Anyone out there who's ordered from the CMON store since black Friday gotten a shipping update or their order? I placed an order on December 2 and haven't heard anything since, and the account login is absolutely not doing so for me. I imagine with those prices that they were horribly swamped with orders, but I'm starting to wonder if they've fallen back into their New Wave Games habits.

I placed two orders in late November and early December. I received the second order already but haven't received so much as a whisper about the first order. The first order was all discounted WoK, if that makes a difference.

Logging in to the store is a pain but this worked for me go to the forum http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/ use the forgotten password link top right and use your store email address (trying to do so from the store page caused it to crash for me) this gives you an email with your user name (not your email but your actual name or some permutation of it) and a link to get a new password, use this to get a 2nd email use the user name and new password to log into the forum http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/ and then navigate to the store (this works in chrome but not IE)

3 orders and they all ended up with WoK stuff in them.
So naturally nothing.
If it's true about orders placed on the 27th going out, maybe I'll see something soon?
I dipped into my unopened and unbuilt reserves instead to put under the tree since nothing I've ordered has shown up.

I made an order on Dec. 6th with some Christmas gifts for my sons, but I haven't heard anything about it. Their customer service phone number in the order email is also defunct. I did receive the order I made on Black Friday relatively quickly, so I was hoping that given a 19 day lead I could get them to deliver something before Christmas, but I guess not.

I placed an order on 12/01. Got it 12/09. It was mostly WoK stuff. It was missing a Darksword mini and a Wok thing that was out of stock. So due a $37 refund. I emailed them... CSR Kisada said they were behind on refunds and to allow 5-8 business days. That was the 11th. Still don't have refund yet. I emailed again but have not heard back...
My friend also placed a WoK order on the first and has not received any thing yet though...
I just placed another order today to get some more WoK stuff since the sale is ending soon.

Unfortunately I have never had any "quick" experiences with an order from CMON, even outside of a great sale like this one. Earlier this year I ordered a book and pack of cards for one game, and instead they sent me ones for a completely different game. The story of getting the correct items in my hands is nearly unbelievable....so many mistakes were made by them.

IDK my plan is to give them another 30 days....then I'll just put in a complaint to paypal for non-shipment. Is ridiculous to wait over 30 days and not even get an update.

CSR Charlie (CMON)
Dec 28, 15:48 EST
Hello Douglas,
Thank you for contacting us and we understand your concern. According to our records your order is processing for shipment.
We've experienced unusually high response due to the nature of the sale, but are working to get the orders out as fast as we can. The response was orders of magnitude greater than we anticipated due to the depth of discounts, the breadth of products on offer, and the enthusiasm of gamers across the globe.
We regret any inconveniences or hard feelings created by what was a good intention on our part and we hope you can forgive the delays as we work through this.
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email that provides tracking information.
Thank you for your patience throughout this process.
Best regards,
Charlie

I got an email a while back saying they were attempting to get everything out by the 31st.
They're certainly running out of time. It's been over a month since I placed my first order, and have received everything else I've ordered since then, including my Wyrd Black Friday stuff, which got delayed due to casting issues, yet still managed to get here first. It's not like Wyrd didn't get bombarded with orders either...
Frustrating to say the least.
58873
Post by: BobtheInquisitor
To be fair, CMON probably sold as much Wyrd merchandise as Wyrd did, along with thousands of other items. That 75+% sale of theirs will be long remembered.

CMON is notoriously, horribly slow during the best of times - and with this big holiday sale/clearance blowout, they're even slower.
On top of that, they noted that they're shut down until Jan. 8, so anything that hasn't shipped yet (as of I think the 24th) isn't shipping until then now...
51394
Post by: judgedoug
From BGG:
"I messaged CMON via Facebook about their shipping schedule during the holidays and Just received this response:
"Hi Mark, The Customer Support team won't be doing any shipping during that period, but they will be back at it on January 8th. Thanks! ^Sean""
So they took a 2 week vacation from shipping out orders despite being a month behind on fulfillment.
On a personal note, this is fething unacceptable for any company of any size to operate in such a slipshod manner.
Seems like 2017 was the year I shed awful companies - The War Store and CMON will both never get my money ever again.
8617
Post by: Hulksmash
Just wow....I mean I'm personally in no hurry considering what I saved but that's insane to me. I thought they were planning on shipping once they shut down as they wouldn't have any additional orders to put out so they could catch up.
Oh well, joins the list of if the price is right and I don't need it for a month or two I'll purchase locations.
123
Post by: Alpharius
I'm fairly certain that they neglected to mention this 'shut down' during the sale, and it doesn't appear that any effort was made to ship anything out before this 'shut down' either.
I'm with both Hulk (would have bought anyway due to the WoK savings and not being in a rush) and Doug (pretty unacceptable with them being so behind to begin with - maybe 'only' take a week off?)) here though - they really need to figure this stuff out already.
They're lucky they've got almost the only place to buy Dark Age and WoK stuff online...
For obvious reasons!
60720
Post by: OrlandotheTechnicoloured
With them always being so behind I wouldn't be surprised if they'd reached a point of promising people could take holidays at Christmas that they couldn't go back
(as I suspect they've probably been denying and delaying holidays most of the rest of the year in a vain attempt to get back on track after the warehouse move earlier last year ? I think it was the beginning of last year)

Getting tempted to dispute it with Paypal as well. I worry there are stock issues as it is, with the volume some of us were ordering.
As much as I'd like my cheap stuff, I like to actually not just throw money away on hopes and dreams of new shiny stuff- I've always got Kickstarter for that!
I almost wonder which will come first- my sale stuff arriving or the next CMON campaign starting!

