Now you laugh marine but i show you something. He takes his little trophy rack. Her are 50 dogtags of heretical marines all slain in combat. Hand to hand. So i think you dont want to be number 51 do you? So i say it again dont you dare to betray me.

The Marine look at the dogtags slowly,

"I diddnt even know they still wore these."

He gives them back to you.
"Not that I want this to turn into a pissing match but im not exactly a lamb either." He takes his bolter of his mag holster and shows you the handle. The handle is covered in scratches which you at first disregard but then you look closer and see that they are a tally, that stretches into the hundreds

"Traitors, every one, you look at the kill marks of any of my Brothers and you will see similar marks. some have more, some less. The point is that even if somehow you manage to take one of us down, the rest will pound you to a pulp and then chain you in the brig of our ship, and keep pounding you to a pulp every single day for the rest of your miserable existance. Dont try and tell me your a hard case Boy. Theres a reason im 15 times your age Seargeant, its because the emperor has seen fit to grant me existance. Now dont you take this furthur or you will be the one being called traitor."

he looks at the marine. And says emotionless "and everytime you beat me i will just rise. And now i need to get my men to safety. He starts the chimera.

The Marine sighs and slams the cimeras hatch shut
you hear him tlaking to his friend as they wait for the chimera to start up
"These guardsmen never have any respect'

The chimera splutters into life and then roars and it growls away form the battlefield, you hear other Chieras around you and the unmistakable raor of the Thunderhawks engines

"He doesnt know how it is." He says to himself. "He doesnt know what it is to do the dirty jobs. We went to the places nobody ever dared to enter. We rushed under my command into the chaos imperator soulsbane and nobody will ever know. If i show him my datalog of missions i think he will have some respect but they only see themselves as heroes while they are the fallen. The fallen are traitors or they just chose a wrong name. Because they think we are thankfull when they save our lives? But they dont know.... they dont know.

"They will never know about the REAL horrors of the warp. But why should i bother. We are just gaurdsmen right? They dont even care about soldiers. Can i get a vox? I want command on the line. We need orders."

And why should we show respect if they make us disobey our orders. He slams his fist against the board. Good men die under my command and they dont bother. He rubs some dirt from the generals helmet.

When the Chimera finally stops you get out of the transport and a truly astonishing sight meets your eyes, hundreds upon hundreds of fallen are standing rank to rank with their helmets off all looking at the dias at the far end of the command pavilion.

You look at the closest marines face and his eyes are streaming with tears.

Soon you realise why they are all there, a massive armoured figure ascends the Dias with his helmet mag locked to his belt. The body of a single Marine in his arms. The white Armour of the Marine signifies his position as an apothecary. You look around and anouther guardsman comes up.
"Theyve been like this for hours, they just lost a titan and 87 of their number to heritics and necrons.
"What are they doing?"
"Honouring their dead"
"What happened?"
"They engaged an army of 200000 cultists and even more necrons about 15 clicks from here, the chaos lord was reputedly heading for your position they sent in 75 terminators and just under a hundred marines, and a titan. Destroyed hundreds of necrons and tens of thousands of cultists, the titan was no help, it got corrupted by sorcery and was set to self destruct. just under 200 Astartes held of more than 10000 times thier number"

Well then we let them. "We feel sorry for the lost ones. But we cant do a thing about it." I walk towards the vox. Do you have command on the line?"

Methies steps off the Thunderhawk. He looks at the guardsmen. He curses their brainwashed minds. They believed anything those corrupt buerocrats and the church spewed their way. They were almost as bad as the chaos cultists, but they stilled served the emporer and demanded respect. "Jaral jam their vox I dont need the whole command structure doing whatever to kill us. Their numbers need to stay what they are", Methies voxs. "Aye", Jaral replies.

186 immediatly understands that he is jammed and walks to their leader."why are you jamming my vox? Or is this what i think it is and is this a trap? Because then i will have to inform HQ with an magnetic message. Soo.... why are you jamming my vox?

"We would like to stay unknown until the battle fleet arrives. I have no wish to kill your men on this planet. They are all citizens of the cursed imperium but they serve the emporer the same as we do. I wish them no harm, and you will cause more if you vox them. Now have your wounded sent to my apothicary. He will fix them up." Methies replied.

"He cant. He can't fix them. Only the death korps know how to heal ourselves. And i maynot say how it is done because of the pact with the mechanicum. So if you try to help us then let us go to HQ. And why do you wish to stay hidden? An almost full company tries to remain hidden that will be impossible."

