If people want like 30 I will probably make a new mold to do so. Otherwise this might be limited to ~25 black kiwis in existence ever.
I dunno, Cyp has the last word, but letting her know it is worth doing might be a good plan!
And you might want to let me know a mold is dying in an email, rather then on Dakka.
They go up on the website Friday, and exclusive to Halloween, not TWSW.

BTW the Red Wu are fantastic, I haven't had a chance to put them together, but the detail is awesome

You get flash, but rest assured all bubbles that didn't make me throw it across the room in rage have been filled in by hand.
That's right, you have someone who bills out at >75$ an hour filling in your bubbles for you. Welcome to the high life!

Lol its okay, the flash is fine man, the models look great. I blame... er I mean thank you and the sculptor (was it Daniel or Naismith?)

Hehe any flash will be whisper thin and just scrape off, don't worry about that. Any filled in bubbles will be on the top of the head, because the peak of the mount's hat hated me for some reason.

Lol, It's okay. My red Wu arrived last week, and as I was inspecting them, my cat tried to eat one of my red wu... what are you putting in that resin?

Post by: Wehrkind
Uhm... chances are all Wehrcast models contain large amounts of cat hair and a fine coating of cat spit. This may affect household pets. Keep out of reach of children.
Oddly, my cats don't care about the models much, but they like the sprue bits I cut off, as well as the random flash which Pudding Cup seems to think is tasty.

Post by: Alfndrate
Yeah, I caught him sniffing the sprue some of the arms were sitting on, I picked it up, and he kept sniffing one end and then tried to bite part of the sprue...

Hey Cyp,
I can't log in :-/ hadn't tried since this happened in Sept.
I'd like 5 black kiwis, which I'll pick up locally- any chance of a free shipping voucher for that, since they won't be shipped but I'm just under $100?

We're back in Florida, The Black Kiwi will begin processing tomorrow, and tomorrow is the last day to order him. Ever.
But because of how popular The Black Kiwi was, we're planning on doing another Halloween release next year. It just won't be him, and it will also not be a Brushfire figure (but it will be a Historia Rodentia one again). We want the Halloween LE releases to be special, and we don't want to put out a stat card for a unit that is only going to be available for a limited time.
However, There is going to be a special limited Brushfire figure next year, in April, with a stat card and everything. Its just that in this case the character will be available again, just not the model/pose... so prepare.
Also Aquitar/Vandalands (and to a lesser extent Chugoku) players will be happy to know that a revised Kiwi will be released soon. This brings the mount for the Shrew Hussar/Carbineer down to only 2 pieces, and should be much easier to assemble. It also means that the Hedge Knight's mount will also only be two pieces. The Lem Han are currently being sculpted, and after forcing Daniel to assemble several of the current Kiwis, they should be fewer pieces.

Pilot Brantley & Engineer Falk of Federwerk ( WIP from Gym, gotta get finished pics taken..)
They'll be coming out in December with The Valkyr Mk.1
Bernard Legrand of the Grand Armee is a re-release of the 'Surfing Badger', in fabulous Wehrcast, He'll be coming out in Q1 2013.

Yes, we are still waiting on the green from Jason for the Vizier. Its looking like early next year for both Warbands, as I suspect Daniel will need another month to finish up the Lem Han, and likely a month after that for Wu Xian... and I have no idea when Jason is going to get us the Vizier.

Status of the Lamb - 2012 wrote:
2012 has been a good year for OTLG! We ran two successful Kickstarter campaigns this year, got a new distributor, and added several new retailers to our listing of stockists. The following is a quick rundown of each of our currently active product lines, and what is going on with them:
Brushfire
We ran a successful Kickstarter earlier this year to fund hiring Jason Wiebe to wrap up the contents of the Scyzantium warband, hitting our primary goal and reaching our Chugoku stretch goal. The result of which has allowed us to get Jason to sculpt the Veiled Assassins and Agamid Vizier for Scyzantium, and Daniel to sculpt the Red Wu, Lem Han, and soon enough the Red Wu Hero, Wu Xian for Chugoku; finishing off the last 2 warbands for Brushfire. Additionally with the costs for all of those covered by the Kickstarter we were able to bring in Bob Naismith to do the Valkyr Mk.1 and Gecko Rider for Scyzantium.
Historia Rodentia
As a joint effort with Mongoose Publishing we’ve been able to release the Brushfire roleplaying sourcebook “Historia Rodentia” for the Legend roleplaying system this summer. At Gencon this year, we also showed off the first few sculpts for our Historia Rodentia line of miniatures due for release in a few weeks.
Endless: Fantasy Tactics
We hinted at EFT last year, and announced it early in this year. After a few delays with pre-production we ran our successful Kickstarter campaign. Far exceeding our expectations, we were able to get the funding for the 20 unique sculpts. With a goal of $15,000, thanks to a great group of backers we were able to do over $20k and pass a number of stretch goals. The Rulebook is currently in the beta phase and available to backers to participate in the testing process. Nearly half the sculpts are finished and waiting for the Christmas mailing rush to be over before being sent to the casting facility. The game will be released next year in Q2/Q3, with some special events at select conventions.
Something New!
We’ve got something cool in the works, but can’t say what it is yet! (It’s a licensed property!)
Going Forward
In 2012 we only had about 15 releases, mostly new sculpts but also a few conversions to resin. So far for 2013 we have nearly new 40 sculpts in progress to be released in Q1-Q2.
For Brushfire, we intend to get the last troops out for the eight current factions and as many character models as possible. Daniel Fokine will continue to handle the majority of releases, but Bob Naismith, Mike Evans, Curtis Fell, and Leonardo Madeo will also be doing a few releases. We would like to start having a few models from the Federated States, Volk-Urssia, and Exomorphs show up as Mercs or Historia Rodentia minis before getting proper full factions.
For Historia Rodentia, we have plans for individual nation books. These would focus on a single nation, adding more species templates, organizations, and other details about the nation. Axony and Ribenguo are on the top of our list for this.
For Endless, beyond the 20 models released via the Kickstarter we hope to release the remaining classes, at least 5 Monsters, and 5 Heroes before the end of 2013. We have been considering a mini/quick Kickstarter campaign to fund the printing & enhancement (more art!) of the Rulebook, but have not decided if that is the route we wish to go, as we do not like having multiple Kickstarters for one game. If we do decide to do this, it will not be until all of the minis from the first one have shipped. We are also working on a new RPG system using the same setting, but “Endless: Fantasy Roleplay” is likely a year or two away.
In Closing
We would like to also thank everyone who has backed our games, whether via the Kickstarter, or simply picking them up at conventions, stores, or on our website. On The Lamb Games was started to make games we wanted to play, and we’re thrilled to see so many other gamers feel the same way we do.

I'm not sure exactly how Adepticon is going to handle handing them out. I know in previous years you could purchase the exclusive models in addition to getting them in the swag bag, but I can't say for sure thats what is going on this year.

Shipping Increases
USPS has increased their rates for shipping, in some cases quite greatly. It now costs us $75 to send a Large Flat Rate box to the UK/EU, last week it was $50 for this same service.
While we had already been discussing switching a few more items over to the slightly smaller boxes that the Valkyr are packaged in, we will upping our effort to get as many items into these smaller boxes over the next few months. This will allow us to fit more items into smaller shipping boxes, and save our international fans some money. We'll also work towards making more models in resin and plastic to decrease their weight.
