The topic is here. Lets start roleplaying.
______________
Salmund lay before Ghast the Cannibal. Armies from the entire Old World had gattered, and now was the time to siege it. Ghast was not here for big purposes. He just wanted flesh. His Ghouls wanted that too. The situation would prove excellent. All armies would take casualties, and that meant flesh. The only one in his army of undead thinking that they were here for a bigger purpose was the necromancer, Kurt. The wretch had always hoped to be granted the Blood Kiss. Maybe he would get it. Maybe not. Ghast was sure that even if Kurt would get that, he wouldn't have fun for very long with it. Mounting his Terrorgheist, Ghast once again looked towards the city. The people waited for him. He chuckled. Dinner time.

Flyng over the city, Ghast's Terrorgheist howled the screams of the eternal not-so-dead-at-all, striking fear into the hearts of the defenders. If they would be afraid, the morale would surely go down, and the city would be theirs much quicker. And that was the objective of everyone here. To take the city. Or die, in case of the defenders.

Standing over a large pit in the ground N'emoran took some maggits, rotten flesh and soil and pored them into the pity. A strange sound came from the pit, suddenly a ork burst into the dark hut.
"Oy chaos boy the bossez want ya!" The beast yelled.
"Come here for a minute my green friend." N'emoran lifted his fleshless finger and points next to him. The ork walked over and looked into the pit. Sam walked behind the ork and pushed him into the pit the ork's screams of pain echoed until silence finally came.
"You must be hungry!" Said N'emoran lifting the torch over the pit in it were swarms of nurglings. N'emoran left his hut and walked outside to be greeted by his mighty dragon together they walk to meet the other leaders of darkness.

The massive leader came into view "what? cant take a city with yer own boyz! and need our help?" he said calmly as he sat down on a large log "please sit if ye want" he stated as he pointed to a prepared seat. Sitting around the large campfire were several orcs, chaos warriors, a chaos dwarf, and some other seats yet to be filled.

Sethbis walks towards a stone coffin in the great tomb of Achtenon. he walks quite slowly, as he is over 2500 years old. 'Hmef, Neb Taui, Ankh Udja Seneb, Ormesi!' he shouts.
the wind grows strong, even inside the tomb. Dust is flying everywhere and a strange glow comes from the coffin.
Suddenly, there is no more light inside the tomb, but two small flickering lights. It's Achtenon, he's back alive.
'tell me your name, priest!' he shouted.
'I am Sethbis, my lord. Spare me, for i am a humble servant and loyal priest. I can arise your amry from death. together, my lord, we can take over khemri and the etire world!'
'Tell me, priest, why should i trust you, and why should i share my power with you?'
'without my magic powers, you wouldn't live and you wouldn't have an army. if your soldiers die, i can make them live again.'
'really now? prepare my chariot, weré gonna take over the world.'

Ghast's Terrorgheist screamed while flying trough the air. The death Shriek was actually the Howling of the Eternal doomed. Ghast smiled, as far as his face allowed him too.
He probably had made some brains liquid. Funny. Very funny. Perhaps the brainliquid flowed out from their eyes or ears. Ghast liked that idea. But for now, it was time to land, and see what those Ocs wanted.

Irmenhild stood slowly from her seat in the near empty tavern. Placing payment on her table and moving at a steady pace through the open door and out onto the dirty street, she gripped her cloak tight and shut. The only part of her visible to others was her face. She would be seen as a priest of moor and as such go undisturbed by all but the most detestable of men.
She was moving towards the keep of the city. The sky was beginning to darken and so her time to act was nearing. She was well rested and had eaten and had drank plenty of water at the tavern.
She would have to complete her goal this night.
Forces of evil were continuing to flock to the city. Why they came to Marienburg was unknown to her. The orks moving down from the hills, Chaos warriors emerging from the forests and ancient forces attacking from across the seas.
Reinforcements were already travelling down the River Reik from Talaheim and Altdorf but she wasn't going to rely on the empire to save her. She didnt have to.

