My last 21 days of freedom before grad school starts up, let's see what I can do whilst spending time with my friends / fiancee before bidding them adieu.

- Salvage

Goal: Get all my ork models inventoried and converted to be 5th edition compliant, also repaint 3 old ork armies to match my main force so they are all one coherent army.

Minimal model building:
*12 Tankbustaz still need rokkit launchers
*10 more lootaz: 5 more on spures, 5 more from converty bitz.
*8 Bikers left to convert, BIKES = DONE need riders.
*Need about 15 Slugga Boyz and 10 'Ard Boyz out of my endless bit bucket and I am running short on Gobplates and Shoulder plates!
*Big Gunz squad needs to be re-based from square to round cinematic bases.

Advanced Conversions:
*Since Flash gitz are now nob quality, My Old flash gitz are now shoota boyz, :( But I do have a bunch of metal Nob torso/legs to convert up a squad. Maybe gonna make them pirates.
*I don't own any Kommandoz! So I think I need some Ninja kommandoz

Painting:
*120 boyz
*80ish grotz
*10 Nobz
*9 Walkerz
*6 Trukkz

Assemble and undercoat the remaining 30 Infantry models for my Krieg forces. Done
Assemble the mortar teams. Done
Assemble heavy mortar teams. Done
Finish building my Knight Robot!

Paint:
The remaining 5 Krieg Inf. from July. Done
All? of the remaining krieg forces. (We´ll see about this one.)
Finish basing the first batch of DKOK.

This month for me....

- Finish painting my CSM termintators but that should be just a couple nights away
- Finish carnifex/trygon conversion

I'm gonna try and find a suitable spray paint that looks like bleached bone so I can spray the tanks and hopefully get them done a lot quicker.

EDIT: Changed mine a bit, after my terminators I wanna do a carnifex/trygon conversion.. dunno how long it'll take so I'm giving me plenty of time

EDIT: So after stripping the last 4 MOWST I'd gotten for a trade I discovered that I was missing the Kaptain's right (weapon) shoulder piece. Grr. On top of that, one of the mooks' halberd's is damaged (bottom missing). Hrmn. I haven't yet decided whether I'm going to pick up another guy to strip for parts or just make 'em a squad of 3 or what yet, so these guys are going on the back burner for now...

You know, I've never met my goals. Lets dumb it down even more (just in time for 5th edition! )

i got all my building vows done and then some for last month... but fell shot of painting vows (only 1 / 3 done)

so for this month. ill slow down a bit.

1. finish up 24 fire warriors. (12 are on bases just need the little thing on thier helmet, and 12 need arms, bases, and the little thing on thier helmet)

1. finish up my german 10.5 CM artty battery.
2. finish getting the base colors on my menoth zelots.
3. see if i can paint this new tau color sceam on tanks (got 2 fire warriors and an obj marker to look halfway decent with it... but the large pannels of the tau tanks are the true test)

Well this month I'm setting some more realistic goals for myself.

Paint: the contents of the Ogre Battalion (except the gnoblars)

oh and get more than 4 hours sleep a day so I don't have to rush off to work with headrush >.<

Lots of travel this month, hobby time is seriously pinched. So I'll go light:

-Finalize army color scheme on test models
-paint up at least 8 lootas
-Finish modeling work on "Lemmy" dread

-paint up the Deff Choppas

been slacking last couple monthe but 5th edition has motivated me somewhat.

1.buy a sm combat squad to round out my squad numbers in prep for new marine codex. (need three, I'll use other two to make casualties maybe). Oh yeah, build and paint them too.

2. finish painting 2nd dreadnought

3. Paint razorback. actually its a predator without sponsons but I plan to use it as a razorback

4. Doubt this will happen, but start painting my termies.

Gah... summer's the slacking months it seems... since my hours at work have shifted, it's harder to find time to paint, but I'm still making vows, mostly wrapping up old projects.

1. Finish painting the Seer Council I started 2 weeks ago.

2. Finish the Necron Lord I started last week.

3. Finish basing the wraiths I painted 3 weeks ago.

4. Start a modelling blog/article for the scratch Monolith I'm making progress on (woohoo!).

5. Post more pics of what I've already painted.

In light of my poor performance in June I'm going easy this time.

Buy, build, base and paint 3 Ravenwing bikes for my Dark Angels.

1. Produce 20 more Chapter pads for my Celestial Lions.

2. Assemble and prime and paint Tac1's remaining 4 men.

3. Finish off five terminators.

4. Assemble and clean 2 x 10 men dev squads.

Painting Goals:

Finish Painting my current squad of Death Skull Shoota Boyz (just need to finish details on the shootas mostly)*.
Paint a test miniature for my Human Blood Bowl team (need to get some paints...)
Make significant progress on the other half of my Death Skull Boyz and Lootas (need to base, prime, and begin painting).

Assembly Goals:

Assemble 3 Ork Warbikerz (and cut the BC arm off one of my old Biker Nobz and replace with a PK)
Assemble 1 Ork Trukk

Misc Goals

Finally take some pictures of my minis to show off here at dakka and other forums

*Most Important Goal for this month.

Finish assembling my scratch built French privateer Barque based on the Flying tricycle ship kit, 'The Nutmeg' as a template. ($30 was a pretty good deal for a kit I can use as a template to make an even cooler looking ship) http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/214307.page

Done so far:

All major pieces have been painstakingly cut out of the basswood blanks.

All cosmetic decking has been glued to the structural deck.

All minor assembly completed (fighting tops, stairs, longboat, etc.)

Need to do:

Build steam clamping compression form for the hull pieces (these will take several days for each hull piece to dry, so this may delay the project just a slight bit)

Finish engraving planking lines in the deck (tedious)

Tentative Build sails out of plastic card for game play durability. (Not so sure about this one. Sounds good in theory, but am second guessing my ability to pull this off. This may be scratched off of the list later during assembly)

Build modular sockets for removable cannons in the hull cannon ports

Various cosmetic trim work (railings, cleats, steerage, etc)

Complete 5 Terminators for the Raiders.
Assemble my box of Orc warriors.
Paint my AoW Orc Shaman.
Play at least 1 game of Warhammer using Orcs.
Build at least 2 new decks for MTG.
Build a PH Salamander and Unification: 1st Legion marine.

paint two squads of plague marines.... and finish my converted rhino.

I've got all but # 3 done, and it's only because I'm working on 'ard boyz stuff. /pats self on back.
