I guess the WarCry bands that have been teasered are a safe bet - maybe the next Killteam box on top of that, the cover of the next AoO book with Farsight that we basically know already, whatever for Heresy, and if'im allowed to dream: the next book for Necromunda.

Probably not gonna get all of that.

Killteam and Warcry will be their respective next boxsets thought i don't think we will see the full Warcry set already, probably only one side or single models for each.

For Horus Heresy we still have the Cerberus, "Librarian" and the "Assassin"? But since we have already seen the Typhon we basically already know how the Cerberus will looks like and the other two are probably resin or at least only small models so if they actually want a bigger reveal they will have to show something new.

Age of Sigmar will probably be Seraphon since they are rumoured to be the next book for March.

40k will probably be the next AoO book with Farsight and Snikrot but the question is if we will see more or if that will be all?

Last year had the following:

40k: Eldar Shining Spears, Maugan Ra, Avatar of Khaine

AoS: Arena of Shades Battlebox

Heresy: Ka'Bandha, general of Khorne

KT: single model for the Corsairs from the Nachmund Box

Necromunda: animated trailer for Ash Wastes, no models

WarCry: nil

Underworlds: nil

So, basically one big reveal, one big-ish reveal, a smattering of models for 2-3 other systems and some hype without models.

I really hope Seraphon will be the big reveal this time both the faction and AoS could use some focus

Pessimistically I only expect the full Kill Team set, a single model for Warcry, the two small Heresy models with the Cerberus beeing revealed on Thursday, probably only one or two teaser models for Seraphon and Farsight for 40k

In the shot with background, it looks like it's standing on a larger scale tactical holo display, similar to the one that one GSC tactician has:

Dark Eldar were in the new year preview video so some kind of Beastmaster / Trueborn kit seems likely.

They will have kept the KT box aside to show at LVO because 40k likely doesn't have a ton of stuff in the near future aside from various single character models. Most probably it'll be Adepticon that gets to show off AoO Book 5, The Lion, and maybe those rumoured new marine models. Meanwhile the focus for this week will be on Seraphon and other games instead of 40k.

We need at least one Arbite with one of these flimsy little plastic bags. Or, alternatively, a bag dispenser as an objective marker.

Same. I love dogs, and logically I love dog miniatures. In the last few years GW has made some AWESOME ones (Starstriders puppy, FW promo Arbite Mastiff, Necromunda cyber mastiff, the dogs in the Underworlds Hexbane’s set….love them all). This one just seems fine.

Nothing for Specialist Games, in addition to no Specialist Games sneak preview for the year, at least lends credence to the various vague not-quite rumours of something huge coming from them later this year. Tinfoiled hope is hope too

It’s easy to mock when you use visual clues and relatively reliable sources rather than picking an incredibly unlikely outcome and arguing it against any reason or sense.

Alright, here's what I'm calling...

Warhammer 40k: They'll reveal Farsight and Snikrot and the last Arks of Omen book title.

Age of Sigmar: Seraphon, maybe teasers of Dawnbringer Crusades

Horus Heresy: More tanks, but gods above I hope it's Assault Marines.

Kill Team: Arbites vs Trueborn Kabalites

Warcry: Khorne Cultists vs Vampire Hunters

Underworlds: The last deck and warband for this season, which I'm going to guess is... Shadow Elves.

Already shadow previewed Farsight and Snikrot seems a little thin on the ground for 40K, is Adepticon in March then the start of the three month hype train to 10th ed?

If that were the case it feels like that AoS would need a big preview

Sadly, no. Its what they've been doing with all the KT/Voidborn stuff this season. Black bases with tiny piles of random stuff that we're supposed to take as metal debris from Space Hulk interiors.
Supposedly there will be proper sculpted bases at some point, but they apparently don't even have them for studio pictures yet.

They can always show artwork of a single turd floating in a toilet bowl on the Rock™ to announce that the Lion finally took his morning dump to start the hypetrain on AoO book 5, the 'secret' one where totally nobody knows what it's about.

