheering abounded when certain things happened. Marduk was the only impartial. Screaming “Blood for the Blood God!” as troops were mowed down, and causing other passengers to ask him to keep his movies turned down

Mkarth and the Tanith spent most of the flight sitting in the bags or cases and lamenting their fates. They had struck a blow for the Emperor and now they were being punished for it.
"What do we do now, sir?" One of his troops asked.
"We're the first and only, we strike and then we disappear, when those chaos feths slip up, we'll be there to show that titan how fethed up they are." Mkarth replied.
"Yeah, but first I'd just like to get my stuff back." Blane moaned.
"Got you covered, sir." Ven said from further along the bag, slowly, the Tanith's gear began being passed around from where the scouts had recovered it.
"What's our deployment orders?" Doyl asked.
"Stay as close to the humans and as far away from the heretics and xenos as possible, for now, we watch and we wait." Mkarth replied
"Can we get out of this container? I think the others are out in the open." Fols asked
Mkarth shook his head. "Heretics and xenos, we don't truck with them." He said. There was a round of groans. "Buck up lads, I've been told there's reinforcements where we're going and hell, tour's gonna be light, you all know what that means." Mkarth said in a sing song voice.
"Already working on it chief." Bragg said, holding up a sacra bottle. The Tanith began to laugh and sing to the tune of Milo's pipes and snacks that were found in Mark's bag were passed around as well as the bottles of sacra.

Mkarth began to become curious, there were sounds of battle coming from outside the holding area they were in and it sounded to him like there was some chatter up there too. Finally, he decided to investigate.
"Domor, Mktayl, on me, come on, we're going to see what all the commotion is about." He said.
The three ghosts soon climbed up to the source of the noise, the heretic leader was watching some sort of holo drama on a big screen, The tanith found themselves in the main hall of the biggest troopship they'd ever seen and some xenos were looking out the portholes at the warp outside which was surprisingly not miasmic like Mkarth had thought. This world or universe they had found themselves in was strange indeed. Mkarth marched right up to the Heretic leader with a grimace and got his attention, before the chaos lord could kill Mkarth, he stuck his hand out.
"I'm here to negotiate a ceasefire between us, simple enough, you don't feth with us, we don't blow your tank up....again..." Mkarth said and the other two Tanith chuckled.
"Whaddya say, Atlas?" Mkarth asked with a smirk.

They were en-route to Nepal just having left korea, and the minis were all passing the time differently. Marduk was watching ‘The Pacific’ while the tanith attempted to speak with him, the kreigers were staring out the window, enraptured, Flashgunz was ogling a selection of firearms in a magazine, Kiku was returning from under the seat, arms laden with pilfered chocolates, and Vio was reading a book on communism, and saying that “These gue’la have the RIGHT idea.” While Draigo was playing tic-tac-toe with one of his termies.

An indignant cry erupted from Mark's bag as Yarrick struggled to escape. Seconds later, his head popped out of the zipper and he yelled at Mark.
"Couldn't you poke a few airholes in that thing? I could barely breathe!" Marduk looked back.
"Shhhh! We're watching a movie!" Mkarth was next to him, apparently in a state of ceasefire. Yarrick noticed some odd orange food next to him; insinctively, he grabbed it and downed the entire thing. He hadn't eaten in ages.
However, as he bit down he found the thing to be rock hard.
"Damn! Stupid peanut!" He yelled, and fell back in to the bag.
"Damn, that hurt my back...ouch. That was-" Before he could finish, he heard a low growl from the cornor of the bag, and the scuttling of tiny feet. He knew that sound.
"Emporer help us all..." he muttered, as dozens of Gaunts lead by a monstrous Tervigon emerged from the shadows.
"Err, guys," he called to the other commanders, "little help here?"

