As the old thread is a bit old, last post was in January, I thought it would be best to start a new one, unless you would rather me just necro it...
Anyway, I just had to shave and felt like I should post it, as everyone in the beard or mustasche thread said I should, but that thread got locked, iirc, and I never posted in the other Show Yourself thread, so this works nicely.

Me playing against endtransmission at Dakka's Silver Sorcerer tournament in August last year.

I am seriously thinking this is a good idea or not to put up a picture of me here.

It was a rushed picture, I didn't notice the stupid collar till after we were done, but I couldn't get a retake since our tour had already started.

I personally want a Commissar cosplay. Then I can stand in the back of the elections for the Wargaming Club's committee and summarily execute any failed contenders with a NERF gun.

I want to cosplay Hakumen, and googling up cosplays, I found one that looks decent [other than the sword] and it doesn't look like it was too hard to make

I actually cosplay Russia, from Hetalia if anyone knows the show.

The cosplay scene scares me. I'm just a simple stormtrooper nut.

Besides, that daemonette picture was taken from dakka's gallery, and is perhaps the LEAST frightening of the daemonette cosplays out there.

Well the original quote for delivery was 18 months. It actually took the maker almost 4 years to deliver it. That was mostly becuse he turned out to be a lazy cheating SoB. Thats why I went to the trouble to learn how to make leather armor myself.

Thanks. The original Armor maker designed it. I just liked it alot and had him custom make it for me.
Down at Tex ren Faire we had a number of people dressed in Spring colors, bright greens and what not, also lots of BLACK, So I wanted something diffrent. I made a number of the accesorize and I had to remake the helm. The original helm made me look like a puppy so I crafted this one to match.

Here is a suit a Custom made myself.

Thats me in the middle with the big hammer. I also made the Hammer.
My friends Scott and Bo, helped me create this suit in about 24 hours of work over the course of 2 days.

Kilt and costume shirt. That tree is also no longer there - upon a recent walk in the park, all that remained was a giant stump. Not sure if it was storm damage that caused the tree to be taken down, but I hope it was.

That picture is 9 years old, I'm 24, I was 15 at the moment of the picture.

I look completely different now, most notably that I have grown roughly 5 inches, and put on 25 pounds of muscle, but I am not so insecure to whore myself out on the internet.

... The audiance (by and large) at the average RHPS showing is usually a pretty "open" group,at least they were when I frequently attended..

In New York,during the 70's the audiance would frequently pass joints about during the show..of course this no longer takes place,at least AFAIK

...I wasn't old enough to have actually attended any showings during the 70's,my first time going to see RHPS was in 1986, a theater near my home was showing it as a midnight movie...
Saw a lot of early John Waters films there as well as a lot of other movies that just didn't recieve "conventinal" release...

I should note that watching RHPS with out benifit of an audiance is a bit dull...

All you have to do is go into your Photos, select your Album, Select the photo, and then Right Click on it, select "Properties", Copy Pasta the URL, and wrap the Image Tags around that.

That would be sad. Our school has been here for about 100 years, so we don't have to worry about that.

If I post some pics of some warhammer models painted by my students will you all comment on them? The only thing is, they ALL have OCD. So if they get hung up on pink for my Knights of Blood, there isn't much I can do about it.

BTW they all know I post on dakka. They will sometimes come up to my desk when I am supposed to be grading their work and catch me looking through dakka's gallery.

Yeah we have this huge smart board (72 inch interactive monitor). I hooked a Wii up to it for a few weeks as a reward to those who behaved. So with my models and games, I am like the coolest teacher there. I get way more out of them that any of them "others".

Nah not anymore, when i started at uni i was never back at the right times to be able to do it (eg my summer holiday doesnt always start till july so i would always miss out on a chunk of the timetable which the people running it didnt like), plus, i did it for 4 years or so but during that time all the people changed and it eventually stopped the year after i did. (not entirely sure that makes sense ). Its a shame cos i always loved it.

i know the feeling though, when i started i was only 16 and was the youngest 'teacher' by about 6 years, and only the 2nd male. so all the boys instantly took to me and it was always easier for me to get them to behave than others. The Wii is an excellent idea! we only had an old Playstation and that caused waaaaay too many problems (only 2 player).

I actually used some of my faculty senate money to pay for the Wii. I convinced them that I could use it for the exercise games and as a reinforcer for appropriate behavior. It worked pretty good. I had two students with a lot of behavior problems. Basically I used a data collection sheet that showed their progress in a few areas. They knew that if they got 10 out of 12 marks they would get to use the Wii for a few hours on Friday. Turns out, the behaviors went to zero.

Of course I didn't tell any body that i bought Twilight Princess to play on my planning period. Guess who had to do their lesson plans at home?

Since you loved the work and if you ever get the chance and need some extra cash look and see if your area has a respite care program. They will pay you a little over minimum wage to work with special needs children.

Yeah but check the alchohol content. It is close to the same amount as a bottle of Vodka. Of I am not sure how big the bottle is. If it is 12 oz. it isn't worth it.

EDIT: They are 330 ml. That is about the size of a standard bottle of beer. Ouch! It must be good...
