Mordoskul wrote:I'm going to say no to mechs, but yes to powered armor. Powered armor is essentially scaled down terminator armor is terms of protection.
I didn't mean a mech like dreadnought size, I meant power armored size so that's fine with me.
Well I also have something to clear up from what I said about my exo`s back a few pages. I did call them mechs, but they arent vehicles so their exo`s just to clear it up.
No. Exo-suit. Exo skeletons are skin tight or slightly bigger. If you`ve played dead space, the armor he wears at the beginning is like an Exo skeleton. It provides basic brotection and prevents you from getting an arm ripped off from huge forces. An exo-suit is a robot suit thats piloted. Like in Killzone 3. The "exo`s" are known as Exo suits. Those are just slightly larger than our varients. Ours are more combat suits, but those are technically exo-suits.
Just the regular slasher then. The classic, their scary and hard to kill. Unless your talking about the hunter, then I will be forced to don my Isaac Clark suit and whoop its ass.
Yeah its the slasher then. The classic monster. Now there are multiple forms of them, so find the one thats practically naked and looks like it still has most of the flesh on it. That one will be the closest one that looks like a shaper, all the others actually look like human infected by a disease.
mutilators are the Shaped 'footsoldiers' not as powerful as Brutalizers and not as weak as Toothy Maws.
they attack in great hordes, maiming, slashing, (see what I did there?) and gutting their opponents like fish.
like other breeds of 'Footsoldiers' the Mutilators do not gather the dead, or feed on them, (though sometimes they will opportunistically bite) instead, the simple destroy them, and let the Scupper-Rats and Harvesters do all the work, they are usually seen just behind the Golephs, tortures, Scupper-Rats and Toothy Maws, lashing out constantly, and when in sight of the Un-Shaped they sprint forward, hacking apart their enemies in bloody swathes
Not at all. The shapers are actually humanoids, where the necromorph are parasites that take over a body, oh and ineptus you meant epicly awesome right?
Name Jenny Harker Species-Human Career- Demoman Equipment-Flamethrower, Demo-Pack, Flack Vest, Autopistol, Combat Knife Backstory/Bio- Born in Earth, Harker joined Coalition army to escape the Earths lower levels. Serving as combat engineer, she is capable soldier that can get the job done (usually in suitably messy way) Motivation-Duty Best Quality - Determinator Worst Quality-Blood Knight Quote- Alright you spankers. Who wants some?
this game reminds me of mass effect 3. All the races finnally working together to fight the evil ancient/unknown race. With hints of dead space enemies
But it says the limit is one. Oh and I have a question about the jobs, we dont have a heavy weapons job, so can we create one. Even though we`re a strike team we`ll need the heavy firepower.
me....(it would be realistic, I am noot saying no one else can be on as I am not the GM I am just pointing out that IRL no one gets hurt that bad that often)
we are kinda fighting futuristic enemys that love melting down people to make new things...plus whatever side quest there are. And my character has no immune system since bacteria is the same size. so put enough holes in me and i go down quite easily
ineptus remember my race is the size of bacteria, it takes trillions to fill one suit. But once one of the exorios dies it hardens but it takes several billion to create a clot to stop the infections so think blood that hardens instantly when it touches air.
yeroc500 wrote:Because we`re complicated Devestator that why.
im going to side with deve.we dont need a new class, just make the soldier have the option of a heavy weapon. besides,i thought the point of the soldier was to be the main fighters anyways.
levelers are armed with the heaviest weapons carried by two hands, they are deployed along with squads of infantry to be ovewheling fire support, Against the mindless hordes of shaped, they are devestating. they carry one of three items, an assault blaster, a THEL, or a 'Buzzsaw' Squad Automatic Weapon system. they are suited in servo-powered suits to carry the weight
Assault blaster: uses a single mass-reactive shell to hit armord targes and bio-tanks, held like a grenade launcher, requires re-cocking after each shot. effaective against armor and heavy infantry. poor against light infantry and medium infantry
Tactical High Energy Laser: fires a sustained beam of crackling power, is effective against light armor and medium infantry, poor against heavy armor, heavy infantry and light infantry. held over the shoulder.