Mkarth rubbed his bearded face and shook his head while the Tanith with him chuckled...
"Alright Atlas, we're even..." He said and sat down next to him to watch whatever he was watching.
"What is this about?" Mktayl asked.
"Been doing a little research on their cogitators." Domor said, his mechanic eyes whirring. "Apparently this stuff is like a documentary on some war the titans had decades back, the tan colored ones with the swords lost to the white colored ones with the autoguns and that's why their country is so small." He finished, shrugging.
There was a part in the movie where one of the Marines began firing into the night with a heavy machine gun held at his hip and he killed many enemies.
"Damn, those titans don't mess around do they?"
"Got that right, sir." Ven said appearing next to him, Mkarth looked at him, spooked.
"...I'm not even going to ask." He said.
"It'd be better that way, sir." Bonin said from behind him with the rest of the Tanith scouts were now seated. Mkarth shrugged and went back to watching people get killed.

As the small force of Tyranids fell upon the surprised Guardsmen, cutting down dozens instantly as frantic Las fire killed a few Gaunts. Worse was the raging monstrosity that crashed into the Imperial forces, causing destruction in its wake. None could stand before it.
Then there was an inspiring call from nearby, "Stand firm, soldiers of the Emperor!"
Lord Kaldor Draigo raised his storm bolter and expertly killed four Gaunts as Justicar Sontaro's Purifiers took up a battle stance around him, aiding the Guardsmen. The Tervigon turned its attention to its new opponents as more Gaunts burst from within its massive hide. The brood-mother roared as it stomped towards them. Kaldor and his accompanying Knights began chanting the Litanies of Hate as they charged. Psychic flame embroiled and encompassed the Gaunts, killing the majority. Those that still stood were swiftly cut down. Draigo himself tackled the fearsome Tervigon. Mighty though it was, it was no match for the Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights. He sliced through a scything talon before decapitating the monstrous creature with an expert Coup De Grace with the Titansword. The bleeding carcass of the Tervigon slumped to the ground, convulsing as it died.
Draigo turned to his men and the Guardsmen, who were cheering with victory.

The tyranids lay dead around him, and Yarrick whiped the sweat from his forehead.
"Thank you!" he called to the men standing around him. Apart from Draigo, to whome he simply muttered, "fething show off."
Looks like their was a lot less than I thought. Just a few dozen. If their were hundreds...that would just be ridiculous. Yarrick thought, before climbing back out the bag and perching on the side of the seat.
"Oh, God damn it!" Mark whispered furiously, seeing the blood and bodies splattered around his bag. "This'll take ages to whipe up!" Mark began rummaging through his bag, leaving Yarrick free from his influence for a while.
The show about the odd-looking fighter-Giants was over. Now there was something different on; something about a fat, moustached man who raided people's houses, all the while shrieking "Go compare!". Then he, thankfully, disappeared and there was something about a meerkat and his malfunctioning machine. Why doesn't he get a Techpriest to fix his "Website", rather than using this unsanctioned tech-heresy? he thought. Then at least 15 different people asked him,
"Are you paying to much for your car insurance?" and a new programme came on. There was a short musical intro, then the main feature started. It appeared to be about a heretic, a pervert and a strange, snivelling creature.

It took the Tanith scouts a few minutes but they finally cleared all of Mark's carry on luggage and reported back to Mkarth with negative contacts.
"Xenos purged." Mkarth said up to the titan with a thumbs up sign. He then waved to the Grey Knights.
"Nifty work with those bolters of yours! You'll have to teach my boys how to do that some time!" Mkarth said in a good natured jab, when the Grey Knights ignored him the Tanith just gave a dismissive gesture and went back to laying low as Mark was beginning to draw some glares from around the cabin.

Mkarth was laying back in the bag and smoking a cigar when the top opened and the Grey Knights were thrown in. It appeared that their leader, a terrible being to behold in his own right which the Tanith backed away from, was about to try and get out again.
"Wouldn't do that if I were you." Mkarth spoke, breaking the hushed silence that had been in the bag before. "The Emperor may be our protector and Lord, but here, that Titan holds the power. You try anything and he'll squish you like those bugs." He said, ejecting a plume of smoke out from his lips. At the mention of the Emperor's name, many of the Tanith and other assorted guard inside with them made the sign of the Aquila and stayed well away from the Grey knights, only able to look on in awe or surprise, waiting for a response.