An unearthly sound pierced the air and her mind. It felt like thousands of needles piercing her brain. She fell to the ground clutching her head, as did many of the other people on the street. Children and Older men and women crumpled to the ground with blood running from their ears. The sound faded and she forced herself to stand. She would leave the city by the morning.
She stopped to collect her hidden supplies from an old crate inside an alley.
A short sword stolen from a guard, a crossbow with 8 bolts and a grappling hook on rope made up the kit. She awaited darkness and strapped the sword to her waist and the crossbow to her back.
She moved with darkness onto the street, making her way through the alleyways and backstreet's to avoid detection. She had positioned herself not far from the keep as to keep chance of detection to a minimum. Moving to the least patrolled side of the square keep, she positioned herself behind a very tall building (the city's most exclusive whorehouse) and waited for a large cloud to pass in-front of the moon. Without the bright moon-light she was safe to move. Flinging the hook to the top of the building, she begun to scale the construct.
With the guards mostly occupied with the outer walls there was only 3 soldiers patrolling this section of wall. The two alert guards would be the first to go. With the cloud cover moving quickly she would have to act now.
Unhitching the heavy crossbow from its strap on her back, she laid it on the roof and after attaching the rope from the grappling hook to the one of its heavy bolts she loaded and cranked it back. S
She lay down herself because the weapon was a real beast. The soft thunk from bow was met with silence as the bolt pierced the neck of the inattentive soldier and he fell to to ground on top of the wall. She secured the rope around a chimney and began to shimmy the 50 or so meters to the wall with amazing agility and speed.
Climbing over the wall and drawing the sword at her hip, she crossed the distance between her and the two guards with ease. Luckily they had begun to converse and as such had not noticed their dead companion in the shadows. Her thrust pierced through the neck of one and into the neck of the other with a spurt of blood and a gurgling noise.
Locking the two doors with access to this section of wall, Iremnhild allowed herself to feel satisfaction at her progress. With an expert motion she flicked the rope from its support on the opposite roof and pulled it to her. She used the rope to descend several meters into the courtyard.

Stepping from his Terrorgheist, Ghast aproached his Necromancer Slave. 'My lord', the necromancer, Kurt, began, 'what have you seen?'
'The city is heavily defended, but will not be able to survive for long, if those Orcs dont make us fight ourselves. However, the city is awaiting reinforcements, so we should strike soon.'
'But how, my lord?'
'The sewers. The sewers are undefended. Send word to all other armies to meet me at dawn. Tell them I shall grant them victory if they come. And if they dont, well, tell them that they wont like what will happen then.'
'Yes, my lord!'
Looking towards his undead minions, Ghast started ancient rituals of summoning. It was time to call upon other vampires in the city. They might not like him, see him as downgraded, but he thought that the Lahmian Vampires in the city could grant him information.
A lot of information.

N'emoran watched as the force of despair argued with each other over who's tactic should be used.
"You fouls! We must separate our forces to split and distract the guards. I will fly over the city with my pet sending chocking fumes other the city and drop the plague filled heads upon them causing panic and disease. The orcs use their brute for to charge the main gate and Ghast take your beasts into the sewers bellow!" N'emoran spoke causing all the leaders to stop and look. N'emoran walk to his scaled companion and climbed on to the skin saddle.
"If you want to win this war follow my tactic." The Nurgle lord yelled as he took off to plunge fear, disease and death upon the city's inhabitance.

Snikrit looked over his shoulder. Behind him were his Gutter Runners, ready to strike. The plan was simple: Kill the guards to allow the main force of Clanrats to flood the city with little resistance. But as they say, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry... He had to be cautious so as not to be spotted prematurely and give away the master-plan.
This town would remember the name of Clan Eshin for generations

undead came from a hill and attacked the ruined town. but when they reached the town, there was no one.
'victory' said Achtenon, as if he had won battles almost every day.
suddenly, the wind started blow, like earlier in Achtenons Tomb. the Statues of the temple came alive. statues as big as Achtenon's ushabtis.

irmenhild moved softly through the window and to the side of the counts bed.
Her hard climb was about to pay off. Thrusting down with her signature needle she pierced the neck of the count three times before his eyes opened.
She turned away from the draining count and went to collect her prize. The elector counts blades were ancient dwarven forged weapons with mystical powers and an eternally sharp edge.
This blade would allow her to finally exact her revenge on the thing that scarred her and killed her family. She could then sell it for a fortune.
She moved aside a cabinet to reveal the royal escape route and entered it, leaving behind Marienburg and the corpses of her slain.

Walking towards the sewer entrance, Ghast grimaced.
The other armies would be the perfect distraction. And they didnt even know what evening it would be. Puny mortals. The Geistnacht would fall, and the dead would becomeeven more restless. Now was the moment to strike. He didnt had all eternity... Actually, he had. But not now. Not at Geistnacht. No, he had to be quick.
Very quick. He didnt want the entire town to know that the Undead were coming from the sewers.

