Yeah the flyer looks like it could be cut to pieces and made into something useful. And that walker is horrible. A bad knock off of the Matrix one for certain. I liked the one from the Matrix. I think his movie is going to flop. Not enough to really get me excited.
But that is just me.

I know where you're coming from, but I don't think it will "flop" in the commercial sense. Too many people will watch it out of curiosity. However, I don't believe it will revered as a classic like Aliens or Terminator.
And yes, that walker looks rubbish. Why does it need hands to hold a gun? What I like about the Aliens Power Loader was that it looked like a machine built for a function.
Anyway, this is (probably) one James Cameron film that GW won't be plundering design ideas from.

I am really finding it hard to be cynical about a Cameron movie that has colonial Marines in it.
Because we just have such an overabundance of good "Marines in space" movies these days. Wait a minute....

Wow, you just jumped around like 200 years of history in one sentence. This movie will have Small Pox blankets, but the differnece is they will be fired at the noble, savage, wise, earth friendly natives from ICBM's.

Much of modern culture is all about self-hatred. Self-hatred has been around and profited on for decades.
I've read that this movie is basically Delgo by James Cameron. Taking a movie that, by all metrics, flopped catastrophically, and adding a bigger budget and some actors.

I hate to still be an apologist, but seriously, there is a massive difference knowing the plot and knowing the story.
I guess the Dark Knight was just about the Jokers rampage on Gotham, what actually happens in the story means nothing, right?
I actually compare this movie to the CG flick battle for Terra that came out earlier this year.

Correction, western modern culture
I've read that this movie is basically Delgo by James Cameron. Taking a movie that, by all metrics, flopped catastrophically, and adding a bigger budget and some actors.
Technically Delgo is a knock-off of Avatar which been on paper for some 15 odd years and just start filming a couple of years ago.

I've seen these toys in our local Toy's R Us.
All in all, that photo you have there doesn't do it justice. There are about two or three range sized of figures. One was 6 inch, the other was approx. 3-4 inch, depending on the size of those new G.I.Joe figures.
I expect that they will have a 12 inch version of a couple of the lead characters, as well.
The V.T.O.L. is really tight, and would go great for a flyer model, providing you add the appropriate cardstock, and additional Imperium glyphs and decals. The thing hazs alot of detail for a toy, and there is an additional tank like thing for the ground that is kinda cool, as well.
Additionally, if you had yourself one of those HALO quad runnders, it would go great in the back of the vehicle and come out the ramp. (I'm thinking drop troops here, if I was to go at playing with this with the 40K guys.)
The aliens have a bunch of animals and a dragon kinda thing that looks kinda Meh.
As for that walker, that looks like some sort of Terminatior salvation reject that they didn't get out in time.
.... Speaking of Terminator salvation, theres an HK that looks kinda like the flier that might be a better scale for the game, and probibly wouldn't need as much work.
You might consider using both, one as a troop transport, the other as a cargo transport.
