Awesome job, and they're not all Black Reach boyz! The character really comes out in a lot of them.

Unfortunately I've never liked the deffskulls, so I can only give it a 9/10

WOW DEMZ IZ SUM PROPA ORKSES!!
Seriously man, they look awesome in the photo's, every model (even down to the black reach boys). Difficult to pick a favourite so I'll pick 3; Battle Wagon, Deff Dread and Skullkrak/Ghazghkull conversion.

Daayum. What did you use to make the Warboss?
My one criticism is that it looks a little faded, but I suppose that looks better in person.

Warboss is a heavily converted ghazskull thraka with nobz bitz. Its easy to chop him up now he's finecast. And as for the fade, well what can I say but that I love to use weathering powders & my trusty old devlan mud. I don't like bright models, its just too unrealistic for me

Good lord, this is amazing! I am just setting forth with a WIP of my own (Waaagh in progress), talk about inspiration. Love the blue glow coming from the view slits of the kanz and dredz, and the rust effect is cracking. Whats your technique for the rust and the glow? (So I can pinch it).

Firstly cheers for the kind comments, and glow is ice blue drybrushed around the area where the light is coming from. The further away from the light source I tend to mix in the surrounding colour with ice blue. For example silver.

The rust is as follows
1. Sponge on Scorched brown & fw orange rust 50:50
2. Sponge on fw orange rust
3. Sponge on boltgun metal
4. Devlan mud wash

Be sure to water down all weathering powders 1st, as don't want them too thick. Hope that helps.

Beatonator also asked about the blood, and the answer -
Tamiya clear red, flicked on randomly. Works a treat on khorne berzerkers too

So you mix the weathering powder with the scorched brown? Interesting. What do you seal it with, or do you find you don't have to seal it if you mix it with paint?

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.
