Would you be open to printing files for clients? For example, I pledged for Raygun Raptors and Asian Adventures, but I don’t have a great printer. Would you offer a service where I could send you a file for you to print in resin?

Sure. We would consider that renting printer time and paying for materials. Send us an email at twoidiotsprinting@gmail.com

I’ll send some inquiries shortly after the election. Or perhaps not quite so shortly. Depends how it goes.

I placed an order for 5 Spanish knights and the Spanish knights hero.
The customer service was very good, I had done questions which were responded to very quickly. Namely the material being used, I am not a fan of translucent material so asked if I could get in opaque. The response was, yes. Just send them a note when ordering. The resin might be grey ot could be colored,
So, I placed my order. I believe it was 2 days after I placed my order that I received a shipping notice.., and 2 days for scheduled delivery with tracking. Very fast. Shipping, very good.
I received my order today. I received an extra Knight, and I thought I was supposed to recieve 1 weapon choice per knight, but actually received 5 swords, 5 hammers, 7 lances 5 trumpets and 5 pistols, bonus stuff is always appreciated, great stuff.
I assembled 1 mini. I have a little complaint here, the resin bits that are used for printing are still attached to the model. This was already stated in the description so we’re not a surprise. I have never worked with a 3D print like this, so thought that they would be easy to clean up.., I think it will go better with more practice but.., well my first one did not go well. The second one went better. But overall not holding this against them.
My other complaint isn’t against two idiots, but the models themselves. The prints are a bit small compared to warhammer sized minis, I asked and they stated they could print slightly larger but there may be some detail loss and the price may be a little higher. Which is fair.
Overall I am satisfied with the purchase and am likely to buy again.
Here are some pics. That s Fireforge northmen and a Perry knight for comparison.

Thank you for the review Smokestack. If you need advice on working with resin prints send us an email or throw me a PM here on dakka. Happy to give some pointers as needed.
By request, i have put together some scale shots with the peculiar companions spanish beside fireforge and oathmark plastics, and in the case of cavalry a perry sculpt as well.
Hey everybody. We've picked up a license with Tim's war games works who makes game trackers suitable for a certain dark and grim far future game. We currently have the space Pharaohs set up on the web store. Please feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any questions.
This bundle deal allows you to buy the core troops you need to fulfill the Dwarf Holds list for Essence of war. Currently, the hold guardians are represented by Peculiar companions Heavy infantry dwarves at 250%%. When we license a more appropriate model set these will be replaced.
the Essence of war list is
1 thane (shield - not pictured with shield but will be provided)
10 marksmen with crossbows
10 Greybeards with shields
2 hold guardians
What this deal includes:
1 Dwarf commander on foot (comes with all weapon options and a shield)
10 peculiar companions dwarf crossbowmen (marksmen with crossbows)
10 Peculiar companions medium infantry dwarves with light infantry dwarves shields and maces. (greybeards)
2 peculiar companions heavy dwarf infantry printed at 250% file size. (hold guardians)
To assist in the development of this version of the 9th age, we are also running a promotion.
If you buy our deal and actively contribute to the project by writing a battle report and posting it in the following thread (and emailing us - or messaging me on the forum - with proof of such), we are offering a 10% off code that can be used on anything in our webstore.
TIPS is happy to announce that we have licensed with Caballero Miniatures to produce and sell prints of their small but growing catalog of fantasy miniatures.
Initial offerings see the towering knightly giant, a knightly objective marker, a mounted witch-finder, and a command vignette for the empire of the sun.
I put in an order recently. The detail is crisp, although the translucent material makes it hard to see sometimes. I am really happy with how everything came out, and will probably order more of the Benin orcs and Turko-Mongolian elves. TIPS were really easy to work with even when some of my notes were pretty bad (“action pose full bling with sword” and such), so next time I might try something interesting, like 25% larger warboss or something. Looking forward to my next order.
Here are some pictures and some scale shots with WGA and Oathmark minis. And you can see how easy their bits are to use with HIPS minis.

