Im trying to do this again, so here is the Orriginal Post:
thenoobbomb wrote:Hey all!
So, I recently got this idea for a Warhammer RPG, since there isnt one.
To be clear, this is a WHFB RPG and not a 40k one.
Everybody can join, and if there are people interested in this, then the RPG topic will come soon enough

_______
The background:

An Empire city is under attack, and is surrounded by more armies, but those are also fighting eachother.
Luckily, the Empire city also got reinforcements, so hope remains.

It sure is short and empty, but it makes it more easy to RP, and you an make up some things yourself during the RPG too!
_______
The rules:

- Be kind to each other
- Have fun
- Dont kill the character of someone else (unless agreed)
- Dont insult other players
- And all the dakkadakka rules
- Dont create OP characters.
So, I have made a table that you need to fill in if you want to join. Have fun!

When Groshnik was 132 years old, he and his brother were defending Karaz Grundruf from an invasion of Chaos Dwarves whilst his parents were off fighting goblins. Character name: Tyranic Marta (The wanderer)

Character age: As old as memory

Character race: Human (Chaos)

Appearence: Tyranic stands at just under 8 feet tall, his armour a mixture of dull silver, white and grey. His heavy armour is made from a dull metal and is completely flawless, no scratch adorns it. The armour's faces writhe with chaos runes, and occaisionally a face will leer out of the armour at those it can see (Note it does not actually protrude from the metal, more like a picture of a tortured face that has no real detail just exagerated lines of the mouth and eyes). The armour covers all of his skin and where the visor splits for his face only a white mist and a pair of glowing baleful red eyes can be seen. This mist also falls of his shoulders and wreathes his body as he moves, when he stands it pools at his feet and all around him the ground is frozen over in the frost of an early winter. From his shoulders and down his back hangs a heavy cloak made from the belt of some kind of arctic bear, the white pelt is tattered at the bottom and thin from age but still holds its shape. it is to heavy to billow as he walks but rather hangs heavily and is gently raised by the wind in a flickering fashion. His helmet is a simple helm that has had a pair of unearthly assymetrical horns grow from the temples and up about a foot. The cheekguards also appear to have small slits cut in them that seem to move of thier own accord. His on weapon, a 5 foot sword that he carries with the ease of a small child waving a thin stick, is about 3 inches wide and has a heavy pommelguard and tang made from what appears to be bone. The weapon's blade is smooth and unserrated but seems to instill terror with just the sight of the pommel, which has been fasioned in the shape of a skull, the blade protruding from its mouth. Staring into the eyes of the skull is said to induce madness as it slowly unravels your mind. His gantlets have silver skulls placed over the knuckles and his fur-and-steel greaves have Skulls on the knee pads. Over all this warrior portrays a sense of extreme cold and power. He is unnaproachable and enemies shy away at the stare of his haunted eyes before they are cut in twain by his mighty sword.

Armor/weapons:
The armour of the frost monarch: A powerful suit of armour that seems to chill the air and ground around it, only the chaos gods know what this does to the warrior inside the armour... but whatever the effects Tyranic still moves with blinding speed, gifted to him by a herald of Slaanesh it has an unearthly terror that then begins to ruin the senses as one draws near..
Blade of Deimos: A Herald of Tzeentch gave Tyranic the blade he carries with the promise that it would strip the souls of the victims it slew. The weapon is capavble of tearing through even the most advanced armour.
Helm of the Butcher: Tyrnics followers state that the helm Tyranic bears, was wrested from a chaos lord of Khorne, andgives Tyranic unparralleled strength and skill. (How he managed to kill the chaos lord in the first place is a mystery, some of his follower suggest that he once was a patron of Khorne and only khorne but he reached out and drew the ther chaos gods into his patronage.)
Talisman of decay: Deep in Tyranic's armour he has hidden the talisman of decay, none of his followers know how he came by it, but a mortal sets eyes upon it their very skin begins to rot away and soon they are dead... The problem is that Tyranic must also view the talisman for its powers to activate.

