Regarding them looking like tau. Eldar and Tau share some similar aesthetics and can be used for both

They have distributors here in Australia, The Combat Company sell MAS bases and are based in Sydney I believe. But you can buy them from MAS direct and they will post them to you.

So the sizes available are 25mm... and 60mm? (I only saw "40mm still to come" in the OP).

The 40mm are still in production and will take some time to make it into the set, could be a couple of days after release or even weeks, but rest assured they will come none the less

May we assume that the usual places in the US will be able to sell these, such as FTW Games and The War Store for example?

Pretty neat. To be hoenst, as cool as an entire Eldar army on these would be, I'd think it was even cooler if someone themed their IG as a regiment on a long-term campaign against Eldar and used these. Distress the bases a bit and have the IG use Eldar bits as trophies, scavenged weapons, etc.
Then again, I'm weird.

No, I get that too. I like to see armies on bases with a different "theme" to the army... Eldar on trench bases, IG on chaos bases, etc.

I dont see any flat edge. They have rounded corner, is that what you mean?
BrassScorpion wrote:May we assume that the usual places in the US will be able to sell these, such as FTW Games and The War Store for example?
If they usually stock MAS products then I would assume so, but it is best to contact either them or MAS just to make sure of stock.

I agree, I like that idea, however I did design these for my Eldar so I will be boring and use these for that (Ulthwe Eldar ) but don't feel you have to use these for just Eldar/Tau.

The Tau thing on them is the "joint lines", Eldar technology tends to be more uniform, more like something organic that just growth that way. The joint lines make it look like "plates of plastic and metal", the round style complete the "touch".
But they are awesome anyway

Have the people claiming these look like Tau rather than Eldar ever looked at the lines in an Eldar Falcon model? Seriously, check it out.

Those look awesome. I would collect them (Painting in ULthwe) but I'm afraid my models would disappear into the base....I always like my bases to be a sharp contrast to my paint scheme so my models pop. But again, these look awesome and would look really good in an Iyanden theme (and fluffy too against a Nid player!).