Well, I beat you for the dark elf infantry at least.
If anyone wanted pictures of the dark elf heavy infantry primed black:
Automatically Appended Next Post: Peculiar companions has released the STLs on Patreon, so the Imperial Arquebusiers are up on our webstore for anyone who wants prints.

What is the head covering on the right side Crow Bearer? It makes me think of a babushka, which somehow makes the elf more interesting to me.
From what I understand it's just a hood with ears slits cut out. And then of course there's the cloak that's clasped just under it.
My thought is that he was trying to mix Roman with some slight religious garb. One of the new units that he's working on currently is essentially Roman chamber militant like the guys from game of thrones. I believe they're going to count as which elves/ whatever name the hotels are called in ninth age.
I'm a patron of theirs personally. unfortunately, due to what I surmise is most of their kits being recognizably influenced, they don't offer a merchant tier.
The Desert adventures terrain core set is now available from TIPS as printed items. Need more terrain? Don't have a printer? Buy the printed option here! There is more to be added to the store over the coming weeks as well
Two Idiots Printing Service has added the majority of the Desert Adventures miniatures from the core set to our webstore. The remainder will be completed over the rest of the week.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask
Another quick release today, the dread elf Temple militant have been released, in case you need a raving pack of elves with knives and little faith in armor.
Packs of beast/god skulls have been added, along with the Egyptian chariot from desert adventures. Bright green dark elf heavy infantry 28mm for scale purposes.
New Space Elf Raider tracker from TimWminiGameWorks is up on the webstore. get your licensed prints of this amazing and stylish tracker at the link below (printed in resin and sold under license by TIPS)
I hope I’m not suppressing discussion by replying flippantly, but the chariot and the flying carpet are the winners for me. The HRE guys would be tempting if I didn’t have boxes of Empire State Troops stashed away.

I doubt you are. With 4 thousand views and just us replying to one another, I think some people are just enjoying our discussion.
The chariot is great, and the flying carpet is quite dynamic.
The Zweilhanders are amazing, and loads better than GW greastwords IMHO
For those who play The 9th Age: We were requested if we could come up with a miniature solution to represent Imperial guard with swords and shields.
After clearing it with the artists involved, we are now offering this kitbashed set between Peculiar companions and Caballero miniatures. 28mm spanish heavy infantry converted with swords and shields.
Armies of the sands has dropped, and we have been busy adding all of the new, awesome minis to our webstore. Everything but the sculpted square bases and unit fillers are now live on the webstore. please check it out at the link below and let me know what you think!
We appreciate feedback as it allows us to better ourselves and how we handle product launches.
My first suggestion would be to change which pictures show up on the listing or menu pages for the Shabti and cataphracts. The images imply one can buy a set of 3 cataphracts or 5 shabti for $20, when they are $20 per miniature.

Fair point, and working on changing that now. Thank you.
BobtheInquisitor wrote: I suppose it might be easier to add the word “each” after the price?
I can try that, but due to the variation of items we sell it may cause the catalog pages to look off-putting.
Honestly I truly believed "starting at" would be assumed. That is based on my own personal habits when it comes to online stores (I always go to the actual product page and look at options/drop downs) though so I shouldn't assign that to everyone else.

I’ve shopped on your site before and never had that issue with previous items, even when they were pictured in groups, like the goblins or cavalry. For some reason, though, the larger items aren’t as obvious. $2.50 for one skeleton instead of a regiment is intuitive. $5 for one cavalry guy makes instant sense. But the $20 price tags combined with the images may have triggered my “boxed set recognition” lobe. That price doesn’t instinctively equate to one ushabti for me. I suppose the price makes sense scaling by volume, but it threw me off.

I appreciate it immensely. Everything helps, and I probably should have thought of that.
I've edited the photos, so hopefully it makes a bit more sense now.
The imperial holy roman empire infantry command is not up on the webstore. Furthermore, due to some work by the sculptor, our conversion kit to give the spanish heavy infantry swords and shields now has proper arming swords.
We have added mummy infantry from the desert adventures files to the webstore, as well as a separate shield pack for the armies of the sands skeleton shields.
and yes, they work together
standard mummies
example of mummies with armies of the sands shields
There are some anthropomorphic/ God heads for the mummies that will be added as a separate pack, as well as a stereotypical RPG mummy and a sarchophagus. They will all be added in the next day or two.