Buzzsaw: fires a storm of 6mm miniballs out of its rotating 8 barrels at a high velocity, has been obseved to cut enemy in two, held over the shoulder, effective against light-medium-heavy infantry, poor against Armor.
Ok that sounds better than a soldier allowed to wield heavy weapons. That would be as overpowering as my super tank in toyhammer. Because they arent always going to be in the line of fire, or for that matter allowed into fire.
Right. It has down sides. I dont know why no one thinks of the down sides when it comes to heavy weapons users. And from where I`m from its nam rod. Thank you very much.
Well for starters I`m slow. We all knew this, another is with my firepower I`m as pretty big target too, oh and the fact I cant carry anything else. Grenades, close combat equipment, and other things. So mere mortal strong armor and a heavy weapon is only two ups to three downs. Do the math.
this is amusing me. and besides being slightly slower there is none.with those weapons you dont need other weapons. and you have to remember this guy has to be strong to use those,so he isnt slowed down that much.
1 Slow? we have transports so thats hardly problem
2 Large target? You mean bigger target than 8-9 feet dinosaur?
3 Oh yeah, changing knife for minigun is quite balanced
And a sniper, and a camo suit, and every other thing. The class is as balanced as you guys. They are heavy weapons troops they are suspose to lay down walls of bullets to cover the teams pull back. And we`re a strike team not a assualt force. We are dropped off and left until are mission is done.
octopuses are quite strong.well at least some. and servo armor would be to strong.it would make you OP. deves 2 is also still an issue. im probably also a big target and in an infiltrator.
Infiltrators arent a big target unless they make themselves them. I`m an octupus that floats a meter off the ground, and the weapons is so heavy I need servo assisted armor, I couldnt even move when I fire. I realize you guys have problems with it. But the whole point of a heavy weapons troop is exactly what the class is. I mean play any game and the heavy weapons trooper is slow but deals out enough bullets to cut down swaths of troops. Their also a big target, because they are a big morale booster and lowerer depending on the side. Apparently you guys are to blind to acknoledge the down sides, for a few good. I`m sorry but also another down side, is they are very outmanuverable. Go play halo you`ll see for yourself when you use a turret. and again strike team.
do you not see the point? the weapons are perfectly fine, he can only use one, wich is only good against certain things and according to the GM we ALL have power armor, his just has extra servos in the arms so he can lift the thing.
Mordoskul wrote:I'm going to say no to mechs, but yes to powered armor. Powered armor is essentially scaled down terminator armor is terms of protection.
Equipment- Assault Rifle Custom made with built in recoil suppressor and suppressor, Flack Vest, Autopistol, Helmet with vitalfeed and targetting optics constructed for him buy someone who owed him, Medikit, Combat Knife that has seen years of use and reconditioning. (Special equipment) Light machine gun he fleeced of a hrovan who should have known better. A new model that fires upwards of 35 rounds a second and certainly chews through ammo. The light mass reactive shells are filled with a flammable chemical Terance has found is exceptional for incinerating the lesser forms of shaped.
Backstory/Bio- Terence is dead. He has been for centuries. He was placed in Cryogenic stabilization when he was 23 in the year 2013. Legally, hes dead. But praises to heavan dont say that to his face. Hes been awake for 10 years now, and hes more than used to his life as a soldier. He doesnt socialise, he doesnt even pay attention when people ask him how he is. Not to the grunts anyway. Terence was placed in Cryo against his will. He had a life, a family. He was happy. But he was forced to watch his wife and child murdered. He was shoved into a cryogenic tank. And sealed in. He froze with his fists pounding on the glass and a note on his chest. Written by the men who killed his family it said. "Dont wake me up."