As Mark got out of the cab that had brought him here it began to rain, the time was about 1:00 PM and when he had unlocked the inner gate, and the front door mark bumped his bags in the living room and began to fix lunch. “Jeezus Christ,” he muttered, “flying halfway around the world with a bunch of hyper-violent, inch high, nutcases.” The various armies were still in their bags, picking up the one that contained the unruly tanith, Mark dumped it into the lowest point in the houses. The downstairs bathroom, it was about one meter sunken into the ground and with Plexiglas windows and pipes, a toilet, a showerhead (bathrooms in Nepal usually are one room without a bathtub that require you to simply stand there in the shower, looking at the sink and toilet while the water goes through the drain in the middle of the room.) it was also infested with roaches the size of a computer mouse, and massive spiders.
The tanith would be in there until they found their way out into the lizard, rat and snake infested yard.
Locking the door on the protesting guardsmen, he flopped down onto the couch and let the others pick their own rooms..
The tau got the kitchen, wich they were pleased about, as it gave them good lines of long-range fire, the orks all ran outside into the ‘moat’ that collected gutter water and fed it through a tangle of pipes and purifyers and began to set up camp in the gutters and pipes.
The zoats got the pit with the swinging ;trapdoor’ that used to be a well until it dried up, the others were indicesive.

here is the undressed parts of the outside. when you see them, take a carful look and when you write you can go back and actually know the layout of the terrain
the front yard
(notables: 'moat')
 0
the right side yard
(that is my cousin, not terrain)
left side yard (there is a pit there, as well as the well. so don't go digging, on the concrete unless you want to fall down a 20 foot hole. in theory, the pit in the middle made of concrete, could be an easy way of accessing both the pipe system, and deep underground tunnels)
the back yard (it contains a place that amounts to a stone storage shed) has incredibly thick vegitation, as well as the only bridge over the moat.

Their current prison slammed down with a thud - an Earthquake as far as the miniatures were concerned. Everyone began picking themselves up, the Tanith and other Guardsmen in a state of shock; some stunned, even the strongest still lay splayed on the ground as they struggled to regain their wits. The Grey Knights, however, lacked any such mortal frailties and assembled around their leader almost instantly, watching as Lord Draigo, filled with righteous anger, began to cut a large section of the black prison's wall out with his blade; his Paladins following suite. Once the hole was big enough, Draigo kicked it down and marched out into their new surroundings. His genhanced vision had no trouble adjusting to the change in light.
The rest of the Grey Knights began advancing out of the prison - with increased gusto when they heard sounds of combat. A host of massive Roaches had quickly scuttled towards what they considered potential prey - their mistake.
"Engage hostile xenos in mêlée only - we must conserve ammunition!" Draigo ordered.
A brutal combat unfolded, with the Grey Knights using their powerful Nemesis Force Weapons and Psychic powers to overwhelm and kill the Roaches. Few injuries were sustained and there were no casualties as the beasts were driven off. Still, other creatures lurked in the darkness.

Mark knew that the outside would be a deathtrap for inch high men, with what amounted to landraider sized lizards gobbling them up, but for the moment he simply deposited the leaders in the living room and let them explore the house, before entering his own room and shaking a few ‘stealers into the drain in the middle of the room, knowing that they would most likely appear the next time he washed his dishes. (one of the bathrooms, the only one with a tub, is connected to Marks room) sitting down, he watched a few kommandoes emerge from a pipe on the balcony outside his window and promptly get attacked by a crow. 'besides,' he thought to himself, 'the unpainted models, bitz crates, and boxes of troops I have been meaning to open for ages have yet to arrive on the cargo plane.' he thought.

he has come to life. and as such, is a living being which is harder for the gods to pull into the warp, that, coupled with the fact that he STARTED as a corporeal (in this timeframe) makes it almost impossible for the gods to drag him back/forwards (and anyways, he is a plastic mini come to life, the laws of physics already went off and sulked in the corner two pages in)

But the chaos Gods would have no interest in pulling the Daemons back into the warp which I don't believe should exist in the form we know it.
It's one thing to have your models come alive because of dodgy paint you bought off of a Chinese bloke down an alley, and a whole other to start imposing fiction upon existing reality.