Followers: The wandering host.
Nagash the mad: This small hunchbacked sorceror is usually more of a hindrance than a help but has the undeniable skill of picking out an enemies best fighters and screaming thier names to the sky as a clarion call for his master to follow...
Lizurk: A strange man that follows Tyranic around and seems to be unseen by those around him. Often the ebb and flow of battle will rush around him without drawing him in. He has been seen walking through fields of war weaponless and impunitive, yet drawing no attacks from those fighting. Only when he speaks do you notice him and it seems that he is Tyranic's mouthpiece, as the great wanderer never speaks.

The four: A great warrior of each of the four chaos gods follows Tyranic and his small warband and they claim challenges and gory in his name. Only rarely Does Tyranic himslef enter the fray of full battle, he prefers to allow these 4 and thier warriors to do it for him. Each of the four has 9 chaos champions with him.

The 30 (Also known as the joined): In the thirty there are four groups of warriors that are all equal in power and work as one, thier groups are in the same numbers as the sacred numbers of the four chaos gods, 6,7,8 and 9. The thirty are the vanguard of Tyranic's assaults. And are at the forefront of all his battles.

The 9: Tyranic's personal guard. Each wears sorcerous armour that seems to deflect blows that should fell a giant.

Together these warriors and Tyranic himself total: 83 warriors of chaos.

Around him flock the warriors of chaos and he is never without a hefty band of chaos marauder horsemen that number no less than 60. They are led by a sallow faced nothman by the name of Halk'm-oran (Hell-Kim-Orr-An. Altogether Tyranic's forces total 143 warriors.

Great, might as well create my character.

Name: Syrath "the Immortal"
Age: ?
Race: Daemon, Undivided
Apperance: Syrath is a being of no flesh, only a structure of bones held together by magik form his apperance. He sports two massive wings, dotted by the remains of scales and his heart is a crystal of warp stone and evil. Syrath's head is crowned by a set of horns that seems to twist into new shapes and ruins. His eyes are green fire that seem to have never be put out. His entire structure is enlarged with ruins of each chaos Power and each of his weapons and armour are gifts from the Chaos powers. His Glaive is a weapon of Khorne, hungry for blood and willing to turn on its master if a greater owner may present himself, however rune chains cover the blade. His Marble armour is a Gift from Slannesh, carved from the Marble of the Palace of Slannesh and seeking to consume more souls, however if Syrath cannot sate its taste, he will find himself enslaved to Slannesh. Syrath's Sorcery is a gift from Tzeentch, the burning fire that holds him is both a gift and a curse for if the Sorcery grows to strong Syrath will become one of Tzeentchs petty slaves. His Final gift is his heart, Nurglich warp stone keeps Syrath from collapsing into dust and if broken, Syrath will become dust however it allows Syarth to regenerate minor wounds.
Weapons: Daemon Glaive, Marble Armour, Sorcery and Magiks.

Army
SIC-Khorne Herald on Juggerenaut with banner.
Contents:
10 BloodLetters
10 Horrors
10 Plague Bearers
3 Bloodcrushers
5 Fiends of Slannesh.

Why did you try to kill it anyway?

Warhammer RPG interests/OOC @ 2012/04/10 22:45:58

Post by: Lucian Greymark

Pretty simple really. Tyranic is a Warleader that has been around for long enough to see pretty much everything, he has a sorcerous blade and so had no problem with the thought of killing a physical resistant daemon. He is a servant of nurgle and is undead, thus disease is no obstacle and the blighty thing doesnt worry him. So it was a prtty easy deduction for him. The rest of his legions just wanted a scrap.

Allying with a race almost entirely opposed to everything seems to make a giant spider seem meek, though the Orcs are far to organized, the way they speak and wage war is also too organized.