The stock has been taken and the digital doors to the CMON webstore have been reopened! We are back up and running and ready for business. Thanks for your patience during this time! https://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/
and lots of customers immediately asked where their November (and December) orders were
CMON The customer support team is hard at work making sure those orders are fulfilled as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.
so I think stuff will slowly start trickling out again
(and stuff doesn't seem to be dealt with in date order as some reported arrivals from early December orders so I have a horrible fear that all those excess sale orders might just be in a pile to only be worked on when the 'normal' days work is done, speculation on my part, but that's my fear)
still even if it takes another 3 months it will still be faster (and a lot cheaper) than trying to source WoK stuff here in the UK

Greetings from the CMON Team,
We want to apologize to anyone affected by our shipping delays in relation to orders placed during CMON’s 2017 Holiday Sale and for any issues the delays caused during the holiday season. The response to the sale was huge compared to previous years, and, truthfully, we were not prepared. The number of orders far exceeded our expectations and our ability to keep pace.
Our team in the warehouse has been working tirelessly to pack and ship your orders, and we can say that all orders placed during the Holiday Sale will be shipped by January 26, 2018. If you are waiting on a response from our Customer Service team in regard to the status of your shipment, please know they are working as fast as they can to catch up with the heavy influx of tickets generated from the shipping delay. When your order ships, you will receive tracking information to the email we have on file.
Again, we apologize for any undue stress our delays have caused. We are using this as a learning experience as we strive to always increase or service to our customers who helped make CMON what it is today and will be in the future.
from todays CMON newsletter (which probably means the January date is realistic as those who aren't actually involved have now been made aware of the issue so missing the date risks them looking bad to a lot more folks than just those waiting)
from what I'm seeing on the reaper forums thread on this deliveries are happening now, but people are finding they're being refunded for stuff that CMON don't have (especially where duplicates were ordered),
others have started getting refunds via paypal claims
most annoyingly when your order went in seems to have no effect on when things are being fulfilled (a fairly major issue when stock is short/unavailable)

My order was a pretty massive amount of Teknes, Shael-Han and the bare minimum to have one of everything for Nasier. Hadross is the one faction I had zero interest in and I didn't really love any of the new units for the Goritsi that they had on sale so those stayed on the shelf too.

A guy in one of the painting groups I'm in that use to work for CMoN said that their warehouse crew is "very tiny" so probably this is the big reason it's taking so long as that's got to be less then 5 people. He also stated that when he visited earlier in the month they had been working 6 days a week non-stop outside of Christmas. CMoN really should have gotten more people working the warehouse as soon as it became apparent how popular the sale is --though they should have realized how popular selling things for like 80%-90% would have been since no one else really does that anymore on Black Friday.

Email here too (so late but only by a few hours, i'm pleasantly surprised) now for the tedious waiting for the big box to sail across the briney sea Edit: Just noticed they've sent it priority mail (which is more than I paid for), moderately impressed with that, maybe as they missed the deadline they'd set on the 26th

be aware hadross folks.
got my box of stuff. out of 2 boxes of shell crackers, one head was a malformed blob,
shame they don't give alternate heads, as now I am trying to figure out how i want to go about remaking the head

Snap a photo of it and email their support people. They will send a replacement (probably of the entire model).

I'm still not a fan of the material, but it certainly is easier to work than Privateer's restic.
And for the price I can't complain that much.

Has anyone actually received any of their refunds? If so, how was it handled? I paid by PayPal but haven't seen either of the refunds they owe me.

Are you referring to refunds of the entire order or refunds of missing product?
I received a refund for my full order. I filed a dispute with Paypal, CMON sat on it for a week and then issued a refund. Not sure how they are handling refunds of out-of-stock items.

I meant for missing product. Sorry for the lack of clarity. They cancelled two items from my orders, but I haven't seen an actual refund.

Hmm customs demand for my first order is very low,
I fear there is a whole bunch of stuff missing, but at least it's in the UK, now I just need to wait for Saturday to get it

I had some items that were out of stock in my Infinity order (cyber Monday). Got the package about a week before Christmas and the refund 2 or so weeks later.

My 2nd order arrived well packed and safe (and the first now shows up as in transit)
a couple of WoK sets I couldn't add to the cart when I did the first order, a studio mcvey LE elephant man and several steampunk minis. I was expecting all 4 guild of harmony minis to be the later metals but am pleasantly surprised 3 are the original LE resin complete with certificates
it was worth the wait, but by just admitting they had problems and everything was going to take ages (just send everybody an email people) would have made it a less stressful experience

Bit of a headscratcher really. Mine was also low (£18 including parcelforce handling charge) so I was pleasantly surprised when the (huge) box arrived yesterday that nothing was missing, given everything that I have seen about missing stuff so far. I ordered everything that was still in stock from the Wrath of Kings range- most of it, basically- and a few limited edtions for some other things. I notice on the parcel tracking that the customs charges were issued and then revised, don't know what happened there.