Marduk popped the latch on the case. The daemon had already left, but Marduk wasnt so barbaric. He climbed out and dropped onto the floor. Then his whole host dropped dwon next to him. All 250 CSM(includes havocs), 40 terminators, 40 daemons, and 50 various CSM. The host had truely takin a beating. They had lost half of their vehicles, and most of the daemons, and about 100 marines, and 25 terminators. That was detrimental for the fact that they had only recovered half of the deads gene-seed. But when the bitz box gets here they`d replenish a few numbers. But the tank was worth it. That thought brought Marduk right back to reality as he walked over to the box and cut it out, with a melta. The tank was intact other than for a few antenas broken, but those could be replaced. Marduk had Darioq come over and activate it. Marduk smiled it worked.

The Armageddon host marched in to the building. Yarrick, seeing the defendable point that the 'den' would provide, had immediately gathered his forces and set out.
"Alright. I want Heavy Weapon teams and artillery batteries stationed atop that cliff," he said as he pointed at the coffee table, "and scout teams stationed in that cave to keep a lookout." He directed them to underneath the sofa. "The rest of you, head for the gap in between the top of the cliff, and the floor. You see, in that giant table-like structure." A platoon of camo-cloaked veterans, accompanied by sentinels and with Chimera transports, headed to the sofa, while a ramp was formed to allow access to both platforms of the coffee table. "If anyone tries to take this place, give 'em hell." The men looked nervous at this; a single Sergeant was brave enough to step forwards.
"Commissar, what if the Giant or one of his canine companions enters? We won't stand a chance."
Yarrick was enraged by this lack of faith. However, he had learnt long ago to earn men's respect, not their fear.
"I will not accept cowardice in my force. But I will neither accept follishness. If a Giant enters, Ordnance and Heavy Weapon emplacements will slow him down while the rest of you run for cover." The men seemed happy with this. Yarrick was pleased.
"Good. Now bring the remote to me; it's time for some entertainment." With that, the exhausted Armageddoners cheered and went to work.

But wait the bits box isnt here? I could have swore Mark had said it hadnt arrived yet. Anywyas. Oh and my bad Darko I meant 250. IC: Marduk watched as the tank slowly moved out of the house. They came to the front yard and saw a patch of land. It was small but against a brick wall so it would be pretty easy for defence. Marduk had his host move to the wall and start setting up base. A bunch of bricks had fallen off from an earthquake a while before they arrived and they used them as the walls. The landraiders were hauling them all into a box against the brick wall. Then the rain picked up from a drizzle to a downpour. Marduk stopped all the work and had the host hunker down in the vehicles. The tank was big enough that it wasnt going to get swamped but the landraiders and rhinos would, so Marduk had them sit out the rain.

It was raining like hell outside when Mark got out of the bed.
hearing a splashing noise from the other upstairs bathroom, Mark walked in and cautiously opened the lid.
A squad of plague marines swimming laps waved right back at him.
“figures.” He muttered, and flushed the toilet.
Walking downstairs, he passed the den, where he could hear Yarrik shouting.
Mark yelled. “Oh no you don’t! That is MY TV!” And ran in. several heavy bolters on the coffee table, began to fire, picking up the nearest item, a letter holder, Mark flung it at the panicking guardsmen.
The heavy iron object crashed into their sand bags by the time their officer was barking out orders, and plowed the weapons off of the table, smashing one to pieces.
The officer was hit by the handle of one of the letter knives scything through the air and flung off as well while papers flew everywhere. On knives lodged itself in the legs of a sentinel, and nailed it to the sofa leg. When the lascannons mounted beneath the TV began to fire. Mark slammed the door, leaving the guards to clean up the mess.

Marduk sighed when the rain lightened up. He waited a few minutes more and it subsided all together. Merduk walked down the ramp of the tank and had the men continue their work. Next to the base a big land of area was being reserved for the tank and its construction. The turret was currently being brought out from inside. It looked magnifisent. Two plasma blastcannons linked together. That could drop the daemon prince Mark, but Marduk didnt want to enrage anyone, so he quickly pushed the thought away. Marduk then looked at the tank. It wasnt painted yet and had no chaos symbols or add ons yet. Marduk actually was going to keep it that way to allow the imperials the relief of having to worry about it being a mindless chaos engine.