I'm also someone a bit disappointed there is no Blood Bowl preview included at the LVO.

However it looks like they didn't do a Blood Bowl preview at LVO last year either.

Which makes me ask, when do they show any Blood Bowl? Would that be at Adepticon?

Anyway count me interested to see what these Arbites look like and what all the hype is about.

Depends largely on whether or not the Lion is coming as a model before 10th edition, as a 10th edition reveal, or post-10th launch.

Which in and of itself depends on whether the starter box for 10th is going to be Dark Angels vs Tyranids or the rumored Blood Angels. Could go either way.

If they release the Lion before 10th ed, then it'd likely be part of the narrative of the Arks of Omen, which I don't really see happening...

I think that that grill is actually a muzzle, possibly remoted-controlled. You hit the button and seargant chompers is let loose. It's probably the same button that makes his sunglasses come down

Yep, that's the Codex Astartes third squad Rhino or third of any given support tank marking to a tank assigned to the Ultramarines 2nd company. I assume it's a Brutalis Dreadnought tease honestly - note that the studio army Redemptor Dreadnaught has exactly the same marking on it's left breast but number 2. I assume it'll have some panelling similar to the Ironclad.

It's nothing to do with any known EC marking.

Yeah, would be nice. 30k is basically in a very confused state with certain armies.

If you're Iron Hands, Imperial Fists, or Iron Warriors, you're having a grand old time.

If you are nearly anything else, you're missing at least 1/4th of your army in units that aren't in plastic yet, or books that aren't available yet.

The Lion coming so close to another Primarch and EC coming so close to World Eaters seems like GW releasing too much too soon. I'd not be surprised if Lion was saved to be a 'tent pole' model next year, woven into the narrative of 10th. EC wise I could see them being the launch faction for 11th and getting a range more comparable to DG. We would then have two 'fleshed out' Heretic factions and two 'minor' ones (then hopefully they can finally flesh out TSons).

If the current predictions are true, the Lion will be introduced in May with book 5 of AoO, and probably be previewed/revealed at Adepticon in March or even Warhammer Fest in April - at that point, it will be 8 to 10 months since the first image leak of Angron. It only feels close because Angron was known almost half a year before he was commercially available. If their original plan had worked out, they would have been released practically at the same time.

Yeah I think they'll show The Lion at Adepticon, and save Warhammerfest to focus on the new edition stuff. If today's teaser really is the rumoured new 40k dreadnought I expect it'll only be that shown, with the rest of the boxed set kept for Adepticon too.

Realistically between Guard wave 2 / World Eaters in February and 10th edition in likely late June, 40k doesn't seem to have a lot coming in terms of new kits. We're looking at 4-5 single character models plus whatever new space marine units to cover 3-4 months.

EC wise I could see them being the launch faction for 11th and getting a range more comparable to DG. We would then have two 'fleshed out' Heretic factions and two 'minor' ones (then hopefully they can finally flesh out TSons).

It's hard to be fleshed out when you're nothing but dust.

When Magnus came out, Guilliman was right behind.

Mortarion then came out.

So now we're getting Angron and potentially the Lion right behind.

And then later on, Fulgrim will come out.

Pattern-detecting monkey-brain says this checks out.

Perhaps new Skinks in general? As old kits go they’re not awful, but I’d love to see what sort of sculpting they’re capable of.

Note I almost said “see what they can do these days” but that would include halve the contents and increase the price. So I shan’t.

Oh.

Eh there are 4 game systems on the list that aren't 40k or AoS. I'm not sure if being a Specialist Game or not is still a meaningful distinction.

It honestly bugs me how inconsistent they are with skinks. The bastilodon and ripperdactyl riders came out before AOS, but are relatively new models in the range. Then the underworlds team came out and now skinks have ear holes and other differences that slightly irk me.

Fixing a points error
We’ve spotted a slight points error on the latest Munitorum Field Manual. It seems Space Marine Inceptors were running around with a pair of free plasma exterminators – which is a little unfair to their assault bolter-wielding battle brothers. Rather than wait three months for the next quarterly update, we thought we’d better make a quick change now – it’s +10 points each. Still deadly, but you have to pay for it.

