Lumbering inexorably across the battlefield, animantaraxes are living siege engines. The ornate houdaas atop their backs bristle with veteran crews of Praetorians wielding spears and Venators manning double-combed reiver guns. Incoming fire serves only to enrage these giant beasts, and their handlers gladly indulge their anger and watch with grim satisfaction as the behemoths smash through their foes and deliver death to everything within reach.

Looks very cool, and I know some Skorne players were a tad upset that Colossals were being announced before Skorne had even seen their battle engine.

Interesting that it's more expensive than the other BEs by about $10. It looks much more massive than other BEs given its dimensions and the bulkiness of its superstructure.

For good reason, IMO.
I like it, even if it's ridiculously top-heavy.
Not sure about the flayer cannon on the front. It doesn't seem very seige-like.
"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"
I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

lolwut? O.o
What are you going on about?
Cause they're S-Korne.
Sblood for the sblood god.
It's a really old and reeeeaally lame joke that I haven't seen since the original Mk1 release of Hordes.

Because when I see Skorne, I think scorne... Never once did that joke cross my mind...
Their armor being red and bronze(Khorne's colors) and coming from a martial society didn't help matters, honestly.

The battle engines have been hit and miss for me. This one is a bit of a miss. I don't like the big hammer tail, and I think that the model is much too tall, to the point that it seems like the beast would have a hard time moving about carrying that thing on top of it. Still, it would be cool to see one of these in use some time.

Hahahahahaha this model is so awful. It's a turtle covered in metal, with the most nonsensical howdah I have ever seen. Total garbage in my opinion. I will say that on the other hand I have liked many of PP's recent large releases, but this is DEFINITELY not one of them.