(Alright I'm gonna take a few minor liberties here, standby)
Mkarth looked around, this hive was a lot different than the last one they were in. This chamber was dark, damp, and it stank. Mkarth could hear the groaning complaints of his men behind him and turned to them.
"Sound off!" He yelled. Soon, everyone had declared their presence, including two groups that had been dumped in the bathroom with the Tanith unknowingly. Mkarth noticed there were the nine Krieg stragglers and the Cadian team that stood by.
"Over here you lot, I want ranks and regiments up front!" He called to them, the guardsmen formed up in front of him and he examined each. Moments of silence passed as Mkarth considered what to do with them until he noticed that there were fifteen displaced guardsmen in front of him and he was missing fifteen men from their last battle. A smile spread across his face.
"Listen up boys, I'm gonna run over some facts with you, we've got no idea where we are, no contact with higher Imperial command and no way to get back to our respective forces for the foreseeable future. As such I am officially your commander until such a time when Imperial command is contacted."
Mkarth studied the men in front of him, nobody said anything or budged.
"You are being folded into my unit as of now, you will be members of the Tanith First until otherwise ordered, is that understood?" He asked. He got a chorus of affirmatives.
"Good, Blane, pass out the uniforms and gear to our new recruits, no time fore training, you'll be learning on the fly." He said and walked away towards his own group, he was approached by Fols.
"Sir, are you sure about this? We don't know these guys' loyalties or anything.
"They're loyal to the Emperor aren't they? We had the Verghastites folded into our regiment didn't we? Most of them didn't even have training, trust me, they'll listen out of respect for rank." Mkarth said and then yelled for the newly reinforced Tanith to get into formation. Suddenly a yell went out about movement on the perimeter.
"Hostiles, Open fire!" Mkarth yelled and lit up the darkness with his own weapon, soon, a dozen roaches or other insect/arachnids lay scorched and dead around the Tanith.
"Clear?" Mkarth called, he received an affirmative. "Alright lets get out of this chamber and find the other guardsmen." He got his vox phone. "Ven, how's the waste outside look?"
"Not good sir, a real storm's brewing and the wildlife out there is even bigger than the last hive."
"Alright, we're not going out there, looks like our other option is deeper into the hive, form up on the entrance to the next chamber and lets go."
Soon, the Tanith were standing in front of the screen door.
"This has got to be the single biggest mesh wire fence I've ever seen." Orman said in awe.
"Can we cut through it?" Mkarth asked. One of the scouts dug his knife into it experimentally and nodded, cutting a big enough slit into the bottom for a few guardsmen at the time to crawl out and towards the stairs that went up toward a lighter portion of the hive...
(Pfffft...who needs bitz boxes when you have discarded guardsmen with nowhere else to go? )

Draigo watched the humans attempts at escape. He ordered brother Gideon forward.
The massive form of the Dreadknight sent men scampering in fear or left them awestricken. Gideon proceeded to use his mighty machine to begin cutting a large chunk out of the door. Within a few minutes, the Land Raiders were able to get out. Yet Draigo did not give that order.
"Guardsmen, scout the immediate area!" He bellowed. However, he had heard of these Tanith 'First and Only' and knew that they had already been planning on doing just that.
Indeed, he was not in short supply of good warriors.

alright. there are two doors leading out. one in the hall and one in the kitchen. both doors have a triple wire screen with normal mesh, as well as diagonal mesh in iron lines the with of a minis forearm. at night, these doors are covered by a 3 inch thick oak door (Nepali thieves are very resourceful) and a large bar the size of a nova cannon shell lays across the inside.
most doors in the house are 2 inch thick mahogany doors. no windows Marks bedroom door has an Aquila painted on the front (guess who's bedroom door ALSO has an Aquila painted on it IRL)

