What Must Stay Ours (Conclave)
(All Conclave players are here)
As the remnants of the UN forces are put down by concentrated fire, two figures escape the massacre through a maintenance shaft, slamming the grate back into place even as mycomorphs pry it open and flood into the shaft a moment later. As the first level of the Foundry is brought back under control, and rebellious workers are executed by slashing their throats with combat knives, as to not waste ammunition. The two corpses of those slain by that... 'thing' begin to change in awful, hideous ways. The body of the jump trooper writhes like a serpent, it's stomach bulging obscenely as the entrails within seek their freedom. In a shower of gore, the bowels rip themselves free from it's gut, lashing about like frenzied worms as they begin to separate into individual tentacles. Thin needles of bone now tip the entrails, covered in minute barbs that promise an agonizing death. The corpse pushes itself free of it's lower half, it's arms popping and crackling as bone and tissue move about to accommodate it's new form of locomotion. The mutilated head explodes with new and terrible growth as fangs push their way out of the mouth. Crawling along the ground, the creature leaps through the shaft, propelling itself forwards with it's muscular arms. The body of the woman soon follows, shaking as if under great pressure. With a meat-rending effusion of gore, her ribcage bursts from her chest, opening like a horrible maw of jagged fangs. Her head drops from her body with a dull, wet thud as a barbed tentacle snakes from the hole. Her legs splinter and reform as they bend backwards like that of a predatory beast, twisting as they regenerate. The wretched beast makes for the shaft as well, it's ribjaws sawing hungrily at the air as it does so.

Detrivore (UN)
As the team turns right, a horrid cry escapes from the lips of Sergeant Moss as a ichor covered tongue lashes around his throat, dragging him back to a grisly end as the serpentine horror who accosts him whoops excitedly as it draws it prey closer to it's rending mouth. Dave runs, his legs carrying him far father than he ever thought possible, reaching the door as the creatures gain behind them. Tearing off the panel to the door controls, he inserts his multi-tool, attempting to override the security lock. With a whoosh, the door clangs open, and Dave, Liz, and Nighthawk pass through the door, running ever faster to escape the unmen. They now find themselves in a passage lit by the same bloody light as before, leading in two seperate directions, one to the left, and one leading straight on.
As James and Varz exit the shaft, they hear the things howling as they pursue the two men through the shaft. They look about, finding themselves in the underbelly of the Foundry, with pipes and panels lining the walls. Light is provided by red lamps mounted on the walls, shedding an eerie crimson glow on the passage. There's only one way to go now. Forward.

Detrivore (James and Varz)
As the first mycomorphs crawls from the shaft, a gangly creature with freakishly long limbs tipped with bony hooks that laughs uncontrollably as it twitches it's way towards Varz. As it fully leaves the shaft, it's short, muscular legs can be seen, each capped with a large, flat foot with tentacular toes. It leaps with incredible force, it's hooks flailing wildly as it leaps. Varz ducks out the way, and the thing crumples against the side of the wall, picking itself back up with it's almost boneless arms. It turns it's white milky eyes towards Varz as it gives a manic laugh as it swings it's limbs towards the soldier. Varz fires, bursting it's skull open with a single round, slamming it back against the wall with the force of the shot. Now, more mycomorphs clammer from the shaft, each with hunger in their empty, soulless, white eyes.

As they sprint down the passage, air burning in their lungs with each gasp, the unmen give chase, crawling, flapping, or scuttling towards their prey. A spine hurled from the ropey entrails of a mycomorph strikes James in the leg, punching out the other end with a gory crack of splintering bone. He falls, but Varz grabs him by the arm, pulling him towards the single open door at the end of the corridor.

Pulling the spine from his leg, James winces in pain as blood pumps from the wound, leaving a red ribbon behind him as he limps on with all the strength he can muster. The door is close now, the unmen are closer.

Searching through the level directly below the one you arrived on, you come across the Phantom's corpse, little more than a chunk of ragged meat, with shattered bones protruding from the flesh at bizarre angles, like some kind of grotesque tree. The right arm is nearly gone, the bullets having rendered it to a bloody skeleton. His neck is obviously broken, twisted nearly off his torso by the force of the fall.

Varz and James stumble through the doorway as the gibbering things close, the blast door's servos shrieking as it slams shut, severing the limbs and heads of the mad unmen. Breathing a sigh of relief, the two take a short breather, collapsing to the floor in exhaustion. Then the door begins to shake. The mycomorphs hurl themselves against the door, beginning to bend the steel frame in their need to murder. The two renew their escape struggling to get away before the door falls in. Suddenly, an access door whooshes open, and a pair of hands pull the struggling men inside as the door slams shut once more. Looking up, Varz and James meet eyes with a familiar face. "Rachel?"

The Mauler-pattern shotgun is a 35-gauge weapon used primarily in crowd control and close-quarters fighting. A Mauler may be loaded with solid-shot Manstopper rounds if needed.