For the desert adventurers, how big are the skull heads compared to the Egyptian heads or the less-heroic Turco-Mongolian elves’ heads? Also, do you have any examples of what they look like on Mummy bodies?
For that matter, what if I asked for a bunch of khopesh swords with the living Egyptians?

Here you go. Last photo is more of a question. these specific khopesh?
BobtheInquisitor wrote: Those are great. The undead infantry set shows a khopesh that isn’t held in a hand; would those be available for conversions?
So I've looked through the file set, and I can't find it. I'll message lovecraft designs, and see if that's actually available or if it was just put in that render photo as an example.
BobtheInquisitor wrote: Those are great. The undead infantry set shows a khopesh that isn’t held in a hand; would those be available for conversions?
I have checked in with the designer: The image of the khopesh without a hand was a WIP one to show the intended shape of the weapon, and is not available as a separate file.
No super rush, I saw that Excellent Miniatures were offering the Txarli and Lovecraft designs soon at 10mm - but of course, they're an ocean away, and would love to just order from ya'll. So if you already have plans to do the same, I can just wait

Like I said, we would be able to, but we'd just handle that kind of thing as a manual, custom order as a matter of course. so whenever you're ready feel free to throw us a message and we can help.
The Txarli stuff is designed at 28mm, so excellent probably has just done some legwork merging and then resizing things
Automatically Appended Next Post: Obsidian guard from Caballero miniatures are now available on the webstore. They come with your choice of helmet option. And yes, they are covered under our site-wide sale right now!
After securing a trade contract with tabletop warrior, we are now going to be offering MDF bases in a variety of sizes and shapes (Squares, rectangles, rounds and ovals, currently)
We are adding inventory to the webstore today, but I wanted to make the community aware. All options will be available at the following collection link.
Merry Christmas to all (or other denominational holiday!)
We here at TIPS just want to say thank you for a lovely reception this year. We opened our service with the aim of bringing high quality printed items to you, and judging by the feedback we have received I think we succeeded.
We look forward to more and better minis in the new year.
That said, there is still time to take advantage of our end of year sale! Eyeing an holy roman empire detachment? maybe an army of skeleton warriors? How about a legion of elves?
You have until 11:59 pm on December 31rst to take advantage of our 10% off end of year closeout (applied automatically at checkout)
BobtheInquisitor wrote: Weird question, but what percentage size would the Egyptian human heads need to be to be the size of the Turco-Mongolian elves heads? About 70%?
I would assume (based upon prior fiddling) Somewhere between 75% and 80%
Most welcome Bob. If you'd like a custom quote for those heads at a specified size let me know.
And just a reminder to everyone since we've popped over to page 4: The end of year sale runs until 11:59pm 12/31/2020. If you feel like trying our printing service, or getting a cool model or two, now is the time.
Well, I was wondering if I could get an Egyptian head pack, like the skull head pack but for living Egyptians with various headgear at 75% size. Also, would a skull pack with 10 at 100%, 5 at 80% and 5 at 60% be a thing I could order?