There's some rumours on B&C re 10th that I cba copying over or creating a thread for, but supposedly first 10th tidbits will drop at adepticon, so whatever is shown at LVO isn't 10th apparently.

iirc 9th ed 40k and 3rd ed aos were both previewed at adepticon in prior years. i remember watching the adepticon livestream and seeing the first reveal for 9th ed 40k on the stream pretty distinctly as it was right at the start of the pandemic, basically, while a lot of the world was in early stages of lockdown. They didn't tell us much about it, but they certainly revealed it.

Aos 3rd edition was annonced at 2021 warhammer fest, while 9th edition wasn't at any event, it was in an online preview in may. Neither could have been previewed at adepticon because it was cancelled due to covid.

Not really? The show is at feth-off o'clock tonight/tomorrow morning for whatever reason (and like last year, will likely be live streamed from Nottingham rather than the event, so the why??? of that remains inscrutable), and there's only so much they can preview of the preview, before just doing the event previews of the Sunday previews of the preorders for the next couple months.

That we're getting 40k previews is kind of a given, even without the systems specified.

I really like the new Redemptor. But the missile-toting Primaris are just...off... The shape of the weapons doesn't work, and why do they have little opening lids? I think I've pretty much embraced the aesthetics of the Heresy-era models.

They did say there's enough bits to make the whole squad with riot gear, so I presume that includes Lex-mandated helm regulations.

The space cops do look good, for a bunch of fascist bully-boys. I feel a bit sorry for the dog though. How does he lick his doggy bits?

The nasty elves look terrible. I think it's the heads, but maybe even the underlying kit is starting to look a bit dated?

I have to find an excuse to fit a Cerberus into one of my 2 HH armies. That thing is easily more WH40k than any existing WH40k Marine vehicle. The (poorly named) Desolation squad shows just how far the current Marine models are straying from that aesthetic.

Disappointing that two of the options were 'slightly wych-y kabalite' and 'slightly wrack-esque kabalite', and 'arch-sybarite' is just a really weird title.

I'm going to have to get used to the new look of Arbites. Not sure if I'll end up liking it yet. The models should make a nice base for Crusader conversions, though. Who knows how long it's going to take GW to make a box of those.

That was one of the best previews in a while.

The Marines with the missiles galore are clearly ridiculous but I don’t actually mind them. I really like the silhouette of the dreadnought.

The Lizardmen are the stars of the show for me. The current Saurus kit was my first Warhammer kit ever and these are a great update. They actually look like the art now. The Slann is excellent, I think I even prefer it to Kroak. And new feathered dinos. And that’s like half the stuff coming for them!

The Warcry box impressed me even following the lizards which says something. Love the ascetic monk Soulblight, particularly the pariah I think it was called with the bat on his shoulder, and the werewolf/bat/creature. The Khorne band are cool as well, I like how the leader has a mask and two skulls to imitate the three heads of Karanak.

The DoK warband is eh. The models are fine but it’s the third DoK band and I was hoping g for something different.

Cerberus is cool but not much to say. It’s a Cerberus but plastic.

Really like the Arbites. It’s very 40k that the Enforcers on Necromunda are fairly grounded sci-fi cops and then the 40k supercops are dressed almost like medieval knights. I don’t have the same connection to Arbites as some, they were mostly before my time, but it’s always cool to see old 40k ideas redone.

Dang, the Killteam and 40k stuff looks really tempting. As much as I dieslike giving anymore money to GW, these boxes could get me to do so...
Lets see if they are available in sufficient numbers from my favourite mailorder... Don't know if the artificial shortage still persists or if GW has ceased to go that route.

Cuss-toads are called Slann now, get with the times grandpa!

The Arbites are the star of the show for sure, directly followed by the Khornate furries and the Shaolin bloodsuckers, although i don't like most of their faces.

Brutalis dreadnought... meh... at this point they'll soon stick grots on Primaris vehicles to accompagnie the glut of silly weapons.