Most of Mkarth's men, including Mkarth, were surprised at the sudden reappearance of the silver clad Astartes. At first nobody budged, too stricken by their power to do much but stare, Mkarth, however, was able to snap out of his stupor.
"First and second platoon move down the corridor, scan for hostiles and secure it, I'll be right behind you with third." He barked over the vox, that got his men moving and soon the hall was lined with guardsmen scanning the area.
Mkarth approached the Grey Knight he had seen thrown into the carrying bag on the airplane earlier, he assumed that one was in command.
"Area secured, lord." He said and began to turn away before his curiosity got the better of him. He'd heard of silver clad super warriors in the stories of guardsmen from other regiments that had had a little too much to drink, and while they made good stories; the best warriors humanity had ever produced going up and winning against armies of demons and heretics, he'd never expected to actually see one, or an entire group for that matter... "If you mind me asking, who are you? I've seen a great many Astartes in my time in the crusade but never any so.....different than yours."

Draigo stared down with a look of contempt for the man standing below him.
"If you mind me asking, who are you? I've seen a great many Astartes in my time in the crusade but never any so.. different than yours," The man asked.
"We are the Grey Knights, warriors of Titan, home of chapter 666 - the chamber militant of the Emperor's holy Inquisition," Draigo boomed. "However, should we be able to return to Imperial space, you and your men shall be mindwhiped and remember none of this."
He then turned and headed back over to his own kind, leaving the human standing in awe and surprise, perhaps also feeling a little anger and fear. But these were servants of the Inquisition; to hate them was heresy, to fear them further redundant.

"Casualty report. How many dead and how many injured?"
"Just the one dead, sir. A heavy bolter gunner named Druke. Aside from that, 3 broken arms, two cracked ribs and a fractured skull, but they'll survive. One Basilisk was also damaged."
"Excellent work, Sergeant Jinn. Have the injured taken in to the caves to heal, and assemble a scout force. It's time to search for the others."
Third Lieutenant Myar held up a hand, and the men behind her stopped. It was a small force; 6 Sentinels, accompanied by 40 mechanised Guardsmen. A Hellhound brought up the rear, it's turret swivelling in search of prey. Rain washed over the vehicles, huge droplets battering the lone Command Squad that eschewed the safety of a Chimera APC.
"Halt. I hear something." The men looked anxious.
"What's that smell?" she called. One man replied.
"Greenskins. The beast of Armageddon." Myar knew this would further complicate the situation-if the enemy force was too large, they would lose should they engage. But men of Armageddon wouldn't accept retreat when faced with Orks; those xenos had ravaged their homeworld for too long, and they wanted vengeance.
"I say we burn the lot of 'em." a man pipped in.
"Slaughter them. Let none survive. For Yarrick."
Myar looked around the corner, and spotted the Ork war host. She gasped.
They numbered in the hundreds. If they were assaulted, a sea of green would respond and overwhelm the attackers.
"Pull back! Pull back!" she cried, but the men wouldn't obey. The Hellhound rushed forwards, and the entire platoon followed.
"Nonsense! Kill them all!" Flame spurted out of the Hellhound's cannon, and dozens of las-bolts poured in to the attackers.
"No! Get out of there!" It was no use; a great "WAAAAGH!" filled the air as the Orks charged. The Hellhound was overwhelmed and turned over instantly, and the crew was cut to ribbons as they abandoned the vehicle. Guardsmen poured out of the Chimeras, and were trampled underfoot as they fired.
"Gak! Retreat, all of you, or I'll have you shot for insubordination!" Myar shouted. The Sentinels immediately turned and ran. Only two escaped the barrage of heavy bullets that struck them. The Guardsmen followed behind, running back in to their Chimeras before a tide of green swamped them.
"Run! Run, you fools!" What little was left of her force rounded the corner and became bogged down in a thick jungle. Eventually they found there way back inside, and pushed the great doors shut even as hundreds of Greenskins thumped against it.
After the battle, there was just a few tatters left of the platoon. Only one Sentinel remained; the other that had escaped the fullisade was crushed as the door closed. A single Chimera carrying eight Guardsmen had survived, and of the Command squad only Myar was left. The Orks had only taken a few dozen casualties.