Egyptian head pack, no problem
Skeleton head pack would have to be 10, 10 and 10 mate. I apologize its just easier on the back-end.
This time its more from BigmrTong's line. Specifically some gents wearing antique diving suits. There is a set with harpoon launchers and one with rifles.
Just a note that our webstore-wide end of year sale, which automatically applies 10% off to your order, is nearly to the end.
Time runs out at 11:59pm EST tonight. So get your orders in now, and start the new year with some lovely printed items!
Hello everyone and welcome to the new year! Thank you so much for your orders during our end of year sale!
We have some exciting new projects coming up and are looking forward to a good 2021. Please note that processing times are currently slowed as we work through the massive demand from our end of year sale.
Today I have some new miniatures that we've added to the store. Caballero miniatures has released command groups (standard, musician, champion) for the remainder of their infantry units (Previously only the baseline legion infantry had a command group.) We've released these as group packs, so you can get all 3 command models at once. The below images only represent two of the new command groups.
We've also put up the new Warlock Outcast and Warlock acolyte cavalry onto the store.
You can find them all in the Caballero miniatures section of our webstore, here:
Another round of BigMrTong models added to the webstore. This time his techno cyborgs. They come in regular trooper-with-rifle and heavy weapons variants
Max/Lord Marcus here from TIPS (Two Idiots Printing Service) bringing you yet another amazing release.
This time, we have a kit bashed unit of stag knights, worthy of use as monstrous cavalry in your nature themed armies. These models combine parts from Peculiar companions and Caballero miniatures to create an epic cavalry unit ready to smash down into the ranks of the foe.
Three variants have been created and are up on our webstore now for purchase. A command group consisting of banner bearer, champion with sword, and trumpeter. Furthermore there are stag knights with lances, and finally a variant armed with halberds. These models do not come with bases but fear not, for we have MDF and some resin bases available separately in our store.
Please take a look at the images and links below and let us know what you think. Regardless though, we appreciate your time and attention
After it was brought to our attention, the movement trays have been moved into the correct shipping category.
They are a small item. They were (originally) incorrectly placed in our shipping profile for miniatures which starts at $8 domestically to account for extra shipping materials.
The movement trays are now correctly placed in small item shipping, which starts at $5.50 domestically and $15 internationally.
If anyone tries to check out and thinks the shipping seems wrong, on any of our items, please message me here on dakka or send us an email to twoidiotsprinting@gmail.com

it is not. it is a magical flame. Here is a picture from the designer
If you have a soft spot in your heart for 1980's sword and sorcery films, you might like this next release. Dark Slayers from BigmrTong are now available printed from the TIPS store.
I'm curious about the Dark Slayers. It's a stroke of genius to do them, but I'd like to request some scale comparisons with 40K and / or Warpath minis if possible. (Slayers work as well in sci-fi as fantasy.)
I'm keen to get some, but don't have a use for Slayers that, say, a Necron trooper would tower over. This isn't a "heroic" vs. "true" scale issue, just relative size.

40k I can do. I don't have anything warpath easily accessible at the moment.
Automatically Appended Next Post: New models up:
This time its BigMrTong's enviro troopers. This is a standard squad, and BMT has stated via youtube that there will be variant options available soon.
BobtheInquisitor wrote: Excellent. I had requested a centurion from Thingiverse in an email, and now I don’t have to worry.
Your orders were shipped and are marked as delivered. Did I miss a quote request? If so, I apologize
My order was delivered, yes. I was talking about back in November when I was sending emails back and forth with...I think Ross? I was asking about various Thingiverse files and if they could be printed in resin and for how much. Mostly, the things I was asking about were 3D files that couldn’t be printed as found on Thingiverse. But some of my questions were never answered. I admit Inmay have gotten carried away asking too many such questions.
And finally, a mounted hidalgo (knight/nobleman) from Caballero miniatures. Spear is for reference, model comes with a hollow hand for taking metal spears.
Time for another release. This time, we've partnered with Medbury miniatures from Austrailia to make prints of their figures available to a wider audience.
Some nice looking miniatures. Heroic scale versions of a popular true scale line for gamers who prefer heroic scale is an interesting idea. I’ll have to pick up a couple of the command dudes in good time. I’ve already got names: Isodor, Theowilldo, Bingolfin, Hubbard.
Is it just me or do the Lords of Westernesse helmet crests look like shrimp?

