Anybody have any clue when those Thallax parts come out? I might actually break down and make my first FW order when they do.

Come on Imperial Army, offer up your juicy morsels to me.

Eventually.

Likely after every single legion has been filled out.

Still, looking forwards to some old-school Guard stand-ins.

This rumor says that Fulgrim will be the next Primarch released. However, it's dated September 23, 2012.

Text for the work blocked:
Spoiler:

GAMES DAY FORGE WORLD INFO

Hello!
I was lucky enough to get to Games Day UK today and attend the Forge World seminar AND get the Horus Heresy Book One ‘Betrayal’ AND get an Angron model!

Now that I’ve got that out there, here’s what I found out….

Warhammer 40K:
The next Imperial Armour book will be out before Christmas and is a 6th Edition Imperial Guard update volume. It will feature ALL the Imperial Guard vehicles that Forge World currently sell.

Imperial Armour 12 is called ‘The Fall of Orpheus’ and features Necrons, Death Corps of Krieg and Minatour Space Marines.

New necron units include: A Necron Pylon, Necron Tesseract Arc and Necron Night Shroud Bomber and there is a Imperial Lightning Fighter MK2.

There will also be a Dark Eldar Imperial Armour book at some point in the future.

Horus Heresy:
Welcome to the blog if this is where you skipped down to! I don’t blame you.

Here’s the juice:

For ‘Betrayal’ we will see Legion Heavy Weapon squads, Death Guard and World Eater Contemptor pattern dreadnoughts as well as special weapon, and close combat weapon upgrade packs!

There are Legion Champion models and Justaerin Terminators. As you may have seen, Simon Egan is sculpting Abaddon and Loken! (I know!)

There are no plans yet for Torgaddon and Little Horus although it was talked about.

We will also see ‘Thallax’ marines – these are somewhere between a Terminator and a Dreadnought. That’s all we were told about them.

Horus Heresy Book 2: Massacre

Book 2 is Isstvan 5 Part One!

It will feature Mechanicum models, Word Bearers, Night Lords, Salamanders and Iron Hands! Very exciting stuff!

In the Q+A session we were told that there is a new titan variant coming (possible a Warlord!) and that there will be a Stormbird variant coming as well! We will also see Daemon primarchs at some point later down the line and that there would probably be a book covering the Mechanicum battle of Mars!
And finally…
The next Primarch model will be Fulgrim

Plans change all the time.

I have 6000pts of Emperors Children and can not wait for Fulgrim. I was at the first seminar that day and Alan Bligh said to me Fulgrim would be next.

Simon Eagan also confirmed to me he would be doing Fulgrim next.

The facts I know for certain are that Angron was finished a long while before Games Day and Simon is finishing Horus right now.

Mortarion was planeed to be the fourth one, but I do not know for certain that Fulgrim has been finished.

I would also expect one to be released soon too. Abaddon/Loken should see a release soon so I would have expected a reasonable gap between them and Horus meaning I would expect a primarch before Horus. Originally this would have been Fulgrim, but seen as I have not heard anything about Fulgrim I am concerned they may have changed the order.

All will be out before the next book which I would guess will be released at Games Day.

Emperors Children transfer sheet delayed due to the colours they have used. It looked rubbish with their current supplier. They are sourcing a new printer and as soon as they have that it will be released.

I also need my Rylanor and Palentine blades (though all the other bits are welcome )

The said limited time offer, while supplies last.

Obviously, the HH or other 40k players don't think they are as great a deal as FW thought they were or they'd have sold out by now.

If they MKIII came with Phobos Pattern Bolters, I'd probably have bought them already. Sadly, since I hate the Umbra Pattern, I'd have to also buy this set and the Phobos bolters, which would kill the "discount".

I know its hassle, but if you go to Nottingham occasionally you could take the bolters to the Gw store there and swap them for the Phobos.

Don't cry for me, though! I'm building my HH army, one unit at a time!

Hi Kronk I asked the same question and they said they were not going to release any SoH doors. Apparently they made some but didn't think they came out great - they told me to just use the etched brass set as it fits the door and look the same as they came up with.

Just to follow up, I got the following reply today that said this is the case. Oh, well. I guess I'll try their brass etch.

Hi,

Thanks for your e-mail. Having designed Brass Etch and a Transfer Sheet for the Sons of Horus, we felt that vehicles doors wouldn't add anything different to the symbols and iconography available, as all our vehicle kits are supplied with blank doors that the decals and brass can easily fit onto.

If there is anything further we can do to assist you, or if you have any queries about the information we have requested or provided, please telephone us.

Regards,
Forge World

Some small rumours on FW releases, posted here for lazyness:

Birdy via Darnok over at Warseer wrote:1. The latest IA book should have been finished last week but has over run a bit, will be completed and going to the printers very soon.

2. Work on the next heresy book will increase after latest IA book has been finished off

3. Black Fire Pass book has been delayed. May not be completed until after the second heresy book could be pushed even further down the line.

IA book should be the Necron one.

Sorry, we were slightly misleading there - the Voss Pattern Lightning is the redesign, we have no plans to return the old one to production.