As the forces moved into place N'emoran flew over-head dropping heads onto the enemy causing panic and he began to drop some nurglings onto towers and roofs. His pet began to breath toxic fumes above the city. Before the guards could fire a arrow the were on the floor choking. Suddenly N'emoran felt stronger like a new spell was gifted he landed his beast and dismounted, walked to a guard on the floor and removed his helmet. The guard vomited not even the Nurgle lord's followers had seen his face, N'emoran tilted his head back then thruster it forward unleashing a hail of putrid blood, pus, maggots, slime and other foulness. The guard screamed as his flesh melted away, N'emoran climbed back on his Dragon and headed back to camp Fear and disease is spreading fast and now he has the STREAM OF CORRUPTION spell.

"Swiftly now, be quick be quick!" Snikrit squeeked. The rats ran down the dank avenue, whiskers twitching in anticipation. Ahead of them was a halbadier, the first of many. Snikrit pulled a blade from under his cloak and plunged it into the guard's back, piercing his lung and preventing him from yelling. And a second time, just to make sure. Above them he could hear childish giggling and playful laughter. No matter, everyone here was going to die anyway. Snikrit and his Gutter Runners headed towards the castle with haste, dispatching the town guard as they went...

Amidst the chaos of internal strife the orcs began to start forming up outside the city. Today there would be a glorious battle.
The lobbers were in place other orc lords were prepping their attacks to follow. The orcs would hit the town gate like nothing ever seen. 3 seperate warbands were collaberating on the first assault. with 3 more waves lead by smaller warbands of orcs.

The Gutter Runners attached their grapples to the top of the castle and made their way up slowly and quietly... Climbed over a window sill and entered the count's bedroom, he was their target: with him dead, he would not be able to coordinate the town's defence and it would fall into the hands of the Skaven. As they crept in, they noticed something odd. His bed sheets were stained in blood. Snikrit motioned to his troops to stay still as he moved closer to investigate. The count was dead, and not by their hands. No matter. He was dead and it was good enough for them. The team moved down the stairs, now to kill his son and heir.

Before he left the city something N'emoran would finish the city's leaders. N'emoran's dragon smashed the glass window leading to the count's chamber, but the king lay dead and there was claw marks and a wet fur smell lingering in the air.....Skaven were here must have been Snikrit and his warriors. Walking around the room N'emoran saw a a small gap in the wall and walked towards in and placed his head against the wall.......A whimper. N'emoran lifted his mighty Manreaper and smashed it against the wall unitl there was a large gap he could see who was in there, it was the countess.
"Your highness" N'emoran said as he lifter his crossbow and fired the arrow piercing her chest impaling her onto the wall. He placed his fingers in her blood and drew Nurgles symbol, Suddenly a portal ripped open and hordes of nurglings flooded through to cause mayhem.
"Let us go see our fury allies!" Said N'emoran as he followed the trail of the Skaven with his giggiling nurglings.

"That smell, is Clan Pestilence joining with us for the assault, Snikrit?" asked one of his Runners.
"I know not. If the Warlord has negotiated with the Plague Priests then all the better, but we must focus on the task at hand. The count's son's room is just down this corridor, once he is dead I shall give the signal to our friends below ground, and the slaughter shall begin. For the horned hat!" Snikrit whispered. He and his men slinked down the corridor. The door whined as it opened, awakening the boy. He opened his mouth to scream, but a throwing dagger struck him between the eyes. "The deed is done, now we must get to the sewers. From there we shall make our way to the Warlord and tell him it is time."
The rats leapt out the window and onto the city walls. From there they saw the massing orc forces. His jaw dropped, the city was not to be theirs afterall. Not without a fight, anyway. Snikrit heard a calling from the window. A man stood there, flies buzzing about his bloated and rotting form,

"Do not forget the heir or the peasants will battle to protect him. NOW GO!" He yelled as he flew away.