Of course the doctors ignored the note, they were ordered to wake up all the frozen form that century, it wasnt as if he would survive. Not with that much head trauma. But he did survive and when the doctors woke him up his first screamed word that the current century heard from him was his wifes name. JESS!!!
Since that day he has distanced himself from ordainary people. Preffering to live his own life away from the social circles of the galaxy. Hes afraid hell fall for someone else. Afraid that the memories he had of his family will be for nothing. He spent the next ten years training. Before he was frozen he was a soldier. A member of an elite special unit for terrorist hunting in Britan.
When he woke up he decided to keep doing what he did best. Killing. Recently he has been approached by several members of the local government of his subsector and been asked to join a special unit. His memories of the old days strong in his mind he readily accepted. There were more people who needed to be on the wrong end of the trigger.
These days his Jacket has a sewn in flak lining and his pants are lined with clips of ammunition. His dark brown eyes and hair almost seem to meld with his tanned skin. His mouth never smiles, unless hes pulling the trigger.
Motivation- Trying to escape the memories of his past. Hes used to this new age. but that doesnt mean he likes it.
Best Quality- Pure skill, hes trained himself to ignore pain and hardship scince he was a kid. Here in this new age thats even easier with the biological strengtheners he had been taking for ten years. Now hes as hardy as an ox and his trigger finger is still perfectly timed.
Worst Quality- Hes cold. So cold that most people cant stand to be around him. Nothing they say or do can get him to like them. This means that he makes friends... very very rarely. There are a few people he can cope with. But they are the people who genuinley care. He gives them the time of day because they remind him of home.
Quote- "Nothing can save you from death. Trust me, I know."
Wait so now being here longer makes some one better. Thats crap. The GM are to be listened too, not a player, they don`t make the rules. The class hasnt even been officialized. So gimme a better reason to not fight for something I like.
yes. the class has not been checked yet. if it falls through (tyranic, you are gonna have to change that) then everything will be balanced.
if Dev's idea is 'agreed' to, then we will have everyone being an MG toting rambo rather than a guy who is severely unmaneverable, but with decent firepower.
Right, which is a way of saying stop fighting and except the fact that you probably will lose. I will not wait without argueing. And I agree with ineptus completely. We don`t need a bunch of arnolds and rambos running around. For christ sake at least if it goes through I`m an octopus. Oh and on the whole with age comes experience. I aint no dim witted two year old. I might not be as old as some of these people, but I read and right above college level, just not in my spelling. So age does not always factor in as a factor.
Hey I did not insult you with anything worse than what I had already said. I have called you a NAM rod, and a nim wit. Thats what I called you both already on this thread. I know what talking behind someones back is trust me. I`m not the most popular amongst people. So go ahead and say I`m a coward for telling someone what I was doing. Thank you very much. And being an octopus I have a a bit harder time in a suit. Considering I have no legs, so my suit would be jerky in its walking. Thank you very much.
anyways, we seem to be divided on the subject, why dont we present our opinions.
mine can me exemplified by Tyranic's 'new' equipment. if we allow foot soldiers to carry hardware like that, this is going to turn into 'who can god the most.'

Not if there's a limit to who can carry that type of weapon...
oh yeroc.your just....funny. im not going to even say sorry that i offended you cause im not.
my idea is just soldier. a normal soldier.who can have a heavy weapon and a small knife. it slows him down alot.no servo arms.no huge muscles like he would have. and he just has soldier armor i guess.maybe a slightly weaker armor.
TBO i barely remeber what it was,i had a 'perfect' idea but it got lost.
Thank you I forgot about those. And ineptus about you being a clone, I`m pretty sure we`re not clones. Cuz we might think alike on alot of things, but we have some differences. I pretty sure about that. Ninja`d
The soldier would be to weak. Thats more down sides. The heavy has a pretty clear idea. Armored, armed, but slow as molassas, and has to stop to fire their weapons. I mean look at devestators, other than the fact that they are space marines. I mean even they to move as fast as a normal troop is a gyro stabilizer in the gun itself, so the class is pretty balanced.