Upon hearing shouts, hoops, and cries of ‘Dakka’ Mark knew what was going on, turning his attention from the small iron warriors fortress being constructed atop the shed in the ‘back yard’ Mark growled and stomped off to the front of the house, where Marduk’s men were disinterestedly watching as the greenskins chased a few Armageddoners back into the house.
“What is going on?” he asked. “Da umize Gork! Dey attacked uz, wit no pro-vo-cay-shee-un!” answered the nob in charge. “Go home!” ordered Mark, and the orks streamed back to their base in the piping and electrical, and rat tunnels.
Walking back to the house, he knew that he would have to cull the unruly minis, so he unpacked several boxes he had managed to stuff into the suitcases, they were part of a bought/converted force that he had been building for quite some time, since he had been introduced to the hobby a long time ago, but had been waiting to paint them all at once, making a metal note to see if he had any daemonettes to paint these minis (god of artists remember?) he began laying the components out Walking over to another table he sketched a quick symbol, an hourglass shape, with the bottom half missing.
Grinning ear to ear he began writing a new codex for his fluff army, and their patron chaos god. God of…stress? Headaches? No, no…Paint, glue and greenstuff…as much sense as that made…
“Now, all I need to do is paint them…”

Skulltaker had lost interest in the Word Bearers and had moved on to fighting large insects and Lizards, they proved fine foes but fell to his Daemon blade and had their skulls become trophies of the Herald of Khorne. A Juggernaut emerged from the long grass, the Daemons mount had arrived and he grinned before mounting it and shouting a praise to Khorne before heading in the direction of the titanic fortress of Mark.

As the Warriors walked away, Mkarth could only stare after them in puzzlement. His sergeants behind him did likewise.
"Wait, he said he's going to mind wipe us?" Blane asked.
"Where did he say they were from?" Fols interjected.
"They're apparently Astartes that work for the Inquisition." Mkarth responded.
"They have those? What will they think of next?" Fols asked mockingly.
"You remember that bastard Heldane and the others?" Mkarth asked darkly. His sergeants either grimaced or shuddered at the memory.
"Do we really have to do what they say?" Blane asked, Mkarth turned and scowled at him.
"You really want to be shot as a heretic? Cause I sure don't, not much we can do about it right now...Lets move it out lads, we need to meet up with any other humans we can find and hopefully we can hold a line." Mkarth said marching away.
"Hold a line against what, sir?" Fols called.
"Anything that can't be considered an untainted homo sapien. Move out!" These last two words were shouted for his company to hear, finally, with momentum, the company of Tanith moved out warily, checking every crevice and corner of the corridor with scanning lasguns and heavier weapons. Soon they made it to a much larger chamber with huge arching cavers and gigantic fabric covered platforms. But what got Mkarth's attention was the presence of hundreds of guardsmen. Mkarth was never happier to see another guard regiment in his life. Mkarth and his men began to march toward their line and a heavy weapon crew called out for them to halt asking who Mkarth's men were, Mkarth heartily responded.
"Tell your commander the boys of the First and Only are here to help!"

After several hours, his first small group of soldiers was ready they had originally been forgeworld cultists. But he had painted the ‘mark’ symbol on them, and the minute they dried they would be ready. Locking the door, Mark saw a large gecko sneak toward the tanith when he went downstairs. He didn’t do anything about it, the little wierdos. Setting the carrying case down in the kitchen. he peeked inside. “My lord!” came a voice from the box. “you answer our prayers!” a tiny chaos marine led several cultists out of the box “all hail Mark! All hail Mark!” the minis chorused. As sevral leman russ tanks rolled around. “The Lord Of Glue has appeared to us! Screamed the tiny marine as several others of his group began chanting in a language that Mark could only see as 'mumble.' “PAINT FOR THE PAINT GOD! BITZ FOR THE BITZ THRONE!” they screamed. And began sacrificing a cultist all over the clean floor. muwahahahaha!

Rats bigger than actual cats? You can get those?