A long deep "Hurrrnnnk" rolled across the wind as a chorus of orcish warhorns sounded. The battery of orcish lobbas from several warbands began unloading on the town walls in a attempt to make an opening in the walls or take out archers mounted on top of the wall system. Next the conglomerate wave launched with a pair of battering rams made of nearby trees and many many warriors. leading the charge was Grobnotter the army's shamen. Storming out of the sewers, the undead caused fear all around him. The castle wasbreached by the Chaos Warriors and Skaven. Now was his time to play the part. The Orcs advanced, and lobbas launched rocks. The city burned already. It went too.. easy. Leading his Terrorgheist into the air, Ghast moved towards the gate. The Orcs would surely want to enter the city. He would give them that. Summoning the ghost's of the long dead, the Terrorgheist once again shrieked. The Geistnacht had begun. Snikrit had little time to react, a boulder hit the wall causing him to lose balance and fall off. He hit the floor hard, luckily the wall fragments missed him. He stood and looked around, hiss troops laid motionless around him and ahead of him was a horde of greenskins yelling war cries. Another boulder hit the wall behind him, opening up a hole. He darted through the gap and re-entered the city. He saw Chaos at work. Nurglings everywhere.

Groshnik watched as Marienburg burned. The forces of disorder had acted far quicker then Groshnik had thought possible, in just a few days they had smashed down Marienburg's gates and set about pillaging the city. Groshnik was ashamed. While he had been chaseing death in the mountains, the people of Marienburg had been suffering under the whip of this foul collection of miscreants. If he had been here, he could have at least done something, died a noble death defending those who deserved his protection. This was yet another failure, another enrty on his endless list of failures. The fact that he was still breathing was on that list. That's all he seemed capable of doing now, he thought to himself. Failure. No, he would not fail again, behind him stood 4 more cities all of which needed his protection, he could not allow them to be destroyed by these abominations. He had to stop them, but he could not do it alone. The 150 slayers he had with him were a force to be reckoned with, but he needed more. He had already dispatched a messenger to rally the other slayers in the mountains, but it would be days before they could get here, and Groshnik didn't have that kind of time. "Grobnik! I have a job for you!" Groshnik's litte brother came running out of the assembled mob of slayers, "What is it brother?". Grobnik stood before him, his axe slung over his shoulder, a slight grin playing at the corner of his lips. In a way, Grobnik was really the only good thing that Groshnik had ever really done right. He looked after him when he was young, and taught him the ways of war when his father wasn't around to teach him. Now that Grobnik was older, he was as mighty a warrior as Groshnik could have ever hoped. He was proud of him. "Um, Groshnik, you ok?" Groshnik realised he was stareing and shook his head to regain his senses. "I need you to find this famous mercenary I've been hearing about, The Bronze Titan or whatever his name is. Offer him what coin we have for his services. . ." Groshnik looked across the bridge at Marienburg, it was still burning, ". . . looks like were gunna need 'em". Grobnik departed quickly taking two giant slayers with him as well. Now that that was done, Groshnik turned his attention to yet another proplem, the bridge he was standing on. This bridge was the only way across the River Andurin, the river was to deep and the current to strong for anything to swim across it, and there were no other bridges within even several days of marching. Groshnik's enemies would be here soon, it was up to him and his slayers to hold back their advance.

Snikrit wasted no time hanging around, he had to leave before the Orcs sacked what remained of the city lest he get caught up in it. He jumped to his feet and sprinted towards the nearest sewer access. As luck had it, the entrance remained clear and so he made his escape from the doomed town. He scrambled down the ladder and entered the sewer. Despite the pungent scent, he was far more comfy here than on the surface. The sky made him sick, he was too accustomed to having something over his head. No matter, he was safe now.
Snitrik made his way towards where the Warlord that had hired the service of Clan Eshin had arranged to meet up after he had killed the Count, he would want to hear the news. However, he arrived to find the Warlord dead. Besides him was his payment in a cloth bag. No matter, such is the life of a Skaven and more importantly he had his payment. The question remained though, who killed him?
Snikrit heard shuffling behind him. He turned around to see a silhouette.
"Hello, Snikrit. I have been waiting for you."

"Yes" Snikrit said as he scurried off into the darkness. He would attack the Dawrves, but not for the Greyseer, no. It would be for revenge. Groshnik owed him an eye.

'my lord, it's a sign! there must be a great war in the north! involving quite some undeads! perhaps we should go there, and then you can maybe even rule the northern lands!'
'rule the norhern lands, you said? the lands without deserts and with great forests? why should anyone want that, it's like hell!'
'well, for power my lord, if you rule the northern lands, you can rule armies bigger than anyone has ever seen!'

