I am doing a lot of cool stuff with my space wolves and wanted to plog it here. I am just going to put in a couple of images to start and then will add and edit more later.

No thunderwolf model? no problem.

And here is an idea of what paint scheme I am doing. And yes, as a matter of fact the dude knows he is awesome.

What are you basing the Thunderwolf model on?

I do like the other models including that very intriguing gentleman in the terminator armour, though Mr Awesome is just a fantastic pose!

These look awsome! Using the shield to replace the knee pad on the termi is a nifty idea, but looks a little oversized. Might be the proximity to the hip plate that's making me think that.

Okay..so..I like the Thunderwolf idea. And thats how it started off. By the end of the day today..maybe tomorrow..there will be an entirely new version of that. stay tuned.

looking really cool so far, really liking terminator.

Intrigued to see more thunder wolves, been trying to plan how to do mine recently.

okay...I said earlier to day that there would be a new version of the Thunder Wolf I was working on. Here is the new pic of him. I pulled the model apart, cut legs off and redid the neck, and the tail will need to be sculpted. I have a long way to go on the green stuff..BUT..this is much better.

I suggest in stead of sculpting a NEW tail , you sculpt around the one you already have . I also suggest you greenstoff that awesome collar it had earlier back on AND paint it

Dude, totally digging the conversions, and the paintjob as well. It's the same scheme I want to do (dark grey with gold, incidentally about the same from the guy on the front cover). Is the paintjob just Codex Grey > Fortress Grey?

Its just foundation Adeptus Battlegrey...with a single wash of badab black. I then went back and did highlights..with the Adeptus Battlegrey again.

I too, love the cover art.

Considering the shoulder pads are white, Im assuming the company badges on them are gonna belong to either Bran Redmaw or Erik Morkai?

you are correct they are Bran Redmaw's company. The company badge is already there..you just cant see it. I think the next squad is gonna be Grimblood's.

okay....so..I have another shot of the 1st thunderwolf with the rider. Its not even close to finished..but you get the idea.

There is alot of GS work to do....but hopefully by tonight's end..he'll be close.
