"Whoa! Is, is that a kid?" Said the 1st cop with shock.
" I, I think it is." said the 2nd cop.
"Did one of them do it?" said the 1st cop.
as cop 2 turns over the body, it falls apart, and maggots go everywhere making the 1st cop start to barf.
"it was the reavers all right, must of been about a month ago."said the 2nd cop says.
then, out of the shadows, 2 big, 3 fingered hands grab the 1st cop and rip him in half,blood spraying everywere.
the 2nd cop quickly pulls out his gun and shoots the reaver between the eyes. but when he turns around, he comes face to face with another. it proceeds to grab him by the head and crush it, splattering blood above the dead boy.

a group of soldiers arrives at the scene 2 days later.
the sergeant says" looks like reavers, happened bout a month ago, else the maggots wouldn't be so numerous."
then the soldiers hear screams from the shadows and then see group of reavers come charging out of the shadows howling like the animals they are.
"run!" yells the sergeant, only a little to late.
as the reavers tackle soldiers and mutilate them , only 3 are able make it back to the truck alive.

as they drive out of the forest, the reavers that follow burn in the sunlight.
the sergeant says softly" great, another failed mission. but why were the reavers still there, they never stay longer than a month in any location."
as they arrive at the city orion, they fall silent...

this is earth in 2143, only 30 years ago an experiment some humans were doing went haywire creating the reavers. over those years the reavers destroyed city after city, destroying life as we know it. they killed off almost every other animal except those that evolved fast enough to get away,which wasn't many. now there are only a hand full of cities left, the biggest is orion.for protection every city has huge walls to keep out the reavers, although it doesn't always work.

a reaver is about a foot taller than a human, has a bulky body and is hump backed. there bodies have a segmented tough leather layer as skin,like an exoskeleton(they still do have there normal skeleton)every where but there face, making that there weak point.they are purplish black colored. its neck is about a 2 feet long. its head looks like a humans except with sharp teeth. long arms with only 3 long bulky, long fingers, one that acts like a thumb. it legs are big and also bulky, with 2 toed feet.the only difference between males and females is females have tails. when a reaver bites something,it releases a chemical that attracts so many flies that in less than a few hours, a body can seem like its been there for weeks. this is because, seeing as how they leave an area after a month,it draws less caution if you think there gone.almost no one knows about this.reavers also live in packs of 7 to 30, although sometimes some will temporarily fuse.

Despite his droll character, Roy has managed to make a living as a sort of thief/mercenary. Has a deep hatred of Neos, due to the fact that he abhors the idea of people wanting to achieve mutation.

Oh she's a criminal because she's a wanted hitman. Plus her parent had set a bounty on her when they found that she was alive. Their city officials too.

orion, the biggest strong hold of earth left. it is dying. it cannot continue without supplies,but they have been cut off. with the lower districts rationing,riots have started and peace is hard to keep. orion has become a heated pot,about to boil over

edgar as your taking a walk in the hot summer sun,you hear the siren,which means some more low life have broken into district 1. as you head for the nearest building,some police go by. but then you look across the street into an alleyway,and see some armed thugs coming out.as they leave,they turn and start firing on all they see.men scream,blood spills, and policemen fire back. then your knocked to the ground by a woman who is then shot.as she lands on you,a police officer yells at you to get inside.

meredith as you sit in the shade at a run down bar,you scan the customers. no sign of any jobs it seemed. you over hear a few drunkards talking about some raid going on at this very moment. then you hear someone say "hey gorgeous girl, want to *hic* have a good time? its dangerous in these *hic* parts,why dont i protect you?" as you try to make him leave,he reaches out and touches you. "ooo,nice. and i *hic* dont like hearing 'no' girl."

tzak as your sitting at home,you hear a knock. "sir,its time for your annual tests." sigh,you cant say no,and its nothing inhuman,but it certainly is annoying. as you gather your things and go out,you meet your 'friend; tomas. he was a nice enough fella,if not over the top proud of his job as a police officer. "this way sir." yes,you knew the way. a you are walking to the medical bay,a car explodes next to you. as tomas jumps in front of the blast,he is knocked into you and you both hit the ground. as you get up,you see no one is coming to kill you,but tomas is bleeding badly. "f-forget about m-me...g-go-go report this..." if he dosent get help soon,he will die.

ebonfire as your walking along,you look around. a fight here,a stand there.all the same,all run down and old. all near the wall. the highmen weren't stupid,if the wall fell,district 1 would be the last to die. then,you turn to see some guards coming. they looked angry. you knew they weren't after you,otherwise they would be shooting by now. then,they open fire on some guy. as he is turned into swiss cheese,no one even looks. all normal now a days. as you keep walking,you are pushed down by some woman,who keeps running. you then realize she stole your wallet. as you start chasing her,you see something bad.the cops are to. if they get to her 1st,they will claim your money as evidence.