BIC: Grobnik sat in the tavern waiting for "The Bronze Titan" to show himself. He had talked with the man's second in command, a goblin, unfortunately. Why did he keep goblins around anyway? They're all just a bunch of backstapping good for nothing gits. Hopefully he didn't have to many goblins fighting for him, otherwise, he might choose not to hire them. Ancient grudges aside, the goblin arranged a meeting for Grobnik and the man, or at least he said he would. It didn't feel right trusting a goblin, well, trust wasn't exactly the right word. He was at the meeting place, at the appointed time, but he kept his money close and Minnormir even closer, just in case that goblin tried anything.

Yes, im going first!
Ghast looked towards the bridge. The other armies were waiting. Surely they would all want ot siege the city... As did he. He wanted to be first. On all accounts, there seemed to be a Von Carstein in the city. It might have been false. It probably was. But he didn't want to miss the chance. No. he didn't. 'forward!' he ordered his army.
As he stepped on the bridge, he heard a clicking sound. Bomb charges. Howling at his inivitable futur, Ghast cursed the living, and all other vampires too. His army crumbled around him.
It was not possible..
He was immortal..
He was a god..
He could not die.
He could not.
With a loud sound, the bridge exploded.
Howling towards the void, Ghast died. He had truly fallen.

Groshnik and his slayers finally arrived at Falkenhold. Grobnik was waiting there for them, it seems he had spread word of their arrival, the gates were open and the commander of the cities garrison was waiting there to greet them. The commander was a young man, relatively new to his position, he seemed almost uncomfortable in his new uniform. Despite his young appearance and recent promotion, the captain's hard look and many scars betrayed several years of combat experiance. "My name is Viktor Frakenvold, what news do you bring of Marienburg? I see smoke rising from the city. How do they fair?" Viktor seemed reluctant to ask, as if he already knew the answer. "The city burns, its people are slain and our enemies march towards Falkenhold. Fortunately I've blown the bridge so it will be at least eight days before we are besieged." Groshnik's answer did not seem to surprise Viktor, "Hm, we need to prepare. I'll ready the garrison." Viktor marched off towards the garrison quarters, Groshnik followed. "How many men are at your disposal?" Groshnik asked, "About 300 state troops, and twice as many milita men." "Any artillery?" "Six great cannon" "And what kind of weapons do you have?" "Our armoury is well stocked, we could easily arm a force three times our current number, and my men are trained in the use of many weapons, they can be equiped as we see fit." "Good. About 150 more of my men are on their way here now, the other 200 or so are still scattered in the nearby mountains. We're still going to need more men. Get all able bodied men from your city and pull them into the milita, that should strenghthen our numbers somewhat." "And what about all those who can't fight?" "We need to get them out of here, is there anyplace where they could go?" "I know a place. Don't worry, I'll get them out." "Alright, send messengers to all the other cities and tell them to do exactly what we are doing, odds are we won't be able to hold them off so we'll need their help if things go poorly." "What about the dwarves guarding the bridge? Do we go to aid them?". Groshnik sighed, "By the time we get there they will already be under siege, there is nothing we can do for them now. Is there anything else?" "One more thing, I hear that there is a force of high elfs somewhere nearby, perhaps we should seek their aid?". Groshnik mumbled something to himself, "Fine, send a messenger to them too!". Groshnik and Viktor stormed off together towards the garrison quarters, ready to set everything in motion.

Snikrit sat on a rooftop in Frankenhold, observing the conversation. Infiltrating the city had been no easy task, he had been spotted twice. Luckily, his aim was true enough as to land a throwing dagger into his foes. No matter, he was in now. The sun was setting and an icy breeze began to blow, putting his fur on it's end. He shivered. Below him, Groshnk and another Dwarf were moving towards the garrison building. He pulled a long and thin sword from it's sheath and applied a deadly toxin to the blade. He followed the two across several rooftops until he found the perfect position to strike.
He leapt down, hitting the ground softly as to create as little noise as possible. He followed the two into the narrow alley.

"Why do we go this way?" he whispered to the man.
"This is the quickest route to the garrison quarters, unless you'd like to take the long way around?"
"No this is fine."
Their next few steps were stooped in silence.
"We are being followed" Viktor broke the silence.
"I know"
Groshnik had been aware even before they had entered the alley. He knew this foe, it was no mere assassin, this was Snikrit, an old enemy. Groshnik drew Myarnir from his belt, and Viktor in turn drew his sword. They turned to face their opponent.
"Snikrit, we meet again you slippery git." Snikrit seemed startled that his presence was now known, but he recovered quickly.
"Fight me Snikrit, no more cowaring in the shadows. Fight me, and let us finally put an end to this."
Groshnik stood ready to recieve Snikrit's attack, his axe gripped tightly in his hands, waiting for Snikrit to make his move.