"Hahahahahahahahaha, little man you amuse me. Did you know I was here before I saved you..... No.... We are masters of staying hidden. Now I cant let you go to the HQ. Oh and my apothicary has the info he needs to heal your men, or he can obtain in a matter of minutes the info he needs. The imperium means nothing to us, so do not start squabling about the rules we`re breaking to obtain info on your troops. Oh and I suggest you deactivate your plasma pistol before you get any ideas. You`re getting twitchy about it. Either you deactivate it or I do. Your choice", Methies replied back.

Asmodeus stood on his bridge, he was almost worried when he was told of the intercepted message by the astartes on the planet trying to reach the dark angels, how sweet it was telling them that in weeks the dark angels would be on the planet.Truly he must have been blessed by tzeentch at some point, for his luck hadn't been this good since he had made his escape from Caliban.

Now his true plan could come to fruition.

I just feel thats a bit much, plus how would you have intercepted the message if I had sent it to my Hulk then it was instantly sent to the rock. Then the message would have come back and sent directly to me. It would have had codes of Vermillion the highest encyrption that is possible, and you would have had to have had ships to intercept the message the instant it was sent waiting for that exact moment. I`ve read about this stuff. It`s not that easy. I`ve read one 40k book that details the whole process. And it took months to set up the interception. So I say this is a bit OP`ed.

OOC:Remember long range communications are done by Astropaths via warp, which I would reckon Chaos Sorcerers have more skill at then your standard astropath, now if he has a problem with it I will gladdly change it, though a single person running 3-4 groups is a little op imo

I agree with the fact of how its sent but, in the book it says it took weeks for the top of whoever to decrypt it, weeks. You wouldnt have been able to send the mesage back for weeks. I do agree that sorcerers are very epic and better than any astropathic imperium POS, but I`m also renegade using unorthodox astropaths. Not once have I mentioned that I dont use the chaos gods for certain things. I mean Meredith worships Khorne. Methies doesnt care who he works with if it serve the emporer in the end. He isnt a stuck up space marine still brainwashed. He realizes the emporer is dying. And he still fights for him, but he will use whatever in his power to get the job done. As I always say there are those necissary evils.

Asmodeus turned to the watch commander on deck, "what is the situation as far as the other ships?"
The watch commander replied in an even tone "There is the astartes strike cruiser, though from how the Imperial ships gun batteries are charging that probably won't be a problem, there is also the world eaters ship that is strangely silent."
"And of out ships?"
"The Fist of Horus is still heavily damaged from the titan, but the rest are ready to move off if a large fleet of imperial reinforcements arrive"


A psyker ran into the room "My lord, a ship is incoming what do you want us to do"(This would be a good point to either bring in the DA or Orks tyranic)

"Prepare for a fight, send all those aboard the Fist of Horus to the planet, that should keep those on the planet busy."

Methies laughs. He had forgot about the imperial cruisers. The commander stopped not understanding why he was laughing. Then a huge explosion appeared where the imperial battlecruiser was. The space hulks weapons powered down. "Now commander get back here. We have a battle to fight. I let you live if lose, but IF you win I will submit myself to the imperiums will through you. Execute me whatever, I dont care. Now lets get on with this."

"So you wish to fight someone who already is wounded? That is even more pathetic than i thought. We will see each other on the battlefield. Lets say this place. No flyers,no titans and no orbital bombardments. Just tactical warfare who can best who. Thats how it will be. By then i will be healed and by then we can have our duel"

The hulk destroyed the battle cruiser. The other cruisers then fired. But a hulk is equivelent to about three battle cruisers in all but speed. It absorbed the fire. I then had the captain tell the others to disengage and they wouldnt be destroyed. The hulk can take massive amounts of damage. Its a fleet in itself. I just didnt feel like bringing a fleet, considering my fluff says my chapter lives out of a Hulk anyways.

Okay, I fixed a pointless post above, so you guys may want to read it.

In space several imperial ships drop out of warp space and after a moments hesitation, open fire on the already damaged chaos fleet. In total 1 super carrier 3 srike cruisers and about 8 corvettes are involved in the fleet, which bears the livery of the Black templars

A vox message ovverides the jammers in the gorge and overwhelms the vox system with a message.

If you will remember at the start of this mission the only kriegsmen on the planet were the ones that come down in your assault force, and all but a few of those are dead, thus they are ordainary generals some of whom actually give a damn about troops

Yep Markith had a way of looking at it. The the archon he spent free time with (In exchange for pretection) was Sithus, and Markith liked him.