Ebonfire chased the woman down the street. He didn't keep a lot in that wallet, it was just the principal of the thing. Seeing that she has another pursuer, she darts into and alley, desperate to break chase. Ebonfire draws his revolver and follows suit. The woman reaches a dead end, pinned between him and the surrounding walls. Now that he has her pinned, he grips his gun firmly between both hands, pointing it over her heart.
"Ten seconds. Give my money back. After that, I don't care."

Crack...... Meredith sighted the dead reaver. It lay where she had stopped it. She got up and put away her sniper. She pulled out her MP5 and scanned the general area. The city was visible about a mile away and the light eminating from it made it stick out like a sore thumb. She started to run across the desert. She heard it. A slight pad of feet hitting the dusty ground. She looked behind her and saw the reaver. She could see it perfectly. She turned on a dime and waited. It came within 20 yards and she struck it down with a single bullet. But it was a reaver strong and resilient. So she shot it again. It jerked backwards. Guts flew from the two bullet holes. She smiledas it fell. She heard the dead wait sag and knew it was dead. A roar could be heard and suddenly a dune buggy pulled up next to her. Jester her only friend was at the driver seat. He glanced at the barely visible body and snorted. He never was ceased to be amused by her Accuracy. She hopped in and kissed him on the cheek. He wasnt complaining. He was like her father she never had. He felt like it was that way. She pulled the sniper out as they sped away. She started disesembling the gun. She miticulously picked little grains of sand out with tweezers she had pulled out of her now undone hair. She then reassembled it. The city was in plain sight by then. Jester drove around scraps of burned out husks of vehicles. He came to a specific husk and got out. Meredith followed. They pushed the buggy into its hiding place and replaced the scrap peices. Meredith then walked over to the husk and went inside of it. It was a mass transport bus. She went to the stairs leading to the buried bottom. She went down them and found the trap door inlaid into the floor. She openned it and went down it. She land with a thud and started walking towards the exit light. Another thud sounded and she heard Jester grunt. She walked into the backroom of a gunshop. Guns of all kinds lined the walls. She walked over to a side room and went in. She shut the door and sat on her bed. She unpacked the goods she had aquired. Ten reaver claws. Zenod would be happy to have them. He needed them was the proper term. But he'd never admit that. Meredith then put her guns into a specially fitted chest for her specific guns. She then pulled off the tactical camo vest. She folded it and placed it in the drawer next to her bed. She then pulled the kbar out of its sheath and flipped it over in her hands. She did that when she was nervous. She sheathed it and layed on her bed. She fell asleep.

Meredith woke up with a start. Her alarm was going off. She stretched and got up. She was sore from yesterday. She got dressed and geared up and walked out of her room. She made sure to grab the reaver claws. She walked out of the backroom into the big front room. It had more weapons than the CDF's standard armory. She waved at Jester and walked out into the still dark streets of district 4. She quickly skirted into the shadows. The shop was illegal. Few knew about it. One couldnt travel here without consent. She was a criminal so she didnt have one. She slowly moved towards a house a few blocks away. She walked in a side door. A hulk of a thing stood in the centet. It was Zenod. He was a mutant. Except he had surgical mutations instead of birth mutations. He smiled as she. presented the claws. Heneeded them for hus currently no fingered hands. She set them on a counter and grabbed the bag of credits he had thrown at her. This was all that happened ever. They never talked except on rare occasions. She counted the credits and left. To go and receive the next assignment.

ebonfire "oh dear god,oh dear f***ing go-" and with that her 10 seconds were up and you fired. as you reclaim your wallet and slip out,you see the cops run in a little after. as you head off,your stomach growls. you need food. but prices were high,with the rations and all. it was alot for just some baby carrots,even more for water.yet they didnt ration beer,so the pubs and bars stayed open and busy,as they usually had cheaper,if not questionable,food.

Meredith twists his wrist and he squeels in pain. The man quickly backs off, but she was pissed. She flip twists over him and pulls out her kbar. She grabs his neck and puts the knife just barely into his neck. He backs off and walks away. A man walks up after she sits back down. Zerod has another assignment here it is. She takes the letter and opens it.

meredith note: go out of the city. there are some traders held up in a shed some 15 miles from the wall.kill them.you can keep their money,but return with the blue mans skull.

(also dont forget reavers burn in the sun light so they only come out at night.)

Ebonfire checked his wallet. Yes, it was all there. The little there was to begin with, anyway. Looks like cheap food and beer. Again.
He couldn't run the risk of stealing a meal. Too many people on edge. Especially cops. Ebonfire slunked over to the nearest pub, shackly little place, stuffed with rejects and hungry folk. He took a seat and waited on the bartender, a portly man, despite the fact that he could almost certainly not afford the amount of food to fill him.