Cool, thanks. And here is my character:

Character name: Sir Dregore of Parravon
Character age: 78
Character race: Human

Appearance: Though he has lived for nearly 80 years, Dregore remains young, due to the powers of the grail running through him. Dregore is a well-built man due to constant battle and training. He stands just over 6 feet tall, and has a proud powerful stride, common among nobles of Bretonnia. He has Dark black hair, and Bright-Green eyes. Dregore wears his hair in a short tail behind his head, and sports no facial hair.

Armor: Dregore wears the common layers of a Bretonnian knight, leather armour, underneath chainmail, and masterly forged Plate male to finish it off. He also has a helmet he wears, said to have been forged by ancient dwarven smiths. He also carries a shield which has a golden Pegasus on a white background, his coat-of-arms, imprinted beautifly on it.

Weapons: Dregore carries a lance said to have been bestowed upon him by the lady herself, it has a faint glow of power to it, and strikes with the power of a thunderbolt. The blessings laid upon it keep it from ever shattering. Dregore’s Sword is of beautiful craftsmanship and when it strikes, sends a devastating shockwave in all directions. Dregore’s Sword and Lance were made as a pair, and so legend says that when one is held, the other can always be found.

Bio: Dregore was born into a royal family in Parravon. For his 5th birthday, Dregore’s parents presented him with a Pegasus Foal, with which he bonded nearly instantly. Dregore trained hard with lance and sword, mounted and on foot for much of his life, until the king called an Errantry war, which he was all too happy to join. Dregore, and his trusty Pegasus “Arion”. In the war, Dregore was assigned to a squad of Errantry Knights also riding Royal Pegasi. His squad, nicknamed “Gold Wing”, was assigned to make quick lighting fast strikes against the enemy from the air at key points to ensue panic and disorder. Dregore became a prominent leader in this squad, and when the squad leader fell during a strike, Dregore was awarded the new rank of unit Champion. He and his squad became an effective strike force, become a key part of many of the battles they took part in. After the War he returned to his home to learn of his father’s death, and as the heir, he took the throne. His previous squad of newly made Knights of the Realm had become very close during the war and decided to swear loyalty to Dregore, and serve him as he needed. Dregore slowly grew this squad of knights until he had a small army of air troops, ready to fight at moment’s notice.

Years later a vision came to Dregore, calling him to the wild. Seeing this as a call from the Lady of the lake, he wasted no time in beginning his quest for the grail, leaving his closest friend and 2nd in command, Moren. Dregore spent many years traveling the world on his faithful steed, slaying the unholy beasts on monsters that stalked the land, until one knight he was contacted again by a dream, leading him to an old ruin of an ancient castle, long forgotten. Here he was presented by the magnificent Lady of the Lake, the Holy Grail, from which he was allowed to drink. The moment the Liquid touched his lips, he felt the power, and after taking a small sip, felt enourmous pain and burning deep within his chest. This pain continued to intensify until he collapsed in agony, on the old wooden floor of the castle. He watched through the foggy vision as the lady disappeared, and left him there alone. He laid writhing in pain on the Floor for 2 days, until the pain finally subsided, leaving him weak and hungry, yet deep inside he could feel a dormant power. After returning home Dregore took back his throne once again, and has remained there for many years since. During his life as a Holy Grail Knight, Dregore has traveled into the forest of Loren, met the elves of the trees, and on a few occasions met again with the Lady of the Lake. Stories have been woven of the Great knight upon this silver throne, some true, but most are pure imagination. Sir Dregore of Parravon is a well-known leader in parravon, and a feared commander of the powerful Pegasus army “Gold Wing”

(My apologies if Dregore sounds a bit over the top, being a Grail knight, I wanted to implement just as much “legend” and “folk tales” as fact about him, most of it is just flashy words and stories, but if you want him toned down a bit, let me know)
-----------------
Name of army: Gold Wing
Sub-commander army: Moren
Troops: 100 Pegasus Knights (All equipped with Lances, Swords, Shields, and Full Armor)