And on the whole insulting thing, I respect everyone here, but if you insult me I throw them back with a few more. I dont sit on my ass and take it.
my point is though, that is what this guy is, he just has an enhanced arm-glove to help him lift the weapon, he also has better armor, there is not a lot there that is different.
Guys lets get this straight, those of you who know me... and albiet thats only a few in this thread will know that i wont spam the MG like its no tomorrow, itll be for special times, cause like i said in my post, it uses special ammo and it chews it up fast, where the hell am i going to be able to restock that frequently? its almost like a combi weapon.
Ill probably have 4x 175round mags to start with and well see if i get more
and btw if i do have to change it ive still got the other char on the thread lol
tyranic. I know you dont OP that much (we are all gulty though) and you post within the bounds of reality. i am just worried that newer players will think:
Right. So I feel its safe to say dakka is mainly guys. Now darko doesnt count because he`s a cat. Just wanted to clear that subject incase somebody goes and counts. Ninja`d twice
i hit him with fireworks....then tasted his feet trying to find the med kit. he then got up and ran into a wall and i ended up smashing in his head....
I can hack my way into shaped vessels and shaped tanks, also coalition ones. I have the best immune system and powerful enough verhide to repel stray shots.
If i`m an infiltrator I got a sniper and will pick off the big heavies, if I`m a leveler than I`ll lay down walls of bullets to kill the smaller cannon fodder.
*Shudder*
On a more team related role im a fairly military minded person so i can handle planning etc and additionally I can deal with straight up fighting, the kind of stuff we all have to work through but few of us enjoy... I enjoy it

Career-infiltrator
Equipment- modified beam. combat shank. modified cloak suit. modified pistol. metal banjo (for hitting things to!).
Backstory/Bio- coming from a jungle planet colony,he grew up exploring the vast jungles. as he grew up he learned basic skill from his dad and his sneaking skills from his time exploring. when he became a big bug he joined the elite force and went threw training as an infiltrator, learning how to use his worm like body to his advantage.
Motivation- prove he isnt weak. fun.
Best Quality- determined.
Worst Quality- violent for his race. bad diplomat.
Quote- you’ve got a real problem all right, and a banjos the only answer!
Not at all. A bad diplomat can not lead a team. Even if its a squad the corporal has to at least know how to negotiate with the enemy if a surrender comes up or when they are talking to the higher ranks about mission matters and supplies.
*Nodding* Im good with diplomacy
Infact as much as i sound like a total nerd tactics and Diplomacy are two skills my DnD characters allways have so that i can exercise that particular facet of my knowlege
We should probably avoid grouping all the specialists in one squad. Just to prevent situations like when e.g group 1 bumps into locked door and has nobody that can open it due the fact that all engineers are on group 2 that is pinned by sniper fire and have no way to counter the snipers due the group 3 snipers are too far to assist any of them.
This off-topic needs to stop. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet, I mean, this is out of control. We've been warned twice by a Moderator, I think it's time to heed his warning. This thread cannot be locked or deleted, rendering all of our hard work meaningless. I will not tolerate any more OP posts on this thread, the risk is just too great at this point for me to take any chances. Henceforth, I will be kicking anyone who engages in off-topic conversations on this thread, if you have a problem with someone, take it over PM, it doesn't have any place here. Seriously guys, pull yourselves together. I know there are those of you uninvolved with these OP posts, and I thank you for abstaining. Please, please, stay on topic, we can't afford to lose all of this work. I love your ideas, and would enjoy to continue to see them coming, you guys are one of a kind, and I couldn't ask for better.
