So I've been hearing lots of codex rage (particularly against the Ward codices), and so I thought I'd gather opinions on which things in other armies that people enjoy. This can be something you like to play against, like the model, the fluff, or wish you could have in your army.
I like the Bloodthirster, and really wish they hadn't taken it away from us CSM players. I also love the LRBT because lets be honest. Its awesome.

I really like flamers of Tzeentch. There army entry is awesome, their rules are awesome and their fluff is even better. How sometimes they can burn you alive, or just spray you with sweet smelling perfume, all just for their entertainment.

Imperial Guard Guardsman Marbo... I saw him in action in a recent apoc game and he was hilarious, he gets to start in reserve and come into play directly behind an enemy formation with some manner of bomb... He actually wound up saving my titan from 9 Necron scarab swarmers.

That's the thing with 40k, for me. xD I like so much of it, it makes it very hard to actually lock down and CHOOSE to buy something.
I've always liked a lot of the Tyranid units, the Hive/Tyrant guards, Lictors, Mawloc/Trygons, and Warriors. Despite what a lot of people say, I really think they've got a character of their own, beyond the whole xenomorph-expy thing.
The Necrons are epic. Chaos is epic. A BUNCH of the Space Marine chapters have got my goat; Crimson Fists, Dark Angels, Raven Guard... Even the Space Woofs, as I like to call them, have their own charm.
Orks are fething HILARIOUS. WAAAAGH, DA ORKS AR DA ONLY BOYZ HAVIN' SUM FUN IN DIS LOT! WUT DA ZOG YU MEEN, HUMIE?! O'COURSE DATS AWESOME! I AUGHT TA CRUMP YA, YA SNOT-GROBBIN' GROT HUGGAH! WAAAAAGH!!!
The IG is cool too, though I've always seen them as the buttmonkey of the rest of the 40k world. Guardsmen are the mooks of 40k, but they do have some AWESOMESAUCE vehicles.
Tau are also pretty cool. Their philosophy is rather refreshing from all the GRIMDARK stuff going on around them, and the battlesuits are pretty boss.
I suppose the only factions I haven't really gotten into are Eldar, Dark Eldar, and Grey Knights, if they count as a faction. Eldar, I guess I just haven't looked at them hard enough to be enamored. Dark Eldar... I suppose more of the same.
Grey Knights are the only guys I have a legitimate beef with. They're just... A bit superman-ey? Not sure. They just never rang the bell for me.

If they made a new Eldar Codex, or an option for a full Harlequin army, I would piss off She Who Must Be Kept Happy, and build a 2k harlequin army.

You know Ensis, you could allways run a DE version of the harlies
Elite harlies as a good version.
Normal harlies as wyches.
Succubus as a harlie lord.
Could go on but you get the point
Allways loved massive MC's in armies though, but being a DE player mainly now i dont really get that option.
Also, allways wanted to find a way to pull a dragon into 40k somehow, but never really found a way :(
So, any ideas on the last one are more than welcome

Eldar - Venom - open topped transport that spits out loads of fire and carries small squads. Need these or similar in next codex.
C:SM - Stormraven - don't want to play Raven Guard as BA.
Vindicare is a good call for pretty much any army, bar maybe Tau, and for them an eversor.
