Story: You are a band of Acolytes working for the Inquisitor Lord Hath Barbaris Oldern. During your most recent mission the Rouge Trader vessel you are travelling in ‘The Abyssal’, was invaded and wrecked during a close scrap with a splinter fleet of Tyranid creatures. You all awake from your cryogenic chambers to find a ruined Space hulk of what used to be your ship.

Background: Hath Barbaris Oldern is an Inquisitor Lord of great standing and is currently fighting the forces of Chaos in the Warp. You have been left to work in his stead. There are many mysteries and adventure waiting for you out there.

Character app making: If you are confused about any of the application fields that need filling in just consult the Dark Heresy rulebook, I would prefer people used the main Dark Heresy rule book for their characters.

Character job: Assassin/Psyker
Description of character: Hale is short yet thin making her the perfect build for an assassin. She has ebony blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She appears to be about 19 in age but has infact lived much longer than her years. Often choosing to wearing her assassin's skin suit underneath a long hooded trench coat. She is mysterious and somewhat secretive. She also has an aptitude for minor Psykick abilities.
Brief background (must involve reason for joining): She is the most trusted and loyal of all of Inquisitor Olderns Acolytes. He recruited her when she was merely a child and cared for her as well as training her to become an Inquisitor. She doesn't remember much of her past and Oldern doesn't talk about it.

*Hale opens her eyes slowly. She looks around the ruined Cryo-quarters as the Cryogenics chamber door slides open infront of her. She steps out of the pod and the mist from inside the chamber drifts out in the form of a light fog across the floor*

*Kaspar's eyes open quickly and he looks around carefully to see if everything is as it should be*

character: Dagon Orcus Gunnar.

Dagon is a former Armageddon steel legionnaire weapons specialist, he is well learned in using many weapons, both imperial, or non-imperial. from lasguns to grot blastas to splinter rifles.

He takes great pride in hailing from armageddon and still wears his uniform although modified with several more holsters and an inquisitorial rosette pinned to his chest. under the rebreather is still only a teen at the age of 17 who has fought for three years with the legions already. (minimum guard recruiting age is fourteen) he is somewhat short at the hight of 5'4 and has jet black hair and naturally tanned skin both from his fathers tallarn heritage, and living in the jungle hives. his eyes are a nondescript brown and he sports a small scar on his left forearm from a tragic titan incident that took the lives of 41 men. he keeps this mark as a reminder that even the most powerful of ones one weapons can be turned against their users. inside combat his grim attitude has been likend to that of a death korpsman, while outside combat he is an easygoing and sarcastic personality. for his utter uncaring viscousness when in combat he has earned the nickname "dragon" Dagon

he came to join the inquisition directly after the third war for armaggedon, when his entire unit exepting him and two others were wiped out by a flight of fighta bommas. he has remarcably low animosity towards the tau and the eldar, knows that the orks believe the humans to be just like them(loving of carnage.) see's the dark eldar and heretics as nothing more than animals but above all he is fascinated with the tyranids, and writes down observations about thmeafter every encounter in he notebook.

*Hale walks silently out into the darkof the room, her black coat floating behind her as she walks. The darkness of the room is broken only by the ghostly blue glow from the remaining operational Cryo-chambers and the sparks from broken mechanisms around the room.*

*Samuel stomps inside the room, loading his stormbolter and preparing his force halberd..*

*Kaspar instinctively reaches for his shotgun just to remember that it isn't there because it wasn't with him in the pod. He starts to look for others*

*´Hey, Im over here!Dont shoot me! That would fail anyway..*

*hears someone shouting* Thank the emperor it wasn't a hostile.

*The door slides open casting a dull amber light into the room. Hale looks up at the hulking figure of Samuel in his power armour crowding the light from the corridor. Her bright eyes shining out from the shadow of her hood.*

*Kaspar sees Hale and Samuel and walks towards them* Anybody know what's going on around here?

*Hale turns to Kaspar*

I don't know, but I believe The Abyssal has been shut down and placed on emergence power supplies for some time. *She crackles with a vox-altered voice, that still shows hints of a warm undertone*

*looks around again* I have a bad feeling of all this. I wonder where all my weapons are. *looks at some containers in the back of the room*

Dagon stood up, his mind foggy from cryosleep, reaching for his weapons locker hi fumbled with the frosty keys before opening it up and stepping in. stumbling for the nearest rack. choosing a laspistol an ork 'slugga' and a tau pulse rifle, he opened the door. kicking it open with the loudest slam he had ever heard he grabbed a bag of multi-purpose grenades and flung a precautionary no-lethal flash-bang into the hall. slapping his hands to his ears he still heard it like a nova cannon blast.

slamming on his helmet but leaving his rebreather in its pouch he walked out into the misty gloom...

Character name: Jonathan Fornika Esteban Georgicus Hannibal Kaen (most call 'im Kaen)
Character job: arbitrator
Description of character: A blond haired young gentleman hailing from Kalliuston 6, a hive world in the <redacted> Sector, Kaen sometimes looks, and often sounds, well beyond his years, though in the fight for the Imperium, Kaen is a relative young blood.
Brief background: An underestimated arbitrator of considerable detective ability, Kaen is a recent addition to Inquisitor Oldern's posse.

*Ambling out of cryo-coffin with a stiffness of the legs, Kaen spots some of the others and moves to join them* What in the bloody <redacted for explicit content> happened here? And what's with the air quality around here? Slightly worse than outhive air.

*goes through the containers in the back and finds his equipment. A scoped lasgun, a shotgun, a knife, ammo and a couple of grenades* In perfect condition. *turns to look at Samuel and Hale* Shouldn't we find out what is going on in here?

*Hale looks turns her hooded head to look down the corridors*

I'm not sure what's happening, but I think we should find out.

*turns and strides of down the corridor to the left, high heeled boots clicking on the floor with each step*

*peers into the gloom and sees the figures of hale,samual and kaspar dissmises the notion of sending a pulse round over thier head for laoughs as samual would probably gut him*

*opens door*

*Kaspar spots Kaen* Come over here. Some of this stuff might be yours. *he points at the open containers he has been rummaging through*

*turns around to see Dagon* Oh. Hello. Didn't see you there.

"hey" *follows hale*

*Hale turns back at the call from Dagon, looking back down the corridor*

Hurry up you lot, we need to search the ship to find out what's happened and I doubt that we have alot of time

*She turns back again and draws a long katana power sword from under her coat*

*Kaspar follows Hale loading his shotgun while walking*

Right behind you.

Ok, I think we should break into teams, give the ship a brief sweep while working our way up to the bridge so that we can get our selves to a planet.

*Hale walks to the end of the corridor and turns the corner into the Darkness*

*charges pulse rifle* "i'l take center..."

She knows how to dissapper now doesn't she. *looks around* Teams... seems like everyone is going alone. *looks at Samuel* Where to?

*the vox-altered tones emerge from the darkness*

So if Dagon and Kaspar follow me then Kaen and Samuel can take the other route.

*runs after Hale* Wait up.