"HQ has ordered us to chase the non-standards in the maintenance shaft, Specter did not wish to do so apparantly and was punished accordingly. We will continue to engage nonstandards in the shaft. Would Love to join if you Boys wanna let me  Name: Terrence Blackwood Personality:Apperance: His white hair and tall build are imposing to start with and then you add the powerful Physique and lethal temperament and you get the most deadly person your ever likely to encounter. His eyes are mismatched, one ice blue, the other milky white, the eyes are unnerving and with his cold speech and calm disposition he is an incredibly intimidating person. Terrence has something that sets him apart from many people and makes some people scared of him (Even more so than usual) its also the reason why he very rarely speaks. He has a large groove on his cheek caused by a bullet wound that nearly took his face of, it has severed some of the muscles in his jaw meaning that his smile is lopsided and his speech is even harder to pin down. And ontop of this already grisly spectacle his chest is covered with a mass of scars, thin lines caused by a knife or other blded instrument. A doctor would say they were self inflicted, but noone will ever know because he never talks about them. His clothes are as tattered as his body, a Patched leather Jacket worn from use, that has a lining of monofilament fibres threaded through it which makes it practically indestructible, thus whatever casued the places where the patches are was something powerful indeed. His old Cargo pants are hung with trophies of various types, but by and by large they are hung with cartridge caps that all have a number engraved along the rim. His belt has many dozens of these caps... At age 32 his personality hasnt changed much from when he was 18, cold distant and lethal. But his inner warmth can be reached by the right people. Faction: UN remnant Class: Sniper Personal History: Terrence's life has been split between different countries and to him almost different worlds, the places he has been and the things he has done have crafted him into a nearly soulless man. The answer is simple, as soon as someone gives him reason to trust them, he does, implicitly, but if for some reason they should break that trust, then he kills them. The first significant time someone broke his trust they found themelfs missing the arm that had fired the bullet that gave Terrence his highly obvious scar. But he does trust people and he does have emotions, this being evidenced by the ring he still wears on the thrid finger of his left hand, a simple gold band that his hand almost seems to have accepted as part of itself. His cold personality gives way to an even stronger sense of affection if anyone can get under his guard. But if that person should betray him, then they share the fate of everyone else who is foolish enough to do so. Some people who have been by him when he has to fight notice that when he kills someone he counts, every time he pulls the trigger someone dies, and he adds anouther number to his count, and the number he starts at is truly terrifying. I like it because it feels more like a Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader sort of deal. I think its also for when players end up fighting each other, makes it a lot easier just to roll a dice.

Your characters will be ok for the most part if you make good decisions and don't act like an idiot. A certain Conclave player decided to run headlong trying to break through a window on a moving tram when he had the option to stop the tram all together and walk in. He rolled, failed, and crashed into the side of the tram, broke his neck, fell a long distance, and was eaten by monsters. Suffice to say he deserved to die for that decision. It adds a element of realism while still allowing you to customize you character completely.

Its actually kind of easy, you just think of what you want your character to do and then pick a number if you have to. Not too intense in the creativity department for players in my opinion.

Slipping into the shaft, DAB746151 lights the hand torch, illuminating the boxy tunnel as he slides down the turn leading downwards. He lands with a thump, hitting the metal plating with a hearty clang. Lifting his head in the bloody light, DAB746151 finds that the horrid din of inhuman screeching and the tearing of steel is now silent. Glaring at him from the gloom are dozens of pale, lifeless eyes, locked onto the soldier with an unblinking gaze. The blast door blocking their passage has been reduced to a shredded ruin, yet it is still jammed in the doorway, preventing the things from further pursuing their prey. The unmen continue to watch DAB746151, as if waiting for him to act.
On the surface, the com of the Specter intones. "Understood, proceed as designated." As the Foundry begins to lurch back into production, a squad of Murder Troopers enters through the ruined front gate, charge rifles at the ready, an Officer of the Thought Police at their head. The group walks along the line of workers, where the officer occasionally points one out to the squad, who respond in a flurry of laser fire that blackens the corpse of the thought criminal.

As the panicked survivors of Beta Group rush down the left passage, the howling coming from behind them suddenly stops, and it seems that the entire world is holding it's breath. Peering out from a corner, Liz frowns as she looks back at the rest of the group; "They're gone...." The survivors now find themselves in front of an erratic door that rapidly opens and closes as if deranged, slamming back and forth with no discernible pattern.

He begins searching the corridor for any over way out and tries not to make to much noise just in case those creatures

Placing the charges on the ruined door, DAB backs away as the Specter rolls a grenade towards the door. The mycomorphs stay where they are, eyes fixed on the pair of them. The resulting explosion vaporizes several of the nearest horrors, sending the twisted blast door sailing down the corridor, only to embed itself in a wall. The pale scraggly face of a man in a patient's gown peeks around the corner, ducking back inside as bullets from the Specter's rifle whiz past his head. The mycormorphs surge forward what only can be described as glee, freakish limbs scything as they crash against the now sealed door from whence the face peered. Within, Rachel cursed, looking for a way to escape their impending doom. Her eyes fall upon a section of vent grating. She pries it off, screaming for her companions to follow her into the vents.

The sounds of gibbering and gunfire can be heard from ahead, but do to the acoustics of the Foundry, it could be coming from anywhere.