OOC: Groshnik isn't with Grobnik, he's with Viktor, so I guess you poisoned him instead. Also, Viktor isn't a dwarf, he's a man. Anyway back to the fight.
BIC: Groshnik was overcome with fury. He had not known Viktor for long, but he had grown attached to the man, and Snikrit's cocky grin was just to much for Groshnik. With a mad cry of anger, he fell upon the skaven scum. At first Groshnik's attacks did little other then amuse Snikrit, but as Snikrit grew tired, and Groshnik's rage grew, Snikrit was finding it hard to keep up with the frenzied dwarf. Suddenly Snikrit's guard dropped, and Groshnik imediately took advantage, manageing to cut the tip of Snikrit's tail clean off, forceing him to drop the dagger he had clutched in it. Surprised Snikrit leapt back from Groshnik. He now stood several feet away from him, stareing in shock at where the tip of his tail had been. Groshnik's rage subsided somewhat, the rat's displeasure made him laugh.
"Not so cocky now eh?!"
Before the rat could respond Groshnik was on him again, showering him in yet another furious storm of death.
45570
Post by: DeadlySquirrel
OOC: Sorry about that. I'm terrible with names.
BIC: Snikrit barely dodged the flurry of blows from his nemesis. With the tip of his tail missing, he was at a severe disadvantage. He could only hold two blades now, and he wasn't used to it. But all he needed to do was cut the Dwarf, and he would be dead within an hour. That is, unless someone cured him.
Snikrit pressed the attack once more, striking repeatedly against his foe. Without the third dagger though, he couldn't get round the Dwarf's defences. He dropped back. Both combatants were tiring. A surge of pain went through him as he remembered about his tail. The Dwarf owed him more than an eye now. He spat on the floor. His saliva was bloody. He leapt forward once more, splitting the axe of the Dwarf with the sheer force of his blow, but even with halfan axe the Dwarf defended himself successfully.

Tears, tears were forming in Groshnik's eyes. Myarnir, his families axe, the one that had been used by the Grungersuns for over 900 years, was broken in two. How could he have let this happen, this axe was as much a part of the clan as he was, and he let some rat brake it in half. Yet another failure. Groshnik could not undo what had already been done, but he could make Snikrit pay for it. Now more ferocious than ever, Groshnik sent blow after blow at the traitorous skaven scum. With each strike Snikrit's defence relented just a little, and Groshnik showed no sign of slowing. Eventually Snikrit fumbled and Groshnik sent one of his daggers flying down the alley, it landed several feet behind Groshnik. But Groshnik also let his guard down, and Snikrit took advantage of this and knocked Myarnir out of Groshnik's hand. Now that Groshnik was defenceless, Snikrit got ready to deliver the killing blow, but before he could seize the moment Groshnik's fist was in his face. Dazed and confused, Snikrit stumbled backwards, his dagger slipping from his paw and fell onto the ground, and Snikrit followed soon after. Groshnik was panting hard, that fight had really drained him, but it wasn't done yet. Groshnik retrieved Myarnir and gripped it tightly. He stood over Snikirit, his breathing heavy and his mind filled with thoughts of vengeance. Now he could finally finish this.

OOC: I'm not quite sure if everyone understands where my character is, so I'll clarify. Groshnik is in Falkenhold, the second city on the map (literally it is the number two). The place that is currently being attacked is a dwarven fort that is supposed to be defending the other bridge (the fort does not have a name yet). I mentioned this in one of my IC posts, saying that there was no way that Groshnik could really get to them in time to really make a difference, so he was just going to focus on Falkenhold.

BIC: Snikrit summoned the strength to raise his head and look the Dwarf in the eye. He spat some saliva out. It was filled with blood and he had lost a tooth.
"This isn't over, scum. Not yet." Snikrit covered his face with his cloak and detonated a Poison Wind Globe. In the ensuing panic and confusion, he slipped away into the darkness.

