Started on my Ork Battle fortress. The last time I played orks about eight years ago I had a battlewagon that I put a sail on. I never finished painting it and sold it a while back, now I want it back so I decided to theme my fortress and went all out, I even studied ships.

DUDE! This is getting more and more awesome all the time! I love the landraider thing!

Absolutely awesome, that scratch built battle wagon is incredible. But I think my favorite is that first truck you did, I love how it looks like it has this evil jackolantern like grin. Must be a lot of fun to put this army on the table and do some stompin with it! Howabout a picture of all the vehicles so far together?

I thought about gun ports, but it is just a plain Ork Battle Fortress, open topped super heavy with 3 big guns. I would have to put more points into it for more guns. I figured if it's guns weren't scary it wouldn't be such a target and would give the orks a better chance to get there.

Chances are, plasticard is notoriously to take decent pics of.

Love this so much, ork choppers have a special place in my heart and this is one of the best I have seen.

Too late, it's glued.

Shame, but it is is what it is . I tend to glue mesh behind big openings because it makes painting heaps easier.

Oh and you can always take the front back off, any damage you do just adds to the design, do stuff like that all the time myself.

Yes I am a very lazy painter, I started this army years ago then as I started to paint I got married and had 3 kids, now beginning to model 4 years later I am waiting on the new codex to pick a clan. Although I may go clanless.

That is magnificent.

It is funny, I have had so much fuss trying to get the right wheels over the years. There are some brilliant ones out there for sale, since industries for one, but I have also bought toys just for wheels and tried to make my own. So with all that said, brilliant job on​the wheels bud.

Started on the new Wartrike. I have to customize it to my liking.

Chopped the roll cage, didn't like it.

Didn't like the double front wheel, call me old school but I had to put an old ork wheel on it.

Chopped off the suspension, I want to give him tank treads for back wheels.

You have some really good modelling skills. It seems that you have already done pretty much all the orky modelling ideas I have been thinking, and made them even better.

No it's the next size down, maybe 90x52 or 105x70 I haven't measured.

Middle as in waist? The proportions probably look off because it's made out of many models that weren't supposed to be together, I was planning on using green stuff later.

I have said it elsewhere, but GW rules and mucking about only affects you if you are actually playing in GW or a tourny, house rules apply anywhere else, easy enough to come to an agreement on values and such.

Mind you I am not one to talk, I never think about the rules when I build, I build for fun.

'Naut makes alot more sense now. If i'd build one, I'd either make it tracked, or go the route you did here. That way, the legs actually make sense

Not bad at all! I feel the upper arm could use some structural beefing up though, it seems a tad.. thin?

Ammo drum would not look out of place, but what about a waist mounted bucket with a feed to the gun.

I was thinking the same thing, armor plates isn't a bad idea.

The truck is looking brilliant. Maybe a little armour plating to protect the boys on the mid section of the top deck. Not to much to keep it in with the rest of the truck. Just looks a little clean up there at the mo. Other than that it looks brilliant.

I am hoping to get some painting done over Christmas break. My old airbrush was crap if you look at the tank I painted it had splatter everywhere. I just got a new one, hopeful it's good.

It was meant to be open topped so I don't want too much protecting them. You're right, I always do my dinks last after I'm done gluing.

You have nailed it. Easily as good as the original. You know what is bad, I am an Ork guy, and I know that came out in Orktober. But did not register. I hope this next batch of sigmar grots is a bit better. Your effort though is brilliant. Love it.

So I had these trukk/buggies sitting around and since they were taken out of the codex and I need mek guns, I decided to convert them. Here they are with the rokkits taken off.

So I got a half built Leman Russ in a bits bag and decided to do something with it. It had tons of plastic cement on it and it took me hours to crack it apart and file the glue off.

The Leman Russ is very interesting, good work on bringing it back from the brink, I know what you mean about how much is involved in recovering some of the work people do on these things.

The stretch limo is looking brilliant bud, is that the engine from the Taurox kit? Liking the build so far.

Your army looks awesome. The only issue I have is that your pictures are so gigantic they don't always load. Please, smaller your photos before uploading them. You can easily use a program like paint (that comes standard with any PC) to achieve this.

Sorry, laziness on my part. I switched from photobucket to imgur, and photobucket shrunk images automatically.

With imgur I like to select "medium thumbnail" -- then you get a smallish picture here but it's clicky to take you to the full sized image.

Loving all the guys. Some great poses. Shame about the rokkit launcha buggy, I like the idea, but if you are restricted by the rules It is difficult.

As to the image thing, I have always used Dakka, guess I ought to try different things but it works for me. Hate the whole gallery thing though. I mean I vote a fair bit, but some people are real idiots and you see some amazing work with stupid low scores. But I ignore that these days.
