I know this is done all the time, but I have not seen one on this site yet. So, here it is!!!

I know that we all like different Space Marine Chapters for different reasons. However, what I really want to know is what Chapter(s) do you actually game with? You can vote multiple times if you have multiple armies.

Thanks for the info, and may the Emperor protect!!!
(That's geek for "I hope your dice roll well for you.")

I can still remember when a box of 30 Space Marines was $30.00. Now THAT'S old school! In fact, I started playing in the Rogue Trader days...yes, I am that old. Played Warhammer Fantasy for years before Rogue Trader even came out...

I was doomed the moment my friend, with whom I usually played WHFB, showed me a copy of the Realms of Chaos books. I loved the fluff about the God Emperor, and really wanted to play a Space Marine army. Then I saw the miniatures. Mind you, this was back in '91, so the Space Marines were pretty horrible. I soon discovered the Aspect Warriors of the Eldar, which are still amazing. Space Marines were not my top priority.

However, back in the day, you could buy a box of 30 Space Marines for $30.00. So, I picked some up. I have been happy ever since. Of course, my old "beaky" Marines have grown into Nurgle Marines. Using Greenstuff, I was able to put big bellies on the little guys. Now, they look like normal sized modern Marines, and their squating stance makes a little more sense.

I have a DIY Chapter using the Blood Angels rules. So far, the DC are AMAZING.

I have enough Marines to make half of a Company of other Marines, but I am not sure which Chapter to go with. Hence the poll.

(By the way, I graduated in '91, so I am not some old fart talking about the "Good old days"...most of the time anyway)

Used to play Space wolves...

Then i tried painting up some black templars...

Then I went to this website dedicated to the Raven Guard...and was hooked. Then they released the Chapter Approved Astartes insert in the White Dwarf about the Raven Guard...and I haven't looked back since.

I love the Fluff and their rules...and soon it will all change.

I also have a unit of Deathwatch thats almost complete.

I wonder if the Tyranids are afraid of the long term effects of genetically modified food? I mean, is 10,000 years enough time to determine if anyone who eats a Space Marine might become sterile or something?

Just some FOOD for thought......man, even I thought that one was bad....

I'm getting into SM after my Tzeench list is done... I like the Blood Ravens for the part they have in Dawn of War and their mysterious nature, but Ima do a DIY chapter.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