As for the missile dudes - i don't even think they look that bad, but the belt-feeds for ??? are an extremely weird design choice. I guess their modular main weapon is a decent source for hunter-killer missiles and such for future conversions

I can't say I NEED more Arbites,

but I certainly want these dudes.

Anyone know what's up with the delay on getting the Into the Dark teams on their own? Krieg and the Junior Sisters have been out since summer but the Navy and Kroot aren't.

I'll probably get a box set for the Arbites and Terrain but would also want a box or two of the Arbites on their own too.

They’re growing on me, especially when the head is aligned to be sighting the weapon. They look like something which can be fired from the hip (yes I know they’re long and bulky) rather than the somewhat staid and boring Regular Tube Missile Launchers.

Agreed. It's like GW is memefying Primaris on purpose. "heard you like guns so we put guns on guns" and "you get a primaris lieutenant! and you get a Primaris lieutenant! We all get Primaris Lieutenants!". Primaris are looking more like Action figures as years go by..

Everything shown besides the new Warcry stuff and Soulshackle terrain was a disappointment for me. Glad I didn't try to wake up early for the reveals, I would have started the day all grumpy.

Ridiculous compensator pattern overgunned primaris

Cool demon prince paywalled in a dumb battlebox until its story arc is over

Copy of existing DoK Underworlds band but more bland

Pretty cool Arbites paywalled with more walls and a sprue of DE warriors

Pretty cool Warcry box, Vampires look really good, the Flesh Hound furry cosplay a bit less so

Epic new Old One, okay skink cav, okay saurus

Horus Heresy reveal we already knew about, thanks for nothing

4/10 and propped up entirely by the fantasy side

It takes the basic redemption load out of melee with wrist gun, icarus rocket launcher, chin gun pair and swaps the heavy weapon arm for a second melee arm with wrist gun and bumps the chin guns from light to medium mounts. Similar to how the ironclad dread can have melta on the melee arms instead of just flamer or storm bolter.

Id expect 99% of people will get far more value out of a new dreadnought sprue than a flat square of plastic to put on the generally unseen bottom of a tank.

I think they fell into the "just because you can doesn't mean you should" trap with the move from physical sculpting to CAD. Now it's too easy to just copy/paste a bunch of stubbers on every random surface and let the slicing software figure out how to make a sprue out of it. Someone needs to beat them over the head with a "less is more" sign until they get back to the iconic designs that made 40k.

Yes, but the Redemptor was already a mess with too many guns. This abomination is just a boxdread but worse.

This. It literally looks cheaply bolted on, like babies' first conversion. It makes no sense in the context of the model, totally ignores the suggestion that there are some working mechanisms and stuff under the random plate it's bolted to, and in consequence makes the model look more like a toy than a 'scale model' that looks like it could work at least on a passing glance.

I can quarantee these marines will sell more kits than dorn would have got more sales with bottom sprue&price hike.

As is dorn complains are just from usual troublemakers who complain just for sake of complaining. If gw would make all rules and models free they would complain then as well.

It's just complaining for sake of complaining and because complaining is cool. And youtubers get clicks for profit,

The arbites look great, hoping we get rules to use them in Necromunda.

The primaris stuff is so bad, close combat dread covered in guns. T-shirt launching heavies! The decent into saturday morning cartoon derp continues apace.
But the multi part lieutenant seems like a nice kit.

Jes is still GW's lead 40k concept artist. All the primaris stuff comes from his sketches. They are very much his design. The only reason he isn't a sculptor any more is because he can't use computers.

Just having the smaller dual missile pods mounted over the shoulders while wielding normal heavy bolters, rotary cannons or whatever would look much, much better and would also recall the classic Warlord titan outline, making for an overall more 'imperial' look.