"What's it gonna be?"
Ebonfire checked his wallet.
"What can I get with a twenty?"
The bartender shrugged.
"Some leftovers, a glass of watered-down poison."
"It'll float."

ebonfire as your food arrives,you look up to see a strange man leaving. you hear someone say that he is some kind of 'rich underground gang lord' who hires random people to kill for him as you look down at your food,you see it really is some random stuff thrown together as a stew and water with some 'poison' floating above it. luckily the straw goes straight to the water. then some big guy in a cop vest comes in,looks at you and then leaves.

Ebonfire had seen some nasty stuff, but the liquids actually separating? Na.
But a rich man? Paid to kill? Sounds right up his alley. He grabbed the plate and downed its contents, ignoring the odd smell.
Then he stopped. What about the cop? Then he shook it off. Probably was looking for the one who killed that woman and just didn't recognize him. He stepped out the door, not in much of a hurry. He never forgot a face. And usually didn't pay his tab.

ebonfire as you leave,you see the cop standing their. he then turns and walks off. you turn to see that you cant see that rich man. then a old man comes out of an ally,grabs you,and pulls you in. "you want a job? about 15 miles out their are some traders in a shed. a dude hired a little 16 year old to kill them.capture this girl and bring her here along with the blue man she was hired to bring in.well his head.do this and meet me at ol street 7. ill pay you 10,000 credits.deal?"

tzak "hu? what? you go get tomas,that must be who he means."as some medic runs out,the woman says "right this way mr.tzak. it will only take a moment." as they lead you to the scanner and you step in,you feel like yelling deja vu. as the door closes and it starts scanning you,you feel the drowsiness that it always brings.after about 10 minutes you step out. "thank you mr.tzak,the data we got from you will help save lives against your lesser cousins." you hated how they said that,like you and them were one big family. as your leaving,you see them bring in tomas. he looks at you and says. "h-have you repo-reported this i-in yet si-sir-sir?"

"im going to" he says dryly " Im heading into the outer lands, I feel something going down and I need to be there. It is in a small shed close to district 4..or maybe 3. My brain won't make up it's mind"

tzak as you get to the gates the guards stop you. " sorry,no one allowed out at this moment. please come back later if you wish to leave orion."

Tzak pulls out a goverment pass " Im not a one, We are many, we are legion" he says as two reavers maul the gatemen " Good boys" He says to the reavers "Now, I got you a meal, you leave the city" he says motioning the gate and walking out. Tzak had figured out he had a way to control the reavers. They were his. He could not let the power go to his head. Only when he needed brute force would he use them. Only the packs around 1 and 2 would succomb though.

tzak as you leave,your head hurts alittle. using your 'connection' had bad consequences. as you look ot at the desert landscape,you cant see anything.must be farther away.

Meredith saw the shack. She quietly crawled to it. Her camo was active. She could hear a ruckus going on inside. Meredith got to the shack by the times things had quieted down. She got up and listened for any sounds. She could here snoring. Good. She quietly picked the lock. She entered with her MP5 at the ready. She looked a round and saw the shack was one big room. The three merchants were all sleeping along the walls on beds that were bolted to them. She pulls out her kbar and slings her MP5 over her shoulder. She slits the throat of two merchants. The blue merchant she leaves alive. She grabs a axe laying nearby. She lifts it up and chops down on the blue merchants neck. It severes easy. She picks it up and puts it in a bag. Suddenly she hears a shiffle of feet hurrying across the sand outside. She puts the axe down and walks to the door and hides next to it. She activates her camo. A man walks in minutes later. She sneaks behind him and puts him in a sleeper hold. He goes limp. She shoots him with a tranq just in case. She picks up her radio the Jester gave her. "Jesterneed pick up. Got target and something extra, over." "Copy that on my way", Jester radios back. She walks out and sets the man on the ground. Probably another boumty hunter. She snorted. A very under equip hunter. A roar can be hears and she sees Jester approach.

Edgar decides that it's probably best to go inside and does so.

Meredith sets the man down. He started to stir. She instantly had a MP5 pointed at him. He comes to and jumps at tue gun muzzle pressed against his head. He slowly slides his hand to his gun, but she seeing it quickly shot him with the tranq gun again. She frisked him. She found a revolver, a blade, and a wallet. She tied him up and he finally woke up again. He tryed to budge but she had him stuck. "Who are you and why did you go to the shack", She asked. She moved a second later when he attempted to spit at her. She then sat on the guys lap reverse and held her kbar next to his throat. "Now tell me who and why", She whispered into his ear.

Ebonfire would have to be more careful about these weird jobs he picks up. Had he known this girl wasn't a push-over. he might have been careful. But he was not without a plan B.

"You sixteen?" he said, careful not to push his Adam's apple against the blade.
"I'm asking the questions here, and you'd better answer quick."
That's a yes. He took firm grip of the chair. It had been a while. The molecules of the chair began to vibrate, which created heat. And with that much heat. Ignition.
The chair burst into flames, the girl flipping gracefully away. Right on top of the wire.
Ebonfire pulled his wrist in. Along with it, the hook hanging outside the door. It flew across the ground before catching her on the foot, tripping up her landing. She was tripped up long enough for him to grab his revolver and burst out the door to the sight of an oncoming truck. At this point, Ebonfire really didn't care any more. He put two rounds in the window, one bouncing off, the other catching the driver in the shoulder. He made a dash past it before stopping at a dune, the shack almost a hundred meters away.