OOC: Alright then I guess I`ll post something.
IC: Marduk grumbled as it started drizzling again. They had just finished the walls, but it had started raining again. Now it had only been an hour and it was about to rain again. "Kol-Badar how are the tunnels doing. They better be reinforced and water proof. This is a deathworld we`re on, so I better not have my tunnels collapse from the rain, or earthquakes", Marduk said as Kol-badar approached from directing the drill. "Dark Apostle it is being done. I`m not a ignorant whelp like yourself. I`ve lead the host since the Warmonger was still alive. Now the Warmonger also told me he wanted to talk to you", Kol-Badar growled back. Marduk threw his fist into the Coryphaus`s face. He recoiled from the blow and fixed his jaw when he realized it was dislocated. "You do not talk to me like that you whoreson. The dark gods will make you suffer a eternity of torture if you back talk me again, now get back to work", Marduk roared.

Leaving the cultists in the kitchen Mark headed outside and to the iron warriors fortress. Where they were building a massive spire rising out of the jungle (the plants are very tall BTW and the foliage is REALLY thick) with heavy bolters mounted on it as well as a rotating earthshaker cannon on top.
While he was slightly worried about the human-sized metal foot near the base. He did not approach it. the Iron Warriors were repelling a small Ork attack. Checking the scale he surmised that his yard was about 100 square miles to the minis. “wonder where the tau went.” He muttered to himself. “oh well” me said, and getting his bag he headed to the store to pick up some groceries

"t-take it all! dont hurt me! demons! alien demons!" and with that everything was quite.most of the humans were gone and a few were knocked out or hiding. "erm, well men this is are new base. prepare an HQ and get ready for any attacks.oh,and tie are mounts up on this tables leg."

By the way, I haven't looked at this thread in a while. Could someone provide a brief overview of what's happened while I've been gone? Walls of text make my eyes bleed.

Just find my last post, otherwise ignore everybody else, they're just goofing off outside...

OOC: Didn't ask them anything, in an earlier post, Yarrick said he was looking for the "others" I figured he meant other guardsmen...Well, mine have found yours so lets get a base together and make sure the heretics stay away from the TV!

Ok, time to roleplay. Wait a sec...
The Tanith soldier, Mkarth he called himself, had proposed a cooperationbetween the Armageddoners and the Light Infantry. In exchange for the safety of the den and morale bonus provided by the TV, the Tanith forces would use their military to aid the rest of the Imperial Guard in the house. Sebastian Yarrick, a man of honour and rationality, agreed. The fortification was already underway; large, mobile cardboard buildings were being dragged across the room and the surrounding area was heavily mined and guarded by Tanith scout teams. The only way in or out was via the coffee table, with a ramp that could be lowered to allow friendly forces in. At the back of the room, in a sealed iron box with a single, massively guarded door, was the remote. The men of Armageddon believed it to be an ancient relic, a power concealed within that could channel the spirit of the Emporer. The only way to gain access to the remote was if you went there to pray.
As night fell, the men were on edge. Strange shapes, like giant birds, fluttered past the window, and the shouts coming from the Ork camp unnerved even the strongest willed man. To put there minds at ease, the Commissar sent for the Adeptus Mechanicus adepts to channel the power of the remote.
After half an hour of fiddling, the TV turned on and they began searching for a decent programme. Eventually, they found one.
"A gift from the Emporer," Yarrick muttered as the channel flicked to XXX Nightly. "This'll do wonders for morale."

(I could NOT let you become a national emergency klimono)
The tau got locked up.
Mark had arrived to find them ransacking the store. Luckily a chaos sorcerer had come along and was able to wipe the minds of the people who saw. But the tau had been gathered up and stuffed into different places. The weapons and vehicles were stuffed into marks safe. Located in his wardrobe. The tau were locked in the trunk of his car. The kroot were in the glove compartment. And the forgeworld orca gunship Mark discovered at the bottom of one of his newly arrived bitz-boxes was in the game room. the tau were provided with minimal food and water to last them their weeks imprisonment. and only about twelve of them were in the trunk. the others were in the various lockers and safes around the house.
Mark was mad.