Now, on the topic of Yeroc's career idea, I have to say no. I like the concept, but I just think an armored cephalopod with a sniper rifle could get really silly really quick. As for Ineptus' heavy class, I think we should stick with more soldier variation in terms of gear. I will begin compiling a grand compendium of of all of this information, so in the unfortunate event that this thread is locked and/or deleted, I'll have our work backed up. Now, Blood Moon should (by my estimate) be ending around sometime mid-August. During this time, I will be throwing out some 'teaser' posts to establish the plot of the campaign. The universe is pretty well detailed, and I fear if we go any further, we'll have too many player options. This may sound silly, but overdoing it may just bog down play. Feel free to post some 'fan fiction' as it were, trailers, fitting music, etc. I'm not going to accept any new race or class ideas at this time, as I will be busy compiling the Galactic Compendium. I will post the Compendium in a separate thread when I'm finished.
Mordoskul, Grand Rplogian and Grand Admiral DOOMFART, signing off
Wow. Guys have really taken this idea and ran with it, eh? I'll focus on The Midnight Thunder for now, you guys seem to have it handled. Also, that Dracomancer guy is me. Technically, it's a new profile my friend made. My internet was shot, so I used his phone. ANYWAY, my idea for drop troopers was hollow torpedoes that are shot from orbit, then pop open near the ground, with the troop inside having a jet-pack to finish the landing.
I will be fine doing any solo saboteur style tasks. You need a commander assassinated/sentry systems corrupted Turps is your man. Being an infiltrator i am something of a glass cannon so will need support if it kicks off.
On a side note i am not really a fan of some of you guys' 'class inbreeding'. The original classes should be enough. As you have chosen a hybrid class be aware that as infiltrator i automatically trump you at stealth, marksman weapons and sabotage/hacking.
not so. I have worse commando skills but trade it in for technical skills. i.e., you can sneak around better than me while I can hack into electronic systems better than you. the point of an infiltrator as I recall is simply a sniper-assasin and not a technician, the point of a technician is...well self explanatory. in theory, you would provide cover/take out guards, while I try to bypass automated defenses. (I am not sure if mordo is O.K with my 'unique' class, if it does not go over I will be an infiltrator, even though we have a lot already)
I'm cool with regular soldier duties. I have skills in rock science, so that might be handy. I probably could lead pretty good, but that's up to you guys.
You can call dibs all you want but we shall see about what actually happens, You may very well get the job but I have a sneaking suspision that Mordo is going to have the last word here
Tyranic Marta wrote:*Shaking head slowly and sadly*

Of course he will. But don't get cocky, lest I drop kick you in the throat.
well it seem that this thread has drop somewhat into anarchy. I'd just like to point out that I don't have a problem with the levelers profiles. they seem fine to me and make sense to have some people like this, but don't under estimate the regular soldiers as they will beable to tackle a leveler with simple tactics.
@ Marta and Kasr....Focus please! We can't afford anymore OT rambling or this thread goes in the trash, I don't think I have to remind you guys we've been warned twice...
its been a while since i wrote, this is just a random fiction piece that could create some sort of political tension between the exorios and other races. This is not on great depth like names, characters, even dialogue its more like prologue to the Exorian situation with the Coalition.
When the Coalition discovered the Exorios a race far more complex and ancient than all the known races yet they had less contact with the recent Earth that showed massive potential in becoming a galactic power. But the Exorios seemed already settled in some throne of power even though they were out numbered and threaten by several politicians of some magnitude to open their planets and a small percentage of resources to the Coalition. Obviously the Exorios denied the Coalition to any rights to their resources, and to their further their resistant response they began sending battle cruisers equipped with highly advance Exorian technology. A small war began as privateers, hired by several influential figures within the Coalition, tried to capture the Exorian shipments. several hundred vessels belonging to Coalition began disappearing as more and more battled the exorians. It was till an Exorian diplomat expalin several thousand of Coalition registered citizens have been taken hostage and executed, in hopes that the Coalition would now not make focuses on making the Exorian another head on the hydra but instead a war or a embargo will be pursued on the nanite race.
A twenty year stalemate stagnated the solar system around the Exorian's planet began to slowly die from no economic growth and several environmental failures due to Exorian war mining, an stragety of stealing a foes resources to create critical environmental stress. The Coalition broke down as several races began demanding peace as economic downfall began choking thier people and trade. A new diplomacy began to end the war. the Exorians only open their seventh moon which is fully populized to the Coalition and the war stops.