It shouldn't be surprising. If you don't care about AoS the 40k stuff was all pretty weak. Maybe the arbites were ok (though not my thing personally) but the missile marines are horrible, the new dread is another bland and pointless primaris marine nobody asked for, the HQ is yet another primaris lieutenant to join the 999999 we already have, the DE are a pretty bland and unimaginative standard kill team sprue, and the Cerberus is the same tank we already had but in a worse material. Oh, and I guess technically there's a new starter set if you somehow don't have enough marines already, but who cares about that. All the 40k stuff is a masterclass in phoning it in.

Agreed. I can appreciate some nice models for AOS and its various spin off games but it's not my personal focus so the models have to shine for them to stand out for me. These were competent remakes but nothing special but the entire reveal presentation was really soured by the poster children for the biggest game, the 40k primaris, being such a meme.

Seraphon - I really like, and as others have said, I hope they fit on square bases and rank up.

Arbites - Look good, but is that dog attached by a flimsy lead to the handler and they're on seperate bases? Have fun moving that in game.

Primaris - Just no. Looks like GW are 'Final Fantasying' 40k with the silly weapon sizes.

Horus Heresy - Meh. Just want those plastic jetbikes to be released and bring assault/jetpack troops out.

With Arbites the sniper shotgun kind of works in the fluff, in their old old Necromunda rules they had 'executioner shells' which were fired from shotguns, but were actually small heat-seeking missiles that could fly around corners and cover and could be -in fluff- programmed to pick out a specific individual from a crowd and stuff like that.

Also: they all seem to have bodycams

Yeah, the Arbites have had those seeker-shells since second edition at least. It used to be that they got -1 to hit at short range but +1 at long range because the little robot brain took a moment to lock on. Making a longer range version of that with better target identification gear makes sense.
I’m wondering how that would work out in KT? It’s exactly the kind of environment where that sort of detail becomes important.

The leader model in the Daughters of Khaine warband is awesome.

The GallowDark terrain is cool.

Warcry Vampires are cool and the Flesh Hound cult is both wonderful storytelling and amusing at the same time. Love it.

The Arbites are awesome.

Multi-part Lieutenant kit is a great idea.
No interest in the new Dreadnought, simply prefer the normal Redemptor.

The Primaris Desolators though.....Im torn between liking them and thinking every weapon choice on the same gun is just a little too much.....

Unless their datasheet is similar to Obliterators where you pick the weapon type before shooting then its going to be a mess if the weapon types are different in the box.

Vashtorr being stuck in a box for a few months with recycled Shadowspear sprues is an interesting take. Existing DA players needing to buy the whole set for Azareal as well makes me feel a little sad for them.

Imperium used 3 types of sniper rifle : solid round, toxin dart, and long las.

Judging by the cylinder, and the gun look like modified shotgun body that still keep the pump action, it's likely a solid round weapon which is the most versatile one that can use both high power and toxin round.

From how they're presented on the box, it seems like it's another setup where the whole squad can either have the 4 smaller or the 2 larger missile pods on top of the small round missile thing, and either 1 in 5 or the the sergeant can have the bigger thing with 1 massive missile.

The reflection will be an update for the rules proclaiming that you can pick

1 x can take y
1 x can take z

etc. etc. like the commando stipulations

Ooh! And since the handcuffs are in his right hand, you could totally give them the "pointy hand holding a dog leash" to really drive home the point.

He would go really well with the flesh hound fursuit guy from Warcry

I think what bothers me the most about those guns is that they're very much NOT 40k. A bolter is 40k. A plasma gun is 40k. So is a melta or a lascannon.

Those are just modern "missile boxes" stacked on top of each other. There's nothing about them that says they belong in a setting where grav guns are a thing.

Then again, I think the original Heresy era ML is still the best.

Fair enough, I can understand that complaint. They would probably look more at home in an Ork army, now that I think of it.

To be fair, they seem to want to expand the 'visual alphabet' of 40k by reusing certain assets - for example that 'sixgun' missile pod also crops up in the Hekaton Land fortress and on other Primaris vehicles, so even if the design itself is new, there seems to be a consistent effort to establish a visual continuum between things.

That's the thing with Primaris, isn't it? They are modern tacticool in design, so at their core they are already a deviation from what came to define Marines as we knew them for most of their existence. There's just no fix for that.