I think he based that off of a burgonet. which sort of lines up with the stylistic crest.
I received my order of Slayers. I apologise that this will not be a proper review, but more of an off-the-cuff sort of thing. Pictures may come later, time permitting.
The good:
--------
Having been advised that the printed minis may be very hard to separate from their supports, I was delighted to find how easy that was. Perhaps I was informed by someone who had printed in a different material. It's a little more work than cleaning mold lines from the average miniature, but not by much.
The quality of the casting was very good. These aren't the most ultra-detailed minis to begin with, but the detail they have is very good.
The bad:
--------
The following is entirely my fault, and whether it's even "bad" at all is down to your tastes concerning scale.
These guys are just too tiny for my purposes, and frankly, I should have known better, because I asked for and received a comparison with a Space Marine photo before ordering and, thinking "SLAYERS!", ordered them anyway. (Next time, I'll ask for a shot of the mini with a ruler.) I don't blame "Two Idiots" for my stupid impulsiveness, but I would like to ask if smaller minis like the Slayers can be slightly upsized upon request. If so, I may have to order a single test mini to see how it comes out, then place another order for the larger Slayers. Ordinarily I wouldn't contemplate buying a thing twice, rescaling or not. But, you know, SLAYERS!
If resizing the Slayers is impractical, I will probably be more wary about pursuing Big Mr. Tong's works going forward, as the safe assumption would be that he considers the Slayers to be of a standard humanoid height (as they were in the film) and will size his other releases similarly. In that event, perhaps I could ask the printer to pass along a request to Mr. Tong - whose sculpts and tastes strike a chord with me - if he would consider releasing future models in two sizes, perhaps, one being slightly larger? I can't help but like the guy; he even sculpts banana knights of all things, and, well, look at my avatar. Evidently our senses of humor both turn towards things banana.
Awright, it's not really fair to post this without a comparison photo of a slayer so you can know what I'm yammering about. I apologize for the crappy photo; can't find the charger for my good camera today. I think it serves the purpose. Also, I did my best to get bases of varying heights as even as possible. Apologies for any shortcomings on that.
From Right to Left: Mantic Enforcer, Big MrTong Slayer, Sedition Wars (inviso) trooper, Maelstrom's Edge Kaddar Nova. The Enforcer and Nova are converted, but not in ways that would impact their normal height. Note that the Slayer still has some supports I haven't removed - it'll look better with those removed. Heck, it'll look better in a decent photo that lets you see the darn thing properly. My iphone camera is crap.
Sorry for the inviso Sedition Wars trooper, too. I'm going with what I can find quickly here, but wanted to include the trooper because if that's the scale you like, you're in luck: the Slayers are a perfect match for it.
Vermonter, they can resize items by request. I put in an order for some of the Benin goblins at various different percentages of height and length/width to give them more human proportions, and they did it. In fact, I need to get some photos up of those guys because I think they look pretty good as Benin humans-in-big-masks.
Just eyeballing it, but I would expect the Slayers printed at ~120% (all directions) to size up well with the Mantic and Medge figures.

Sorry for the inviso Sedition Wars trooper, too. I'm going with what I can find quickly here, but wanted to include the trooper because if that's the scale you like, you're in luck: the Slayers are a perfect match for it.
Yes, we can scale up the figures, as well as scale down. 10-20% in each direction won't be a problem. if you go bigger or smaller then that you risk potential detail loss. In the case of making models larger this is normally more elastic depending on the amount of detail a figure has. We've scaled up the peculiar companions turkic dark elves to 160% for someone who wanted them done at 54mm and by his account they came out well.

maybe combine some of the orcs with the earlier centurions release for a dr. who game then? I guess options abound
Automatically Appended Next Post: Per request of Medbury miniatures, everything but the lords of Westernesse line has been temporarily removed from the webstore.
Medbury is considering sculpting changes to the elves, orcs and horse lords.
The lords of westernesse have had the sigil removed from their banner and a slight change to shield design.

Everything but the Horse lords and some of the elves will be back on the website by the end of today.
In other exciting news, The Frost from Lovecraft designs has wrapped up its kickstarter campaign.
We pledged as a merchant to be able to sell prints of the files. We also popped for the merchant license for "FrostGuard" Addon.
Expect these to start appearing on the webstore late march to early april.
Miniature prices will be our same low rates as always. Terrain will see a small increase in price over the desert adventures pieces currently on the webstore. This is because we underestimated the amount of material and print time for some of the larger terrain pieces.
I'll have more news as it comes, but for now if you'd like to plan potential purchases pop on over to the kickstarter campaign and see all the amazing stuff that was unlocked!
I hope you'll also be looking to add more sci-fi file creators to your roster going forward. And there's always the "eldritch" Lovecraftian-type stuff that works in both settings, too.