It wasn't several years later that the Coalition began to understand that the Yahan's created the Exorians to help the future races that will live and strive in this universe.
This RPG looks like good fun, but I am in quite a few already. I might join if it starts after a few of the others have died down. How long is Blood Moon expected to last for? Is it necssesary for me to read the rest of this thread before making a character?
Edit: If I do join, it will be as an Exolian Scientist. Unless there is another race which I have missed who are better at science.

The shock cannon fires an explosive shell the size of a hydration canister that explodes inside the target. Messy, yes, but satisfying in its own unique way. The only true drawback is its one shot capacity, forcing one to reload between shots, additionally, the range on a shock cannon in quite short, making it ineffective at longer ranges. Bio- Arastrax has spent his life studying. He is hugely logical and scientific, even by Exolian standards, and is always looking for better and more inventive tech. He was assigned to the strike force as lead scientist, and also as an engineer/pilot, as well as an attempt to repair the void between the Exolians and the Coalition. He was resentful of the humans at first, but got on better with the rest of the strike force once he had got to know some of the human scientists and technicians.

Yeah, I did. I saw them in the OP and thought they looked really cool.
Could you please provide some extra infomation about them in regards to their culture, history and mannerisms, just so I know how to portray them properly. Thanks
I think we're over-estimating the value of human tech. Whoever made those vehicles, it would be nice to see some company names, and perhaps different species origins. Like North Star (Arcturan House-hold utilities and appliances corporation, starting to enter military development with the advent of the Shapers.) or Aerius (Hrovan House-hold appliances and furniture corporation, always had a small military division, now growing due to coalition funding.)
And what's this Terran thing? Did we not like the name Earth anymore?
I was banned for what two days? (the mods apparently went on a banning spree, if LCK and darko are correct)
and here I was fuming about not being able to reply when someone posted slightly wrong stuff.
anyways.
1. Raptorstallon...we already have a top tech...me...being from the most advanced (without aid) race in the galaxy
2. shroud: either we have a canonicity problem or our races are going to be extreme polar opposites even though they both came to being within a few hundred years of each other. It seemed to me that the Yahan were generally refereed to as evil. the Vernid historical records show that they were almost exterminated when the Yahan learned of their existence. Kasrkai's report on the Perseus Arm lists 'evil ships' being thought to exist behind the energy shield.
3. Kasrkai: It seems that terra is the standard name for earth in many sci-fi universes (in this one it was renamed in 2018, 6 years after first contact with an alien race and the trading of FTLT and recourses.
4. yes.we seem to be overestimating the Terran tech. but keep in mind that several ships as well as two ground transports that I made are of alien tech
(the vernid species backstory is that the Yahan almost completely wiped them out and forced them to stay in a stagnant tribal state for millennia, with the vernids having lost their spacefaring technology with hundreds of years of fear that the yahan would find them if they attempted to leave the planet and eradicate them.)
Culture: the only cultural festival is a small day of rest practice only once every twenty years to honor their creators the Yahan
History: Other than the Coalition war there isn't much that is notable. Their entire history is their goal of becoming perfectionist with technologies and hopes in one day they shall share their ultimate technology with other races in peace. But until then they wish not to be disturbed.
Mannerism: Strangely enough due to their logical thinking and the amount of Exolians who live in a suit the exolians show no natural body language or individualize body language. But if a single Exolian colony(one humanoid suit) is alone with people out side of its species it begins adapting by copying several body languages that its surrounding contains. but the mannerisms disappear once it reintroduce into a exolian society.
ineptus astartes wrote:1. Raptorstallon...we already have a top tech...me...being from the most advanced (without aid) race in the galaxy
*Cough*Yahan *cough*
Also, I was going on what I read in OP, and Exolians get +4 to their science skills, leading me to belive they are an incredibly sciency race. That is why I put my character as the lead scientist.