Although it's kind of telling that even among the many and varied dodgy design elements Primaris have, the belt fed pepperbox missile launcher with hunter killer bunny ears still manages to stand out.

Well, this is something to wake up to.

Primaris: wth?
No and no. Just absolutely not.

Not sure why Primaris is once again competing with existing models with terrible concepts.
Plinko-gun dread follows the same gun ethos as the 'stealth' not-a-dread and has no reason to.

Missile rifles. . Indirect fire and multiple types is going to mean a terrible mess of internal balance, bad rules and wrong point costs.

Only hopeful thing is that Lt Blandy McBlanderson might mean a datasheet consolidation.

----
Special Characters with recycled units box. Whatever. Couldn't care less.

----
Witch elves- look, I know its the masks. I do. But Decrepit Grandmothers of Wresting isn't a vibe I'm looking for.

----
Seraphon-
Ok. Ok. Ok. These took a moment- a small tablet was not the best viewing.

Didn't know I needed or wanted a super-detailed fat toad, but I guess I do. Needs to be sat on a plinth rather than held up by three vines, though.

Princess Mononoke Park Raptors are.. more intriguing than I thought.

Saurus warrior headplates took a moment to adjust to, but the sheer bulk and power of these models is amazing. Stellar job (but it took way too long to do saurus well)

But it is indeed a Great Plan, and a promise of more.

----
Warcry-
Not sure either of these gangs are for me, but there are some truly excellent sculpts here.
Vampire rope monks are far more interesting than they have any right to be.

Still hate infantry models on cavalry bases, however.

----
HH
Oh, hey, tank. If we have to not get infantry again, why not the demios vindicator variants rather than a suicide boat?

----
KT

Well, ok. I... nah. Bland. Random helmets of non-protection are an odd choice and the overall look is uninspired and uninteresting.
I was expecting something more.

I suppose there is something new and different for the dark eldar, but can't be asked to figure out what it is. The bird, probably. Even more boring than Genericus Judge..

----
Fantasy wins. By a lot.

Ar-bih-tess is how I pronounce the name.

Loved: The Slaanald Trump narrator on the Seraphon trailer. New Seraphon are ace. Happy for those who have waited so long for the Saurus to be redone.
The whole Killteam box, especially the reintroduction of the Arbites to the setting with new sculpts.
Killteam box is dope…. And is that Vampire Leader’s hair pinned up? Hmmm 🤔

Lame: Underworlds warband. Who wanted them? This just says to me the designers have no idea where they’re going with Malerion.
Primaris heavies…. While the rest of the setting seems to be returning to grimdark nostalgia, the primaris continue to be the strangest anomaly. These just don’t fit as far I’m concerned.
Indifferent: Vashtorr Azrael box. Primaris lieutenant. Eh ok.

Are they though? The basic Primaris is a perfectly fine Marine design - just look at the Black Templar's range, or the couple new Dark Angels.

It's really the paraphernalia that pushes the tacticool vibe.

I want them, more grounded, mundane 2 feet on the ground pose for these are always welcome, as oppose to the leap into the fray one from the kit. Morgwaeth’s Blade-coven had 2 witch aelves but only 1 really had a decent grounded pose (that's similar to the cover art of the DoK rulebook), and she's also the worst fighter on that team.

In my view they are. Yes, basic Mk.X have only traces of it (which is the reason why I have Primaris at all, some of their models don't take it very far) but you only need to glance over at the other basic, Phobos Marines to get your tacticool overdose in an instant.

That modern design aspect is so prevalent in the army, almost everywhere you look, that I don't see the few models that take it easy as enough to sway me away from lumping them all together.

Good: The Saurus and the Slaan and just excellent. Amazing sculpts, exactly what everyone wanted, lovely stuff.

The Arbities are great, and the extra terrain bits from that book are lovely too.

The Primaris Lieutenant having a variety of options is good. Make all the special editions you like GW, but the standard base model needs to have a wide variety of weapon options on sprue so the datasheet isn't so stupid.