Tzak saw the shed and a dunebuggy. He scoped in with his XV14 laser rifle. A loud buzz was heard then the dunebuggys engine stopped working. Tazk moved quickly to the shed where he could see the two trying to fix the buggy." I have a welding tool if you need it" He said spooking the two "Put your guns away you girl" she responded with " You shut the fething dick up you monster!"

tzak as you finally see the shack,you see it is on fire, a truck stopped next to it,and a man is running out of it.

ebonfire as you run from the burning shack and truck,you look over to see what looks like reaver standing in the sunlight.

edgar about 10 minutes later the siren stops and you know its safe to come out. when you do,you see the clean up crew does their job well.

meredith as you look around,you know the shack might collapse from the flames any minute,plus that guy is getting away.

Edgar walks out of the building and into a bar. Ouch.

edgar as you sit and are about to get a drink,a man comes up to you. "hey,ive got a...mess out in the wasteland. if you help me clean it up and get the blue mans head,ill pay you very well.deal?"

Edgar orders a drink, rudely ignoring the man.

Now Ebonfire's getting kind of pissed. First a brat catches him off-guard and catches him, and now reavers. He digs himself into a prone position in the sand watching the reaver and the shack intently for the next move.

edgar the man grabs your drink and chugs it down."400,000 credits.'he then pulls out the case and shows you them. dang,thats alot. thats ore than even most highmen see in a lifetime."all you have to do i bring me the blue mans head.you dont even need to kil him,a 16 year old brat did that for you. come on man,say yes.ill even give you my sand car to use."

ebonfire you see the reaver run up and talk to the truck driver and the girl. you see he is a reaverI,which explains why he isnt a burnt corpse.

Now that they are all lined up, Ebonfire sees his chance. He lines up his targets, and lets lose three shots.

Meredith and Jester stared the beast down. They looked each other up and down. Meredith hearing the click of the gun over the silence ducked. The first bullet whooped right over her head. the second slammed into the inferno and the third went wild. She got back up and activated her cloak. Jester pointed his now drawn AR at the reaver, "Stay calm and i wont shoot."
The reaver snorted and they both took cover behind the buggy. Meredith on the other hand edged towards the now running man. She pulled out her sniper and took out a clip. She checked the one bullet. The only tranq bullet for it that she had. But this was a huge setup and she decided it was worth it in the big picture. She loaded it. She took a deep breath and sighted the man. She waited two seconds timing with the wind and gravity. She shot. The man fell and then convulsed from the powerful tranq dart. She walked back to the buggy as Jester and the reaver stopped laughing at a crude joke about her. She glared at Jester and pointed at the buggy. The two got up and started working on the buggy. Meredith watched the shack burn down. She picked up the bag with the head in it and walked back to the now working buggy. "It was just a small gas input error, Tzak here fixed it up", Jester said with a smile. Meredith was pissed and flicked him off. She got on the buggy and put the bag down next to her. Jester and Tzak got in the front. They drove up to the curled up man. Meredith hopped out and put the man in the back with her. She then removed all his articles except his underwear. They arrived at the wrecked bus and Jester hid the buggy while Meredith brought the bag in, followed by Tzak with the man.

Ebonfire felt the dart hit him. It didn't pierce his jacket though. For a moment, he thought of shooting back, but then he had and Idea. Something was up about all this, something smelled fishy. He made a fake convulsion, pushing the dart through his skin. Strong stuff, and the last thought he had before he hit the ground:
"I like fish."

ebonfire you wake up in your underwear in the bus with the girl standing over you,weapon pointed at you.you see the reaverI standing behind her.

"Now that there`s going to be any thing for you to set on fire, answer my questions. Or i`ll flay your skin from your bones." The man went wide eyed realizing that she wasnt joking. The reaver suddenly fell to the deck. Blood leaked from a head blow. Jester walked out with a stun stick. He shocked the reaver again just in case. Jester put reaver cuffs on Tzakand put him against the wall. "Thanks for the help but i`m not into reavers", Jester said to the paralysed reaver. "Jester go and dump the reavers body. He`s of no use", Meredith said. Jester nodded and picked up the reaver. He grunted from the effort but was able to get Tzak into the buggy and drove off. "Now that i`ve got you alone, I`ll do worse than what i just said. Jester wouldnt approve but i have a feeling that it is necissary. Tell me and i`ll think about letting you live."

Tzak felt groogy when he woke up,but his gak came to him fast. He grabbed jester and choked him to death with the cuffs "I don't feth around when im pissed" He says unlocking the cuffs "BOYS! You have another meal!" He screams telepathicly walking back. He pulled out his hammer and a 9MM pistol. "Lets go you little bitch won't catch me off guard again.