The orcish armies now quickened in pace speeding up to a trans-plain pace. Their stockpiles of gear and equipment moving with them. At these paces only the fastest of cavalry riders would be able to keep up with the hordes of greenskins. With the current pace the orcish hordes would arrive at the city's outskirts by sundown. (And so it begins)

The Chaos-spawned horror, taken off guard, smashes through a nearby wall, half leaping, half being pushed. It then gets to it feet slowly before lunging foward with its barbed limbs, and slams the upstart mortal to the floor, howling horrifically as it raises its clawed arm, ready to smash in the fool's puny skull.

The orcish hordes now entered the greater Falkenhold area now becoming a threat to the outlying villages. Many orcs set up camp but a fair group of orcs lead by a loyal follower (Translation: NPC) began to demand weapons from one of the villages. This group was only just a large band of boys lead by a black orc cheiftan. For now the vast majority of the orcish hordes (and their NPC friends) where nowhere to be found. This was of course very alarming to the leaders in charge of Falkenhold's defence as orcs which cannot be located are a far greater threat than those that can be located.

The Hydra's legion now enter the Falkenhold area, following behind their greenskin 'allies'. The number of spawn and forsaken following them had doubled, as the ritual was going well. Soon everyone they killed would rise up as spawn. Soon.
The Chaos lord, with a howl of anger gets to his feet slowly, how could that puny mortal have evaded him? HIM? With a growl he sprints after his target, Nurgle-blessed forsaken now slipping out of the shadows to join him.

The orcs now began burning the outlying villages of Falkenhold. From these villages they would gather weapons and supplies needed to erect siege weapons and platforms for the upcoming siege of Falkenhold keep. (their is a keep there with many treasures inside (gold and goodies oh my!) The keep is defended by a modest garrison of empire solders. The city is defended by a large army of dwarves from the hills as well.) Orcs began to draft their primary attack plan for the city of Falkenhold. The greenskins also began to move their lobba battery into a position overlooking the city.

Standing on the walls Falkenhold, Tyrion overlooked the area. The city's efences were strong. Stronger then that of the last city. This one didnt had any acces points, save for the gates.
With the city's defenders arriving in bigger reinforcements everyday, and a ship from the Phoenix Court on the way here, the city seemed nearly impossible to take..

Just on time the orcs showed up on the hill to the north of the town. With them they had a large iron clad tower that belched out dark black smoke. Trails of smoke could also be seen from their predictable lobba battery overlooking the town from the hill they were perched on. The orcish horde consisted of many, many well armored orcs with spear and sheild and some less armored orcs with crossbows. The lesser clans attacked from the south in a common orcish manner. Meanwhile other orcs set up a camp where the bridge once was. They seemed intent on repairing it so they could bring their spoils of war to a safe location.

The Hydra's allies had come quicker than expected, their tools would be of great use. Their allies had two things of great use; the rot hulks, cultists of nurgle warped to gigantic sizes, more similar to greater demons of nurgle, than men. They made great siege beasts. The second, more effective thing at their disposal, was the bulbous one, a huge abomination of nurgle, who constantly spews out noxious gasses, paralysing all those who pass through it. All these forces were now marching directly towards the fort alongside their orc allies.
The siege was as good as won.

With the first crack of cannon fire the orcish horns sounded again "wonk wonk Hurrrnnnk" signaling the attack order to all of the besigers. The smoke belching tower trundled forward deflecting crossbow longbow and handgun alike. None of the cannons had yet to get a bead on the tower so it was unknown how its iron clad bulk would stand against a cannon round. Orcish lobbas opened fire without hesitation firing more rapidly than before thanks to the boiler assisting in the firing and reloading process. orc warriors advanced in number with simple ladders to scale the walls. Gobgut and his bodyguards had taken shelter in the tower.