We want to. We have not found any decent ones at a price that works within our budget.
Hello everyone. Lord Marcus from Two Idiots Printing service here.
Today, I would like to announce a new promotion featuring everyone's favorite model, the Txarli factory Colossus.
If you purchase 20 or more skeleton warriors (any variant) you will be able to get a colossus (any variant) for just $7.99. Thats a $17 savings.
Promotion is good through the end of march. Please note you have to add the skeletons to your cart first in order for the discount code to accurately apply.
The txarli factory Colossus. This particular variant has a halberd as its weapon choice. This is an example of the printed model that you would receive if you ordered from us.
It's a great time to get said model, because we are running a " make March colossal " promotion where you can get $17 off of this model with a qualifying purchase of 20 or more skeleton warriors.
Frostgrave Wizard for scale purposes only.
Try navigating to them from the collection and let me know if they work through that method please.
Using the collection links worked fine, thanks.

Lord Marcus here from TIPS (Two Idiots Printing Service) bringing you yet another amazing release.
As “The Frost” kickstarter by Lovecraft designs has begun to be fulfilled, we are pleased to offer both miniatures and terrain from this wildly successful campaign.
Please note that product codes are still being generated, and although we have added 35 products to the webstore at current, more are to come.
After an email from GW legal, we have removed several items from our web store. We have also notified them of our license with the file designer. We have also notified the file designer.

But he grew old—
This knight so bold—
And o’er his heart a shadow—
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like Eldorado.
Eldorado by Edgar Allan Poe
Excellent quoted piece. I agree though. He is a lovely miniature, and would make a great character or just as a painting project.
The old knight, from The Frost range, is also an excellent example of such a figure
The old knight is more Don Quixote, while (at least for me) the questing knight looks serious and committed. He also looks older than the typical knight mini, which is why I thought of the Eldorado poem. Still, Don Quixote has his place.
Cervantes on his galley sets the sword back in the sheath
(Don John of Austria rides homeward with a wreath.)
And he sees across a weary land a straggling road in Spain,
Up which a lean and foolish knight forever rides in vain,
And he smiles, but not as Sultans smile, and settles back the blade....
(But Don John of Austria rides home from the Crusade.)
{At the Battle of Lepanto, Miguel de Cervantes commanded a small boat intended for boarding actions and was badly wounded, permanently losing the use of his left arm. However, Don John of Austria approved four pay increases for Cervantes, so his merits as a officer and soldier were appreciated.}
And if I may suggest, read the following verse out loud. Only when poems are read aloud can one hear the cadence the poet intended.
Strong gongs groaning as the guns boom far,
Don John of Austria is going to the war,
Stiff flags straining in the night-blasts cold
In the gloom black-purple, in the glint old-gold,
Torchlight crimson on the copper kettle-drums,
Then the tuckets, then the trumpets, then the cannon, and he comes.

We wanted to solicit the community for ideas and input. Specifically about our website/ webstore
We currently have a large variety of miniature lines and terrain available. We would like to offer even more deals than our usual bulk buy drop-downs.
I was specifically thinking army deals or potentially One-Stop terrain bundles. What price point, does the community think that an army deal or a terrain bundle should be to where it's easy to make the decision to buy?
What other ranges or army deals would you like to see?
Our web store can be found at the link below and we appreciate any input you may give
I tend to buy minis in smaller numbers for skirmish scale gaming purposes, usually only a couple of each type in an army. I don’t know if “sampler” sets are economically possible, but they tend to be more my speed. Well, then and bits. Lots and lots of bits

