Very nice model, and by the way, Grey Knights are allowed too. That's why I posted them. Oh, and you don't have to decorate the base, you may put themon it, but may base if you want.

Your model needs some touch up, but it is looking pretty good.

Models have to have some sort of basing work done. IE painted, or modeled with sand etc.

Just gluing the model to the base doesn't meet the 'based' requirement. Just a heads up on that requirement.

If your models don't meet this requirement, please remove them so I don't have to!

Here's a photo of the model I made for Sarpedon - and a couple of Soul Drinkers. The chalice is pure greenstuff, the legs are Scything Talons and the bionic limb is a Tau antenna and some greenstuff. Ben Counter approves of him - he said Sarp is 'exactly as I imagined.' Though the git does keep blowing legs off, so I'll have to work on some more bionics...

Note to Mods: This Base is finished. I personally do not base my minis as I find it hard to game on tables that don't match my base. "Oh looks like were fightin' on the lava planet today, good thing I brought along my grass tuft and grassy colored circular standing platform." Yes I know this one has stairs but if it don't come based it don't get that way by me. Always black.

As a side note... I built this guy to run in a double tourney with a buddy who was playing Ultramarines (hence the UM shoulderpad) I have since painted it Black and Yellow as battle honor. We tanked our first game and then rallied to third place overall. I have been running him alot with my Wolves and like how he plays.

Cheers, I was really proud of him when I did him - it's a base of Bestial Brown going all the way up to Skull White. I've been reminded that his name is Sergeant Centurius - he was a limited edition from something or another.

Not sure if I've posted here before. Anyway, this is my newest and definitely my favorite model. I'm actually pretty sad about the fact I'm giving it away to another member on Dakka.

Its a space marine commander. The base is hand made out of Spackle, a LOT of Spackle.

It was my first try at using weathering powders on an infantry model. I think it worked quite well, if I do say so myself!
The red, however, is too varied in saturation / hue IMO.

Loving the Forge World Zhufor and Tyberos models. The only thing better than the models is seeing them with great paint jobs. Good work guys!

Not a lot for me to contribute at the moment, another addition to the painted shelf for my Ultramarines though. Always spending so much time going for realistic shading/detail with my guard, so my Marines are "graphic novel" themed... well supposed to be . Difficult concept to really slam home on every model, because such novels play with HARD shadows anyway, thought I'd share.