Edgar takes the picture of the "Blue Man" from the man. He gently sets it down and pushes a switch on his umbrella which pokes a small knife tipped with poison and points it at the man.

"I say boy, the next time you take my drink I guarantee that it'll be your face in the obituaries."

Edgar leaves the bar, "I'll get you your "Blue Man" but I don't need your dirty money. Get me a live Reaver and we have a done deal."

edgar the man yells after. "there is a live reaverI out their you can have!" when you leave and get near,you see the shack is burned down and a buggy driving up.you also see something going on in a bus.

Edgar looks around, a old burnt down shack and some rusty vehicles. A massive waste of time he thought to himself. Checking what ammunition he had left for his hidden gun, Edgar was unimpressed. Only two bullets coated with the reaver-viral toxin. This won't do, knowing that when night falls, the Reavers would be lurking in large numbers outside the city, he decides to head back for the night and stock up. After all, he was ill equipped to capture a live ReaverI, and capturing one would further his "questionable" experiments on Reavers.

(OOC: Wide-eyed? Really? Let's try not to control each-others characters, please?)

Ebonfire was still groggy. Not his best plan, although he could make a flaming projectile of his underwear...
He shook of the idea. Not even he would lower himself to streaking the desert for 15 miles.
He looked around saw the Reaver holding up the girl, the driver dead, and some new guy hop on the bus.
No body seemed to notice him, so he scooted over to a seat, tore is open, and tore of chunks of foam.
Not the most flammable, but they would do. He lit one up and tossed it on the ground for effect.
"It's been a long day. Give my stuff back, and I'll be on my way."

Jesters second heart kicks in and he sits up. His neck felt like it was broken. He didnt care. He was a mutant that could regenerate after all. He started the dunebuggy up after ten minutes of trying. He was thankful for the sun or his regeneration power would have work when the reavers got there. He roared of towards the city to hopefully get there and help Meredith.

Meredith heard a creek and almost past it off as the man. (Known as Ebonfire. He was a mutant too. And he knew as much as her.) But she pulled out her MP5 and covered the door. Ebon who was also untied got into position despite not knowing what she was doing. A slight clatter and a very elegant looking man walked into view. He had a umbrella. He was human. He walked down the bottom floor. He didnt notice either of the two. Suddenly Ebon jumped out and started to grappel with the man. Meredith came out of the dark and put her kbar on the mans neck. "Now you wouldnt be after a blue mans head would you?"

OOC: Looks like my edit ninja has seriously messed up the storyline.....

Wtf we all have three different varient of the story. I say we let klimi decide who's story is acceptable i guess. Oh and klimi you miss judged the distance between the shack and bus. Its several miles away from each other.

Yeah, I thought I was outside the bar in the city. I don't think a man with an umbrella-knife would beat three battle hardened mercenaries!

Alright, so I'm still tied up, Tzak is talking with Meredith, we're on the bus next to the burning shack, and god knows where Snarky's at.

ok. ebonfire got hit with the dart but it got stuck.so he could find out more he pushed it into him.his last thought was "i like fish." tzak fixed the broken buggy and for whatever reason went with jester and meredith who picked up ebonfire and went to a bus. edgar then arrives to see the shack burned down so he heads home as it is getting near dark. meredith ties up ebonfire and puts him in a place with nothing to burn in the bus. jester hits tzak on the back and as he turns,hits him in the head and knock him out. he then with great stress puts him in the buggy and drives off. ebonfire wakes up and meredith asks why he came out here. tzak wakes up after jester has stopped and chokes him to death (hes dead). he then starts heading back to the bus(in the buggy?).

it is now almost night. in 30 minutes reavers will start coming. tzaks 'connection' only works on 1 or 2 and most resist. also it has very bad side effects.

edgar. you come to the gate just as it closes and locks.your locked out. but you see a truck you can drive around in til its safe. keys are in.

if you dont like it ill do better in the future,but this is this for this. if you think its unfair sorry but this is what happened and please deal with it.i went with the info i thought was best or better story wise.

(Yes in the buggy, I chop jester to pieces then mount him on the front of the buggy like an animal(Popular with large reavers) to show meridith im not to be messed with_

Meredith unties Ebon after he explains his situation. They talk and form an alliance. Meredith then goes over to the trap door and leads Ebon to the gun shop to better equip him.

But i`ll rig some explosives to the front. I just need help moving the guns from the front into the back. They all work and we have a stash full of ammo hidden underneath here. So we need to move now." Meredith walks off and starts to take down guns from the walls in the front room and brings them to the back. She then picks up some LMG`s and moves them aside.