I've been specifically adding shield packs when possible so that is an option. other bits as it is economically feasible.
You have some WGA kits. What percentage size would these heads need to be printed in to match your historicals, such as the Persians or DA Irish?
Here's a scale shot. I'd say 150% or 175% personally. Also, a primed horse lords guard on foot for anyone interested. Ignore my crap placement of the shield arm and meh priming job.
We are still here. We've just held off advertising while we get the order backlog under control.
We've also revamped our cleaning process for orders, and each order that includes resin miniatures going forward will have a printout with safety information.
We appreciate our customers working with us. If you have a current order and are wondering where it is, please message me and I will track things down. We are a two man company and while that should not impede us getting orders out in a timely fashion, we did get inundated and overwhelmed earlier this month (We still have family time to consider, and sundays we consider a day off.)
New pikemen are available in the medbury miniatures line.
Greetings and welcome to this weeks transparency post, where we here at TIPs pull back the curtain and keep you up to date as to goings on here at the "office."
Firstly, we apologize for the lateness of this post. We intended for these to be weekly however time slipped away from us last week.
We will be updating the webstore tomorrow/over the following week with a slew of new miniatures from a variety of sources.
Caballero miniatures is going to have his june releases added to the store.
The siege of pringar kickstarter has delivered, which means new fortress walls (with optional towers that can accomodate trebuchets) and siege equipment for any enterprising attacking force.
BigMrTong has more guards of atlantis out, this time wielding spears/harpoons.
And last but not least, @'ErramirOrlans' and peculiar companions have a slew of new offerings that just got fulfilled from their successful german empire kickstarter.
Regarding orders:
We had a resin machine break down this week. We are currently waiting on a replacement part after requesting warranty service.
FDM orders are trundling along as all of our FDM printers are operational. For non miniatures items, all of our machines now have multi-material upgrade units installed, so if you need something done up in multiple colors send us a private message.
Resin orders are proceeding apace, despite one of our machines being down. We are still catching up on the order queue, and we appreciate everyones patience.
As always, thank you for reading, and if you have ordered lately thank you for your support of our 2-man small business.
We are celebrating one of our favorite creators this week. Until Monday the 5th, take 15% off orders of $25 or more for anything from the peculiar companions ranges - just check them out from the drop down at the top of our home page under the fantasy tab!
peculiar companions knights on demigryphons, as well as the knights of mort, are now up on the webstore. Good news, they are covered under the current flash sale of peculiar companions products. Enjoy 15% off of orders of $25 or more.

I wonder if the hornblower is meant to be Roland. Now Roland was a Frankish knight, but according to the La Chanson de Roland he commanded the rearguard of Charlemagne's army which was ambushed in Roncevaux Pass and destroyed. The pass is on the border of what is now Spain and France.

Could be, or just could be a Spanish knight with a warhorn.
I guess the best way to find out is buy one and use it however you like! A diorama would be especially cool
Hello again everyone. Today we have an extra special release from Medbury miniatures. This time, it is the Warriors of the Frontier Kingdom. sword, spear, and bow variants, along with a command group and mounted knights. Here are a few selections:

Steel Legionnaires are also 35$, meaning 3.5$ per Guardsman.

Hi everyone,
Lord Marcus here from Two Idiots printing service. We here at TIPS wanted to do something special for Dakka Dakka members in relation to our current sale.
The current sale is 9 peculiar companion armored ogres (physical prints, so 9 physical models) for $24.99.
The following is our Dakka Special. Just mention you are a dakka dakka member in your order notes and we'll get the free captain added to your order.
We have had a few inquiries and so want to clarify things
ARMORED MIGHT SALE:
The sale is on a bundle package of 9 physical miniatures. These are not STL files.
As noted by commenters above, this works out to less that $3 per physical ogre miniature.
All you need to do is go to the armored ogre page, click on the drop down and select the sale package.
This deal is not limited, so if you want to buy multiples you can.
DAKKA DAKKA SPECIAL:
For DAKKA members only, if you purchase two of the sale bundles and mention you are a DAKKA member in your cart notes, an ogre captain miniature ($5.50 value) will be added to your order free of charge.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Happy Friday everyone.
We've shuffled a few things around the webstore and are working on implementing a tag system to make searches easier.
Last few days of the armored might sale. come get your armored ogres today!
ALSO
The peculiar companions giant has been added. We took this opportunity to test out some new drop downs. please let us know your thoughts on them and if they provided a better experience.
That giant is really cool. I would order exactly like option 2… and the price is pretty good. I spent too much on the the 2nd wave reaper pledge manager, and the Scythian pledge manager…
But the armored ogres and the giant are on my list. Maybe next month… any word on whether you will offer an upgrade for pre-cleaned (support removed) options?
And approximately how tall is that giant? Wonder how he compares to the mantic giant or the new GW ones.
The giant looks... Really low-detail and somewhat awkwardly posed. Basically, like he was sculpted as a regular sized dude, with the amount of detail of a regular infantry mini, and then upscaled several times.