The vernids hate the Yahans if they ran into them they would try anything to see them dead and purged from the galaxy. Down to the last one. and one of the main reasons they took to the stars again was after building massive fleets to launch a suicidal revenge crusade against them. by this time the Yahan had fled into the Perseus arm.
(The vernid culture and religion is based of the AdMech's. i.e. they 'worship' the larger and more powerful machines. Or at least venerate them to the point of installing a sentient AI in each of their ships and some of their weapons.)they had been working on a virus to target the Yahan genome when they launched. but it was not finished by the time the Yahan vanished. so they wait until the precursors return, to eradicate them.
(all vernid have a immense hate of the Yahan bordering on relegion, if the Vernid deem another race to be genocidal to them,as the Yahan were they retaliate in kind, and will see them purged from the universe forever. down to the last hatchling. two races {unknown} who attempted to exterminate the Vernid no longer exist anymore) NINJA'D
raptorstalon: lead scientist is ok. I am the lead technician
and never tell the Vernid the Yahan are better. this will irk them. extremely. the last person who said that to Tennisk ended up being sold to Duklo

Name- Q'woodra
Species: Cephran
Career- Infiltrator
Equipment- Target Beam, Combat Knife, Cloaking Suit, Pistol
Backstory/Bio- Born from a clutch of over four thousand siblings, Q'woodra spent his early years swimming through the vast oceans of his homeworld, and mingling with the offworld races in the topworlder pubs. The Cephran found himself fascinated with the idea of space travel, of a life spent wandering and exploring the stars at a whim. The only roadblock in his path was a lack of finances, but Q'woodra was not dismayed by this dismal fact. Signing up with a Hrovan merchant by the name of Grooda Tahm, he helped smuggle goods into the topworld settlements, earning enough credits to take him offworld. Working as a freelance fence and smuggler, Q'woodra made quiet a decent living for himself, avoiding the notice of the Coalition. During a standard smuggling run on Andromeda, Q'woodra was pulled over by a Coalition patrol craft, who demanded to search his cargo. Q'woodra complied, but suspected there was more to these patrolmen than met the eye. He was correct, the patrolmen were really members of the Muzza Consortium who sought to steal his cargo, a fact which was revealed when they tried to kill him. Q'woodra killed his attackers and fled into Jump Space, forced to abandon his run after the conflict. The Muzza Consortium then placed a ten-thousand credit bounty on his head, and has forced Q'woodra to lay low to avoid their bounty hunters and hit men.
Motivation- Q'woodra is in it for the money, nothing more, nothing less. If he saves the galaxy and makes a profit, well, that's just icing.
Best Quality- Q'woodra is dependable and loyal, always coming through when he is most needed.
Worst Quality- Q'woodra openly mocks humanoids, who he refers to as 'poor ape-creatures'. This trait has made him more than a few enemies.

Quote- “How could you possibly find Advanced Quantum Theory confusing? What do you mean you have never heard of Inverted Phase Manipulation?”
I just had a look at your character sheet, and you are listed as a 'commando technician' not a scientist. From the info I can find on this class, it seems to be more of a battlefield mechanic, much like the engineer class in many video games.
I would expect a character like this to advance with a group of soilders, asisting them with things like repairs and vehicles. Where as a scientist would research the enemy and develop weaponry to fight them and so staying away from the spear tip most of the time.
raptorstalon: yes my character is like that (Fixer, from Republic Commando)but can hack into a lot of mechanical doo-hickeys. a scientist would be trying to study fauna and waorking on more delicate tech (as well as any Yahan stuff. Tennisk wont touch it)
Also, I know this is going to start once Blood Moon is finished, but how long is that likely to be? Few Days? Few Weeks? Few Months? More than a Year? (I'm not familier with that RP and its goings on)
Ok, I can wait a few weeks. Probably a good idea to wait untill the middle/end of august anyway, as alot of people will be on holiday and would therefore miss the start.
