Anyone ever played or seen a game called mini ninja's?
Anyway, chibi models? love it.
Looks like it could be pretty amusing to play.
Sign me up, i dont think SP have really made a bad model yet.
Also, they like thier backround and fluff alot, so could this draw an even bigger crowd in?
Navarro: These models arent deformed as such, just seem to be the complete opposit of your sculpting.
While yours tends to be well edged, grim-dark and overall realistic, these tend to be an amusing and light hearted take on the game.
Also, when you getting more nid stuff done?

Like Luna said I was refering to the style. Mind that I do love Super deformed caricatured drawings.
As for them in miniatures there was a fella that did some... and even if very cute I did not got them because they just didnt fit in any of my collections. Since Im a fan of Soda pop I will wait and see how the sculpt work turns out.
I'm back from summer vacations and at the end of August you will have something special for bugs

Looks like my wallet will get hit yet again.
I thought 5,000 points of nids would be a stopping point :(
OT: So, any better pics of the new mini's?
Not going to make too much of it unless i get to see more of them, in detail.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

The line's called Super Dungeon Explore, it sounded like they were in full production on the minis now with a release for the full game of sometime in 2011.
As far as the line itself went, it definitely did sell out really fast. I managed to pick up a demon girl thief, and a friend of mine got a female human mage, I believe. The other ones I can remember were a female elf archer, a human male knight, and a dwarf warrior on the heroes side, with a range of lizard people or somesuch to fight against, as well as treasure chests and whatnot.
Here's the thief. I'll try to take a better picture when I get home, and I can also take one of the logo/art. I'll see if I can get my friend who bought the mage to upload a picture too.

I'll get a pic of the Mage mini up over my lunch. The game looked pretty sweet from what myself and zefig saw. It sort of reminded me a bit of going through a treasure room of WHQ or Descent with a play style a bit like FFT from the looks of it. Here's to hoping the game is as incredible as it looked!

Holy crap those are adorable. I love tactics-style video games and many use chibified SD style like this. Could be quite fun to have a miniatures game on it, especially if I can drum up interest at the store.

Even if the game is crap ( not saying it is, the demo was great fun) I must own these just to paint and collect. Picked up the elf ranger and human paladin. I was mad I noticed it so late, the mage and demon / rogue are sweet sculpts (sold out)