Omfg. You dont have location down at all. The bus is only yhe entrance to the tunnel. The bus is right outside the walls. The shack is miles out in the desert. The shop is about a half mile in he city. Please stop confusing me. We have distance differentations every post. I'm really the only persons who's developed location distances. well you never specified alot of that. you never said it was near the wall.you did say it was away from the shack,but i never said it was close again. you did mention a hidden tunnel but never said it lead into the city,only to a gun shop (which hidden compartment at back of bus very weird and confusing anyways). and with the other stuff said,it didnt seem like it was in the city. id make a map,but then to stop this stuff from happening,id have to make a map of every small area and im not doing that. new rule.dont add major thing into the environment,or at least PM me 1st. otherwise this will happen agian.(at least until we move away from the city to areas you guys dont know.)

Meredith watches as Ebon open fire`s down the tunnel at the incoming reavers. Two are shredded to bits but they provide a sheild for the ones behind. They get to the entrance and Meredith starts to pick her shots. She shoots one in the head a few time and another in the neck. Ebon`s fire kills another two before they finally get close enough. Meredith had cleared this area of all obstructions so she could dodge around the reavers in CQC. She pulls out her kbar and runs up to the closest reaver. She waits for it to attack and she jumps (because she is too short to reach the reaver) plunging her knife into the bottom of its head. She hangs there until the knife releases and it dies while she moves on to the next.

the blue mans head. why was it so important? why did the old man want it so bad? the thing is,it would change everything.

as ebonfire and meredith fought all night in the truck,mourning finally came. as the reavers left of burned,the survivors stepped out and were free.as they headed back to the city,meredith felt something touch her.it was the head,it was vibrating.she pulled it out.it was still vibrating.the closer to the city they got,the more it vibrated. then its mouth opened and it started to scream.yes.it was screaming.it was so high pitched ebonfire and meredith had to cover their ears.as the blue head hit the ground,it stopped.its mouth closed and it stopped vibrating.from then on any time meredith touched it with her bare hand it screamed.as you continued,you came to the gate.you like always,had to wait in a long line.but then,it was finaly your turn,the man was a interesting fellow,but seemed to look at you weird.then he said the worst thing possible."step out of line you 2." you are at gate to city.

as tzak woke up,he felt annoyed.and hungry. he looked at the buggy he was in.wrecked.no good.as he turned his big neck,he saw the city,only bout 5 miles,then another 2 to get to the gate. as he got up and walked,he didnt know much of what to do.but if he saw that girl,he wouldnt hesitate to teach her why to fear him.as he got to the wall,he looked up.last nights attacks had been harsh by the looks of it.how much longer could this city hold out? who knew? but if a full scale reaver attack got into the city,even he would most likely die.at wall,3 miles from gate

when edgar woke up,he had hoped for a peaceful day.it wasn't going to happen. a guard knocked on his door very early and gave him the dreaded blue paper.wall duty.every civilian of all districts had to do this.it was annoying,but made sure the city always had fresh defenders.as he got dressed and gathered his things,he looked at the paper.uh oh.gate duty.that was the worse.it was literally regulation to strip search any person that looked even slightly suspension or had more than 1 gun.it gave him chills,he hoped he could stay in the shadows like last time. but again,bad luck. the minute he got their,they pushed him into the spot light.search crew. as he went threw person after person,it came to these 2 strange mutants. dangit,they looked suspicious,well,more like they had a rough night,but if he just let them go he might get shot. so edger did what he had to do. "you 2,step out of line." you are at gate to city.

She comes to the entrance into district 1. Guards are minimal here, because they are looking for her. Meredith moves up and signals for Ebon to stop. He does and she slowly slides up to the guard near a security personel portal. She slits his throat and motions for Ebon to follow. She grabs the security card and opens the portal into district 1.

as district 1s gate opens,meredith and ebonfire hear "dont move or your both dead." infront or you is 20-40 guards...and the old man. "hello ebon,i see you failed your mission,so you dont get paid. as for you meredith...blue head,or death." he then throws a small sack of 10-12? credits to your feet.not much at all. but you both see that you cant win this,so you hand over the head.the gates then close and lock you out.

edger saw the gun swing up,so he jumped to his left. the bullets hit him,but he knew he would live. as he lay their,he saw a bunch of guards rush after her and the other guy. then a medic came and started patching him up. "whoa man,your lucky.you almost died.." edgar is then taken to the hospital.

Edgar woke in the hospital. He hated guard duty even more now, especially after getting shot for the third time on patrol this year.

It was just a flesh wound, so nothing to be worried about. Waiting in the cramped discharge room, Edgar was waiting for the bureaucracy to finish the paper work, then he would be outta there...

He runs to catch up to the old man, but for an old geezer, he's surprisingly fast, walking at such a pace that Edgar couldn't catch up even while running.

Stopping to catch his breath, Edgar thought to himself. "What the heck?!?! How can an old man walk faster than a car?".

He had lost him. But things were going to get worse for Edgar, he was in the Center Square, while off limits. The cops weren't going to look kindly to trespassers.

Edgar runs into the old shoe store, it looked like nobody was around.