1. Support removal is on the website as an option under services. It's also in the revolving feature on the front page.
2. I can get a photo of this guy next to a ruler if you'd like. The little zwielhander guys at his feet are 28mm scaled.

Thanks, I had to do a search for services to find it. One thing… if I order 7 ogres.., which comes out to $30, the cost to clean the supports is $20? Ouch. Yeah, I will consider it, but it kind of puts it in the probably not zone. Unfortunately.

Ross wanted to get a price up and we based it on people buying infantry figs at our base $2.50 rate.

Got my Giant in the mail yesterday. Actually ended up with 2... (Thanks Lord Marcus). The second one did not come with a right hand, but luckily i had some spare bits left from the mantic giant.
The mantic giant is taller, and looks a little more imposing with his bigger weapon... but not out of place next to the two imperial giants. I included a frost grave female soldier and knight to show the scale better. Excellent sculpts and the print quality on the giants is great.
Edit: Waiting on another 100mm round base for the 2nd imperial giant.
On the other hand, however, we are going to have a large variety of Utah coming online in the next couple of days and weeks.
More Spanish from Caballero miniatures, the new Russians from peculiar companions, more from medbury miniatures, and one currently secret project with a big name in the sculpting scene.
TIPS is proud to announce a license deal with Legendary sculptor Bob Naismith.
We have contracted to begin selling physical prints the excellent line of Overrunners sci-fi figures.
Check out the Listings in Bob's collection on the store below. Commnd and heavy weapons are per figure, squad is our usual individual or multiples of 10. These should all be selectable by drop down. please let us know if you encounter any issues.
Any chance you guys will pick up some of the other models in Bob Naismith’s line? Particular, wondering about his civilians & spacefarers line of hard suits and pilots.

Valete,
JohnS
I'm sure we could ask about them. Otherwise the old saying of "if these sell well enough" applies.
Today, we have the start of releases for the Peculiar companions: Duchy of Moscow line.
More importantly, this is the beginning of something new for us at TIPS. Going forward, there should be pictures of printed examples within a week of release, if not on release day.
More importantly: ALL RUSSIAN INFANTRY, SETS OF 10 (SEE DROPDOWN MENU ON PRODUCT PAGE) ARE REDUCED IN PRICE FROM $25 TO $19.99. OFFER VALID 9/29/21- 10/06/21
We are now offering up a deal on our website we affectionately like to call the 10x10. You get 10 infantry, and 10 cavalry for a reduced price. Then you get a free model on top of that. This lets you taste a particular range and get something free at the bargain.
I would just like to add though, I voted 10 for the quality, but for clarity I don't really have any idea of what a good quality 3d print looks like as I have no experience with them. From the image provided, it does look very good and I'd more then happily buy a selection of them.
In the survey, I said I'd like to see more fantasy civilians. I forgot to put down that I'd also be keen to see fantasy weapon packs for unusual weapons and siege equipment like catapults/trebuchets/etc.

Newly licensed to sell Labyrinth Models. These are some extremely well detailed and unique 32mm sculpts. printed examples to come within 72 hours.
For reference, there are 3 poses to the witches, and the demon lord is suitably large, coming in at almost double one of the peculiar companions ogres.