Groshnik awoke. He was face down in the alley, a small pool of blood had collected around his head. He pushed himself up onto his elbows, his head felt like someone was hammering a bell inside it. He ran his fingers over his mouth, there was blood on them. That rat must have poisoned him, could thing dwarves were resistant to poison.
Slowly, Groshnik got to his feet, he was glad to find that Myarnir was still clutched in his hand. He tried to walk but his vision was fuzzy and his balance was off, so he fell back to the ground instead. With a grunt of effort Groshnik lifted himself back up again, this time taking it slowly, one step at a time.
He saw Viktor, he was alive, barely. Viktor was propped up against the wall, his breathing sporatic, more like he was gasping then breathing.
"Viktor . . . Viktor are you alright?" Groshnik made his way over to him. He tried to help him to his feet, grabbing his arm and hoisting him up, but Viktor just let out a cry of pain and slumped back to the ground.
Viktor lifted his hand to reveal the wound in his side which was bleeding heavily.
"To late for me friend." Viktor smiled and chuckled to himself, blood spurted from his lips. The sound of cannon being fired in the backround signalled the beginning of the siege.
"We're to late. . ." Viktor sighed. He pulled a rolled up bit of parchment from his pocket.
"This is it . . . this is where the people will be safe." Viktor unrolled the parchment and showed it to Groshnik.
"Promise me. . . promise me you'll get them out." Viktor looked up at Groshnik, tears were welling up in his eyes.
"I will. I promise I will"
"Good, the promise of a dwarf can never be broken, I've learned that much from dealing with your people." Viktor laughed for a moment with Groshnik before he coughed up yet more blood.
"Goodbye, Groshnik." Viktor closed his eyes and allowed himself to die, a look of relief was etched onto his face.
Groshnik left Viktor where he was, there was no time to deal with the dead now, he had to worry about the living. He rushed off to the garrison, he needed to get his dwarves organized.

As the tower advanced ever closer It took a cannon to the side. The Shot glanced off the iron plating however it knocked the iron plate loose evidently. Goblins bleed out from cracks in the tower with the goal to repair the break before the tower could take any signifigant damage.
(the main orc clan will NOT be participating in the 3rd town siege they will be constructing an experemental device for the 4th siege- the dwarven mountain hold of Grudgeborn. I still will however note that the lesser clans will still be present. with their normal rabble. spying or attempting to destroy this device is HIGHLY recommended (some elves or something will do so if no one does, as this device will require preperation to stop. Regarding the siege tower, it is constructed mainly of wood soaked in water to prevent burning, next is damp leather to prevent burning and catch stray arrows, then in the front is iron armor to protect the tower from powerful attacks. The whole tower is propelled by a steam based system saving vastly on manpower.)

Snikrit dropped from his perch on the thatched roof. The rumbling of the ground and the thudding of cannon a sure sign this city was being assailed. He dived into the shadows to avoid detection by the passing platoon of Halbadiers. They were headed to reinforce the main gate.
"Blast." Snikrit whispered. His primary escape was gone. And there were no underground passages or sewer system for him to make use of either. That meant only one thing... He would have to wait for a breach in the wall and then run a gauntlet past the inevitable horde of Orcs. Last time, it didn't go well. His head still hurt from the duel with that Dwarf... More importantly however, his preferred fighting style could no longer be used.Perhaps he could go to Moulder after all this and have a blade grafted onto his stump. He sprinted down several back alleys and waited in the blackness of the city's darker parts.

The orcish tower and its acompanying orcs grew ever closer to the walls the defenders reacted by trying to move hellblasters into a position to attack the tower, However another cannon shot flung itself against the iron armor, knocking it yet again loose. It appeared that cannons had the force to knock the iron armor of the large tower loose. Just as the defenders got their hellblasters into position the tower stopped, Its heavy ramp crashed into the top of the wall and latched in, Gobgut and his bodyguard were the first out followed by more orcs still. The battery of improved lobbas continued to lay down their barrage of boulders and other heavy objects.

with their metal supplies in hand the orcs began migrating elsewhere flooding out of the city and into the woods in the direction of the destroyed bridge. There at the bridge orcs were setting up camp and constructing minor fortifications. A scaffold rose above the camp far larger than any normal warmachine. On the far side of the river the orcs were building a repacement bridge of wood so they could get their supplies across the river. A mechanism would be in place so that the orcs would be able to lower or raise the bridge if needed.

'my lord, i have the feeling that some of them suspect something, the warsphinxes aren't exactly quiet.''
'don't worry, priest, most of them are asleep, and those guards are drunk. We'll just continue the attack and we'll win. Give the sign to fire!' 'yes, my lord.'
Sethbis gave a sign to the archers to fire, and so they did. a rain of burning arrows hit the town, and only moments later, some guards raised the alarm. soldiers and male-citizens filled the town walls and shot the archers, although they could not see them very clear, but they knew, that this was war.

The orcs were moving right on. Reports from rangers in the wilderness tell of a massive scaffold at the heart of a crude fort of logs and tents. The rangers also tell of a bridge the orcs lower to bring metal to the scaffold. Their were also smaller scaffolds with noticeable constructs of metal. Lastly the rangers report a large collection of boilers and steam related machines.