Being the frugal person he was, he helped himself to a new pair of shoes while he hid from the cops. Also unlocking the till, he helped himself to a few coins and dollars. Not much, but hey, you make do with what you can get.

Edgar overhears the radio chatter from the cops, hearing that an old dude was setting up a device infuriated him.

As much as he hated the elderly and mechanical devices, he couldn't stand the fact that this old dude was not only fast, but had a blue head. It was his most hated colour. Coupled with the fact that he had some device just pushed him over the edge, of all things he hated, Edgar hated pointless gadgets the most.

Going on a mission to take down a (hopefully) frail elderly man, Edgar made his way to the center of the city, picking up a big metal crowbar from the derelict store. He had forgotten his umbrella back at the hospital, but a crowbar would work too.

Heading back to his house Tzak hears a chase ensuing "Hmmm probly nothing" he thinks. Once he gets home he begins to harvest some of his homegrown fruits and veggys. The city allowed him to grow them because 1)They paid a small amount for some 2) He conducted reasearch on some of them 3) Whatever was left was donated to the needy in district 3( He ate some of course)

as edgar get near the center,he sees police men dead all over the place.freshlt dead to.then he sees the man.he has set up some device and is setting thr blue head on a platform. he then turns "hello edgar,your too late! this is the fall of orion!" he then turns and hits a button.all of a sudden,rain clouds,big dark rains clouds,form in the sky.everywere,no sky visible,only rain clouds.of course it starts to rain. then,the earth starts rumbling,and you hear a loud crumble...the walls,the walls have crumbled,and with it now dark... you turn at the sound of reavers,lots of reavers. "this is it! this is the blue heads power! control of natural disasters and weather! orion is finished,i have my revenge!"

everyone else you feel the sun get blocked,then you notice it raining hard. all of a sudden,their is and earth quake...then a loud crumble.you look,the walls,the walls to orion have collapsed! and then you hear something even worse.howls.reavers.lots and lots of reavers.

Edgar was really pissed now. Not only did the old man mess up his home, but he had a magic blue head that controlled some stupid gadget. There was nothing worse than some mumbo-jumbo plot device controlled by supernatural powers.

Lifting the crowbar above his head in a "Freeman"-esque pose, he started smashing the device and went after the Old Man, nothing would stop his crowbar rampage.

BIC:

Edgar begins chasing the old man, but cannot keep up with his power walking. Soon the old man had vanished.

Edgar had now begun to notice the Reavers, they were getting closer, the loud beasts. He had noticed remnants of old cities to the west of Orion, not far from there. They would be a good place to hole up while avoiding the Reavers.

Taking a firearm from a dead cop and as much ammunition (and wallets) as he could find before the Reavers got too close, Edgar made his way out of Orion and to what he presumed, safety.

On his way, he checked his inventory. About 50 credits worth total in all the wallets he scavenged, and a couple of ID's he could use later. He had managed to pick up a handgun, but only several rounds for it. He also managed to find an assault rifle from a cop who had his head caved him, it had an attached grenade launcher, but no ammunition. Edgar took it anyway, he might fetch a good price for it on the black market.

Edgar was now outside Orion. He had a choice now, walk along the edge of a forest to get to the old city, or head south and take the road. He decided to move along the woods less bandits.

Meredith curses up a storm and moves over to the side of the wall. She`d have to scale it. Ebon not knowing what she was doing watched. She noticed little rocks misplaced here and there. She ran up the wall. She grabbed one and then put her foot on another. She jumped up again. She did this repeatedly until she got to the midway point. She noticed an alcove. She climbed over to it and entered it. A door was inlaid into the back of the alcove. She pressed her hand against the door and it slowly slid open. She walked into a guard quarter that was empty. She saw some guard clothing and armor. An idea hit her. She put the armor and clothing on and walked out into district two. She still had the security card. She`d need it she thought to herself.

Meredith moves out and edges her way back to the district one entrance. A guard unit walks by and she waves at them after they nod at her. She continue`s on and comes to a different entrance. She flashes her card infront of the scanner and it opens. She walks through and this time checks before she continues. She heres a comotion and a mutant runs by her. He is chased by a group of cops. Suddenly the rumbling starts. The walls fall. People start screaming. And over the din the roar of reavers is heard. Ebon bumps into Meredith forgeting stealth and worrying about steadying himself. A random reaver jumps out of no-where. It jumps on top of a person nearby. Meredith shoots the thing of the person. She runs for her life. Ebon follows.