So it appears the Ork Fighta model is gone, but there is hope that the others (especially the classic lightning) will be redesigned and make a comeback.

Welp, I guess that puts to rest the claim that Forgeworld would have three distinct teams and the HH series wouldn't impact the other releases.

Hi there,

In this week’s newsletter we’ve got another fantastic selection of Horus Heresy releases for you: four eagerly-anticipated new Heavy Weapon sets and three new Space Marine armour sets to allow the Legiones Astartes to add Heavy Support squads to their ceramite-clad ranks. We’re also adding to our range of Horus Heresy bundles with no less than nine great new sets.

Space Marine Legion Heavy Support Squads and Heavy Weapon Sets

The Legiones Astartes are provided with devastating, mobile firepower by their heavy support squads; units of Space Marines bearing the heaviest weapons available and tasked with smashing armoured vehicles apart and shattering hordes of enemy troops in withering hails of fire.

Will Hayes has designed three Legion Heavy Support squads, clad in MkII, MkIII and MkIV armour. Each kit contains enough parts to build five multi-part resin Space Marines, comprising five different sets of legs, and shoulder pads, arms, torsos and helmets.

Will has also designed four new Heavy Weapon sets for use with these squads. The Legion Missile Launcher Set, Lascannon Set, Multi-melta Set and Plasma Cannon Set each contain five detailed resin shoulder-mounted weapons for use with the MkII, MkIII and MkIV Heavy Support squads.

World Eaters Legion Brass Etch Symbols

The World Eaters Legion, and their Primarch Angron, were the most savage and dreaded of the Legiones Astartes, and their assignment to a Crusade fleet or warzone meant only one thing for the enemies of mankind: extermination.

Designed by Paul Rudge, this sheet of World Eaters Legion Etched Brass Symbols is packed with over forty detailed brass Legion symbols, perfect for use with our full range of Space Marine Legion Infantry and Vehicles to further personalise your XIIth Legion force.

All these new Space Marine kits are available to order now for immediate despatch.

New Horus Heresy Bundles

The Horus Heresy bundles that we released in November 2012 are still proving to be incredibly popular, so we’ve decided to leave them available for the foreseeable future and have also added several more:

The Legion MkII Assault Squad Set containing twenty Space Marines and a MkIV Power Weapon Set.

The Legion MkIV Assault Squad Set containing twenty Space Marines and a MkIV Power Weapon Set.

The Legion Deimos Pattern Rhino Set containing three of these iconic transports, ideal for creating a mechanised assault element within your Legion force.

The Legion MkII Heavy Support Squad Set 1 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Heavy Bolters, Missile Launchers and Lascannons.

The Legion MkII Heavy Support Squad Set 2 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Heavy Bolters, Missile Launchers and Lascannons.

The Legion MkIII Heavy Support Squad Set 1 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Heavy Bolters, Missile Launchers and Lascannons.

The Legion MkIII Heavy Support Squad Set 2 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Autocannons, Plasma Cannons and Multi-meltas.

The Legion MkIV Heavy Support Squad Set 1 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Autocannons, Plasma Cannons and Multi-meltas.

The Legion MkIV Heavy Support Squad Set 2 containing twenty Space Marines equipped with Autocannons, Plasma Cannons and Multi-meltas.

All nine of these new bundles are available to order now for immediate despatch, alongside the existing Legion MkII, MkIII and MkIV Tactical Squads, the Contemptor Dreadnought Talon and the Cataphractii Terminators with Power Fists and Power Axes.

Betrayal and Imperial Armour Volume One – Second Edition FAQ and Erratas
Two new FAQ and Errata documents are now available to download from the Forge World website, one covering The Horus Heresy Book One: Betrayal and the second covering Imperial Armour Volume One – Second Edition: Imperial Guard.

Auto Cannon Set (I have 2 of these already. Why are these in the NEW section?)

Missile Launcher Set

Lascannon Set

Plasma Cannon Set

Rhino Set (Did you really need to see 3 rhinos? Really? Fine, here you go...)

I'm not posting the heavy support bundles. Imagine in your head 20 MKII, III, and IV guys with a variety of weapons. Done...

Breotan. I already posted all of this here.
Yes but this is the "Ongoing FW HH News and Rumors Thread". But thank you for posting it all again after my post and your other thread for extra extra redundancy. I think. I get confused about this stuff. And time travel. Time travel usually gives me a headache though.

Note that I worked out that the 3 rhino package saves you money!
How unlike GW!! Spearately they cost £33 but the 3-pack costs £90 - a 10% saving.
Very tempted to spend my counsil tax money on this!
(as i pay by DD, they split the bill into 10 payments meaning Feb & March are tax-free - yey!)

I'd just like to claim that I am somehow psychic in light of posting about these just before the news letter (I was a little surprised when this turned up in my email). Oh how I wish heavy bolters were more worthwhile because those are so pretty.

Unless I am very mistaken, you get the plastic Rhino with the resin bits. This means that after subtracting the cost of the Rhinos themselves, the FW upgrades cost about $10.00 US each. Pretty good deal, if you ask me. Now they need to do this with the Razorback and Predator kits.

Can someone please reboot this thread so that the OP actually updates on a someowhat consistent basis?
