How long does it take to send it out and do they send it straight to your house and not some post office. I checked no PO and put my home address. They send it straight to your house or apartment??

The length of time depends on how much you spent. When I bought stuff from them it took about a month to get to me. Yes they deliver it directly to your house if that is the address you put.

I bought an Ork Mega Dread with Claws. If its a big package then it takes long??

Not sure on the size thing, I think it's more of how much money you spent. The reason why is because if I remember correctly if you buy something like a titan you get free fast shipping. Which you can get the faster shipping for other stuff it just costs more. So if you just went with the standard shipping for your stuff it might take a while.

Maybe they had to put mine on back order or something, because mine took way longer than 9 days.

The last two orders my LGS made were here (Western Canada) in 4-5 days.

Where they send it and where it ends up are two very different things.

I get everything sent to my apartment. Most of the time I have to go and pick it up from the Post Office because I'm not here when it arrives.

Thankfully I have a deadbeat brother who is at home 24/7 and will most of the time answer the door, so no worries there. Though I placed my order yesterday evening and I kinda forgot that FW is a company that has a three day weekend, so the order won't be processed until Monday sadly.

It took me about two weeks to get a set of Elysian heads and two Vendetta kits. However, it took a friend of mine in the same small town a week to get some Tau suit (forget which one), both standard shipping. I think it goes by "it gets there when it gets there".

I know I'm in the UK but it was next day for my imperial/crimson fist terminator shoulder pads, the terminators ordered from GW however took over a week ordered with in 5 minutes of each other now that was annoying should have just gone in store to get them that'll teach me to be lazy.

It really all comes down to the age of the model and what day you place the order on. If the model is brand spanking new, you can bet your arse they've got quite a stock of them lying about. Older models and kits, those might be cast up on order. As for the day, like I said, they've got a three day weekend.

Last time I ordered something (was about a $1000 order consisting of CSM dreads, DKoK infantry, Witch Hunters rhino stuff and Thousand Sons stuff) I had everything on my apartment door less than 48 hours later in Salem OR in the US pacific northwest.

I've never had an issue with FW stuff taking long to get to me.

I've placed a couple of non-expedited orders with them. One arrived in less than a week. The other took about a month. My order from Games Day took 1.5 - 2 weeks. This is calendar, not business days. So yes, I can agree with the sentiment that it arrives when it arrives.

Edit: forgot to add, they send it to the house. I don't remember if the post office dropped it off with no fuss, or required me to request delivery via that little orange notice they leave. But my local post office is really bad about delivering parcels so this may not reflect how it works out for you.

Granted, big money orders tend to get bumped up a notch or two in the priority ladder, as they will do anything to keep whales coming back.

It's all down to stock levels, and how much of an item they can store. Remeber it's just about the end of the show season so stocks of popular stuff will be depleted, while the rest (Crimson Fist shoulder pads) will still (probably) be readily available. So the time can be a little random, but they generally get it across as soon as they can

They shouldn't have any trouble with my fuel tanks and Elysian decals then.

I ordered Sevrin Roth+HG, RS shoulder pads and a RS veteran upgrade box on the 1st, the bits were already released, but Roth was only available the this week. Just shipped today, so should get em on Monday with luck (living on an island has some downsides )

It took about 4-5 days to get to me in Canada. I was quite impressed with the speed (but then I did pay $25 for regular postage!)

Also a Large number of the models are now cast in China and sent to the UK, SO with newer releases if you don't get in on the pre order you may end up waiting till the next shipment comes in

Kits the size of the Vulture in in lots of 30-50 from over seas, figures and smaller parts come in larger numbers.

The Big kits are still cast in the UK for the most part on a as needed basis, with some ( Reaver and Warahounds ) there is some back stock.

Depending on stock, how big the order is, no over seas CC issues ( tends to happen if you use a CC that has never been used for over seas charges , so you have to call the fraud dept to get ti approved), and type of shipping, and if there is a Con that FW is attending or UK postal strike, the orders can take any where between 7 business to 3 months.

Express shipping comes UPS and typical comes in 3-5 Business days, verses normal. Ship times are down since the new web page came up.

I live in AZ and I ordered yesterday. thursday over here. So I will wait for 3 days weekend. and another few days. They knock on the door and HERE IS YOUR ORDER! like that?? hopefully my dad will stay in the house for the whole week just in case.

Plus the popularity of the kit, etc etc.

Vendettas and the head conversion kits all tend to be things they're constantly casting, from what I gather.

Exactly. I bought a Baneblade years ago and had it to me in the USA in about a week. I ordered 2 Grey Knight Cruisers for BFG and it took over a month.

I ordered a rhinox rider and the new Badab poster (DREAD <3) on Sept 12 and it finally shipped this week, so we're looking at about a month total time. But then I also ordered during their Games Day season, so serves me right

Rhinox rider! Are you using it for a hero, or making a unit of them eventually? I actually had a unit of treekin stand up to a charge from a unit of riders in 7th edition .

Actually, it's for a scraplauncher! I've got a thunderlord in the closet that's waited years to hit the field, but I'm frankly not a huge fan of rhinox riders, as they're only quasi-legal, and a little too good for me to feel right about using. Bah, maybe I'll make them both up, my ogres could use the help

I was wondering about the quasi-legal part although I certainly wouldn't mind someone using them. Talk about a pricey ($$$) unit, though!

And I take it you don't like the normal scraplauncher model?

I've heard enough nightmare stories of building the thing to not want to waste time & money on one, though I do like it over all. For about the same cash I can get a rhinox rider, slap some leadbelcher kit on the rider and call it a scrappy - I've seen the conversion once before and really liked it, so stolen it is. The only rough part is why the 'ogre' gets 6 WS2 S2 attaks in combat, but I like to think he's in an awkward position and just kicking from the saddle - though kicking furiously