A reaver jumps off the car. The blood on its claw is from the now dead driver of the car. Meredith pulls out her pistol. She had exchanged her trang pistol for a G18. She then pulled out her Kbar. The thing ran at her. It was clumsly running expecting an easy meal. She jumped around it and shot a single burst. It howled and slshed at her. The claws were to far away though. She jumped over it and this time jumped on its back and stabbed it through neck. In its dying moments it threw her off. It went to kill her but Ebon fired his bull and the reaver was knocked to the ground dead. "Thanks, Ebon", Meredith said. He nodded. She went over to the car. It was a nice sports car. The only problem was that it`s window was destroyed. Meredith broke it off and pulled the dead driver out. She turned it on. It revved a deep baritone. She giggled. She`d always dreamed about a car like this. Ebon got in and she started to drive towards the old metropolis. The city was susposedly abandon but Meredith had contacts there. She`d find them there and make her revenge plot there. "Ebon now i`m going to the old metropolis ruin about thirty miles from here. Do you wish to follow?"

Ebonfire takes a good look at the situation. Busted walls, reavers everywhere.
He shakes his head. "Nah, I still have to pay you back for the little humiliation back there, and throwing you out of a car thirty miles from safety is kinda harsh." He ran to a crumbling building, and threw himself up to a window, where he busted inside. "Maybe I'll see you around kid." He jumps inside and shouts: "Oh, and thanks for the credits."

Edgar strolled along the edge of the forest, it was still raining and he missed his umbrella. It was too late to get it now, Orion was probably swarming with Reavers.

Ahead, he heard whooping and the sound of motorbikes. Edgar snuck along a ridge to check it out. Bandits, great he thought, they had attacked some other travelers, no doubt refugees from Orion.

Deciding it wasn't worth going up against them, he decided to go through the forest, north. He wasn't sure what was up there, but it was worth finding out.

Meredith came to the forest edge. She needed to stop for the day. She`d move when it got dark. She came up to the forest and parked the car. She put bushes around the car and made camp. She foraged for food and firewood. Then she heard a low rumble. A gang of bikers zoomed by. She hid but one had seen her. He pulled off with five others. They all turned on their lights and searched for her. She jumped out of the bush and stabbed her knife into the lead biker. He let out a owlof pain and died. She then picked up the assault rifle of the biker and turned it on the others. The front one was ripped to shreds, the others were unscathed they saw her and laughed. One got off his bike and charged her. Meredith did a flip in the air and shot the biker with her g18. He jerked from the impact of the bullets but his armor took the blows. He grabbed her and wrestled her to the ground. She bit him and he yelped she then stabbed her knife into his eye. She then twisted it and he fell limp. The other two bikers though had dismounted. They grabbed her by the arms and hauled her up. They disarmed her of her g18 and her knife. She had left everything else with the car. She struggled but the bikers were alot stronger. They tied her up and put her on the back of one of thier bikes. They then went and joined the biker gang. Meredith sat through it all. They finally came to a huge congrigation of bandits. They dropped her off by the lead cheiftans. The bikers talked to what Meredith guessed was their chieftan. The leader laughed at a crude joke the men made but Meredith couldnt here them. She then went black as a bodyguard knocked her out.

It was easy, really. Ebonfire looted the place for supplies and money, then skipped to the next building via rooftop parkour. He did this several times before he supposed leaving the city is a good idea. He saw a eighteen-wheeler below in the streets and decided to see if it was in working condition.

Meredith woke up in a tent. It was lavishly decorated. She cursed. She tried to undo her tie's but it didnt work. She then watched as a brute of a man walked into the tent. He sat on the bed. He then saw the girl and got up. He picked her up and dropped her on the bed. He then walked away. Meredith then siighed relieved. But he turned around and produced a gag. He came over and put it in her mouth. Meredith's face went pale. The man then proceded to rip her cloths off. He got to her bodysuit. Which hid little. He lautghed. But then Meredith laughed as she punched him in the groin. She undid her leg tie and ran out of the tent. Her equipment lay outside she picked it up as the man ran out of the tent

Edgar was lost. He couldn't figure out if he was traveling north, south or possibly west?

It was pretty tiring trying to figure it out. Edgar decided to stop for a while and rest. He had managed to shoot a deer which was great, since he was starving. The bad news was that he couldn't get a camp fire going because of the rain.

Still, he was going to keep trying, attempting to light the wet tinder with his piddly lighter that he stole from some dead cops back in Orion. They certainly wouldn't need it any more.

The semi was totally wrecked. Ebonfire cursed quietly, then remembered Meredith. Thirty miles was a long way, but if meant meat shields between him and the reavers, then it would have to do. He picked up a bike in a nearby garage, and mounted his LMG to it. At the least, he would get a damn good workout from this.

Meredith heard the man roar and all the bandits got up or grabbed weapons. But she had already made it to the bike area. She grabbed one and kicked it into gear. She drove off as twenty other bikers came to life. She made it to the forest edge and activated her weapon trackers. They pinpointed a half mile away. She came to it and deactivated the bike. She then hid it and hid herself. The bikers rode past her minutes later. Meredith grabbed her weapons and got in her car. She turned it on. The bikers then appeared. They didnt notice the car until she had taken off towards her destination. The bikers thought about chasing her but the car was to fast. She`d just go to the city right away.