Fine
: The Brutalis is alright, I don't find his guns to be nearly as offensive as some others.

The Skinks on the Raptordons are fine. The Raptordon's are bad versions of the Cold Ones. GW insists on trying to make these weird new mounts of AOS and I don't know why.

The Khorne boys for Warcry are very dynamic, and look pretty cool.

The Cerberus is good, just unexciting. Was kinda hoping for a bit more HH wise given the shoulderpads are done for every chapter now. At least start filling in the Preators for the legions who don't have them.

The DE could kind of have done with something more than a fairly generic upgrade sprue.

Ugly: The Desolation Primaris Marines are the worst marine models GW have done for literally decades. An inexplicable screw up. I've never seriously suggested this despite playing 40k since RT because I know how implausible it is, but these are so bad I honestly think GW should pull them from release and redo them. They bring down the entire line.

Can't say I think the undead for Warcry and very inspiring (though not on the same level of bad).

Gryselle’s Arenai are also probably the weakest scupts ever for Underworlds, though a bad paint job isn't helping. They feel completely redundant too.

On the Underworlds, I do wonder how many warbands are just the sculptors given free reign, a way for them to develop and improve their skills with an opportunity to do just a handful in poses which might be impractical for a regular unit?

Certainly I understand them to be fairly popular projects for painters, due to low(ish, this is still GW prices) cost and greater variety.

Way worse. I think the Marine Scout sprue is the only competition it has in bad Marine plastics since the 2nd Edition starter box set.

What a great reveal!

I'm oddly enthused about the Kabalite upgrade sprue even though the options it represents look decidedly pedestrian compared to most contemporary 40k sculpts but I suppose that was always likely to be the case.

(I do enjoy some shiny Eldar, no matter the flavour!)

Lizardmen have been well worth the wait, beautiful sculpts, all of them, (I'd buy you a pint/tipple of your choice down the boozer whomever you are, Mr or Mrs artist!) and are the standout series of minis on the horizon. Can't wait to see more! (Kroxigor! Kroxigor! Kroxigor! Please!)

No idea what's going on in marineland these days but there's scraping the barrel and then there's NERF guns, apparently. The lieutenant is quite reserved and nice by comparison, to be fair.

How much pot do these 3d designers smoke? All of the new releases are fantastic except for those Pseudo devastators / Desolation Primaris Marines. I find it hard to believe multiple artists thought that looked good. I guess one guy designed them and corporate gave them a thumbs up. He or She wants to stay anonymous

Lack of oversight? Not having a single sculptor? Sprue room issues when designing kits digitally? No idea.

You look at the model and immediately go ""Uhhh this looks wrong..." similar to the new Primaris jump pack design and clear flight stand.

More than half the SM players that buy them will most likely convert these models to make them look less embarrassing.

The Primaris stuff just looks like GW had extra vehicle bits and built marines around them.

Extra Repulsor bits? Put them on marines!

Extra Impulsor bits? Put them on dreads!

Ar-bites (HMBC is correct) look like Sisters of Battle with some conversions.

I've been chewing the Primaries Desolators for a while now. While silly, I could almost get on board with a belt-fed, 6-barrel, rotory missile launcher. It's silly, but just silly enough to work. It's the strapping of MORE missiles to the side of the gun that gets me. Had the just went with the rotory gun, and perhaps given each guy a single shot, shoulder mounted mini HK missile, that could work too.

As they are, it's beyond OTT goofy. I don't care how good the rules are stock models will never be in my collection.

New redemptor dread - looks good, I'll probably get some of those third party leviathan style armor bits, make it look like a mega-leviathan

New primaris Lt - meh, more bits are ok, but I think this was a big missed opportunity to make a gravis lieutenant, completing the trifecta of being able to make an all gravis, all phobos or all normal armor army.

Missile launchers - lol no. These look awful

My main issue with the dread are the stubbers. They should have no place in the marine armory. What are we? Guardsmen?

I might pick him up if there is another bit we can use there.
